Leo New Moon August 18/19 at 26+ LEO is a HOT MESS

I know many Astrologers love to sugar coat things these days. Making mantras and remedies and talismans and crystals and candles and all, which is fine but you still can’t always make the difficult challenges easier.

For me, you need to know what you are up against so you can do draw your battle lines and prepare especially with ATHENA the Asteroid Goddess in Capricorn squaring Lilith Eris and Mars widely and opposing Venus in Cancer.

Break free Aquarius Full Moon

A high wired Full Moon in Aquarius at 11+ degrees on August 3 @ 8:58 am PDT. 11:58 am EDT, 3:58 pm GMT

and Uranus, the planet of chaos, revolutionary change, invention, detachment, unique individuals, groups and higher consciousness squares the MOON.

URANUS is the Modern ruler of Aquarius.

AQUARIUS, the Water Bearer is an Air sign of Higher consciousness. It is associated with wishes hopes and dreams in Astrology and is the symbol of the STAR #17 in the TAROT.

 Wish big and be ready to have a roller coaster ride with that.

Sun, Sedna, Algol, Deep waters

May 18 The SUN conjuncts Sedna the farthest out planetoid yet discovered in our solar system at 27 degrees TAURUS conjunct Fixed Star Algol. Sedna was discovered in 2003. 

Sedna moves incredibly slow, taking 11,406 years to complete one orbit. This is close to the 12,000+ year of a half a great cosmic year of 25,000+ years.  The last time Sedona was at 27 Degrees Taurus as she is today, was during the Last Ice Age.

Perhaps that is how old this myth is or even a previous revolution of Sedna, 24,000 years ago when she made herself known to the consciousness of humans.

When a new body is discovered our consciousness is expanded. We have a living entity that links us with our ancient Atlantean times. Sedna has been conjunct to Algol since 2017 and remains in Taurus until 2024. 

Today the SUN, ALGOL and SEDNA are aligned. Algol is another Goddess who was demonized. Yet Sedna a powerful Ocean Goddess is honoured as one of the main Gods of the Inuit people of the far north of Canada. Her story is tragic as many indigenous myths are, showing the hardships that these people took as normal everyday occurrences. There are variations on her story. In one legend Sedna is a giant, the daughter of the creator-god Anguta, with a great hunger that causes her to attack her parents.  Anguta is angered by her and taking her out to sea, throws her over the side of his kayak. As she clings to the sides, he chops off her fingers and she sinks to the underworld, becoming the ruler of the monsters of the deep. Her huge fingers become the seals, walruses, and whales hunted by the Inuit.

In another version, Sedna’s father betrays her because she refuses a suitor. She is left alone isolated and dead after her fingers are chopped off by her father, as she is clinging to his boat after he has thrown her overboard. Sedna’s fingers fall into the ocean and transform into all of the creatures of the Sea. She is the Queen of the Oceans.

Sedna herself symbolizes the primordial Unconscious, a cold, sometimes frozen wasteland of pain and fear. Sedna symbolizes being cut off from spirit and any safe home. Sedna had beautiful long hair. Innuit hunters would call to her and bring her gifts before going to hunt. Combing out her beautiful hair appeased her wrath and she would grant a bountiful catch and ensure the hunters safely on the hunt for seals, walrus, whales and fish to feed themselves and their families.

Sedna is a living archetype that rules our dreams. She symbolizes our pain at feeling alone, abandoned, and isolated. In these quarantining times, many of us are feeling Sedona swim in our veins and in our tears and fears. Pay attention to your dreams now very carefuul. Sedna can help you and support you with her eternal strength.

I was given a beautiful hand made and embroidered felt vest made by an Inuit shaman years ago for a wedding gift. I never realized that it was Sedna sewn onto the vest until recently and I’ve had this since 1979.

With Venus Retrograde in Gemini squared by Neptune the planet which rules the oceans, a heightened dreamscape deep surfing is possible. All dreams with water are dreams of the Unconscious and Sedna is the Mistress of them all, known or unbeknownst to us.

The orbit Od Sedna reminded me of Astrologer Barabara Hand Clow who I workshopped with years ago. In her Pleiadian Agenda book Barbara talked about the earth being in the Photon Band, as the SUN, moves into that band for about 2,000 years and this event happens about every 11,000 years. The last time was when Atlantis was at it peak. There is 10,000 years of darkness and then 2,000 years of being in the Photon Band and Light. The 11,000th year out of the photon belt she calls the Galactic Night. According to her findings, we are now in the Photon Band since the late 90’s for the next 12,000 years.

Watch for Sedna to appear in your dreams whenever water is in them.

As horrific and terrifying, this pandemic is, with many thousands dying and sick. There is also a very powerful spiritual message in it. You don’t want to miss it.

In the third book of the series, “Journey to Ixtlan” Don Juan, a Shaman/Sorcerer teaches Carlos the art of  “Stopping the World.” a state which takes us out of ordinary reality to perceive the world as it really is.

In a series of specific lessons, Don Juan batters away at Castaneda’s dependence on his usual framework of Western rationality. In order to  become a “man of knowledge,”  a “true seer” one must learn “not doing” until one can “stop the world” and, finally, “see.” These concepts are cornerstones in the life of a shaman, someone who is truly free and alive and autonomous.

To be a warrior or warrioress means someone who is free from programming and past life unconscious behaviours who is impeccable, and who has inner power. The chapter titles in that book are a Zen-like training manual: “Erasing Personal History,” “Losing Self-Importance,” “Disrupting the Routines of Life.”

It sounds like what you and I and the world are experiencing right now. The COVID-19 is a shamanic initiation. By disrupting the routines of life, losing your job, your identity with your role, our usual ways of life, or even being with your children full time, are necessities in learning how to become more aware, awake and alive.

I agree with psychologist and shamanic practitioner, Jose Stevens, a crisis like the new Coronavirus pandemic occurs when humanity has a major lesson to be learned or people need a “restructuring of their reality.”

COVID-19 enforces cooperation and working together. Fear somehow seems to have stemmed bullying and the polarization that has been rampant. We are all in this together and so we recognize our inherent interconnection. This is an AQUARIAN message as Saturn enters the sign of Universal interconnectivity. 

Covid-19 makes us BE HERE NOW, Ram Dass’s famous book written in 1971. There is nowhere else to go. We can’t run away from ourselves although we can try with drinking porn drugs or internet escapism. Our usual structures of business as usual which we define ourselves with- gone.  Time has slowed down, we are losing track of days. This is a Very URANIAN chaotic energy. Uranus is in TAURUS and squaring Saturn at 0 Aquarius now.

Coronavirus affects us all, regardless of financial status, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Families not used to being together or always eating fast foods are suddenly finding every night is family dinner night whether they cook or order in. We realize how much we have gotten away from the traditions where families were sharing and supporting each other. This is a very Saturn in Capricorn experience. Of course, many women are in dangerous situations with unhealthy toxic men or family members. I pray that they reach out and get help. 

Many people are alone and feeling very isolated and lonely. But this is a perfect time to be a Hermit and learn who you really are. If you take this time to know yourself you can use this time for self-help, self- love and then you will be ready to have a healthy relationship in the future. You are never really alone. Light a leaf of sage and burn it regularly to clear the air from everyone else’s energies

If you can go outside and walk safely do that.  You don’t need to socially distance yourself from a tree. Trees are receivers and givers of energy. If you have a tree on your property go and sit with your back to it and get grounded. If you can get out in a woods even better, or sit by moving water. Or just sit with a plain rock in your hand. Giving thanks for being healthy is much better than projecting fear. I would limit how much time you spend being distracted on the internet, but use this Aquarian tool to connect with those you love who you cant be with physically. 

Suddenly Governments in the U.S. and worldwide are forced into being socialist to help prevent low income, seniors, and millions of laid-off workers and caregivers, from falling into debt and financial ruin. In the US and Canada, there are programs to bail people out of paying rent, for student loans, deferring mortgages, medical expenses, and to cope with childcare as students are being homeschooled. Many of the socialist platforms that Bernie Sanders was touting have become an instant reality by Republicans! I think we are in the Upside Down world. Just like that the entire social fabric has morphed. 

I think of Terrence McKenna who spoke about NOVELTY after 2012. We are in a max novelty mode.

Our obsessive consumerism and capitalist way of life is unsustainable. We all knew it on some level but we never know anything until we experience it. Many people have never known this kind of hardship. Many generations have coped with this before. 

If you see Covid-19 as a plot by the New World Order to install G5 or China then you may not see this as the spirit of Gaia or Mother Nature acting. If you see this as a Totalitarian take over cleverly disguised as “protecting the little people and seniors.” You may not see a bigger picture. Spirit moves in mysterious ways. If you see it as a dark side of the coming Age of Aquarius you will see the necessity of stopping the world to bring us all to our senses to question all the values we have been living by. Covid-19 is a glitch in the Matrix. Things will not be the same. I am hoping and praying. 

We are not every man for himself. But we are all here for one another. We all resonate as ONE HEART on the earth, We are feeling everyone else’s pain, as they lose loved one.

While you are at home alone or with family take this time as a precious gift of being able to STOP THE WORLD. Take time to meditate this will help you from being so stressed. 

Journal and take time to write down your thought, your night dreams.

Stay out of fear and appreciate this time as Sacred time and as a radical new world being conceived. Do you really want to go back to the same old same old?

New ways of working will come out of this. This is a radical healing energy. As Saturn and Jupiter enter Aquarius on December 21, 2020, they will be in a helpful sextile to Wounded Healer Chiron and into 2021. I am praying that the Highest spirits will come to our aid,
