Mercury conjunct Vesta, Sacred Priestess of sex

Mercury Retrograde is in an exact conjunction May 1st with Vesta, the sacred Goddess of light, fire and sexuality. Mercury is re-joining in TANTRIC union with the Goddess of sacred sexuality and focus on at 23 degrees TAURUS.

How appropriate.  May Day is the Day of celebration of sexuality as sacred, sexuality as Divine Union, sexuality as the main spiritual component in human lives. That is why the Catholic Church created this false celibacy, and warning of the “sins of the flesh” and blaming women as Temptresses. They knew that sex was the immanent direct route to experience oneness, divine bliss, and ecstasy and they wanted to control the most powerful and natural of instincts to control the people. A pretty scary and CRAZY idea. 

Vesta or Hestia in the Roman mythology was the very first Goddess, she rules the hearth and Temple flames, the central focus of all cultural life.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus is a backslide into sensuality and fleshy knowledge. We need to taste the sweet, the salty, the spicy. We need to re-awaken our senses for being awake in the world. 

WHO WERE THE VESTAL “VIRGINS”?

In ancient times all women served as Sacred High Priestesses of the Goddess in her Temples. In Ancient Greece all unmarried women had to spend a year in service as a tantric priestess before being able to marry. The term Virgin originally meant “whole and complete, belonging to no one, or to no man.” An autonomous woman. 

These sacred Vestal High Priestesses initiated men into divine union with the Goddess. All women became the Divine Goddess, through ritual, prayer, fasting, chanting, dedication, intention, dancing, meditation practices and anointing themselves with perfumes, and partaking of psychotropic mushrooms and plants they experienced themselves as the Divine Feminine, the Divine Goddess and Mother. They became HER.  They were called Divine Hierodules, like the term Hierophant, or High Priest. Another name was the houris, from which the modern word hours is derived and the sacred Hebrew dance, the hora. 

VESTA is the ARCHETYPE of the HIGH PRIESTESS 

I remember many past lives lived as a Vestal and many other types of Goddess worshipping High Priestesses. 

The VESTAL “virgins” served as sexual healers to men who had PTSD from being in War. These men would not be allowed to reintegrate into normal, stable society until they had had the profane bloodshed of war washed away from them by having sacred intercourse with a bleeding Priestess, thus exchanging the Blood of War for the Blood of Life. These women became the Divine Goddess, through ritual, prayer, fasting, chanting, dedication, intention, dancing and anointing themselves with perfumes, and partaking of psychotropic mushrooms and plants they experienced themselves as the Divine Feminine, the Divine Goddess and Mother. They became HER. 

I love the SYNCHRONICITY of this. Mercury , the messenger, the hermaphrodite god, the two lobes of our brains, in Retrograde is bringing back our bodily memories of participation into the Great Mystique of life on this day as Sacred. We all remember participating in these types of rituals. We have been alive in every form and in every culture and time. We know this in our cells. 

I remember many past lives lived as a HIGH PRIESTESS in any different ages and temples. I have had these memories since I was about 6 years old. I had no knowledge of this from the time period I grew up in. I trusted what I felt, saw and knew. This knowledge came bursting forth in a Grade 11 Art History class, in visiting many sacred sites Stonehenge, Ephesus in Turkey, sailing on the Mediterranean near Crete when I was 17 and many more times in Holotropic Breathworks and other spontaneous visions. 

Celebrate this great coming together of the Messenger and the VIRGIN ever renewing Goddess by practicing tantric firebreathing.Celebrate your beloved. Praise new life.

St. Brigid’s Day THE QUICKENING Candlemas Imbolc Groundhog Day

Feb. 1st –2nd Traditional Irish and Pagan Holiday Celebrations

Feb. 1st is the beginning of the FIRST FIRE of the SUN’s return, the spark, the First sign of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This Ancient pagan, Celtic ,Wiccan, celebration is also called The QUICKENING.

Known as Saint Brigid’s Day, Birghita or Bride’s Day, it’s both a Catholic and Pagan Celebration of an ancient Goddess tradition. Imbolc is still celebrated by Wiccans/Pagan based Earth honouring religions. Christians overlaid the Ancient Goddess worshipers’ holiday renaming it Candlemas or the fest of the Purification of the Virgin on Feb 2.

This celebration is the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. It is a “cross-quarter” day in the 8 rounds of the Wheel of Time in the Solar based year. The Celtic Year was based on both lunar and solar cycles, it is most likely the holiday would be celebrated on the Full Moon nearest those 2 midpoints, when early spring flowers would begin to rise up through the snow, and snakes would come out of the ground.
In non secular terms it become GROUDHOG DAY on Feb 2. Snakes are always sacred Goddess symbols.

SACRED

That Ancient peoples of Ireland kept this day as very sacred. At the Megalithic and Neolithic sites, such as the Loughcrew burial mounds and the Mound of the Hostages in Tara, Ireland, the inner chambers of the passage tombs are perfectly aligned with the rising sun of both Imbolc and Samhain attesting to the value placed on this day.

Triple Goddess/Saint Brigid/Bride

She is according to Robert Graves, the most Ancient Triple Goddess worshipped since time out of mind. The Goddess rules over scholars and poets. She is the Goddess of fire and inspirations in Ireland, the Goddess of poetry, creativity, smithcraft and healing. She also rules healing with water, and divination. She is said to rule over people who work with cows and chickens, brewers, fugitives, midwives, infants, printers, sailors, travelers, New Zealand, & Irish nuns. This day symbolizes a time of transitions, initiations, new beginnings, of planting seeds that will sprout later. Brigid/Birgita represents the light half of the year, Her power brings the people out of the dark season of winter into spring, so, it is a very important time of the year.

The Goddess Brigid and Saint Brigid are the same being in two forms, peace makers and bridges. The matronly Goddess Brigid bridged the two warring races of gods of the ancient Tuatha de Danann with her sacred marriage, and Saint Brigid was the bridge between the Druids and the Christians. Brigid was the daughter of a Druid Chieftain and the first woman bishop of Ireland. The nuns of Kildare carry on the sacred work.

Originally the return of the Light was celebrated  as Sacred Sexual customs, sacred Tantric Kundalini rising.

She is the Goddess of Augury PROPHETS

In the Druidic tradition, poetry and augury were associated. She is patron of prophets and seers.

Celtic seers divined by looking into deep water and into flames. This is a great time to do divination.

Triple Goddess

She has two sisters with the same name. One aspect of her carries a blacksmith tongs and a sword, because she is also patroness of war; another aspect holds 2 healing snakes, from which the modern Doctor’s symbol is derived, the caduceus, the third aspect carries a wand with a crescent moon and a tablet.

Elements

Brigid rules the Waters. Many healing springs are dedicated to Brigid. Natural bodies of water also signify Her presence, particularly where three streams joined together. She also rules Fire, so it is customary to make candles for the coming year and bless them on this day.

Protecting Goddess

In her aspect as Brigantia, she carries a spear, an orb of victory, and wears a war crown. She symbolizes protection of the country from invaders and slavery.

Midwives

As Patroness of MIDWIVES, she was invoked at the door of the home where the woman was giving birth, by the midwife. Who speke:

“Bride, Bride, come in! Thy welcome is truly made, Give thou relief to the woman, And give thou the conception to the Trinity.”

Brigid is the guardian of every newborn, their cradles protected with a woven Brigit’s Cross, an equal armed cross. Upon a safe delivery, the infant was blessed or “sained” by the midwife, with 3 drops of water on the child’s forehead, dedicating the Child to the Triple Goddess. The “Holy Trinity” in its modernized Christian aspect, was just an overlay of the Goddess Triple Aspect since time out of memory. A candle was carried ‘round the bed sun wise three times. As Brigid is a Solar Goddess. We think of the Sun as masculine but originally all aspects of the Universe were considered Feminine.

Brigid Ruler of the Hearth

Especially in Gaelic Scotland, Brigid’s dolls are placed near the hearth on her Feast Day. The doll is usually dressed in white, decorated. A white wand is placed in her bed as a fertility charm. As she is patroness of agriculture, pastures, livestock, and abundance. An offering is made to her of dairy products. The Brigid doll is kept throughout the year near the hearth hung on a wall, or by a door, as a talisman of protection, then burnt the next year.

Light a Candle and Invoke the Goddess at this time-

One folk tradition still continues in both Christian and Pagan homes on St. Brigid’s Day is that of St. Brigid’s Bed. Girls and young unmarried women create corn dollies to represent Brigid, these are adorned with ribbons, baubles shells or stones. A bed is made for the doll to lie in. On St. Brigid’s Eve Jan 31, the girls gather together in one house and stay up all night with the doll, are are later visited by all the young men, who ask permission to enter the home, and then treat the young maidens and the dolly with respect. The next day the girls carry the doll through the neighbourhood from house to house, where she is welcomed with great honour. Adult women stay home to welcome the Brigid procession and offer snacks and coins to the young girls and maidens.

Brigid is said to walk the earth on Imbolc eve. Feb 1st. Before going to bed, each member of the household may leave a piece of clothing or strip of fabric outside for Brigid to bless. The cloth are brought inside the next morning, believed to now have the powers of healing and protection.

BRIGID is alive and well.

The name “Britain” is a derivation of Brigit’s name. Britain was named for an ancient Celtic tribe, the Brigantes, who were the largest Celtic tribe in the country in pre-Roman times who worshipped Her as their Deity. The word “brigand” comes from this tribe of fierce warriors. Her symbol is a flaming spear. Her worship spread, leaving behind places named in Her honour-Brittany in France, Brechin in Scotland, the name Brent, in England, any name containing Bride. Britain’s symbol, the Goddess Brigantia, still found on their 50 cent coin is Brigid in her aspect as Goddess of the Land.  Of course Britany Spears is carrying the modern archetype of Brigid, and strangely enough one of Brigid’s symbols is a flaming spear!

Are you superstitious? Do you get all nervous because it’s Friday the 13th?

Do you freak out when black cats cross your path? 

Friday the 13 in a 13 year. Twice as UNLUCKY?

The Number 13 which we normally thought of as bad luck was a relatively new idea instigated when the Catholic Church  tried to demolish and demote anything remotely connected to paganism, wicca, the Ancient Goddess nature worshipping spirituality.

The # 13 is simply the number of LUNAR MONTHS in a year. In China and Japan, Muslim, Jewish and in Mayan spiritual and Native American counts, the ancient lunar calendar’s are still observed and followed.  

13 is a natural rhythm, if we also lived by the lunar calendar the entire Western culture would be much more harmonious. Especially for women. I vote to reinstate a Lunar Calendar and get rid of this artificial Gregorian calendar. 

Women were once considered to be the Moon incarnate, magical, mystical  and totally connected to nature. Women’s bodies are in synch with the Moon’s lunar influences as are the ocean’s tides. Therefore the fear of women’s bodies, sexuality and bleeding  was created by the Christian church who also created what we think of as the Devil and  “witches.” The Church persecuted and tortured over 9 million,yes you nine million, mainly herbalists, mid-wives and other simple people who lived simply close to nature for over 300 years is a total brainwashing campaign and made the # 13 seem negative or scary.

So no fear of the # 13. In fact celebrate it, It carries magically potent Goddess energy.

Double 13 is a sign of double blessings.

It’s time for all witches to “COME OUT.” Yes its become “trendy” because of Harry Potter. I know that J.K. Rowling  channelled Harry Potter. I believe that was  past life memory which she, as a writer, altered her innate knowledge for a modern teen audience. That’s why it started this huge resurgence. There are 9 million of you who are alive now who remember honoring the Goddess, the Divine Feminine and being tortured in the most cruel way because of your devotion. Yes you do know it deep down. Reclaim your ancient love of the Goddess, The Earth, Nature and the Moon.

YEs I know it looks very complex

RARE 6 pointed star formation Merkaba on this AQUARIUS FULL MOON

This AQUARIUS FULL MOON is full of TAROT symbolism as well as planetary Merkaba formation, and on Pagan holiday LAMMAS, very  potent synchronous signs.

 The symbol for the sign of Aquarius in the 22 MAJOR TRUMPS of the TAROT is called the STAR.

I had looked at the chart and saw that there appeared two GRAND TRINES in FIRE  and AIR signs forming a rare 6 pointed star formation. Popularly known as a  JEWISH STAR, seen as the symbol of Israel, it is a symbol of the as above so below, Hermetic maxim. IT is also the symbol  of spiritual realization. The 6 pointed interlocking star is known of in Buddhist, Theosophical, Hindu and other world religions as a powerful symbol.

The 6 pointed star is the symbol of the number 6 TRUMP card in the MAjor Arcana, The LOVERS in the TAROT.

The formation in 3-d is also known as a MERKABA a spiritual energetic and meditation vehicle for elevating the soul to other dimensions. The Merkaba is also a CHARIOT, the symbol # 7 in the TAROT. Spiritual teacher Drunvalo Melchizedek speaks about learning to master the Merkaba ascension vehicle in meditations.

August 1 is known as LAMMAS in the wiccan/pagan calendar of the 8 rounds of the wheel of the year

Lughnasad is its other name. We are half way to the AUTUMN Equinox now. It is traditionally celebrated as the wake of the Sun KING, who is dying now in the waning of his own Light. cookie people figures and star cookies are baked in celebration.  It is time of anxious waiting, we are not yet assured of a harvest which will keep the people alive. It is  a time to free oneself from FEAR.  A snake dance is created going counter clock wise, bread figures are thrown into the bonfire to symbolize the burning up of one’s fears. Then one says what one hopes to harvest. Symbols of STARS are held up. The High Priestess would say,

MAY THE STAR OF HOPE BE WITHIN US ALWAYS.

The coveners would eat the star cookies and celebrate.

So i found it highly synchronistic to find the rare 6 pointed star formation in the aspects of the Full MOON/Lammas chart.

The 6 pointed Star is formed from The Moon at 10 degrees+ Aquarius, trine to Jupiter at 10 degrees+ of GEMINI trine to Mars at 16 degrees+of LIBRA. Yes i know it is officially over by one degree to qualify as an official TRINE angle of 5 degrees but the Moon is involved enlarging the specifics. I feelit is too powerful a sign to overlook. 

The Fiery GRAND TRINE is formed by the NOrth NOde at 2 degrees of Sagittarius, trine Uranus at 8 degrees Retrograde of Aries, {you could also include Asteroid Athena at 11 degrees of Aries} to the Sun at 10 degrees of Leo and includes Mercury Retrograde at 3 degrees of LEO.

Because both the SUN and the MOON  are involved the Trine angles are enlarged.

This is a very auspicious symbol. The lasts major Merkaba formations were way back in 2004 I believe.

This one is composed of 6 planets and the North Node.

The formation isnt visible in the sky but only when the geometric angles are seen on paper as below.

That’s a lot of fire and air power.

Aquarius wants us to leave the old outmoded laws, structures, belief systems  behind, notably Saturn at 23 degrees of Libra is not involve in the configuration. Although Venus at 25 degree of GEMINI is conjunct the NORTH STAR Polaris and trine to Saturn.

All over the world we are seeing the inflamed effects of the Uranus Pluto squares which have been active since 2011 in Egypt, Tunisia, in Syria still Iran and other places. The Age of Aquarius has just begun.. the next Uranus Pluto exact squares are September 19 at 6 degrees 57 minutes of Aries and Capricorn.

Merkaba Meditation

The effects of the Full MOON last till the next New Moon which will be in LEO on AUGust 17th

All full moon’s are time of completion. A time to be thankful. Sit in MEdiation and breathe deeply as the Full Moon is exact.

It’s at 8:28 pm PDT and tomorrow August 2nd at 3:28 am GMT. or do your best.

 The point is to tune in and use the ancient Lammas day celebration energy as well.

 Follow your breath in slow deep natural inbreaths through your nose, holding gently for a few seconds then breathing out through your mouth. Continue this for a few minutes until you sink deeper into relaxation.

Breathe through the bottom of your spine slowly opening the root chakra, then the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 7th crown chakras.

Below you at the iron ore core of the earth imagine growing deep roots out of the bottom of your spine to that molten iron core deep within the heart flame of Mother earth. Send your intention down there first to anchor and ground yourself.

Above you there is an 8th chakra of golden light about a foot or two above the crown. After you connect with the root chakra in the earth bring up your attention through the root chakra and up the main channel and out the top of your head to this golden orb. Once you feel connected to the golden orb send your intention out further to the 9th chakra that is connected to the ALL THAT IS or AIN SOPH AUR.

Your intention is enough to take you there.

Then as you sit peacefully and centered ask your higher guides to build the Merkaba chamber around you in imperishable golden indigo light.

 See the merkabah form around you. the Triangle forming with its apex directly above your head  is a 3 Dimensional formation you are visualizing that you are sitting in a pyramid made of Golden- Indigo light.

Then imagine the 2nd triangle forming with the lower point below you root chakra in space below the earth, and the top flat horizon parallel to what you would normally consider a flat horizon to be but it is miles above you in the sky.

This becomes a 3 Dimensional formation comprised of the 2 interlocking golden -indigo radiating pyramids.

This is a space-time travel vehicle. Once you can really sense, or see or feel the Merkaba around you , you can travel anywhere you wish to go.

Th6si is a wishing star vehicle.

Make 10 wishes on the Full Moon. call upon your Guardian Angels to help you and go wherever your higher self deems necessary or choose for yourself.

Take as long a  journey as you wish, and remember to send some love and good will to  help other who are struggling.

when you feel ready, pull in your breath sharply , tuck your chin into your neck.

Give thanks for all the wonderful Light beings,helpers animals, ancestors, fairies, people you know or whoever  came to meet you.

See yourself arise from the Merkaba and shrink it so that it s very tiny and place it inside your heart.

 From this time forward you can always take out your merkaba and use it to travel safely wherever you wish to go.

May 1 May Day Beltane fire sex fertility earthy pagan celebration Astrology from Tara Greene

May Day is the ancient pagan Beltane fire celebration of the Maypole Dance  the phallic dance of  fertility. Beltane fires are lit atop hilltops.

Revelers intertwine ribbons and dance around the MayPole. Traditionally masked young men and women would meet as strangers in the night, to mate,on the earth, in the bonfire shadows, to surrender to the natural desires of Spring,budding life and new passion running in their veins. Children conceived at Beltane were considered sacred and special and born around St. Brigid’s day, also a Fiery Goddess.

 

 We are moving with the round of the year, May 1st marks the cross-quarter, half- way point between Spring and Summer Solstice now. The days are lengthening in the Northern hemisphere. Conversely, pagans are celebrating Halloween or Samhain down under, the Witches New year. It is the Day of the Dead in the southern Hemisphere and the fire festival of renewed life in the northern half.

Go with the flow, the natural flow or CHI  of earth energy. Celebrate the renewed life force. You don’t have to be pagan to commune with the masculine life force rising.

Different traditions associate different elements to different directions depending on where they live geographically. May seem confusing but it makes sense. If you live on the west coast Water,the ocean is in the west, etc. Puru uses a different system and animal emblems.

Beginning in the south with the coiled serpent {Kundalini energy} Innocence,the past,

moving to the west the Jaguar, death and rebirth,earth

to the north,air beautiful sweet nectar drinking hummingbird,

and finally to the East, fire, the Sun and the Condor soaring with spirit.

The 5th element is all our relations, all the peoples, teachers, creatures and the Star nations,

Once in you’re sacred space always move clock-wise,

May Day, 1= FIRE,  May 2- WATER, May 3 -EARTH, May 4 – AIR,  May 5 = SPIRIT/SOUL
