Dreamy Virgo New Moon Numerology

The New Moon marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year. HAPPY ROSH HASHANAH  to my family, friends and clients.

It’s a dark moon in Virgo September 9th whose Numerology is 9/9/18 =1 + 8 =9. This adds up to triple 9 a time of closure endings and a need to use this New moon cycle to be a Hermit The # 9 the Hermit in the Tarot. 

The New Moon also carries a very spiritual message as Neptune the planetary ruler of Pisces opposes the Sun and Moon at 17 degrees 00 minutes Virgo @ 11:01 am PDT/ 2:01 pm EDT/ 6:01 am GMT.

All New Moon’s are the most fertile dark feminine times of the Month. This is the time to go deeply within. The Dark Moon is the womb itself, the cauldron of rebirth and magic the darkness which holds all potential. In Virgo, this is very physically aligned with our digestive systems and with our dedication of ourselves to serve and steward the earth, our work communities pets and health. 

The overall tone of this New moon is to honour the body, the earth, the environment, and with perfecting ourselves working on our health and purifying our minds too as Mercury rules Virgo.

The New Moon is conjunct to Fixed Star Asterion which means Starry. It is in the constellation Canes Venatici -the Hound Dogs. A recently added constellation which features two dogs. The Northern hound is called Asterion and contains M51 Copula. Asterion means Starry. The Southern Hound is called Chara which is the root word for charity or Joy or Dear contains another star. Cor Caroli. Means dear to her master.

This would be a great time to tune into the messages from these cosmic hounds man’s best starry friends. It makes me think of Elvis Presley’s very early hit You Ain’t Nothin’ But a Houndog.

The balance between the very humble practical Virgo earth energy and Neptune the planet of spirituality, of the unreal, the imaginal, the creative, ephemeral, spiritual, our dreams, the oceanic oneness of source that we all come from is what we need to balance at this new Moon. 

PLUTO is trining the Sun and Moon from Capricorn 

bringing a depth of soul wealth to us if we just tune into our soul’s deepest desires. This is extremely empowering, Pluto in Capricorn is also grounded, practical, resourceful and focussed on the goal. PLuto’s blessings are rare and special. Use this New moon to totally realign your soul’s path and your body and soul’s interconnection.

JUPITER the great benefic also applies by a sextile to the sun and Moon. Jupiter and Pluto on their own ar sextile to each other at 18+ degrees. This benefits anyone with 18+ Taurus energy.

The Grand Earth trine of Saturn in Capricorn, Uranus in Taurus and Mercury in Virgo the ruling disposition of this Virgo New Moon is still on. This blesses us all with earth blessings, with the wonder and beauty of being human on the earth plane. 

Saturn squares Chiron @ 9 degrees ARIES and Ceres @ 1 degree LIBRA

This is a very significant and powerful healing- T-square with Chiron at the very beginning of the Zodiac and Ceres at the Autumn Equinox point. It indicates a karmic change in the way humans honour relationships in business to each other, to the earth mother, their bodies and the spirits.

VENUS is at zero degrees SCORPIO indicating a new beginning in soul love, self- transformation and deep psychological insights.
Venus is still squaring Mars at 29 Capricorn.
Their next square beside the one we just had will be on October 10with Venus at 10 degrees a Scorpio and Mars at 10 degrees Aquarius.

VENUS is opposing URANUS in TAURUS and squaring the Nodes

Anything can happen in love, luck, money and creativity now.

Venus governs Taurus and those born 8-10 days or so into the sign will be feeling this pressure to loosen up to get a complete makeover is strong. Pure lust, Venus conjunct Jupiter again

There are lots of amazing energies coming up this week.

The first is August 4

Venus Retro conjunct Jupiter at 28 degrees Leo is super positive, pure lust, a repeat of the previous conjunction on July 1st on a Full Moon in Capricorn at 21+ degrees Leo. SUPER PASSIONATE!

The degree will also get incendiary with Venus moving Direct on September 27 on the next Total Lunar Eclipse!!!! HOT STUFF!

The #17 came up in my Blue Full Moon Aquarius Meditation. According to the Kabbalah the number 17 is ruled by Venus. Uranus, Aquarius’s ruling planet has just gone Retrograde and will turn Direct Christmas day at the 17^th degree. Every 17^th degree is considered to be under Venus’ rulership in any sign. Seventeen is a number of looking for the spiritual Light in every sign.

Mountain Lion has shown up today to show you about the use of power in positions of  leadership. Sure there’s a few interesting pieces, usually always by foreign artists.  The art needs to be something commercial that the public can relate to. Makes the Scotia Bank look good, they write all the expenses off.

Road Runner feathers are considered powerful as fetishes and used by the Hopi and Zuni Indians.
