June 19 It’s my quadruple Gemini son Elijah’s birthday today, I am wishing my one and only son a wonderful birthday and a great year ahead.

Venus is very active today. First, she makes uncomfortable, nails on the blackboard aspect between Her as the Empress on her Taurus Throne inconjunct to Jupiter in LIBRA the other sign she rules. She is the EMPRESS of all relationships. She is obstinate, sensuous, and can be downright dominating in FIXED sign, Taurus. Venus wants what she wants and is not inclined to play NICE as she usually does when she is in LIBRA. Rare erotic encounters with the stars

Venus is now Returning to her Source, Her Light, her Lover, the SUN in conjunction in the SACRED MARRIAGE MARCH 25/26. In the Tarot, Venus is symbolized by the EMPRESS #3. But the image of her conjunction with the Sun reminds me of the Sun card itself. It’s a very new beginning in Aries a fiery love affair.

Venus turns Retrogrades about every 18 months, these Retrograde times connect over an eight-year repetitive cycle.   

You will want to think back and reflect on the last time that Venus was Retrograde in Aries. This happened on March 6 to April 17, 2009, and March 8 to April 19, 2001. It’s very likely that we will Repeat some lessons in love and deal with similar issues during the 2017 Venus Retro cycle as we did during these cycles in 2001 and 2009.

Venus is in detriment while she is in ARIES but when she Retrogrades back into Pisces on APRIL 2/3rd, she is in her Exaltation again.  The Divine Feminine, the Queen Bee, is going back into her hive in PISCES to get fed, nurtured, sourced and then marches out again into a brave new world when she re-enters ARIES to be an Amazon Warrioress/ Soldier of Love on April 28.

Venus had a very spectacular rare Retrograde crossing in front of the Sun in June 2012 in Tropical Gemini which won’t happen again until 125 years from that date.

Bipolar Gemini Time Astrology by Tara Greene

Sun enters the 1st Air Sign May 20 @ 7:36 am PDT/10:36 am EDT/2:36 pm GMT.

Gemini the sign of the naturally bi-polar TWINS, known as a “FUN da MENTAL”  sign. I made that up years ago. It’s a fast paced sign and month of mind games, light-headed, shall we say Air Head? Social butterfly, changing partners, do- see doe-ing, dodging being committed, all the while smiling charmingly in general. I mean no harm to bipolar people and their suffering.

GEMINI is Ruled by that fancy hatted and shoe’d fleet- footed messenger of the Gods –MERCURY, the planet. MERCURY is  consciousness, intelligence, analysis, communications. Our minds have two sides, two lobes, that’s why Mercury is a dual sign. 

Because MERCURY is RETROGRADE in TAURUS as Sun enters GEMINI and almost at standstill turning Direct May 22nd, the energy will be kind of at a standstill for the weekend, inspite of a Sagittarius FUll Moon.  It would be wise to wait till June 7th before really initiating anything new, when Mercury is back to 23+ degrees Taurus on June 7 and bypassed it’s Retrograde degree.

June 1st two-timing week ahead.

Welcome to June named after the Roman Goddess JUNO. She is the Queen of the Gods,  Zeus’s wife. Goddess of Marriage and Childbirth, she was the protector and special counselor of the state. She is a daughter of Saturn and the mother of  Mars and Vulcan who married Venus/Aphrodite.  She was the patron Goddess of Rome and the Empire. Juno was called Regina which means Queen and she was worshipped as part of the Holy Trinity as Juno Capitolina with Jupiter and Minerva {Greek Athena} in Rome.

Juno is often pictured sitting with a peacock  armed and wearing a goatskin cloak in her warrior Goddess attribute.  The third discovered asteroid was named in her honor. In Canada we have Juno awards which is nice.  

Juno is the feminine form of genius. As everyone knows Feminine genius is multi-tasking, and omni-dimensional. The word genius was strictly for men only. So this is the month for women to display their 8 armed genius, like those Hindu Goddesses, which is what the glyph for Juno looks like. I think it looks like a magic wand. 

 

As Hera in Greek Mythology she was Zeus’s long-suffering wife as he philandered around raping everything in site. She was the patriarchy’s vision of being a “perfect model” wife.  I don’t buy it.

The c0-rulers of Scorpio are two-timing, double-talking, ratting each other out, just as Zeus did to Juno, or should I say launching secret air missiles against ground forces?  This aspect is a difficult one especially with Mercury Retrograde holding back Mars’s mental aggression. If you get headaches this week you will know why.

The planets are at 15 degrees which pours a kind of subliminal poisonous vitriol into the last of the seven Cardinal Cross degrees re-igniting that powderkeg from Uranus Pluto square on March  16. Mars in Gemini fires on two fronts at once. The conscious and the unconscious mind. This could show up as conflicts erupting in many parts of the world. Especially in politics

A very important aspect forms January 19/20 which symbolizes one of the main goals in human life, in spiritual growth and transformation, the Alchemical Marriage.  We are all seeking our divine other-half, the Beloved, our soul mate.  The Sacred Marriage within means to be whole, complete in oneself, as we are originally and to love fully.

You are all invited to participate in the Wedding party. Everyone gets to catch the bridal bouquet.

Neptune, ruler of spirituality, dreams, Oneness, Bliss, the Unconscious, completion and Hollywood blesses this rare event. Whether it is the glamour of Hollywood stars we are watching or planets, they both carry symbolic, synchronistic, archetypal messages. Hollywood and its films and movie stars are often very prophetic messengers perhaps unconsciously. They are playing out archetypal roles.

All of the symbols/metals/planets together form this Alchemical Marriage. When planets combine their energies in conjunctions, oppositions and squares this is also a type of Alchemy.

Who is the Bride?

The original Genesis Biblical story of Lilith’s refusal to be dominated sexually be Adam in the Garden of Eden is the original archetype of this split.  If women {Lilith} refuse to participate in man’s power games, then there are no relationships or children and no life continues. Lilith symbolizes man’s own vulnerability and fear of being rejected, abandoned, and unloved, which has caused him to dominate and control women. The women have the power, and the men know that. This story also symbolizes where the healing needs to take place, through the sacred alchemy of marriage. The masculine energy needs to learn to surrender and to trust the Feminine in order for life to flourish on all levels, psychologically, spiritually and practically.

Lilith, in early Virgo, is an earthy, practical, workaholic. She helps us to be conscious of our bodies, of the earth, of boundaries, and limitation of what we harvest.  Lilith also symbolizes the duality of sex, {Mars} and death, {Saturn.} The French call orgasm “the little death.” For true intimacy, both egos must die to become one, {Neptune}. 

Saturn in Sagittarius, symbolizes the Father, Patriarchy, the LEAD in the Alchemy, that “old tyme religion.” Father time, Lord of Karma is also involved in the alchemy in a waning square to Neptune but still in the marriage party. Someone’s got to give the bride away of course.

This planetary alignment signifies a Masculine surrender, a laying down of arms and ego games, a return to the Goddess, to worshipping the earth. Mars is transformed into the Positive Masculine, a Knight in shining armor, protecting the Holy Grail, the Feminine, and his own feeling intuitive function. And there is more. Venus, Goddess of women, is in revolutionary, freedom loving form at 19 degrees + of Aquarius, the sign of higher consciousness, opposite Jupiter in Leo Retrograde. Jupiter in Leo symbolizes the Sun King. Venus in Aquarius, is a revolutionary new Feminine in relationship to the golden, optimistic, creative, self- expressive Masculine, the heart of power with Jupiter in Leo. The “golden crown” of power is worn by he who has the biggest heart, who gives away the most. Jupiter is ancient ruler of Pisces. Mercury, the “ring bearer” is also close by to Venus as he has been for the last few weeks.

Bring down this powerful cosmic symbol into our consciousness so that we can be transformed by marrying the opposing forces of Love and War of Martial desire and Fear within. Only when we experience this Alchemical change can we become unified, balanced, loving. Then we are the Gold, the Source and we can we see all others as the Beloved as well.

This Sacred Marriage, the Beloved within, is what we are all seeking. The great Persian poet Rumi wrote thousands of poems devoted to the Beloved.

Wedding Astrology,revealing George and Amal’s marriage

Congratulations to George Clooney and his beautiful bride Amal Alamuddin on their marriage.

They exchanged vows in Venice at 8: 18 pm Saturday Sept 27 but aren’t legally married until Monday September 29 when they will exchange vows in a civil ceremony.

I will use the actual date and time of their wedding as the Natal chart symbolizing their  marriage.

I have included asteroids. These often have synchronic, literal connections. AMOR, LOVE in Italian amore- it’s what their water taxi said.  EROS=erotic love and PSYCHE, the Soul. Also an asteroid named George. AMAL’s name is of Hebrew, Sanskrit and Arabic origin. It means labor, pure and hope. There is also a very powerful star called HAMAL which is close to the name Amal. Hamal was once the foundation point, the Aries Equinox star, now still in the Constellation Aries at 7 degrees 40 minutes of Taurus in Tropical astrology.

THE MARRIAGE CHART

The Clooney marriage has its IDENTITY and vitality as a LIBRA SUN, with a strong Virgo overtone in the 6th house of work and service to others.

This is a marriage of equals, a KARMIC collaboration. Both are here to work together for justice, both are involved in human rights. I wouldn’t be surprised if George runs for office in the U.S. with Amal at his side or they both work through the U.N. or some other peace keeping associations. They serve as Archetypal partners because they are so famous. This gives us all hope that such equal relationships exist and that we can create them.

The symbol of the Alchemical Marriage in the Tarot, is Trump #14 traditionaly Temperance. In the Thoth Tarot it is called Art and represents this Sacred Marriage Union as Alchemy. One being is transformed into the other to become a new union. 

PLUTO at 11 degrees Capricorn in the 9th conjuncts Asteroid EROS at 6 degrees. The theme of soul mates for justice, politics, philosophy, higher education, honesty, is further manifested here.. Pluto is of course in the Cardinal Cross with Uranus in the 12th conjunct the south Node in Aries. This is an evolutionary new relationship, rising from the ashes of the old  ways for both parties.

 Asteroid CLUNY was the closest sounding name to  Clooney.

At 16 degrees VIRGO in the 5th house opposite Chiron the wounded healer in Pisces in the 11th.

The Clooney’s are all about Virgo practical work, manifesting, analyzing  communicating and healing information for themselves and to enlighten others.

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney Astrology by Tara Greene

I predicted that George would finally meet “the one” and settle down in my 2014 predictions. I did a previous article on George Clooney and why he is getting married now according to his astrology.

I now have his fiancée Amal’s birth date so lets look at who she is and the triggers in her chart.

I will also look at the synastry and composite chart of George and Amal together as a couple and their proposed wedding date of September 12 in Venice in an other article.

Amal is of Lebanese descent, British raised barrister, who presently works at Doughty Street Chambers in London, specializing in International law, criminal, human rights and extradition. Her grandmother was the first woman graduate of the American University in Beirut.  She studied at Oxford and in New York. She and George met at a charity event on September 12 2013 for a charity called Whatever it takes. LOL.- cue the synchronicity.

AMAL is an intelligent, beautiful, woman who is destined to be known on the world’s stage. I don’t have a correct birth time. This chart is set to Noon for a public person. This gives her a GEMINI Ascendant. She has a dual nature. A great communicator, a very inquiring mind. She appears young and may take her awhile to mature and settle down. She is charming and open.

Amal’s MARS is in Cancer and RETROGRADE  

This is a very karmic aspect. Mars in Cancer is very traditional, typically Feminine, all about family, home, children, cooking, nurturing. She is very emotional and sensitive,and close to her roots and traditions. But this Mars energy is held back when Retrograde so it is driven into her unconscious and she may only reveal that to those who she is closest to, her family. Mars in Cancer indicates many homes. Mars in Cancer can indicate having many children but Retrograde hampers that energy or she will have children later in life. 

Mars opposite Mercury in Capricorn

She may be attracted to older, more mature men, someone who is established and who holds worldly power and wealthy. Mercury in Capricorn is practical minded, someone who thinks things through thoroughly and patiently, she purposefully choses her words. She speaks in a way that allows her to mingle at the highest realms of traditional authority. Everyone in Amal’s generation is here to learn soul sexuality, rebirth, huge emotional issues about dying to one’s old identity and being reborn again ,most often in deep intense relationships. ONce she decides what she wants she is obsessive about gaining that.

Uranus squares her SUN And VENUS

This is a totally liberated woman. She is the epitome of a woman with deep desires, who knows herself intimately her own, passions and needs. She can be secretive about getting what she wants and she uses her outstanding brains and beauty to get it. She is a woman who is bringing down the highest consciousness at best. She knows who she is. 

So why did she and George CLooney meet and click on September 12 2013?

They are going to marry on September 12 2014- exactly one year after they met.

The SUN is at 19 degrees Virgo in her 5th house of Love, squaring her Natal Moon/Neptune in Sagittarius. Very romantic.

PLUTO at 9 degrees Capricorn is conjunct to her NATAL JUNO- Goddess of marriage

and in square to her NORTH And SOUTH NODES.I look at the slower moving and more powerful transits first like Pluto. That’s  pretty karmic marriage wake up call. 

Uranus at 11 degrees ARIES was also involved as part of the Evolutionary change planets to her South and North nodes.

MARS at 9 degrees LEo is opposite her Sun and Venus,

literally a man waking up her self and love nature!

ECLIPSES can have a profound influence on major changes in someone’s life

The MAY 9 2013 SOLAR ECLIPSE

has MARs at 14 degrees of Taurus Mercury at 17 Moon at 19 and Sun at 19 degrees of Taurus this eclipse was square to Amal’s SUN and VENUS in Aquarius. This eclipse set the tone  for a future change in her identity, she would meet George 4 months later.

THE FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE on May 25 2013 has the Sun at 4 degrees GEMINI with Moon at 4 degrees Sagittarius. VEnus Neptune and Jupiter were in a tight conjunction between 19-22 degrees Gemini opposite Amal’s natal Moon Neptune conjunction.
