Nice,France, Bastille Day, Astrology

I send blessings to the 84 at the latest count, innocent people and children, who were killed in Nice, France July 14 and to their families. The horrific news of yet another terrorist attack in France on Bastille Day, France’s National holiday celebrating the French Revolution and the storming of the Bastille in 1789 throws another huge psychic shock into the French psyche and onto the world’s stage.

Nice attacks, France Terrorist

Heart rending photo of a child killed in Nice with their doll at their side

Around 10:30 p.m. after a fireworks display, a French born man of Tunisian descent drove a huge 18 wheel white truck down the sidewalks filled with holiday revelers accelerated it and zig zagging for about a mile mowing down whoever was in his way. Live video footage shows people running away in panic. Shocking photos shows many mangled dead bodies lying in the street in the aftermath. The driver then came out shooting and police gunned him down. The truck was full of grenades. ISIL was shown celebrating the carnage on the Net. France is already under a three month emergency alert from the last terrorist attacks which will now continue for another three months.

This is so very sad, and shows how much damage a lone man with just a truck can do. The problem is radicalized terrorist jihadists already living in the country. This will further escalate Muslim’s being tagged, watched, deported and surveillance levels on high alert all the time in France and throughout Europe.

Lets look at the Astrology of this attack with the original Bastille day chart of July 14 1789 Paris France at 6:00 pm

Nice France Terrorist Attack astrology

The Planets on July 14 2016 show a difficult, angry, frustrated, MOON MARS conjunction in Scorpio @ 23-24 degrees where Mars has been festering for the last while. Scorpio is the most obsessively intense emotional sign and always symbolizes death, secretive maneuvers, power and control. The Moon always represents the people, the unconscious mood, the Motherland, home. Moon Mars are trine to CHIRON, the wounded healer in PISCES, the sign of religious martyrs and secret enemies.

The MOON and MARS are opposite ALGOL the most feared STAR in the Heavens at 28 degrees TAURUS. The 1789 Bastille Day’s chart has its SOUTH NODE, its karmic past, conjunct to ALGOL. This is the symbol of beheading, as it symbolizes Medusa’s head. Hundreds of aristocrats were beheaded during the French Revolution. The North Node, the highest evolution, from 1789 is 28 degrees SCORPIO very close to the 2016 Mars/Moon. The past always repeats itself. That is karma. Cause and effect.

URANUS in ARIES is conjunct ERIS the planet of discord and exactly square to the SUN, the French identity and pride at 22 degrees CANCER. Uranus and Eris in Aries are warlike, passionate, spontaneous and have to do with speed and chaos and they are in quincunx, a 150 degree difficult angle to the Moon/Mars conjunction. These energies have been simmering for awhile. Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn is trine Jupiter in Virgo and sextile the SUN in Cancer making it easy to access Plutocratic ambition for worldly fame and power.

Uranus + Eris in ARIES are sextile to CHIRON the wounded Healer in the original 1789 chart at 24 Gemini which is also inconjunct {150 degrees} to MARS and the Moon in Scorpio which is a YOD or FINGER OF GOD.  This is a karmic signature.

The Grand Water Trine of CHIRON in PISCES to the Cancer SUN to MARS and Moon is clearly visible. The waters, tears and blood have flown.

MUTABLE T-square

The SOUTH Node in PISCES symbolizing past lives, hidden enemies, illusions, delusions and addictions is conjunct NEPTUNE planet of idealism and deception. Neptune is opposite JUPITER in VIRGO. The largest planet symbolizes opportunity, expansion, foreigners, religious zealots, politics and laws. Virgo energy is the land, the harvest, serving others, order.  Both of these planets and karmic compass points are square to SATURN still RETROGRADE in SAGITTARIUS sitting on the Fixed Star ANTARES, the rival of MARS. This is such a fateful karmic  energy. Saturn is on the M.C. the High Noon position for the chart itself.

SATURN is sextile another Fixed Star with a terrible reputation, Vindemiatrix  known as the “WIDOW MAKER” at 10 degrees LIBRA Tropical at the very center of the constellation of VIRGO. ALGOL and Vindemiatrix are connected by a much-feared 135 degree aspect called a sesquisquare or sesqui-quadrate. Both Algol and Vindemiatrix are connected to wine, something which France is famous for and which Muslims are absolutely forbidden to drink. The Arabic name for this star is Al Muredin which means the one sent forth in the Faith such as an ISIL terrorist. It seems so symbolically geared against everything that France stands for.

Vindemiatrix is also quincunx {150 degrees} to NEPTUNE in PISCES  which is also inconjunct to the 1789 charts position of JUPITER at 6+ degrees of LEO, the sign of Kings, leaders, pride, courage, children, will power and the heart.  Apparently some parents threw their children over fences to protect them and get them out of the way of the assault truck. Where do we put out hearts now? How do we protect our children?

‘THOSE WHO CANNOT REMEMBER THE PAST { HISTORY} ARE CONDEMNED TO REPEAT IT.’

The quote is most likely due to George Santayana.

My intuition told me this while I wrote this article. All the Aristocracy and people in power in France who were beheaded during the Revolution have now come back as ISIL radical Muslim supporters to get even with the French people and the world. I know that sounds very weird to some but bear with me. Karma works this way. The French were right to have their revolution which overthrew the power of the few to create democracy which  set the stage for the American Revolution. But those who were killed and didn’t do their spiritual work of examining their own misdeeds and accepting their part in creating their own terrible deaths still hold onto revenge. Then they return lifetime after lifetime to exact revenge on those who they blame and scapegoat for killing them, and the meat wheel of karma continues in its carnage. That is why it is so important for every individual to look inside of themselves to own their own shadows and especially to be willing to take responsibility for every action, to let go, forgive and not be attracted back to these emotional karmic cesspools. Otherwise the original harm is repeated over and over creating ever more suffering and pain. This is what the Buddha taught.  Souls cannot evolve to higher planes of consciousness if stuck in the lower vibrations of  anger, ego and unconscious patterns. That is why compassion is so important. That is why Christ’s statement, “Father forgive them, they know not what they do.” is such an important one to remember, understand and follow. This does not mean one condones the wrong actions but one does not buy into revenge.

More horror, more lives destroyed. Such senseless hate. We mourn with France.

Nelson Mandela Life and death Astrology insights, from Tara Greene

The great visionary, peace maker, first democratically elected president of South Africa Nelson Mandela passed away on Dec 5 at 95 years of age. We are fortunate to live at the same time that such a great human walked the earth and shone as a great beacon.

Nelson Mandela astrology Tara Greene

Born the son of a chief, his father died when he was 9. He studied to be a lawyer. He fought for equal rights for blacks to rule their own country, freedom from the hundreds of years of Dutch overrule. He believed, like Gandhi in peace.  He was a founding member of ANC youth leauge. In 1948 when Apartheid was implemented he advocated strikes, and civil disobedience. He became president in 1951. Apartheid tightened its grip and in 1956 he and hundreds of other leaders were tried for treason. Mandala led the defence in a 4 1/2 year trial. They were all acquitted. But Police found that Mandela had been part of an undergound ANC guerilla group founded in 1961. This group claimed to have carried out 70 acts of sabotage and Mandela was sentenced to life in prison. He spent 27 years in two different prisons enduring hard labour with no contact with the outside world at all.  DeKlerk became leader and he was a reformer in 1989. Finally on February 11, 1990 Mandela became a free person.

In 1994 Mandela was the first democratically elected black President of South Africa. He had his prison guards in the front row when he took his oath as President. In 1999 after the completion of one term he stepped down. He became a philanthropist, setting up benefits for AID’s world-wide and creating scholarships and mentoring for African Youth.

Known affectionately as MADIBA. Lets look at what Mandela’s birth chart says about how,why and who he was.

Nelson Mandala astrology Tara Greene

NELSON was born at the end of the First World war. A  Cancer  Sun, the most clan oriented, sensitive, emotional, protective, nurturing, sign. The Sun in the 8th house has great power, for change, transformation, struggles, rebirth, secrets. He changes others. A Cancer Sun, with Scorpio overtones.

His Moon was in Scorpio at 20 degrees in the 12th house , a very emotional, intense, private, karmic, spiritual Moon. Emotionally he was very soulful and very deep. The 12th house is the house of prisons, connecting to faith, spirit, Bliss, compassionate, a guru. This Lunar placement shows a past life karma of being a very spiritual person, of someone who knew what solitude is. Who could connect directly with spirit and who could forgive.

Nelson had Mercury conjunct Saturn and Neptune in LEO, the Sign of the KING, in the 9th house of politics, justice, freedom, International connections, a philosopher, teacher, this is very powerful. Saturn is his father, karma, testing, obstacles. Leo is a Fixed sign, showing incredible daring, courage, leadership, unswerving focus.  It was these planetary factors which enabled Mandela to survive with his pride intact with inordinate Leonine strength in prison for 27 years, almost a complete Saturn cycle. Saturn conjunct Neptune in Leo is being the architect of a dream of the soul and heart. Mandela had all the skills necessary to speak from the heart and to dream Big.

Mars in Libra in the 11th house. Mars in Libra is considered weak but it reached its highest expression through Mandela. The true diplomat, the man of peace who brings balance between two opposing factions. Mandela had the gift of grace and charm. His battle was fought with words not spears.

Mandela had Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Cancer in the 7th house. Jupiter is large, the King, conjunct to Pluto it is great wealth and power, indomitable emotional strength and will. In the 7th house, he married the world, his people, he was emotionally committed to the revolutionizing of his  Motherland- Cancer/ Africa.

Mandela had Venus in Gemini which makes him able to see both sides. He was a great arbitrator, lawyer, always open minded. Charming. He loved his work with Venus in the 6th house. Venus in Gemini rules the lungs and he had TB and died of lung related disease.

Uranus in Aquarius is in its own Sign Retrograde. Uranus is at its strongest at home.  He was a natural revolutionary from the get go. A rebel a forward thinking Aquarian,a  democratic thinker and speaker. Uranus in the 3rd house of Communications makes it natural for him to be able to communicate this from his deepest soul with Uranus square the Scorpio Moon. He was obsessed with his vision of freedom from Apartheid.

Nelson’s North Node, his highest spiritual goal was at 21 degrees Sagittarius on his Sagittarius Ascendant.Think of the Archer, that was Mandela aiming higher, having Hope. ALso a great sense of humor.

Chiron at 3 degrees Aries in his 4th house. Mandela deeply felt the wounds of the people, 4th house is home, mothering nurturing. Chiron square PLUTO and Jupiter in Cancer opposite Mars in Libra. He deeply felt the split of apartheid. As a wounded healer he had the ARIES fighting initiative unlimited energy and resiliency to propel great power into rebalancing the status quo.

A Virgo Mid heaven made him modest and born to serve the needs of others. A perfectionist, very intellectual.

His South Node, not shown is at 21 degrees Gemini conjunct his Venus on the Descendant, in the 6th house of work and service. A humble man, he had been a communicator, a go- between, someone who knew how to bring different factions in to Unity in the past.

On the day of his death,December 5 2013 after a lengthy infection in his lungs, Mandela passed away peacefully at his home in Johannesburg.

Comets are known to herald the passing of great leaders and so it was that COMET ISON passed through our cosmos only days ago.

Mandela passed away at 8:50 PM South Africa time. The Moon was conjunct to VENUS in Capricorn at 22-24  degrees Capricorn directly opposite to Mandela’s SUN. A very beautiful aspect with Jupiter having just passed over Mandela’s Sun.

Saturn, Father Time,  was three degrees away from Mandela’s Scorpio moon, also squaring his Natal Saturn Mercury conjunction in Leo. Pluto is in square to his Natal Mars in Libra. Uranus is opposite his Mars, squaring his Natal PLUTO. In other words the Grand Cardinal Cross was aspecting his Natal chart directly.

His Numerology 7 18 1918 = 17 Personality Number the symbol of THE STAR AQUARIOUS and # 8 Karma, Libra, Strength, Justice is also very fitting.

Nelson Mandela leaves the world a much better place. We were fortunate to be breathing the same air as this great man. His faith determination, vision, strength of spirit will always survive as a guide for everyone.  He had many wonderful inspiring quotes which will live on. He leaves his 3rd wife, children and grandchildren and an entire country Mother Africa and the worlds mourning his loss.

SOME QUOTES:

“A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens but its lowest ones.”

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”

– “Long Walk to Freedom” from his Autobiography 1995

“Death is something inevitable. When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace.”

Thank You Nelson Mandela
