Happy Solstice, standstill Astrology

Happy Summer Solstice in the Northern hemisphere and happy Winter solstice down under. This is one of the four foundational points in the year.

Also Called Litha to the pagans. Our ancestors participated in solstice rituals and ceremonies since before recorded time. The sun God king was sacrificed symbolically as the light gives way to night, we are at the 1/2 way point in the year. The feminine yin energies begin to ascend peaking at winter solstice and around and around and around it goes.

At Stonehenge, at the Callanish standing stones in Scotland, at the mesa at Chaco Canyon in New Mexico where the Sun dagger appears on this date, at the pyramids, at every ancient calendrical sire everyone, everywhere participated in the turning of the wheel of the year.

Cancer season is ruled by the Moon. The Moon is in Aries ♈️ conjunct jovial Jupiter. Mars governs Aries and it’s in its home sign..

This is a war signature. Whether it’s a war with Russia or China that the U.S. is pushing for or the people going to war against the government or over gun restrictions that’s all part of the signature. This is New initiatives, new beginnings, people will be angry, aggressive, competitive, short tempered, impatient, defensive. This is about gun laws too.

5 things to help your love crises

Venus is almost stationary now, approaching her Retrograde phase July 25. Venus at zero degrees Virgo, is renewing Herself, she is returning to her pristine Virgin state in the sign of the Virgo the Virgin of course.

This symbolizes to me, that we have reached a new stage of evolution. Virgo, the 6th sign symbolizes the capacity to embody communications. Mercury rules the Mutable earth sign. Speech is related to power and to sex.  Venus is female sex, whereas Mars is Masculine sexuality.

For me I see Venus’s Retrograde symbolizing a time for women to learn to love, honor, explore, respect and embody their power and their voices. It’s also about your self-worth. Venus is VALUE. How much do you really LOVE yourself?

Venus in Virgo is into order, details, learning, memory, perfection. Venus the Goddess is perfect after all.

The Vestal Virgins are symbolized by  the asteroid Vesta. But I believe that Virgo was the Virgin meaning whole and complete inside of herself ,very ancient Goddess that these Virgins worshipped, she was more like Demeter/Ceres or Gaia.

Women need to learn to explore and enjoy and care for their bodies. Venus loves pleasure. As Virgo has a solitary side, being the Hermit in the Tarot, Venus in Virgo symbolizes learning to love and pleasure you self..

Venus’s Retrograde phase will see the Goddess of love and money return to reorganize, remind, retire, remodel, regenerate, refuse, relish, rewind, retry, relegate, review her assets and to relax in Leo, sign of passion, hi- DRAMA, heart, will, giving love, love affairs, children, and creative self-expression until September 6.

5 things to do when you love life falls apart over the next 40 day Retrobate period.

1. Make an alter to Venus, you can set this up in any space. This alter honors the Goddess and it should contain blue, gauzy sumptuous silky fabrics. Put out beautiful fresh flowers, luscious chocolates, silky cushions, beautiful jewellery and all manner of fine offerings to delight the Goddess. Use images of the Goddess Venus, this could be a woman who symbolizes everything beautiful sexy and romantic. Scarlet Johansenn or Marilyn Monroe or whoever you like. You need 5 candles, some incense, good-sized sheets of white paper  and colored pencils.

2. Dress up so you feel like a Goddess or that you embody the Goddess.

Sit and meditate at the alter.Go into your heart  and ask what does my heart really want in love? What do I value? How much do I feel I am worth?  This isn’t about what you maybe want. Sit with this question. You may get very frustrated. Breathe through the panic untill you feel or sense and answer even if it s vague, call upon Venus to guide you..

3.With your non-dominant hand, take a colored pencil and allow your hand to move on the paper with your eyes partly closed. Let your hand flow, don’t try to direct anything. you may find your hand moving as if of its own accord. feel yourself being drawn. spend some time with this. Open your eyes and look at the images or colors. Try to see what Venus has revealed to you. You can do this over and over again. When you have a number of images look them over, then begin to write a story about them.

4. INVOKE THE GODDESS!

 All pentagrams for positive magic start in the lower left and go up to the peak then downwards to the right then up and across diagonally to the left, then across to the right horizontally,then down to the left to join where you started.Draw this magical Venus symbol in the air. Prepare to surrender your ego to Venus.

5. Feel the Goddess Venus enter you. Really allow her essence to become one with you.  ask to see through Venusian eyes. Imagine what this feels like. When you feel Venus’s spirit within you, go through then move through your images, get your answers.  You will get clarity. This exercise is something you should dedicate yourself to for the 40 days you know that is a symbolic number while she is Retrograde,

Sacred sex, Fairy’s, Beltane, May Day, the New Masculine

April 30 tonight its time to go romping in the woods. It’s Walpurgis night, the night before May 1st, Beltane.

The VEIL BETWEEN THE WORLD’S ARE THINNEST just like at Halloween, the energy is the same.We are at the opposite pole of Death, this is the celebration of sexuality and Life.

The Faery Queen goes out a riding in the woods tonight.   It’s a magical bewitching  Night.

This is a special night of SACRED SEXUAL LIASONS.

Beltane  May 1st, is a traditional Fertility and Sacred Marriage Festival of the Sun to the Earth. It means “fire of Bel” or “bright fire” – the “bale-fire”. (English – bale; Anglo-Saxon bael; is the known as the bright and shinning one, a Celtic Sun God. Beli is the father, protector, and the husband of the Mother Goddess. The Bel fire is a sacred fire with healing and purifying powers. The ashes of the Beltane fires were smudged on faces and scattered in the fields. Household fires would be extinguished and re-lit with fresh fire from the Bel Fires.

THE MAY POLE/Phallic symbol

Dancing around the MAY POLE is a very ancient fertility celebration of the maiden Goddess and the horned god who would meet in the dark, make love as strangers, a young girl embodying the Goddess Divine and her young consort. He is Cernunos, PAN to the Greeks, the young virile, sexual, phallic God of fertility, the stag. Guys still have stag parties.  We are celebrating the Positive Goddess worshipping Strong hunter the Green Man. The Catholic Church made him into the Horny Devil. In the Tarot he is #15 the Devil .

The ancient had no morals on life’s necessities. Children conceived this night were considered magical and to belong to the realm of the FAIRY or Fey.  Couples would also take vows to be in relationships for a year and a day, sort of test driving a relationship to see if they are compatible.

It is considered unlucky to marry in MAY as this month is dedicated to the wedding of the GOD and the GODDESS alone.

PLEIADES

Beltane is marked in the Heavens as the rising of the Pleiades star cluster just before sunrise on the morning horizon, winter (Samhain/Halloween) begins when the Pleiades rises at sunset. The Pleiades is a cluster of seven closely placed stars, the seven sisters, in the constellation of Taurus, they can be easily seen with the naked eye. The Pleiades were very important to many ancient cultures worldwide. Some Native American tribes say that their Ancestors were Star Beings who came from the Pleiades. Many psychics channeled  the Pleiadians. I do too.

THE WHEEL OF TIME and our participation

The Ancients participated in Time’s unfolding, they believed that the Wheel of Time would not turn without human intervention. It is vitally important for us to reconnect and to honour these Ancient Nature Festivals, as we are so disconnected from the earth and the natural world. Another important Beltane custom is bathing in dew gathered before dawn on Beltane Morn, your beauty will flourish throughout the year. Sprinkled with the dew insures you of health and happiness. Drinking from the well before dawn of Beltane is also good luck.

THE HORNED GOD, is a powerful symbol and needs to be honored as a harbinger of the New masculine.

MODERN RITUAL

If you can’t manage a bonfire, simply lighting a small fire will do. Intention is everything, so light a small fire in your home safely, write down what it is you want to dispel from your life and burn it in the flames. Or you could do a Jack be nimble Jack be quick and jump over a candle on the floor, very carefully for luck. If you are in a partnership cleanse it of disharmony, rekindle your vows. I decided to  look at the TRINES this week,they are LUCKY aspects, everyone wants LUCK and LOVE right?

Now luck is luck, and timing is everything. 

Work your luck may sound like a contradiction, but Trines in a birth chart tend to make people lazy, take things for granted.

A trine is a  harmonic aspect, sacred geometry between two or more planets that are 120 degrees apart, they share elements.

Trines are The Trinity, feminine,why not work with Divine Timing?

Yes, T-squares are hard, cause friction, make sparks fly, they are irritating,

sand in the oyster, they make you do something about it.

Jan 2 – just wanted to see if you were paying attention.I had said in a previous post that Wednesday was a quiet day ,sounding like nothing was happening it is mainly a fairly light day. Virgo Moon squares Jupiter in Gemini in night. 

2 nice beneficial TRINES occur from Virgo Moon to Pluto and to Capricorn Sun. Earth trines give blessings on the material plane. Two, TWo, two TRINES from the Virgo Moon to Pluto, God of Riches and wealth and to the Sun- the symbol of gold itself the Source of all Light. Atomic symbol is AUM or OHM.  It’s a Great day to do a blessing ritual for health career and wealth’

Meditate on what you’d like to achieve, what your body needs to thrive. Is it better diet, exercise, sleep? Is your present job/workplace supporting your highest energy?

Visualize how much money you’d like to earn this year. See yourself as a tree growing branches, how you’d like to expand your business. See the roots growing from your spine deep into the soil. You are bringing up nutrients from the rich soil you are firmly rooted in. Feel the crystals, gold, diamonds in the earth that nourish your entire body, which is the Tree of Life. Stay with this meditation and let it take you where it wants to go. Feel how grounded and centered and rooted and supported you are. At the end take 3 pennies and     

plant  them in the earth as you state your wishes for 2013 career, health, wealth, strength, expansion.

at the end of the meditation ritual, place your earth pot and the 3 pennies in a sunny window and visualize watering it and tending to it every day. If you dont have a sunny window place it in the North- West which is always abundance in Feng- Shui, compass North west.
