How to dedicate yourself to Goddess Vesta

NEPTUNE opposes VESTA in VIRGO with MERCURY Rx

Neptune is ineffable; the spiritual the creative Muse the inspiration behind all creative acts.

 

 Vesta in Virgo is the Focus on the flame of spirit. The daily humble practical and very much maintenance part of life. I had an epiphany years ago about MAINTENANCE. Most of our lives are spent doing just that for most of our lives. We need to brush our teeth and our hair every day. We must maintain our bodies by eating. We must make money by working. We must maintain our relationships. We must maintain our health so we can live life to the fullest. We must manage our affairs and pay attention to the details. How very Virgo. Virgo is the Virgin Goddess/ Constellation.

 Vesta the Goddess of the Hearth and the flame whose root word is in use every day as investments. We do revere this Goddess. She is the investiture of power. The Vestal Virgins were very important in Ancient Rome. They created special items used in everyday offerings and rituals they had power and freedom. The last Vestal Virgin existed until A.D. 394.  

ANCIENT TANTRIC PRIESTESSES

Before the ROMANS: A Vestal Virgin was a Priestess dedicated to serving the Goddess VESTA as the hearth flame and earth mother. They were not non-sexual originally at all but totally sexual Tantric Priestesses. In ancient Greece, every unmarried woman had to serve in VESTA’s temples for a year before being was allowed to marry. These Priestesses focussed their hearts and wills and knew how to raise kundalini energy. They had sacred sex with men to heal them from PTSD before the men were allowed to integrate back into society. This was a very revered and honored position.

Invoke and integrate the energies of Neptune and Vesta by dedicating your everyday maintenance to Her who is your self.

Make vows to serve the Goddess in very humble everyday ways. When you work your work should be an offering of service to the Great Mother. Your food should be grown and consumed with reverence for the Earth. Your love making should be an act of pleasure dedicated to the Goddess. Putting on makeup should be a spiritual act of embodying the beauty of the goddess.  Cleaning your house is a devotion to the Goddess. 

Virgo is a very down to earth sign. Things should be kept simple and clean. Declutter at this time. Organize your dream projects and visions. Clarify a dream plan and make it concrete. Get a budget for it. While going about your days know that you are also an immortal spirit who is temporarily residing in the body. Tune into the Higher spiritual realms in everything you do even picking up your dog’s poop. It’s all spiritual. It’s about what you invest your spirit into. 

Bring your spirituality down to earth. Everything matters everything counts. Pay attention to your dreams and diet during these next few days.

Mercury conjunct Vesta, Sacred Priestess of sex

Mercury Retrograde is in an exact conjunction May 1st with Vesta, the sacred Goddess of light, fire and sexuality. Mercury is re-joining in TANTRIC union with the Goddess of sacred sexuality and focus on at 23 degrees TAURUS.

How appropriate.  May Day is the Day of celebration of sexuality as sacred, sexuality as Divine Union, sexuality as the main spiritual component in human lives. That is why the Catholic Church created this false celibacy, and warning of the “sins of the flesh” and blaming women as Temptresses. They knew that sex was the immanent direct route to experience oneness, divine bliss, and ecstasy and they wanted to control the most powerful and natural of instincts to control the people. A pretty scary and CRAZY idea. 

Vesta or Hestia in the Roman mythology was the very first Goddess, she rules the hearth and Temple flames, the central focus of all cultural life.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus is a backslide into sensuality and fleshy knowledge. We need to taste the sweet, the salty, the spicy. We need to re-awaken our senses for being awake in the world. 

WHO WERE THE VESTAL “VIRGINS”?

In ancient times all women served as Sacred High Priestesses of the Goddess in her Temples. In Ancient Greece all unmarried women had to spend a year in service as a tantric priestess before being able to marry. The term Virgin originally meant “whole and complete, belonging to no one, or to no man.” An autonomous woman. 

These sacred Vestal High Priestesses initiated men into divine union with the Goddess. All women became the Divine Goddess, through ritual, prayer, fasting, chanting, dedication, intention, dancing, meditation practices and anointing themselves with perfumes, and partaking of psychotropic mushrooms and plants they experienced themselves as the Divine Feminine, the Divine Goddess and Mother. They became HER.  They were called Divine Hierodules, like the term Hierophant, or High Priest. Another name was the houris, from which the modern word hours is derived and the sacred Hebrew dance, the hora. 

VESTA is the ARCHETYPE of the HIGH PRIESTESS 

I remember many past lives lived as a Vestal and many other types of Goddess worshipping High Priestesses. 

The VESTAL “virgins” served as sexual healers to men who had PTSD from being in War. These men would not be allowed to reintegrate into normal, stable society until they had had the profane bloodshed of war washed away from them by having sacred intercourse with a bleeding Priestess, thus exchanging the Blood of War for the Blood of Life. These women became the Divine Goddess, through ritual, prayer, fasting, chanting, dedication, intention, dancing and anointing themselves with perfumes, and partaking of psychotropic mushrooms and plants they experienced themselves as the Divine Feminine, the Divine Goddess and Mother. They became HER. 

I love the SYNCHRONICITY of this. Mercury , the messenger, the hermaphrodite god, the two lobes of our brains, in Retrograde is bringing back our bodily memories of participation into the Great Mystique of life on this day as Sacred. We all remember participating in these types of rituals. We have been alive in every form and in every culture and time. We know this in our cells. 

I remember many past lives lived as a HIGH PRIESTESS in any different ages and temples. I have had these memories since I was about 6 years old. I had no knowledge of this from the time period I grew up in. I trusted what I felt, saw and knew. This knowledge came bursting forth in a Grade 11 Art History class, in visiting many sacred sites Stonehenge, Ephesus in Turkey, sailing on the Mediterranean near Crete when I was 17 and many more times in Holotropic Breathworks and other spontaneous visions. 

Celebrate this great coming together of the Messenger and the VIRGIN ever renewing Goddess by practicing tantric firebreathing.Celebrate your beloved. Praise new life.

Full speed Dream boat by Tara Greene

NEPTUNE turns direct Nov 15/16 

It’s full speed ahead on the Dream Boat. With great relief we will all be feeling out of the “out of it” fog, the avoidance -a void dance, clearing the fantasies, illusions, addictions and back to the reality of building solid practical dreams.

NEPTUNE the planet of illusions,  creativity, Higher love, compassion, forgiveness, yoga, debt  and addictions turns DIRECT after being Retrograde since June 9, that over 5 months of being in the doldrums.

Haven’t you been feeling this? I know I have,

Reveries you have been revamping all of this time can be made manifest now. 

Neptune was at 7 degrees 36 minutes when it went Retro. It turns direct at 4 degrees 47 minutes of PISCES.
Neptune is still with in 1 degree of the ROYAL STAR FOMALHAUT- aka ARCHANGEL GABRIEL.

We have been under ARCHANGEL GABRIEL’S protection for many months now.  Make sure you follow and integrate the messages you received. Mine are going into my book.

If you have been feeling very psychic the last few months will no psychic boundaries this is also attributed to Neptune sitting with the Archangel Gabriel. 

If the Archangel has been sending you aural messages, do bring them into a song, a painting, a message or some healing inspiration. Use the angelic guidance to be with you always. This was a very rare once in a lifetime connection. Give thanks to Gabriel.

Neptune has been sitting almost totally still exactly on my NORTH NODE in Pisces for the last while and also squaring my Sagittarius SUN at 6+ degrees.

If you have planets, angles,angles/angels at these degrees or in Square -0-8 degrees Sagittarius, or 0-8 degrees Gemini or in opposition in VIRGO at these same degrees you know personally whereof I speak.

Neptune Retrograde has been driving OCD Virgo’s absolutely nuts.  DO I hear AYe’s from you Virgins?

 

Neptune transits also bring a danger of being beguiled by a guru or projecting a spiritual perfection onto another person -especially in a love relationship. If you have met someone in the last year and you are under “hard” aspects from Neptune then you will now slowly start to see the illusion you have projected onto them slowly dissolve.  The real person may not be the SOUL MATE, or TWIN FLAME you thought they were. This may prove to be very startling as the rose-colored glasses come off.

 

Anything that has seemed TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE is always a by-product of a NEPTUNE transit. The real estate deal, the coaching promises, the investments, etc.  I have counselled many a foggy client who also have been avoiding making decisions over these past few months under this  transit. People cannot believe me that a planet way out there, NEPTUNE God of the Oceans, whose orbit crosses with Pluto’s at times, can affect us so much down here on our tiny little blue ball. But it does. 

BUILD NEW REAL DREAMS of  Integrity 

As SATURN gears up to enter SAGITTARIUS on December 23 2014 

Saturn in Sagittarius will begin to form a Square to NEPTUNE in PISCES. This is the beginning of a longer term square that happens late in 2015 and in to 2016. Saturn is the planet of REALITY, hard work, long-term goals, career,efficiency, business, maturity. Saturn in Sagittarius is only the truth, the hard, cold truth.

Saturn gives the benefits of discipline and the ability to kick addictions especially to credit card debt- which Neptune rules. You will be able to get sober and stay that way. 

Sagittarius is the 3rd Fire elemental, the 9th sign, is the sign of Justice,  Integrity, Inspiration, Humor and Higher learning. Many fly by night fantasies will be toasted like so many marshmallows in Sagittarius’s truth fire.

Saturn is the architect, the builder, so building boundaries against being a Pisces martyr, a psychic sponge and feeling too much of other people’s emotions is the modus operendi.  We can’t actually help anyone or the world if we are overwhelmed by too much emotion. One can choose to build permeable psychic boundaries and choose which type of emotions and energies you allow into your psychic space and inner sanctum.

Are your goals, dreams, romances, spiritual experiences able to stand the test of time in Saturn’s hard-core density of reality and Sagittarius higher truth?

Now would be the time to do the prep as Saturn will spend most of 2015 in late degrees of Scorpio, where we can research and forge new transformed identities. Sounds exciting to me.
