Bipolar Gemini Time Astrology by Tara Greene

Gemini the sign of the naturally bi-polar TWINS, known as a “FUN da MENTAL”  sign. I made that up years ago. It’s a fast paced sign and month of mind games, light-headed, shall we say Air Head? Social butterfly, changing partners, do- see doe-ing, dodging being committed, all the while smiling charmingly in general. I mean no harm to bipolar people and their suffering.

GEMINI is Ruled by that fancy hatted and shoe’d fleet- footed messenger of the Gods –MERCURY, the planet. MERCURY is  consciousness, intelligence, analysis, communications. Our minds have two sides, two lobes, that’s why Mercury is a dual sign. 

Because MERCURY is RETROGRADE in TAURUS as Sun enters GEMINI and almost at standstill turning Direct May 22nd, the energy will be kind of at a standstill for the weekend, inspite of a Sagittarius FUll Moon.  It would be wise to wait till June 7th before really initiating anything new, when Mercury is back to 23+ degrees Taurus on June 7 and bypassed it’s Retrograde degree.

Venus will enter GEMINI May 24 and oppose Mars on the same day-

We will be loving all that duality. The polarity will get stronger.

This is very romantic and idealistic. Watch out for fast talkers and too good to be true deals. Craziness, delusional, fantasies, denial. everywhere.

the times they are getting serious. Gemini is a time of splitting hairs, fractiousness will get stronger in politics.

Things are tense but adaptable. This is during the big primaries in the U.S. 

June 6 SUN Conjuncts VENUS in the SACRED MARRIAGE, Superior Conjunction at 16 degrees GEMINI.

Venus is in the Underworld already and invisible to us for a while now. This is the same star point in Venus cycle as 8 years ago or 4 years ago at the famous Venus transit of the Sun in 2012 with Venus Retrograde. Doesn’t that seem like aeons ago?

Tired Mars Retrograde and Saturn on my Moon

I don’t know about you,and even though I am in Beautiful Magical Sedona I am feeling tired. It is Mars retrograde slowing e and most likely yo too; down, down ,down. I do manage to do a lot. I just figured out how to edit a video for the first time and to  upload it, its’ a bit more complicated and I’m not used to a software change and I don’t really know how to work this simple software. I used to make and edit video’s by hand years ago when I was in Art College and I loved it.

Anyways with SATURN still on my Moon and recrossing it Retrograde over the next few months should I be feeling more perky? Astrologer Know thyself.  What would  I tell a client undergoing this transit? 

“Expect to feel emotionally exhausted, it is a depressing, maturing, testing time. Everything feels like it takes so much effort,to do anything. You are feeling heavy. You energy is low. There are obstacle at home- my husband has ripped up our main bathroom and is renovating it while I am here. He has run into one problem after another with plumbing- which used to be made from lead Saturn’s metal. “You feel tired and that is to be expected. “

I don’t mean to ramble on here. I know many of you are going through the same sort of energies. PLUS Mars Retrograde.

all of the late 60’s GENer’s have natal URANUS PLUTO in mid degrees of VIRGO and they are getting that Jupiter Saturn double whammy.

it is stick to hard work, grounded, focused energy, pay attention to the details. Which I would if  Neptune weren’t also squaring my Natal Moon I am only wanting to do spiritual work, dream and be creative. It makes me want to avoid doing all that heavy stuff that Saturn demands. You know that one. It’s called ennui. I wish I had magic helpers. I have no physical addictions. I quit smoking 8 years ago, I can’t drink, i don’t gamble or do drugs. I can do a bit of junk food, I rarely watch TV, I hate shopping and am an anti-consumer.  I have no escapes except to dream intuitively. 

Anyways Moon is in LIBRA, SUN is in Taurus and they are inconjunct each other exact on the 18th @ 28 degrees TAURUS on ALGOL/MEDUSA/ SARASWATI again being activated.  The Mood may be very stubborn.

Vesta has entered GEMINI our focus is to balance the dual channels of the mind.

Saturn Neptune square,Visionary arts

The upcoming MAJOR ASPECT of 2016 is the SATURN in SAGITTARIUS square to NEPTUNE in PISCES is exact on June 17th with Saturn still Retrograde @ 12+ degrees. Neptune is the Source of all creation and Saturn births spirit into form.  Both of these planets have many aspects to each of them. May Day,stag, Goddess, Fairies

ah May Day, we are mid-way to summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. The Pleiades stars rise before sunrise on the morning horizon.  These 7 sisters are considered to be one  of the main constellations from which our ancestors came.  This is a very special NUMINOUS day. 

This is one of the four Non- Cardinal days celebrated since almost time out of mind. These days are the movers and shakers of the wheel of the year.

Beltane begins the eve of, on April 30 the NIGHT BEFORE Beltane. Food left over from April 30 must not be eaten and should be left for the fairies as an offering.  

April 30 May eve and Beltane exist in a LIMINAL “no time” when the viels between the worlds are thinnest, just like Halloween, the counterbalance to this festival of conception.The worlds of reality {Saturn}  and magic {Jupiter}  intermingle.

FAIRIES

The Faeries are said to return from their winter rest, full of faery mischief and delight. 
It is said that the Queen of the Faeries rides out on her white horse. It is possible to see her as she appears in this world if you call her and seek her out. But be careful not to be tempted to go into the Fairy world.

Beltane bonfires are lit, and their flames, smoke and ashes have protective powers.  In ancient times people and their cattle would walk around the bonfire or between two bonfires, and sometimes leap over the flames or embers calling out their new intentions. All household fires would be doused and re-lit from Beltane bonfire.

Walk around candles with your pets. be careful of the fire. 

SEXUAL CELEBRATION OF LIFE

The day celebrates the The SACRED MARRIAGE, the Heiros Gamos day, Divine Sexual Union and fertility. 

It is the day of the MAY QUEEN and her consort, Cernunnos the horned God/PAN, making love in the fields to fertilize them. 

Cernunnos, or PAN, the half goat/human, the sexually potent stag of the forest is one of the main male Gods worshipped this day. He is portrayed with a beard and wild, shaggy hair and he wears a crown of antlers.

FLora, the May Queen is the Goddess of the flowers and the fertile beautiful earth Goddess, she is a young blushing maiden and she is a princess of the fae or fairies.  She was Guinevere in the Arthurian cycle. Offerings are made be wearing a floral crown and milk and honey. 

Young lads and lasses would go into the forest at night to make love with a masked stranger acting as the God and Goddess embodied. Children conceived this night would be considered especially blessed and of the Goddess, to have special psychic powers. . These children would be born around Feb 1st.  

The day of the dance around the May Pole with participants weaving the web of life as they interconnect their ribbons. The original May pole must have been a living tree, symbolizing the Tree of Life.

BELTANE RITUAL

Be outside for Beltane if you can. If not then  use lots of candles, or a table-top brazier. A small cast iron cauldron on a  tile can be used to. 

Weave ribbons together or bread or paper. 

Have fruits symbols of sweetness, like cherries, pomegranates, peaches or apples. 

Have lots of flowers too. make garlands. 

CELEBRATE> Make love, dance since, drum, be joyous.

If you are single  don’t worry or be sad. {and I am married but will be in Sedona on my own}. Call in your Beloved, the Sacred Marriage partner to be with you.  Do tantric breathing exercise to open your chakras. You can do fire-breathing to experience orgasms.  This is a celebration of the beauty of human sexuality and divine love. Imagine your beloved being with you. Put out the intention that you are united with your beloved, ask them to materialize in the next 9 months.

Leave offerings to the fairies.

I will be doing ceremony here in Sedona and sending you all Blessings. I went to a Beltane sound healing ritual here led by an amazing musicians who calls himself Three Trees. I have been to a few other of his sessions. It was amazing,  like a drug trip with no drugs. Like a Holotropic breathwork journey.  The intention was to bring in new energy, will, fire passion and to fertilize that. Also to send out the energy to the world. As each one of us does our own individual work we help to heal the world. Three Trees plays drums, didgeridoo, flutes, hang drums, sings and chants. He has a beautiful voice and seems to sing in ancient unknown languages. 

Three Trees played a didgeridoo that had last been played in the King’s Chamber in Egypt. The chamber room resonated to the key of B. which is the CROWN CHAKRA and I saw this in my vision and then he spoke about it.  Tone B and visualize your crown chakra opening.
