Happy Wednesday, named after the Anglo-Saxon/Norse God Woden or Odin originating from the Hebrew tribe of Dan and the root word Adonai. Odin is represented as a grave-looking elderly man with a long beard, carrying in his hand a spear accompanied by two dogs and two ravens. Wednesday is also named after the planet MERCURY, Mercredi in French. The connection is through the language/ruins/intuitive symbolism connection. For intellect or for true connection to work one must suspend one’s ego and point of view to receive true wisdom. .
He also appears in the Tarot as Arcana #12 The Hanged Man, a card of emotional initiation and baptism of surrendering the ego to a Higher Power.
