One of my favourite artists is surrealist Max Ernst. Max Ernst lived in Sedona Arizona in the 1940’s after dreaming of its surreal red rock landscape since he was a boy in Germany. Sedona called me to live there too. It is my spiritual home. I have always loved art. I told my mother when I was nine years old that I was going to be an artist. I loved to draw and write poems, I was taking dance lessons all the time since I was five years old. I sang and did pantomime shows.

I knew that being an artist gave me a license to be free.  I went to a Technical high school to major in Art. It was very rigorous, all afternoon was life drawing, photography, commercial arts, ceramics, interior design, marketing, we had to go to the Museum every weekend and paint from one of the galleries in a realist style. We were taught egg tempera, charcoal and a whole host of techniques. 

I studied art history since grade 10 and loved it and had an amazing art history teacher who I will never forget Mr. Walmsley. He taught world art history in chronological order. So we knew what was going on in Chinese, Indian and other cultures at the same time.

It was in a Grade 11 Art History class when I first saw the photograph of the bare-breasted, wasp-waisted, Cretan Snake holding Goddess and it smacked my consciousness awake. I remembered her. That was the beginning of my first consciousness awakening to the past life memories of being a High Priestess. I’d been dreaming of being a Sacred Tantric Priestess almost every night since I was five years old. I had no idea consciously what those intense dreams were all about I was just a kid in this life. 

Jump to February 1986 my ex-husband and I had been wanting to travel since we first got married. I wanted to go to Bali since 1979 but he thought it would be too weird. A friend mentioned Sedona Arizona to me and the Bell rang literally and said you have to move there.  He said OMG that’s the place my fave artist Max Ernst lived there. I have always been a fan of surrealism. Dali was my fave artist. I knew of Max Ernst but didn’t know he and his artist wife Dorothy Tanning moved there in the ’40s.  We arrived in Sedona for the first time on Spring Equinox in 1987 with our son Elijah who was three at the time. We began searching for Max Ernst’s house. We talked to many older folks who said yes they knew of him or had heard of him. The most we could find was that his house was on Brewer Road which you can see in the photographs of him with his famous Capricorn sculpture.

I also found out that Aleister Crowley’s assistant Israel Regardie had been living in Sedona in 1987 with the rumoured original Lady Frieda Harris paintings of the Thoth Tarot too. The one which I later chose as my first tarot deck to learn from. The plot thickens.

If you don’t know of Max Ernst art he was a famous surrealist artist whose vision was very unique and instantly identifiable. He unknowingly been dreaming of Sedona’s landscapes in war-torn Germany since he was young. After escaping the Nazis and made it to America with the help of Peggy Guggenheim who he briefly married. Max and his wife, artist Dorothy Tanning were driving across the U.S. and they found Sedona off the beaten path. Max recognized its sacred red rock and surrealist landscapes from his dreams and they moved there. If you know Sedona there was the “Y” intersection and one store the Sedona Market at that intersection, a post office, and a couple of restaurants in those days.  Four hundred people lived in Sedona in the 40’s. Max is a fantastic artist who never changed his principles. He invented a number of techniques. 

ASTROLOGY

Ernst was an Aries born April 2, 1891 in Bruhl Germany at 10:30 am.

His Moon is in CAPRICORN right on his Descendant and he built the famous Capricorn sculpture in Sedona probably influenced by that. 

He had a very creative Venus Jupiter in Pisces conjunction in his 9th house of foreigners, women, arts, spirituality, dreaming. He was married four times to women of different nationalities. This is a bountifully creative and protected lucky aspect

Sun in Airs in his 10th house of worldly fame with Mercury too. 

He had an earthy sensual Mars in Taurus and a Neptune Pluto conjunction in Gemini. With Pluto exactly on his North Node. Max was a very old soul who knew what his destiny was to communicate from his soul. He had a dual nature and his mind was very fresh inventive and open. He had the gift of soul communication. With Saturn in Virgo he was a hard-working, simple, perfectionist and quite modest.  Uranus at 0 Scorpio trines Venus gave him the gift of being totally unique as an artist. His ideas were ahead of his times, Max was unconventional to his core. He was a true Bohemian. His work is truly fascinating and inspiring.

I am missing Sedona even though I speak to my friends there every day. I cant wait to go back and stay for awhile and lead ceremonies again.

Love, Power and wealth Venus squares Pluto

Venus, the planetary goddess of women, love, creativity and luxury is in her day rulership of Libra ♎️ sign of relationships, Justice, and karma, forming a stressful aspect to Pluto, planet of power, death, rebirth, the psyche which means soul, and massive wealth. That’s why the 1% are called plutocrats.

Venus in the tarot is ## The EMPRESS and Pluto was not traditionally associated with any card in the Tarot but as the Modern ruler of Scorpio it would be the card #13 which is Scorpio which Pluto would be associated with as Lord of DEATH /Hades the Underworld.

This is a rebalancing of the collective unconscious for justice. We saw this in the climate strikes led by young Greta Thunberg. This energy also includes rebalancing rights for women, for those who have been raped as Duchess a Meghan spoke about the other day in South Africa and rights for human trafficking. Pluto rules all underworld, sexual activity, rape, torture, kidnapping, secrets and deep state controlling influences in Capricorn.

Relationship will be intense today. Pluto’s influence is always to destroy the status quo, for better or for worse.

Deep psychological insights can pour through today. Libras you cannot do your nice act today or it may blow up in your faces. Sit with the truth in your soul today. Love your soul and let your soul love you. Libra is the 2-way street,

Big power issues are hanging in the balance. Financial markets may take a big tumble.

This aspect squares Donald Trump ‘s Saturn almost exactly and his Venus and his Jupiter too. We’ll have to see how that goes down for him.

Is a very karmic Dark Black Moon for correcting and healing relationship imbalances both personal and in the entire world that need to be corrected big time! It should nake you feel weak in the knees and boundlessly optimistic and romantic too.

Sun Moon @ 5+ degrees Libra ♎️ opposes Chiron the Wounded Healer in Aries ♈️.

This can be a time of feeling very vulnerable weak and wounded. If you’re wondering where I have been, in transit from Toronto to Sedona. My energy gets very wired up and activated when I’m here. My suitcase got lost in Phoenix,  as I hadn’t intended to check it, i never do. I picked up another woman’s by mistake. I blew a couple of computer mouses, mine and my friend who I am staying with for a few days here and my online banking froze me out. Now the power went off here on Sedona and Phoenix too. It’s not my fault. It was wonderful to have total quiet. I went outside to see the stars but it is a bit overcast

It’s an almost New Moon and so the big blessing, as of it wasn’t quiet enough here, is that the skies are absolutely totally black-like a hole black.

July 27- Leo Sun trines Chiron @ 5 degrees Aries today. Whatever vulnerabilities you felt will continue for the next few days.

Leo Sun is Trine Chiron, the Wounded healer shaman at 5 Aries and Trine Ceres, the now dwarf planet at 0 Sagittarius.

Ceres, Is the Great Mother in all of her thousands of aspects. The Greeks called her Demeter, to Catholics she is Mother Mary, she is Green Tara, the mother of Compassion and a female Buddha. or Qwan Yin. She brings unconditional mother love to all of her children, this means you. She comes to kiss and heal your boo-boos. Ceres in Sagittarius will most likely Tickle your funny bone to make your heavier wounds a bit lighter. She will tell you stories as metaphors for your journey like your mom did reading to you at night as a child. Asteroid ATHENA  @ 24 Leo trines Sexual Priestess Goddess VESTA @ 24 Sagittarius and trines ERIS @ 23 59 minutes of Aries exact August 23 continuing for a little while.

This is such a powerful energy. 

ERIS hardly moves. She takes 560 years- 7 longer than average lifetimes of 80 years to make one complete transit of the sun. Eris takes .6428+ of a year to move one degree. That means in your average lifetime Eris will only move 5 degrees or so. She was discovered in 2005. She has traveled through ARIES for the last approximately 372 years ago since 1646. She was at this same degree in 1458.

The Byzantine empire fell in 1453.- a very big deal. This is in the middle of the great culture Renaissance in Italy 1400-1475.

Eris is her Greek name. She was known as DISCORDIA by the Romans she is the personification of Strife and daughter of Nyx -Night by Hesiod a sister to ARES/Mars the war God. She is the warrioress Goddess. Her story is this. She alone of the Gods and Goddesses was not invited to the marriage of Peleus and Thetis she threw a golden apple among the guests inscribed “for the most beautiful.”  Hera/ Juno Athena and Aphrodite/Venus all claimed it.  They fought and Zeus/Her/Juno’s husband assigned the decision to Paris who was a Sheppard on Mount Ida. He said Aphrodite deserved it. She helped him win the hand of Helen of Troy which started the infamous Trojan War.  

She is the archetype of the denied dark feminine and she is royally pissed and she has a right to feel that way as her Goddess powers have been denied and aggressively suppressed and abused for so long by the Patriarchy and World Religions.

Eris is the 13th uninvited Fairy or guest in the Sleeping Beauty story. Eris symbolizes any overlooked unconscious shadow part of our personal and collective shadows which we do not welcome. That part has enormous power and strength and will wreak vengeance as a result of being ignored.  

Athena the warrior Goddess is the patriarchal version of an Amazon warrioress from Libya. 

Vesta is the sacred tantric sexual healing priestess how I have written about elsewhere in my site.

This aspect has been in effect since Aug 24 and continues until Athena and Vesta move to 28 degrees 59 minutes of Leo which conjuncts Fixed Star Regulus and 28.59 Sagittarius when they are conjunct to Galactic Center in Sagittarius.

I’m going to check out Ariana Grande’s astrology chart to see how prominent these goddesses affect her.

Pisces Full Moon Bliss dreams and endings

The Full Moon in Pisces Sept. 6 marks the completion of the Moon’s journey through all 12 of the Zodiac signs. A full Moon is a fullfilment of the Moon’s cycle The Pisces Full Moon marks the time for spiritual completions forgiveness and compassion @ 12:02 am PDT/3:02 am EDT/8:02 am GMT.

After the Intense Fiery energy of the Total Solar Eclipse two weeks ago we are now cooling down the passions in a watery blissed out state. 

There is still the Grand Fire Trine of North Node in Leo with Mercury on the eclipse degree trining Uranus + Eris in ARIES and SATURN + LILITH in SAGITTARIUS which may also super heat the emotional spiritual soupy nature of this lunation to a boil.

NEPTUNE the planetary ruler of PISCES is conjunct the MOON @ 13 degrees. There is a super powerful T-square from the Moon and NEPTUNE and the Virgo SUN to The GREAT ATTRACTOR @ 14 degrees SAGITTARIUS.  Known as Abell 3627 we don’t know exactly what it is but it sucks in so many galaxies that it actually bends light around it. Not quite a black hole more like a Quazar it has a strong ultra-violet shift. 

Intuitively this powerful very spiritual FULL MOON feels like a Violet Flame in the darkness to help lost souls find their way.  This is a time of spiritual and karmic completions on all levels emotionally spiritually and physically as the Sun is in Virgo and Saturn in SAGITTARIUS the planet of karma and endings squares the Full moon and the sun. 

Pisces is the sign of releasing flowing letting go compassion and forgiveness. The hard karmic lessons that Saturn in Sagittarius has been delivering to all of us may be fully felt from the depths of our beings. You will be feeling very emotional super sensitive and wanting to be quiet in retreat and turned inwards in meditation at this time. 

ADDICTIONS DENIAL CO-DEPENDENCY GURU WORKSHIP 

Your psychic energies and telepathy will be extra strong as will your dreams. Saturn’s lesson is to make sure you face reality and have strong boundaries. This is one of  PISCES biggest hardest lesson on the earth plane. For many, this will be difficult. Pisces tendency to avoidance through denial fantasy delusion; guru and glamour worship and all addictions are a major issue that must be faced head on now. The opioids disaster in the U.S. is out of control. Millions of people are on anti-depressants kids are full of drugs for ADD ADHD and autism. The real wounds that are souls are suffering must be recognized and the avoidance of the real pain and suffering must be fully felt in order to heal.

SATURN is the karmic cosmic cop and he ensures that you will hit the wall for however out of balance you are with your true self your HIGHER Self denying your soul’s pain. The cost may be terrifically high. Sometimes that’s what it takes.  Remember that the LEO Eclipses shadow is pride arrogance ego and that will take a beating now. 

A.A. works because when we take Saturn responsibility for creating suffering in our lives then  we ask forgiveness we find peace when we “give it up to spirit.” Alcohol means spirit. Spirit always works through puns.

PISCES and VIRGO teach humility being of service to our communities and to Spirit. Face the music be mature enough to name your demons and to be compassionate with your human self and to connect with spirit authentically with the Source from which you were birthed and to which you will return.

Spend time near water around the Full Moon. Have a ritual bath with rose-water or lavender oil candles incense and soft music. Immerse yourself and drift back to being in the womb of your mother and connect to the Holy Womb of the Divine Mother who births all. The unconditional love of the Great mother will soothe and heal you and help you to know you have never left Her.

Pisces is the sign of the dream and the dreamers. Life is a dream. It is the dream our souls are having which we think is “real life.” When we are “awake” we are still dreaming. The key is to wake up in this dream called life and realize you as the dreamer create it all. 

Pisces is the sign of artists creativity music dance film and photography. Spend some time while the moon is still full painting with water colors allowing your soul to express whatever it feels. Keep track of your dreams. Sounding authentic movement past life regression and energy healing fit perfectly.

 

ENDINGS

What do you need to let go of? Who do you need to forgive? You need to let go of needing someone else to be wrong or to lay blame on a situation. Be compassionate with yourself first and foremost. If it doesn’t feel right to forgive someone don’t force it ever. Be authentic with what you feel. Trust that karma will balance it all out.

North Node and Mercury in LEO sextile Jupiter in LIBRA sextile Saturn in SAGITTARIUS sextile the SOUTH NODE in AQUARIUS sextile URANUS and ERIS in ARIES sextile to the North STAR in Gemini sextile back to the North Node.    This is a very powerful image of balancing the masculine and feminine and creating the Merkaba light body vehicle to connect with our higher Holy selves.

Use this Full Moon to vision quest to meditate to dream with to clear a path for new soul growth and expansion. Put your crystal out under the Full Moons light to receive the energy.

This is a BIG ASPECT. Mars at 13 degrees CANCER. Mars is sitting exactly conjunct to the U.S. SUN and the STAR SIRIUS. The masculine needs to integrate its feminine side so bad. We are seeing more Republican ultra-conservative Bible belting backlash happening. This is all defenses against the inevitable rise of the Divine Feminine. These guys are DEVO. They cannot survive or win in trying to legislate women’s ability to control their own reproductive lives. Get active and legislate, Libra is Justice. 

With love, correct all the imbalances in your life and relationships Nurturing love and caring to your “other” brings more healing.

Galactic truths and major sign changes

April 17 Sun in ARIES trines {120 degrees} Saturn and the Galactic Center @ 27 degrees Sagittarius.

This brings fresh new life force energy, optimism, justice, truth and knowing that Sacred Law is backing one’s highest truth up. Believe it, have faith, speak it, enlighten and inspire others with it. I am fully committed to this now in my life.

But we are also feeling the wounds and our vulnerability.

Venus conjunct Chiron @ 26 degrees Pisces square Saturn @ 27 Sagittarius  EXACT on 21st

Old karmic wounds have been re-triggered as Saturn turned RETROGRADE on the 6th. We may be feeling vulnerable and wounded whether we feel self-righteous or victimized.

Chiron in PISCES is the real deal shamanic spiritual healer. Traditionally all shamans gain their cred. by being seriously wounded, it is in staying present to their wounds that they go through them, feel them fully and in the process, gain wisdom knowledge, health and wholeness and become shamans themselves. 

The Moon stays in Capricorn until the 19th. It will be VOID of course for very short times this week which is rather unusual. 

On the 19th the SUN enters stable fixed TAURUS

This is time to enjoy the beauty of living in the 3rd dimension. Be sensual, indulge yourself. Start digging your garden, planting your flowers and smelling the roses. Being in nature is very healing and enhances your sense of peace.

20th PLUTO turns RETROGRADE @19+ degrees Capricorn-September 28 @ 16+ degrees

Pluto joins the RETROGRADE club. OUr deepest darkest psychological issues and shadows get raked over hell’s coals to purify them. While this can be painful it is necessary and purifying. Doing shadow work is all about peeling off the layers and going deeper and deeper into on’e soul essence.

A back assed new beginning. Kind of a breech birth of communications. 

April 21 Sun trines North Node@ 1 degree Virgo

Be clear about your intentions. Virgo pays attention to every single minute detail.Stay embodied. Do your diligence with pleasure, work to be of service. Your upper intestine may be irritable or sensitive. Watch what you eat try not to stress.

21. MARS enters GEMINI

The Mind starts moving at top speed. Get up off of that thing and speak your mind, shout it from the rooftops. You may get so energized you start to multitask. Be careful not to go into your head and become unable to choose what you want or don’t want.
