Equinox, how to balance during intense times

The 2nd Equinox of the year is here as day and night are equal. The SUN enters the sign of LIBRA which marks Autumn’s beginning here in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring down under.  

The EQUINOX the only one of two days in the year to have equal day and night. This is so important when you think about it. Everywhere on earth there is the same amount of light and darkness today. It is the start of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern. The days are getting shorter here in the North and we are in the Feminine yin time of year. We are going into the death and sleep part of the natural year here in the North while our southern neighbors will begin to see spring.

Equinox Super Moon March 20/21 2019

The last time the Full Moon and the spring equinox coincided this closely (4 hours apart) was March 20, 2000, @ 29 degrees Virgo but the last time they occurred on the same date was on March 20, 1981, also at 29 Virgo.

This is a grounded day for being very mentally focussed on all the details, the budgets, and being humble. This squares the Galactic Center can be a good day to tune into Higher Consciousness. Sept. 21/22 MERCURY ENTERS LIBRA and opposes CHIRON on ARIES

This is a very important aspect as Chiron is on the zero degree Aries point and Mercury on the zero degree Libra point. The major Horizontal East-West axis in all Natural Astrology charts.   Zero degrees of all Cardinal signs feel this new beginning and wounded more deeply.

Words can hurt. Relationship wounds can be raw but with diplomacy and being able to become the “Other” things can be rebalanced. The downside is of being overly conscious of not speaking about those wounds about doing everything for the sake of appearances. Libra’s hate conflict and avoid it at all costs preferring to be nice and placating others. This can also manifest as an awakening of your wounds and using Aries fiery cauterizing effects to heal relationship and our own wounds by expressing anger and repressed rage in view of achieving balance.  I know there has been a lot of this going on.

The balance of day and night masculine and feminine is the theme today as move deeper into the dark feminine time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the first day of Spring in the southern hemisphere.  All Cardinal signs born on the first day of the seasons feel the pressure more.

Libra is the sign of marriage traditionally but includes all serious romantic – rules by Venus- relationships and extends to include all connections to “others” including business. 

MERCURY in LIBRA QUINCUNX URANUS in TAURUS- Out of sight out of mind. 

Relationships are a mess these days and going through the throes of major change on a dime. Staying balanced within ourselves is a tricky thing too. Taurus is an immovable rock and Uranus is a game-changer. Friction occurs. sparks fly out. It’s like drilling through rock. Mercury in Libra wants peace above all. Equinox Mabon this season’s guide

The EQUINOX the only one of two days in the year to have equal day and night. This is so important when you think about it. Everywhere on earth there is the same amount of light and darkness today. It is the start of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern. The days are getting shorter here in the North and we are in the Feminine yin time of year. We are going into the death and sleep part of the natural year here in the North while our southern neighbors will begin to see spring. 

A number of festivals in different major religions are being celebrated as well starting on yesterday’s New moon. It is the Jewish New Year 5778 years. It also coincides with Islamic New Year which is rare. To all my family friends and clients Happy New Year.

 

Happy MABON Wiccan Pagan Celtic Ancient 8 wheel of the year turning point. The third major season in a Natural Year starting with Spring. This is the element of AIR.

It’s LIBRA TIME. This is one of the Major Cardinal turning points of the year. 

LIBRA is the sign of RELATIONSHIPS marriage traditionally. It is the sign of Karmic JUSTICE in the TAROT #8 begins the next three months journey. 

 

It’s very important to focus on walking a balanced life in all ways: in our spiritual mental emotional and physical ways. Prayers to the planet

This is the UN International Day of Peace and the beginning of the Jewish and Islamic New years.  I am sending prayers of Peace to the planet.

Happy New Year to my friends family and clients who celebrate Rosh Hashanah.

The MOON is in LIBRA we’re getting ready for EQUINOX on the 22nd. I’ll write about that later.

Sending blessings to Mexico in its devastating earthquakes. Sending prayers to all the Caribbean islands and U.S. Areas being hit with more Hurricanes.

The Moon is in LIBRA so take some deep breaths and get balanced. I found the New Moon energy on the 20th to be very frenetic. I was busy all day with clients in Colorado and a very long record 2 hours long reading with a client in Australia and a client in person. 

The Moon inconjuncts NEPTUNE in PISCES in the wee hours which may affect your sleeping patterns negatively. I find New Moon energy also keep me awake like Full Moon energies do. Do you feel this?  Neptune in Pisces helps us to tune into the psychic telepathic spiritual wisdom source in our unconscious easily. The universe exists there. All positive and negative things dwell there. LIBRA moon just wants superficial niceties.

Like it or not those shadows must arise. This is a good thing. The shadows we ignore get stronger the more we resist them. Power struggles and secret whispers occur at this time.

I know this sounds like sexting to you millenials. This is a lovely socializing energy in the evening. Go out to dance or watch an adventure film or take a foreign language class or a lovely dinner. Talk politics and religion- the two taboos. Go to a comedy club and laugh.

The equinox begins the next three months journey. 2017 is winding down already. 

October sees a big shift as JUPITER enters SCORPIO OCTOBER 10 for a year. SATURN enters his home sign CAPRICORN on DECEMBER 19.

So its important to finish up the LIBRA nicey nice socializing energy quickly. Begin to close in on SAGITTARIUS type things- teaching traveling plans educational goals learning publishing legal matters and optimism.
