10 of WANDS

One World tarot deck 

The #10 is the farthest one can go in the minor elements. 10 symbolizes finality.

It is one to the next highest degree. There are 10 Sephiroth in the KABBALAH  of which the Tarot structure has been linked to. 10 symbolizes oneness to Infinity. So it signifies the culmination, or orgasm of each element. The 10’s begin next as one’s.  They are a karmic number endings and new beginnings, you can’t have one without the other.

In most decks this is a difficult transition card. Referred to as the Lords of Oppression. With an inferred meaning of being beaten down by karma. The card  is traditionally under the influence  of Saturn in Sagittarius. Saturn always tests, matures, grounds whatever it touches. This card governs the Sagittarius degrees from 21 degrees of Sagittarius to 29.59 degrees of the 9th sign or those born between Dec 13-21 which is the transition from the third decan of Sagittarius into the Saturn ruled Capricorn sign. So that makes sense. It is a wiser having been burnt a few times Sagittarian sage and teacher.

The Number 10 in the Tarot Trumps is The WHEEL of Fortune Jupiter, which is now in such positive aspects to the Sun. In Numerology #19 the SUN is equal to # 10 when  added as individual numbers 1 + 9 =10.

I see this card as a spiritual epiphany.

MEANING

Wands is fire and this card symbolizes to me the Ultimate Fire, the, sacrifical fire, the funeral pyre of those old intentions and actions, the reclaiming fire, the fire of the Phoenix rising from the ashes. If used intentionally one can gain great insight by turning the forces that oppress us into a guiding light for others. The 10 wands can be a blaze of  light and courage, lighting up the dark forces, so they are fully illuminated,blowing the whistle so that everyone can see in the dark.

I have to think about the very brave Edward Snowden who is the 10 of wands who is leading the gullible people out of the ignorance and dark. He is one of my latest heroes like Julian Assange and Anonymous. These are the new revolutionaries, putting their own lives in danger to do the right ethically correct thing. In a world where good and bad, are very confused and the standards lowering. It is not Bible thumping morals but truth. Good old Sagittarius cant help it, I have to tell the truth.

As a triple Sagittarius, I have to tell it like it is.
