Equinox, how to balance during intense times

The 2nd Equinox of the year is here as day and night are equal. The SUN enters the sign of LIBRA which marks Autumn’s beginning here in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring down under.  

The EQUINOX the only one of two days in the year to have equal day and night. This is so important when you think about it. Everywhere on earth there is the same amount of light and darkness today. It is the start of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern. The days are getting shorter here in the North and we are in the Feminine yin time of year. We are going into the death and sleep part of the natural year here in the North while our southern neighbors will begin to see spring. 

A number of festivals in different major religions are being celebrated as well starting on yesterday’s New moon. It is the Jewish New Year 5778 years. It also coincides with Islamic New Year which is rare. To all my family friends and clients Happy New Year.

Happy MABON Wiccan Pagan Celtic Ancient 8 wheel of the year turning point. The third major season in a Natural Year starts with Spring. This is the element of AIR, detachment, communications-while Mercury is Retrograde at 0 degrees LIBRA conjunct the SUN a few hours after Equinox/

It’s LIBRA TIME. This is one of the Major Cardinal turning points of the year. 

LIBRA is the sign of RELATIONSHIPS marriage traditionally. It is the sign of Karmic JUSTICE in the TAROT #8 begins the next three months journey. 

It’s very important to focus on walking a balanced life in all ways: in our spiritual mental emotional and physical ways. this is MABON, in Celtic nature celebrations. A great time to honor this change in seasons with a ceremony. Create an altar and put fruits and leaves as gratitude. Use fall colors and say prayers and intentions for what you will create over the next quarter.

What was born at spring as a seed, an idea, has grown to fruition, seeded itself again and is ready to be harvested and then die to be returned to the earth for renewal, to feed new life next Spring, and on and on. Think about where you were 6 months ago. What has transpired in your life?

This is a very powerful positive, emotional nurturing loving aspect. JUST IN TIME. what with the hate from the White supremacists marching in America and the protests from the Left against Fascism.

Is beauty and love and equal relationships and justice for all.  We all want and need that. We are all seeking that. Look at how the lack of respect for women home food children our ancestors and inequality between all humans has brought us to this.

JUPITER expands whatever it touches. The big guy has been traveling through Libra since 2016. Jupiter seems to have tipped the scales of balance and justice so that we can see that there is a huge imbalance in America and the rest of the world. Oppositions of light and dark; rich and poor; superiors and sex slaves; men and women; refugees and oppressors; anti-abortion and pro-abortion. 

Jupiter rules the sign of Sagittarius and Pisces traditionally. Jupiter is the great law giver the judge. He symbolizes justice and in Libra, he is very empowered. This square at 19+ degrees CARDINAL can be very expansive allowing us to go deeper into our own roots; our own sense of what we need to help us feel balanced and emotionally secure.

The White Supremacists are very insecure and feel they need guns. They are greedy and threatened by anyone different than them. They were shouting “our streets”. They are coming from a scared limited and hateful place. The KKK white supremacist Neo-Nazi’s are dangerous. They need to be stopped in their tracks. The Antifascists need to be there to stand up to and protest peacefully.

At this time of great strife and imbalance. We must more than ever find boundaries and openness in equal measure. True justice; where each side acknowledges the others rights is what we need.

For those of who have planets in ARIES, CANCER, LIBRA and CAPRICORN  between 14-24 degrees of these signs you are impacted the most. You may feel more out of balance right now or more emotionally sensitive to what is going on.  Do what you need to bring yourself to balance; meditate rest reflect.

Jupiter is pressuring the media and the collective Unconscious which PLUTO symbolizes to come out with the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. 

PLUTO, the great destroyer, the garbage man, the soul destroyer and resurrector, ruler of the PLUTOCRACY, the ultra-rich, 1% elite, and  sex, power, money, secrets are being outed now, is doing his best to bring down the PLUTOCRACY aided by a very unusual { URANIAN-ERIS} President of the U.S.  and BREXIT. Starting MArch 29. Right on time. Pluto is cleverly disguised as WIKILEAKS and Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. 

If you don’t believe PIZZAGATE you better. It is well known that these elites sell women, children and use them as slaves. The Democrats, Royalty, ‘respected people” are all parts of this. Whether you think they are Reptilians or just simply Republicans it doesn’t matter.  

The little people, we are just chattel, cattle, slaves, worker ants, and bees. We don’t count. But the people are waking up. JUPITER is THOR and ZEUS wielding thunderbolts and I would definitely start calling upon them to shoot those bolts at the Federal Reserve and the Bilderbergers and the Oligarchs. 

Jupiter in LIBRA is governed by VENUS who is RETROGRADE right now in ARIES, so stuff from the past is being brought to light right now. Issues in courts will be delayed. Pluto is governed by SATURN who is now at the GALACTIC CENTER getting his working orders from deep cosmic space. Saturn in SAGITTARIUS rules free speech, publications, education, the elderly, foreigners, the military, immigrants, traveling. You can see that all of these topics are pretty hot these days- Fake News, Trump refusing to talk to CNN, but Fox makes shit up too.

Saturn is the LAW, the FBI the CIA the TAX department. You can see it being played out by TRUMP and the CIA FBI and Justice department. 

There are huge power battles going on. The secret government, the corporate cabal did not want Trump as President. Trump as much as I don’t like his ultra-conservative views, Trump is an independent renegade and Not a Republican, and he would be shot already if not for Pence as his beard. No one wants Pence the Military ultra-right wing hater as President. 

The shit will get deeper and higher. The dark forces of the PLUTOCRACY will not give up their power easily. They have spies everywhere and are invested heavily in all levels.  When JUPITER enters SCORPIO OCTOBER 10 for the next year the real dirt, sex scandals, power, and control issues will be duking it out. PLUTO rules SCORPIO and the two will be sextiling each other. Remember that SATURN will also enter CAPRICORN at the end of this year. 

On a personal level, you need to be able to BRING balance into your own life and relationships.  While JUPITER is RETROGRADE review what needs to be balanced, what you need in relationships, how you want to speak your truth in the world.  While VENUS is RETROGRADEtill April 15 reconsider your love life, your feminine energy, yor money situation. How much do you need?

12/22 Inspiration Astrology

The Moon is in lovely LIBRA today and we are striving for that much-needed balance. The Solstice turning point is a major still point in the year the Sun will appear to stand still for three days. 

The Mood is very festive and sociable. Good for partying and family get-togethers and romantic times.

LIBRA is the scales of Justice and in Germany the populace wants Merkle to resign and they want to get all the refugee, and suspected Jihadists, and children that ISIS has programmed out of Europe. The sad deaths in Germany have further fueled Donald Trump to start the registry and get suspected Muslim terrorists or sympathizers out of America. The world is going to go into lock down mode.

Grand Cardinal Cross energy is stirred up by the Moon squaring Retrograde Mercury and Pluto in the wee hours then opposed to Jupiter in LIBRA in the afternoon and then Opposing Uranus about an hour later. 

These are very tense times we are in. I am sending blessings to those killed in Germany and the Russian Ambassador as well. Aleppo seems to be evacuated now. Finally. 

This is the darkest time of the year in the north and many people feel depressed and lonely. 

There is a lovely air trine from Libra Moon to VENUS in AQUARIUS asking us all to be generous and to share. This is also good for GEMINI peeps.

Moon sextiles Saturn in Sagittarius which is good if you are traveling. Just remember Mercury Retrograde wreaks havoc on travel plans, lost baggage, delays in flights, communications, and all the rest. 

Moon opposes URANUS and goes VOID OF COURSE until the 23rd at 6:32 am PST/9:32 am ES/.2:32 pm GMT.

Use this void of moon time to take care of mundane things. Many people may still be running around shopping and taking care of last minute details myself included.

Jupiter in Libra,relationships, equality, justice

JUPITER the planet of expansion and optimism enters LIBRA, an AIR element sign of Karmic JUSTICE, relationships and balance for the first time in 12 years. The largest planet will remain in the sign of peace and love for 13 months until October 10, 2017. 

JUPITER activates and crosses one of the main CARDINAL points of Zero degrees of LIBRA. Jupiter will conjunct the SUPER GALACTIC CENTER shortly afterwards. This massive massive black hole is a source and center of  gravitational pull for a number of GALAXIES. JUPITER esoterically is the planet of the Higher master teachers. This will be an amazing opportunity to GALACTICALLY synchronize with the highest spiritual wisdom. symbolized by the WHEEL OF FORTUNE in the TAROT. The Wheel of KARMA itself. 

 JUPITER’s connection to travel, higher education, faith, justice, optimism, humor, risk-taking, honesty and trust will be seen though the LIBRAN lens of social networking and keeping things harmonious and NICE.

 LIBRA is the 7^th sign and begins the journey of differentiating a self, which the first six signs deal with, from an “other.” LIBRA is one of the few signs without an animal or human projected onto it. The ZODIAC is based on zoology.  

The Egyptian Goddess Maat’s scales of karmic justice were most likely one of the original symbols of this constellation, although it contains stars of the constellation of Scorpio.

 LIBRA is ruled by the planet VENUS. It is her masculine side/sign. Libra loves to think about relationships, talk about them, analyze them. Loves beauty and fashion and to network like crazy.

 Jupiter was last in Libra in: 2004-05, 1992-93,  1980-81,  1969-70,  1957-58,  1945-46,  1933-34,  1921-22,  1909-10. 

 It’s all about the balance between self and others. JUPITER expands LIBRA’s positive and negative qualities.

 The LIBRA positive side:

True equality between men and women, all races and peoples. The ability to love and be loved, fairness, true impartial justice, maintaining a balance of opposities, a psychological and real ability. Beauty as a mainstay in culture, fare treatment, peace makers, valuing the arts and artists, non-hierarchical, balancing karma with dharma.

 The LIBRA shadow or dark side

Injustice, selfishness, war mongers, psychopaths, superficiality, inability to make decisions, imbalance, blindness, superiority, inability to relate to others, hatred, tipping the balance in favor of those with the most power or money. Opinionated, doesn’t listen to others needs or wants.

 Let’s look back at events that happened while Jupiter transited the sign of holding the balance to find peace, justice, beauty, love and karma.

 2004-2005

Facebook was created changing everyone’s connectivity on the planet. The EU expanded. Hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana. You Tube was created in 2005.

 Many of these years jump out at us as Iconic years. 

 1992-93

Bill Clinton became President. Clinton repealed the Glass- Steagall Act which was created in 1933 which after the Great Depression to separate traditional commercial and retail banking from higher risk investments and trading activities used by investment banks.  This started the mega-mergers in banking and other industries paving the way for high-risk, bad mortgage and investments and the 2008 Global economic crash. This repeal allows big banks and corporations to take all kinds of risks because they cannot lose. The tax payers paid for their bailouts. It is so sick. Donald Trump wants to repeal it. Perhaps this round of Jupiter in Libra will end or expand this. The balance between the 99% and the 1% tries to even out to 50-50 which has never even existed before.

 1980-81

Reaganomics and Globalization began. Interest rates hit a high of 20% in 1981. Prince Charles and Lady Diana marry. MTV begins changing modern music and its promotion. IBM launches its original PC. The First heart-lung transplant. First cases of AIDS reported. Iran hostages released.

 1969-1970

The famous Summer of Love, hippies, sex, drugs and rock and roll, Eastern philosophy, and mysticism, an ecology movement begins with the first Earth Day. kids are running away to Haight-Ashbury  in San Francisco. Woodstock and the aftermath of the Rolling Stone’s Altamont’s murder.  The very first Internet transmission based on the ARPANET was created on October 29, 1969 at 10:30 pm and was a communication between UCLA and the Stanford Research Institute.

 1957-58

Integration of blacks and whites in schools ir ordered by the U.S. Supreme Court. The space program began with the launching of Sputnik. NASA was created July 1958. Interesting that NASA’s Juno probe is now up close and personal with JUPITER in the 5th cycle from that birth. The Suburbs boomed and the  U.S. economy skyrocketed in a post-war baby boom. First trans-Atlantic jet passenger service by BOAC. Breakfast at Tiffany’s written by Truman Capote is published. On the Road by Jack Kerouac the first beat novel is published. The Subterraneans and The Dharma Bums published in 1958. The top pop song of 1957 is All Shook Up by Elvis Presley. My aunt brought home this record.It is one of my earliest memories along with Little Darlin’ by The Diamonds which my Dad adored and he used to sing to me. 

 1945-46

The end of world war II and the birth of the United Nations. The first bikini went on sale in 1946. The First Cannes Film Festival was held.  Tupperware was invented.  The MENSA society was formed. The International War Crimes Trials sentences Nazi’s to death. The first car phones were announced. The first microwave oven was invented. 

 1933-34.

Nineteen thirty-three was the worst year of the Depression, unemployment in the U.S. hit over 25%. Hitler became Chancellor of Germany and opened the first concentration camp at Dachau.  He became dictator or Fuhrer in 1934. Volkswagon was created. There was Prohibition in the U.S. The first machine gun was demonstrated  in Japan. Albert Einstein moved to the U.S. to begin teaching theoretical physics at Princeton. The very first drive-in movie. The game of Monopoly is invented. Shirley Temple signed a film contract at 5 years old.  Chairman Mao began his Long March in 1934. Dictator Joseph Stalin came to power in Russia. Dictatorships established in Brazil and Bolivia.

 1921-22

The Communist Party of China is created in 1921.Russia is created in 1922. Mussolini forms fascist Government in Italy. Ireland was partitioned into North and South. Egypt declares Independence from Britain. Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern secular Turkey overthrows the last Sultan.  King Tut’s Tomb is unearthed in Egypt by Howard Carter in 1922. Insulin was used for the first time by Canadian Doctors Banting and Best.  James Joyce’s Ulysses is published. Vitamins D and E are discovered.  The word robot enters the English language. 

 1909-1910

The North Pole is reached by Robert Peary. The N.A.A.C. P. is founded in the U.S. A cure for syphilis is discovered. Serge Diaghilev creates his Ballets Russes beginning the era of modern ballet in Russia.  Marconi and Braun win the Nobel Prize for the development of the wireless radio transmitter. Joan of Arc is made a saint. First airline flight across the English Channel. ORVILLE Wright tests the first Army airplane.  The South African union is created in 1910. The Mexican revolution begins. Haley’s comet is observed with photography for the first time. Edison makes talking movies a reality. 

 Contrary to what you would think, history shows that JUPITER IN LIBRA is not about peace and balance at all but shows a huge spike in dictatorships.

“If you cannot remember or learn from History you are condemned to repeat it.” Let’s hope we really bring on the peace justice love and balance to the earth and to all peoples.

KARMIC JUSTICE LIBRA LUNAR ECLIPSE March 23, 2016 MEDITATION

The second eclipse of the year is a North Nodal penumbral Lunar Eclipse @ 3+ degrees LIBRA, the sign of Justice, karma and balance. We certainly need this to bring balance into our own lives, relationships and to karmically adjust the crazy shenanigans happening everywhere in the world. We need to find the balance between the opposites.

This is a FULL MOON in LIBRA invoking the ARIES/LIBRA, “I” Thou , relationship axis, of self and other. Lunar eclipses brings us new emotional cycles and insightful, intuitive and often psychic revelations in relationships, communications, creativity and values. 

This eclipse helps us to see just how out of balance we are and how important karmic choices must be made now. We have to create a  balance of masculine and feminine energies, a SACRED ALCHEMY, the sacred MARRIAGE, within ourselves and in the world. Recently elected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appointed the first equal male and female cabinet ministers in the world. When asked why, he simple answered “Because it’s 2015.”  Enough said.

This eclipse will reactive last years’ September 27 total lunar eclipse at 4+ degrees ARIES. Think back on what has transpired in your life over these last six months.

LIBRA is ruled by VENUS and she is now in Pisces where she is exalted. Venus is especially powerful as she is conjunct to NEPTUNE her “higher octave.” They are blessings us with spiritual, dreamy, out of this world cosmic Bliss. Tantric sexuality, knowing the Beloved, cosmic orgasms and uniting with soul mates is the hallmark for Lovers under this eclipse energy. You can also experience this if you are solo simply through breathing and meditations.

Lunar eclipses stir up the electro-magnetic fields, unconscious feelings and emotions. It also amplifies our dreams, so do pay attention to your dreams. This eclipse also increases fertility aspects. If you are trying to conceive a baby or a creative project, use this energy to help you. Check out where 3 degrees Libra falls in your natal chart.

The Sun is conjunct Mercury eight hours after the eclipse. A clear sign of the need to communicate in new {Aries} ways. This bodes well for new relationships or agreements created around this time.

LIBRA is ruled by VENUS and she is still very tightly connected to her Higher Mate Neptune in PISCES. We are under this benevolent, romantic, creative very spiritual, uplifting, compassionate aspect since Equinox 3 days earlier. 

Mars, where the action always is, sextiles the Moon and EROS, at 3 degrees AQUARIUS,indicating some hot dates. Mars also Trines the Sun from fiery Sagittarius. Mars in Sagittarius is a Truth warrior, a philosopher and fighter for justice. This is all good stuff.

JUPITER is conjunct the NORTH NODE and leading us onwards to expansion, faith, optimism, humility, hard work, learning about the environment, our health and work needs. Jupiter is in a TIGHT square {90 degrees} to Saturn about to turn RETROGRADE {16 degrees Sagittarius}  on the 25th on Good FRIDAY, and digging his heals in the tightest as the planet is barely moving. 

JUPITER and SATURN are in a wide opposition and square to NEPTUNE and VENUS. Your love will be tested in the most practical of everyday detailed way. Money issues may be the make it or break it area, or spiritual beliefs or some hidden or not so hidden enemies, like in-laws.  The reality of what IS, very hard and cold is being revealed versus the big dream, illusion, projection of how perfect they are.

CHIRON the wounded healer and the SOUTH NODE of the MOON and GREAT MOTHER CERES are conjunct indicating a karmic releasing of old, very old, karmic issues which we know are haunting us deep down in our souls and where we are the most afraid to go because that is where we are the most vulnerable and also the most healing of places.

These are ancient wounds around the Great Mother,  in all her glorious aspects who has been denied, suppressed, raped, tortured and ignored for thousands of years. This is a deep wound and every woman carries this as well as every man to. The soul is called the anima and is always considered feminine.  A man feels his mothers emotions in utero, so he knows deep down what the feminine feels. A man’s misogyny may stem from his own guilt and denying his own part in usurping the power of the Feminine. It is a huge defense.

LIBRA’s symbol is the ancient Egyptian Goddess MAAT’s golden scales of karmic justice. The Egyptian’s believed that after death, the human heart is weighed on the scales against Maat’s ostrich feather. If the heart is heavier than the feather, then the soul must return to earth to continue working on its’ emotional issues until cleared. Only when the heart is show to be as light as Maat’s feather and the scales are perfectly balanced, then the soul is considered freed of all karmic lessons.  This is the key symbol and one which we can always ask ourselves, How light is my heart in regards to this?

Lunar eclipses, like solar ones occur at similar degrees every 18+ years in what are called Saros cycles.  This is the 18th lunar eclipse in Saros cycle 142 which began on September 19, 1709 and which will end on November 17, 3007. 

The number 18 seems very powerful to me as a Tarot Astrology and Numerology symbol.

The #18 Arcana {Trump} in the Tarot is the symbol of The MOON. It is associated with Pisces and is the dark side of the moon, symbolizing our unconscious, our deepest darkest fears and karma. 

The number 18 in Hebrew, CHAI, means Life.  We can breathe, LIBRA, an AIR sign; new life into our relationships and into our understanding of our hopes and fears to bring more balance.

The Moon at 3 degrees LIBRA is conjunct to one of the most massive Black holes there is, in GALAXY-87 called ADONIS by astrologer Alex Miller-Mignone. This super sucker of all light and matter’s event horizon is 326 LIGHT YEARS across. That is staggering.  The short story of ADONIS the handsome youth who was born because of a magic spell from jealous Aphrodite/Venus and was eventually forced to split himself into being Persephone’s lover in Hades for part of the year and to spend part of his year with Venus on Mt. Olympus as her lover and part of his time alone.  

I find it fascinating that this Black Hole degree perfectly symbolizes where we are out of balance in our precious time for relationships and where it all gets sucked into these days.

Libra is an Air sign, the mind, it’s about communications after all. The net, our cell phones, sucks us into a Black Hole. They are useful tools but also keep us overextended like Adonis, running from one thing to the next frantically trying to appease others’ needs, our job, boss, partner, children with our own. We desperately need a middle more balanced way.

LIBRA is symbolized by the TAROT Trump #8 JUSTICE, also #11.

Justice’s color is emerald-green, relating it to the heart chakra and Archangel Raphael. Its sound is F#. The symbol means an ox goad. The Hebrew letter is lamed.

MEDITATION and RITUAL

For the ceremony and meditation we want to bring in as many attributes as we can.  Use what you have.

Minerals and Stones associated with Libra

Smoky quartz, rutilated quartz, Herkimer diamonds, Moonstones, emeralds, lapis, kunzite, coral.

Stones for Aries

Red garnets, bloodstones, carnelian, ruby, amber.

I would use watermelon tourmaline as it has both the green tourmaline for Libra and the red for Aries.

Set up an alter or sacred meditation space.

Use lots of smudge and incense for Cardinal AIR.

Coriander, rose, sweetgrass, sandalwood, and vanilla for LIBRA. Put on quiet meditation music. You can prerecord these instructions with pauses to listen to as you do the meditation.

Use white or green for Venus and red candles for Mars/Aries. The MOON’s color is silver. Use silver candle stick holder or put dimes, quarters or silver dollars on the alter and wear silver jewelry.

Libra rules the skin, small of the back and kidneys and adrenals. Cleansing and toning herbs are angelica, thyme, burdock and bearberry.  The Moon rules the breasts, the left eye, the lymph, bodily fluids and saliva, ovaries. If you have any problems with these areas bring them into your meditation, and use Reiki to amplify the healing energy.

Begin by smudging yourself first.  Light your candles.  One for each direction. Always move clockwise whatever tradition you use. I start in the East, other traditions start in the South.

Call in the four elements and the four direction into your sacred circle.

Call in the four Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, Ariel, Raphael in the same order..and yourself as one equal entity, half of the other. Muslims and Jews, Catholics and atheists, men and women, straights and gays.  See the wholeness of self and other as yin and yang, the polarity which is necessary for all of life. Feel the respect and the peace as each discovers how necessary and needed and loved the other is.

HEALING AND CLEANSING MAGIC

With your intentions, use the eclipsed moon’s light to cleanse and purify any residual conscious and unconscious memories, from past, future lives and present life karma which is keeping you from loving yourself completely. Ask to release any blocks and fears of intimacy which keep you from being in a committed relationship.

Take your time. Ask to bring yourself into a place of total harmony, peace and love, firmly rooted in the middle way or pillar of justice.

Sense your heart reborn anew, lighter, clearer in its original purity.

Now visualize your heart weighed against Maat’s ostrich feather and watch until your heart comes into a perfect balance with that white feather on her scales of justice. Stay with this energy.

Be in this as long as you need. Meditate and ask what you need to do now. At the end of your meditation always thank the elements and spirits and close your circle. Write down visions, feelings and questions.

meeting of doves, sun, justice bye bye Taurus

The Sun is conjunct to the Pleiades, the flock of doves, the famous seven weeping sisters, the beginning of the ancient calendars at the critical 29 degrees+ Taurus was once the Spring Equinox zero point, many thousands of years ago.

According to Plotinus: These stars help seekers become consciously aware of Divine Knowledge and Wisdom, which is why their etheric, astral and mental bodies must be purified before being able to integrate with that spiritual realm. 

 They are considered to be the home of our ancestors according to  many Native American legends. The Hopi, Cherokee and some other tribes, suggests their people came from the Pleiades. Don Alejandro Wandering Wolf of Guatemala, claims to have access to relics originally from the Pleiades containing secrets about reincarnation. Many people channel entities from these stars. The Japanese car Subaru means the Pleiades.

They are one of very few star signs mentioned in the Judeo-Christian Bible. Hinduism associates them with the enlightened beings who brought the sacred verses of the Vedas to humans. The Mayans are said to originate form this constellation as their Mayan name means  “begetters.” 

In esoteric astrology Djwhal Khul and Alice A. Bailey says that the Pleiades are one of three stellar configurations that animate our solar system through seven rays of energy.

The legends of these stars are not always happy or positive ones.The Persians who were great astrologers and mathematicians called the month of November when these stars rise Mordad, or “Angel of Death.”

We are saying good-be to a month of Taurus immersion and getting ready to bifurcate into Gemini May 21. A day to meditate on the beautiful 7 stars with Alcyone symbolizing all the Pleiades. 

The Sun and Pleiades also meet up with Asteroid Astrea whose name means STAR-MAIDEN. She was a daughter of Zeus and Themis and she symbolizes Justice. She is an Immortal, and she was one of the most well-respected and highly esteemed goddesses of the Greek and Roman world. Astrea is the goddess of justice. 

She was the virgin goddess of Innocence and purity also called Dike.  Don’t confuse her with Asteria the goddess of the stars.

Astraea, the celestial virgin, was the last of the immortals to live with humans during the Golden Age, of antiquity. According to Ovid, Astraea abandoned the earth during the Iron Age. Fleeing from the new wickedness of humanity, she ascended to heaven to become the Constellation Virgo. The nearby constellation Libra reflected her symbolic association with Dike who in Latin culture as Justitia is said to preside over the constellation.

In the Tarot the 8th card, Justice, shows the figure of Justitia, and can be considered related to the figure of Astraea on historical iconographic grounds.

According to legend, Astraea will one day come back to Earth, bringing with her the return of the utopian Golden Age of which she was the ambassador.

I thought this was all highly symbolic. The SUN brings Light, it is the Source, it is Golden conjunct to our sacred ancesters from the stars and Astrea a symbol of the return of the Golden Age.  Focus on your own inner purity, justice, balance and Light.

Meditate with the STAR MAIDEN ask Astrea to come and guide you. I will be doing so.
