Mars Out of Bounds ,the Scorpion’s heart.

Mars will move OUT of BOUNDS on AUGUST 8th until September 23rd.

This is a big deal. What does Out of Bounds OOB mean? It has to do with the declination of the SUN. This is where the Sun travels in the sky which is also the equivalent to latitude on the Earth. The seasons are created when the Sun moves between 23.26 minutes NORTH or SOUTH of the equator.  When the Sun is at 22 South 00 declination it is directly on latitude 22 degrees South latitude on the earth.

Summer in the Northern Hemisphere/ Winter in the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE begins when the Sun reaches the Tropic of Cancer,  a circle of latitude  23.26 degrees NORTH of the equator. Winter in the Northern Hemisphere/Summer in the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE occurs when The Sun reaches the Tropic of Capricorn, a circle of latitude located approximately 23.26 degrees South of the equator.

The Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere/Autumn EQUINOX in the Southern Hemisphere is when the Sun is on the Equator, it is at 00 00 declination. This is  0 Aries, the beginning of the Zodiac in TROPICAL ASTROLOGY.   In the Autumn in the North/ Hemisphere/ Spring in the SOUTHERN Hemisphere the Sun again reaches the equator at 00 degrees considered to be zero degrees LIBRA.

ANTARES marks one of the four major ARCHANGEL STARS he is ARIEL, URIEL or ORIEL, the Watcher of the WEST.  The STAR marks the heart of the SCORPIO CONSTELLATION which is Sideral.   Antares Iis a super red giant star, 10,000 times brighter than our own Sun located 550 Light Years away. It is the 15th brightest star in the skies. All stars appearing red have angry, passionate, violent associations. Antares means “the rival of MARS: the planet which rules SCORPIO. 

The mythology of Antares relates to the constellation of Scorpius. Gaia, the Earth Goddess sent a giant Scorpion to sting ORION the Hunter as punishment because he boasted that he was able to kill all living creatures on earth. Scorpius killed Orion, and Gaia placed them both in the heavens at opposite ends as a reminder to people to beware of excessive pride. Keep this story in mind. 

In Astrology SCORPIO, is the most important and soulful sign governing the basic drives in all life, sex, death and rebirth. It is primal. 

ANTARES IN ANCIENT CULTURES 

In ANCIENT CHINA this star was associated with great fortune. It marked a large portion of the regal AZURE DRAGON which was considered to be wise  and beneficial. In Ancient Babylon the star was called URBAT, the creator of prosperity.  The EGYPTIANS worshipped this star as SELKIT heralding sunrise in her temples at the Autumn equinox and as a symbol of Goddess ISIS in pyramid ceremonies. 

There is a malevolent ruthless energy associated with this star. It makes people belligerent, tough and aggressive. It is associated with military strategy, risk-taking and courage. It is associated with  disasters, death and danger. 

Antares, like the lowest level of the sign Scorpio is based in survival mode at the root chakra. It relates to the defenses to the passion and will to survive, the instinct to kill to feed babies in the animal world, or to defend one’s territory. That is part of own nature and our ancient reptilian brain. 

Having MARS and SATURN, the “two greater malefics” conjunct ANTARES exactly AUGUST 23/24 is a very powerful portend. At that conjunction they also square the SOLAR ECLIPSE DEGREE of 9 degrees VIRGO which occurs on SEPTEMBER 1.

This is a karmic significator. We can see further destruction, violence and aggression in the world from Gaia, nature herself,with volcanoes, fires, earthquakes. And riots, wars, political unrest, man made explosions, terrorist attacks on a huge level, a 9/11 repeat. { Pluto was also at 12 degree SAGITTARIUS opposite SATURN in GEMINI at 9/11} .There is also huge dangers of major political leaders being assassinated, which is an ancient association with Solar eclipses.  

All energy is neutral. MARS and SATURN can also be used for good. The MARS/ SATURN conjunction begs us to have the passion, the desire, and the drive to get to the higher truth, philosophy and the “spiritual laws” which is really what SAGITTARIUS is all about. The arrow of the Centaur aims higher to the Galactic Center to our ancient stellar origins, to our ancient knowledge of better ways, higher consciousness, as star beings evolving. We are meant to connect with this now.

This conjunction demands that we take a stand for truth and  justice and create boundaries which are healthy to ensure our survival. This is not the same as Donald Trump’s proposed Mexican wall. This means boundaries around what we feel we need to be safe. This may result in walls around where refugees live. The involves limits of those who are supposed to protect our safety like the Police. Sagittarius rules politicians, the legal system, education, international affairs, and optimism. We need to do away with those who are dangerous, boastfull, arrogant and destructive to the Feminine way, to Gaia’s way of Being.

This conjunction could spell disaster for Donald Trump. 9 degrees SAGITTARIUS is conjunct to his Natal Lilith at 5+ degrees SAGITTARIUS. An angry woman may do him in. It inconjuncts his Natal Mercury at 8 degrees of Cancer. The Eclipse degree 9 Virgo is in his first house and in a wide conjunction with his Ascendant at 29 degrees LEO. Antares is opposite Trumps natal URANUS at 17 degrees GEMINI in his 10th house of wordly fame. That symbolizes a fall from power.

It could equally be hell on wheels for Hillary Clinton. The MARS/ SATURN conjunction quincunx’s {150 degrees} her 8 degree TAURUS MID-HEAVEN her highest career standing.  The eclipse at 9 degrees VIRGO is opposite her 18 degree PISCES MOON. The “higher law” for being secretive and manipulative may get her.

 

The HEART is a very powerful symbol in the placement of this Star.  If we stay in our heart centers, even in the Antares/ Scorpion heart we can still relate to love, in spite of our fears of aggression, attack, and our fears of survival.  

The heart of the Scorpion is undiscovered territory. It certainly is the shadow heart. that which we do not love. Are not all hearts the same? Does the Scorpion have a truly black ruthless heart or can it be reimagined, resurrected, healed? Perhaps the heart of the Scorpion has been a victim, acting unconsciously to protect their own heart and feelings? We need to go to the HIGHER HEART chakra. This would be in the above crown chakra level. Connected to the HEART of the GALAXY. 

It is very important  to align with the highest level of this MARS/SATURN ANTARES energy, to discover what we are willing to fight for and defend at this time. Astrology of Rio, Olympic predictions,

This historic day August 5, 2016, marks the first time that the Olympics have been held in the Southern Hemisphere. It signifies the Third World achieving a first world inclusion. Unfortunately when Brazil got the go ahead in 2008, the country’s economy was booming. Now it’s in one of its worst recessions in 25 years. The government is corrupt, riddled with drug dealers,  thieves and kidnappers, created by the inequality between the haves and the have-nots. Brazil is vast with enough natural resources to be one of the richest self-sustaining countries in the world. 

Let’s look at the birth chart of Rio and check out what the August 5th transits have to foretell about the Olympics. 

The City of Rio de Janeiro is a Pisces city

Rio has it’ Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and PLUTO right on the Ascendant with Mercury Retrograde in PISCES, the sign of religion, music, drugs, fraud, oil, secrets, karma, humility, the ocean, bliss, idealism, and the ending of all things. Plus Ceres, Athena and Psyche are all in PISCES. This is a city that is truly a melting pot of peoples, cultures, ethnicities. SUN PLUTO conjunction is a very rich deep soulful combo.  Pisces is the sign of the chameleon,a morphing entity. Rio is a place of fantasy, projection, romance, power and powerlessness. Rio’ is a city of compassion, and oneness, escapism, addictions, spirituality, hidden secrets and poverty. 

Rio has two mutable T-squares in its chart, pointing to Neptune in Gemini and the Moon in Pisces. This pace has a genuine spiritual power and softness behind its dreamy romantic idealistic, split nature.

The Moon is the mood of the city and in the 12th house, showing a hidden connection to Mothering, nurturing, home, and the Primal Feminine. There is a deep ancient connection to shamanism  behind the Christian religion.

The MOON is home, it is opposite JUPITER RETROGRADE in VIRGO SQUARING NEPTUNE in GEMINI.  Jupiter in Virgo is a sign of servants, poverty, accountability. That is so perfectly PLUTO on their Ascendant conjunct to the SUN, the life force. Pluto is the symbol of death, sex, rebirth, recycling, sewage, big money, power and control, the shadow, the seedy, dangerous side of life. Pisces is the symbol of Christianity and martyrdom. We can easily see all of these symbols in the myth and narrative that is modern Rio. 

PLUTO the SUN and the ASCENDANT Square the NORTH NODE  in SAGITTARIUS which is conjunct to URANUS in its natural 9th house and the SOUTH NODE in GEMINI its 3rd house of communications, P.R. local communities, childlikeness.  Rio is a very revolutionary place, always under incredible tension which its citizens must always feel. It’s very interesting that RIO was born under a Uranus Pluto square which was also reoccurring while they were getting ready for their karmic debut. 

The Square to the North Node is a karmic challenge for this city to aspire to being a world teacher, having a higher justice, reaching out to foreigners, being optimistic, expansive, intelligent. Sagittarius rules SPORTS and foreigners, and so this is very karmic to Rio’s destiny.

VENUS and MARS are conjunct in AQUARIUS, in the 11th house, indicating a non-traditional, modern, rebellious, hi-tech, freedom-loving, self-contained city,with  a detached identity. This indicates more freedom between men and woman. Rio is famous for women joyously displaying their bodies unabashedly. Venus and Mars are opposite SATURN Retrograde in LEO in the 5th house is the Patriarchy, religion, creativity, self- expression, love affairs, children, willpower, passion, the SUN.

SATURN RETROGRADE in LEO is a sign of repressed strength and will. This really puts Rio and Brazil on the world map. But it may be too much expansion too fast during a recession which Jupiter in Virgo brings. Also likely problems with crops this year.

I send blessings to the 84 at the latest count, innocent people and children, who were killed in Nice, France July 14 and to their families. The horrific news of yet another terrorist attack in France on Bastille Day, France’s National holiday celebrating the French Revolution and the storming of the Bastille in 1789 throws another huge psychic shock into the French psyche and onto the world’s stage.

Around 10:30 p.m. after a fireworks display, a French born man of Tunisian descent drove a huge 18 wheel white truck down the sidewalks filled with holiday revelers accelerated it and zig zagging for about a mile mowing down whoever was in his way. Live video footage shows people running away in panic. Shocking photos shows many mangled dead bodies lying in the street in the aftermath. The driver then came out shooting and police gunned him down. The truck was full of grenades. ISIL was shown celebrating the carnage on the Net. France is already under a three month emergency alert from the last terrorist attacks which will now continue for another three months.

This is so very sad, and shows how much damage a lone man with just a truck can do. The problem is radicalized terrorist jihadists already living in the country. This will further escalate Muslim’s being tagged, watched, deported and surveillance levels on high alert all the time in France and throughout Europe.

Lets look at the Astrology of this attack with the original Bastille day chart of July 14 1789 Paris France at 6:00 pm 

The Planets on July 14 2016 show a difficult, angry, frustrated, MOON MARS conjunction in Scorpio @ 23-24 degrees where Mars has been festering for the last while. Scorpio is the most obsessively intense emotional sign and always symbolizes death, secretive maneuvers, power and control. The Moon always represents the people, the unconscious mood, the Motherland, home. Moon Mars are trine to CHIRON, the wounded healer in PISCES, the sign of religious martyrs and secret enemies.

This is the symbol of beheading, as it symbolizes Medusa’s head. Hundreds of aristocrats were beheaded during the French Revolution. The North Node, the highest evolution, from 1789 is 28 degrees SCORPIO very close to the 2016 Mars/Moon. The past always repeats itself. That is karma. Cause and effect. 

URANUS in ARIES is conjunct ERIS the planet of discord and exactly square to the SUN, the French identity and pride at 22 degrees CANCER. Uranus and Eris in Aries are warlike, passionate, spontaneous and have to do with speed and chaos and they are in quincunx, a 150 degree difficult angle to the Moon/Mars conjunction. These energies have been simmering for awhile. Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn is trine Jupiter in Virgo and sextile the SUN in Cancer making it easy to access Plutocratic ambition for worldly fame and power.

Uranus + Eris in ARIES are sextile to CHIRON the wounded Healer in the original 1789 chart at 24 Gemini which is also inconjunct {150 degrees} to MARS and the Moon in Scorpio which is a YOD or FINGER OF GOD.  This is a karmic signature.

The SOUTH Node in PISCES symbolizing past lives, hidden enemies, illusions, delusions and addictions is conjunct NEPTUNE planet of idealism and deception. Neptune is opposite JUPITER in VIRGO. The largest planet symbolizes opportunity, expansion, foreigners, religious zealots, politics and laws. Virgo energy is the land, the harvest, serving others, order.  Both of these planets and karmic compass points are square to SATURN still RETROGRADE in SAGITTARIUS sitting on the Fixed Star ANTARES, the rival of MARS. This is such a fateful karmic  energy. Saturn is on the M.C. the High Noon position for the chart itself. 

SATURN is sextile another Fixed Star with a terrible reputation, Vindemiatrix  known as the “WIDOW MAKER” at 10 degrees LIBRA Tropical at the very center of the constellation of VIRGO. ALGOL and Vindemiatrix are connected by a much-feared 135 degree aspect called a sesquisquare or sesqui-quadrate. Both Algol and Vindemiatrix are connected to wine, something which France is famous for and which Muslims are absolutely forbidden to drink. The Arabic name for this star is Al Muredin which means the one sent forth in the Faith such as an ISIL terrorist. It seems so symbolically geared against everything that France stands for. 

Vindemiatrix is also quincunx {150 degrees} to NEPTUNE in PISCES  which is also inconjunct to the 1789 charts position of JUPITER at 6+ degrees of LEO, the sign of Kings, leaders, pride, courage, children, will power and the heart.  Apparently some parents threw their children over fences to protect them and get them out of the way of the assault truck. Where do we put out hearts now? How do we protect our children?

My intuition told me this while I wrote this article. All the Aristocracy and people in power in France who were beheaded during the Revolution have now come back as ISIL radical Muslim supporters to get even with the French people and the world. I know that sounds very weird to some but bear with me. Karma works this way. The French were right to have their revolution which overthrew the power of the few to create democracy which  set the stage for the American Revolution. But those who were killed and didn’t do their spiritual work of examining their own misdeeds and accepting their part in creating their own terrible deaths still hold onto revenge. Then they return lifetime after lifetime to exact revenge on those who they blame and scapegoat for killing them, and the meat wheel of karma continues in its carnage. That is why it is so important for every individual to look inside of themselves to own their own shadows and especially to be willing to take responsibility for every action, to let go, forgive and not be attracted back to these emotional karmic cesspools. Otherwise the original harm is repeated over and over creating ever more suffering and pain. This is what the Buddha taught.  Souls cannot evolve to higher planes of consciousness if stuck in the lower vibrations of  anger, ego and unconscious patterns. That is why compassion is so important. That is why Christ’s statement, “Father forgive them, they know not what they do.” is such an important one to remember, understand and follow. This does not mean one condones the wrong actions but one does not buy into revenge. 

More horror, more lives destroyed. Such senseless hate. We mourn with France.

At the same time CHIRON in Pisces will be Trining MARS, 

I am seeing CHIRON as more of the SHAMANIC healer which still uses and implies the wounded healer  who is a shapeshifter especially with horse medicine. All shamans were traditionally initiated by being very sick and having NDE’s which is part of their initiation. By referring to Chiron as the shamanic healer it brings more positive healing energy into the definition. One os not defined by their wound but by their ability to heal that wound. You would definitely want to look at where your native Shamanic healer is in your natal chart and how Mars will be affecting you more personally. My shamanic healer is in early Capricorn close to my Mercury in Sagittarius on the Galactic Center in my  2nd house of assets and resources.

Highest level danger, Dec. 2 -14 Red alert

RED ALERT DAYS are now to December 14 as Mars the warrior planet squares Pluto, Lord of Death on Dec. 6 as Mars also triggers the Blood Moon Eclipse point of April 4, 2015 @ 14+ degrees Libra.

There will also be a rare occultation of Venus by the Moon early on December 7th. I will write about that separately. Mars will also oppose Uranus, the planet of chaos, atomic energy, revolution and freedom  Dec. 10.

More CARDINAL CROSS energy again. It ain’t over till it’s over. These tension filled aspects are in effect for about 2 weeks.

Mars, the Warrior God, of action, testosterone driven, aggressive, violent and defensive has been approaching a very intense square- a hard aspect with  PLUTO, Lord of Death and Rebirth which is exact on December 6th. The tragic San Bernardino shootings on Dec 2 is one such aspect of that Mars/Pluto Scorpion-like energy.  I send prayers to all the victims and their families. Yes there have been more and more Terrorist attacks and mass shootings in the U.S. than ever before. These degrees have been under incredible tension since 9/11. see end of article. 

Mars,  weakened in Libra right now, performs in a passive-aggressive manner. Mars will still pack a very powerful punch in more ways than one  as he travels through the peak energy middle degrees now.

Mars catalyzing the eclipse degree can bring on hostility and tension which has been brewing since then. Trying to get some peace and balance is very difficult right now. I predict HIGH ALERT DANGER from Terrorist attacks, planes shot down, very chaotic wild energy, explosions, volcanic eruptions, high winds and erratic weather. It will most certainly be difficult in reaching negotiations such as the Paris Climate Conference now. Everyone will have short fuses, tempers will be very short. Be careful as best you can, not to trigger anyone, you may feel like you are walking on eggshells.

Deep breathing and daily meditation is essential in these Intensely walking on a razor’s edge times.

December 9-10 when Mars opposes URANUS,  brings even more chaos into the mix and keeping that red alert button on High.   Uranus and Pluto both rule Nuclear energy. This is a very dangerous time. There could be nuclear bombs exploded, or leaks at Nuclear Power Plants, or stolen nuclear weapons, hostage takings, or  simply mass chaos and numerous violent outbursts. If it wasn’t enough that already we hear about  Muslim Terrorist attacks all over the world  almost daily and mass shootings in the U.S. too often.  Countries with planets at mid-Cardinal Degrees are likely to be affected the most. The U.S. Sun at 13+ degrees Cancer, the Philipines, Saudi Arabia, Libya.

The Tower Card in the Tarot was the literal Archetype that the world experienced at 9/11. Astrologically that tragic event was also triggered by planets. Saturn at 14+ degrees of Gemini,and Pluto was at 12+ degrees of Sagittarius sitting on the U.S. Ascendant at 12 degrees Sagittarius in the Sibley chart.

The first attack at 8:46 am on 9/11  had Mercury and the Ascendant  at 14+ degrees of LIBRA!

 These degrees will be reactivated as Saturn touches the Pluto degree starting in January 2016 then opposes Saturn’s degree until early March. Then from mid- April with Saturn Retrograde passing again over 12 and 14 degrees Sagittarius till the end of May.  

JUPITER in VIRGO starts to square Saturn right at the Spring Equinox of 2016 which also features a lunar Eclipse on March 23 at 3 degrees Libra.  Jupiter and Saturn will be in a very tight square within an orb of 2 degrees for three months from early March until early June. 

Saturn will cross the degrees again from early October to Mid-November moving Direct.

NOTE: JUPITER will cross the 12-14 degrees of LIBRA in November 2016 also reactivating the Cardinal Cross energy. On June 1st Neptune gets into the picture at 12 degrees Pisces being within 2 degrees of an exact opposition to Jupiter. These two planets of expansion, justice, laws, foreigners, and Pisces fantasy,and delusion will bring another level of awareness, compassion, worry, smoke, and religious worship, danger from viruses, gases and other invisible and karmic enemies into the picture. 

Pluto will still be applying to square the Cardinal Cross degrees from 2015 for all of 2016. 

Venus has just entered Scorpio on December 4. Venus and Mars are in mutual reception until December 29 when Venus enters Sagittarius. That means they aid and abet each each other. Venus is acting as the warrior bad cop now and Mars is the nice guy good cop. We will see how much influence this mutual reception has on toning down Mr. Mars’ usual warrior action.

DEEPER MEANINGS

There is a Fixed Star at 2+ degrees of Sagittarius Tropical Zodiac where Saturn Retrograde is. Its named Isidis which is most likely connected to the Egyptian Goddess Isis. This star was called Jia Jan Ju Sur which means the forbidden Tree of Life in Eden in ancient Mesopotamian. The Star is the forehead of the constellation Scorpio, where the 3rd eye would be.
