Venus in Taurus just wants to indulge all her senses in this Garden of Eden all the time. Saturn is the Cosmic Cop and this part of our consciousness is not into all those indulgences. Saturn says NO, you have to earn it, you have to be mature, you have to try harder you have to sweat at the gym, learn more, understand more before you can indulge. 

June 29 MERCURY in CANCER opposes PLUTO in CAPRICORN

All oppositions are tugs of war. Mercury is our conscious mind and in Cancer the mind is very much in touch with our feelings. Pluto is our unconsciousness mind. Pluto is the heavier of the two. This aspect brings us the opportunity to reflect on the inherent duality of what we think we want to fulfill our needs for emotional security versus what our Unconscious shadows contain. It’s a good time to vocalize it, talk about it, journal it. Therapy time. 

JULY 1 CHIRON TURNS RETROGRADE at 28+ degrees PISCES

Chiron, the wounded healer, shaman, is almost at the last most critical degree of the last and most spiritual, ephemeral, emotional sign of Pisces now. Just when we thought we have dealt with all of our wounds, excess emotional baggage and addictions, purified our egos, our souls and dealt with all of our unconscious shadow materials Chiron says UH UH UH. Not so fast. 

Traditionally shamans are able to travel between the Upper Worlds of Spirit and the  Lower worlds of the dead, the shades, as well as the middle world of our everyday reality at will.  Chiron will certainly drag us, most likely in denial, kicking and screaming most of the way through many more layers of our psyches helping us to reveal things that have been buried so deeply we may be totally unconscious of them. This is where the real hidden gold and jewels are, the real, authentic, buried treasure at the bottom of the ocean of our emotions and our souls greatest treasures. This Retrograde journey helps us heal these last parts, to complete another aspect of our soul’s journey. 

 

Chiron will be RETROGRADE until December 5th, 2017 when the WOUNDED HEALER/SHAMANIC TEACHER Turns DIRECT @ 24+ degrees PISCES. 

So focus all of your attention on this healing journey now, for the next 4 and a half months. That’s half a pregnancy cycle.

Chiron will leave PISCES and complete a journey started 50+ years ago. CHIRON enters ARIES on APRIL 17, 2018 symbolizing a brand new journey. Chiron Retrogrades out of ARIES back into Pisces on SEPTEMBER 26 and finishes up 2018 at 28+ degrees PISCES where it is right now.  Look at this 2017 Retrograde as the second to last retrieval of our most buried treasures as our last chance opportunity to really do our deepest healing. 

Chiron Finally enters ARIES on February  18, 2019, to stay for 4+ years. 

JULY 2 MARS OPPOSITE PLUTO @ 18+ degrees

Both Mars and PLUTO govern the sign of SCORPIO, the sign of DEATH, rebirth, and transformation. This is a heavy aspect. Mars is in CANCER where he is not happy being smothered by mother love. Mars wants to be the hero, the warrior, the fighter. He is defending the family now and “family values.” PLUTO in CAPRICORN is the collective shadow. What we fear the most. Those fears are relative. If we are ultra conservative Republicans we fear women’s sexual freedom, gays and Muslims, refugees, Islāmic Terrorists, black men, Mexican immigrants, Democrats, and anyone who isn’t a good old privileged white boy. If we are Democrats these days our shadows are Republicans and Donald Trump.

The PATRIARCHY and the Corporate 1%’s are attempting to destroy women and the family’s intrinsic value through major heavy handed societal, cultural and political controlling issues around women’s reproductive freedom and rights, rights of women in all cultures, women in the workforce, and cultural demands of consumerism and obedience to the Corporate world for everyone. On the other side of this is transgender and sexual reconfiguration of what is normal and the legislation of this in the West. 

All oppositions pit one side against the other. We can see this dichotomy growing tenser and tenser in world politics. Something may give. This aspect can trigger nuclear bombs, terrorist explosions and attacks.

Equinox justice, the re-balancing Point

September 23 2015 @ 8:20 a.m. UT/ 4:201 a.m. PDT/ 1:21 am  EDT the SUN our Source sits exactly on the Equator and the length of day and night are equal. Sun enters the Tropical Sign of LIBRA, the 7th sign, noted for marriage traditionally, all relationships, balance, equality, beauty, women, justice and peace making.

Pagans/witches/Celts in the Northern hemisphere celebrate this as Mabon and for those in the Southern Hemispher it is Eostre, Spring. This is only one of two days in the entire year where day and night are equal. We are in the Balancing point.

 

The Sign of Libra is symbolized by the Scales of Justice which were originally Ancient Egyptian Goddess Ma’at’s scales. This scale weighed the hearts of  the deceased to see if their hearts were light enough to ascend to the realm of the immortals and leave the plane of matter when weighed against her ostrich feather diadem.

VENUS is the ruler of Libra and she is the Star literally of the show in Leo risen anew as the morning Star She is still retracing her Retrograde path until she gets to zero degrees Virgo on October 8. In this chart cast for Greenwich UT at 8:20 U.T. The software says something else I know. Libra is also Ascending and the cusp of the 12th house indicating this is definitely a Re-BALANCING act.

MARS Venus’s mate is only 9 degrees away also in Leo. The pair symbolize leading from the heart. There is no balance unless both sexes are on the same playing field. Libra Ascendant is where we are growing into. Uranus is creating new revolutionary ideas for us to live our lives in Peace Balance and harmony and beauty as the off-kilter planet is near the Descendant in the 6th house which is traditionally Virgo’s placement.

The SUN is  conjunct to The NORTH NODE in LIBRA at 1 degree and conjunct Asteroid JUNO the Goddess of Feminine Genius. Don’t buy that old story about Zeus’s long-suffering wife, that’s the patriarchal version and Juno stands beside  LILITH, the Original woman/Goddess who was almost buried in HIStory.  This conveys to me that the power of the Balance comes from women honoring the Goddess and Her genius and their own feminine form of innate wisdom. Women must honor their own power being unafraid to speak out against the old crumbling Patriarchal system to bring peace and balance into the world.

VESTA the Goddess of the Hearth, focus and dedication and the root word for inVESTments is in Aries opposite Lilith and Juno. Lilith can be vengeful. Use your intuition when investing these days. 

MERCURY is Retrograde at the equinox in the 12th house, opposite Uranus and squaring Pluto. There is some back seat negotiations going on behind the scenes. 

The Sun is also sextiling Saturn also at zero degrees Sagittarius.

SAGITTARIUS rules religion and politics. So how synchronistic that the POPE comes to America at this time and will address Congress for the first time. A quarter of the population in the U.S. is Catholic so the Pope’s visit is huge. The Republicans hate the POPE. This is a strange comedy which is also a Sagittarius thing. What will he address Congress with? In a time when we need to have a completely secular world I find it strangely backwards to be mixing religion with politics. That is a form of Sharia law which is religious law of the land. The more it looks different the more it is the same. You know what I mean, it isn’t literal.

This is a brand new starting place for balancing old karmic debts. The Sun is conjunct to positive expansive optimistic intellectual and earthy Jupiter in Virgo. We need to acknowledge what we have harvested in our environment. Our food supplies are a huge issues.

The MOON, the prevailing mood is in Corporate business suited Capricorn, conjunct CERES the Ancient Earth Mother. And the POPE is in America to address Congress about climate change. The Mood is to be grounded, practical repsonsible. The Moon represents the people and women, and she is squaring Uranus.  The forces of the Cardinal Cross energy are still definitely moving through the culture as much as the forces of a feminine revolution are in the wellsprings.

JUPITER in Virgo is on budget, very humble, hard-working, perfectionist and nature loving as well. The Sign of the only woman in the Zodiac Virgo was the original Virgin Goddess,whole and complete unto herself, another name for Demeter/Ceres. 

Jupiter is opposite to Neptune in Pisces and is forming a T-square to Saturn which will be exact on November 26. Jupiter opposite Neptune brings our spiritual yearnings, our dreams, and our creativity down to earth and make it real. Saturn will be testing what is real and what isn’t on all levels over the next few months. This will be a huge wake up bursting of the bubble on every level. Saturn in Sagittarius is Truth telling and justice. Like the VW scandal that just emerged, or the CEO who bought the Aids pill and increased the cost by $750 a pill was forced to recind by the media. That’s instant media karma for you. 

Jupiter is opposite Chiron in Pisces telling of the refugees seeking shelter from the war and compassion. Jupiter rules foreigners, travelling, politics and justice. Some of the refugees are genuine refugees running from a destroyed Syria their homeland which the west refused to enter into. Others are trying to jump on the bandwagon from other countries, Pakistan, Eritrea. It will be chaotic and Saturn in Sagittarius limits travelling. So we shall see which lands the refugees do end up in. Saturn in Sagittarius ruled gypsies so I don’t seem them settling in one place.

 

At the Equinox stop and make time to set your intentions for the next 3 months till Winter Solstice, and longer till next Spring/fall. Because Mercury is Retrograde its a good time to review. The upcoming Blood Moon’s energies are forming with the eclipse as well, so think about where you were 18 years ago at the last eclipse.

Venus square Neptune, love and the debt ceiling crisis

Energies are a poppin’ under a Sagittarius moon.

I am back home after a whirlwind 3 day working tour in the Great White North. It was awesome up there.  I travelled 2,000 plus kilometres by plane and driving into the awesome open spaces inhabited by millions of pine,birch, poplar, maple trees, and hundreds of thousands of lakes, moose wolves, foxed, deer, beavers  of Northern Ontario. It’s a beautiful land Canada, I am proud to be born here.

VENUS SQUARES NEPTUNE- Love and Debt and the continuing U.S. shutdown

Venus square Neptune in the most spiritually romantic way means Love never dies.

 

There is no death and no one you love ever dies is never disconnected to you.

This is very real and comforting for all of  those who have lost someone they love.

Venus- Love, real physical love planet is squaring Neptune, making the SouL MATE, merge fantasy of Neptune – REAL for those who believe, who have FAITH- that is a Neptunian spiritual thing.

VENUS is a personal planet, she rules Women, their physical beauty and attractiveness and she

rules relationships, money, luxury, all arts and Neptune rules the illusions, debts, addictions of love and money,

Neptune also rules hidden enemies, secrets

Venus in Sagittarius takes risks and gambles.

Venus in Sagittarius means it totally and passionately when she says “Till death do us part.”

Venus square Neptune says -“Till debt do us part.”

JUPITER IS the planet or final dispositer of this square.  Jupiter traditionally rules both of these signs Masculine Sag and Feminine Pisces. Neptune rules Pisces too.

My intuition said what about the mid-point’s?

MID POINTS

are another tool astrologers use. A Mid point is just as it sounds- the middle ground between two planets which gives added weight.

In a perfect 90 degree square. 45 degrees is a semi-square. We count from the first planet always moving clockwise.

45 degrees from Venus at 2 degrees 53 minutes of Sagittarius  is 17 degrees 53 minutes of CAPRICORN

which is directly opposite where JUPITER is right now- 19 degrees 16 minutes of Cancer!

which is also EXACTLY square to the Sun at 17 degrees 14 minutes of LIBRA, forming another Cardinal Cross point.

Jupiter is about 5 degrees past the U.S. Sun at 12 degrees Cancer.

Jupiter, the largest planet rules Religion, laws, government, history, foreigners, faith too.

To me this also mirrors the entire Government shutdown over increasing the debt ceiling.

Venus in Sagittarius is about truth- telling. Jupiter in Cancer means nurturing, feeding, emotional safety

LIBRA Sun, balancing relationships, being the ambassador,a symbol of karma and marriage,which VENUS also rules over

wow that’s some mighty fine, fine-tuning.

Imagine the magnificent Cosmic billiard games-one planet touches another they are all inter-connected.

This is a karmic testing time for the U.S.

I wrote about the U.S. loosing their power as their progressed Mars turned Retrograde in July of 2006.

will shed some light. The government can’t stay in hostage mode for too long by the Repubs.

U.S. government shutdown- A Hard Day’s Night Astrology

Well they picked a perfect day to call a debt ceiling and shut down the government in Astrology.  The Leo Moon’s is Void of course, drifting  across Fixed Star Regulus now at Zero degrees Virgo. Starting anything on a Void of course Moon is always a big no-no. Those Republicans would do well to consult with a knowledgable astrologer who would advise them against this timing.  The Traditional equation is “nothing good will come of this.”

The Moon symbolizing the instincts, moods and emotions of the people was just all rankled up with that Leo Moon/Mars conjunction. Hopping mad! We aren’t gonna take this anymore.  The instinct is to cut the  royal privilege and get with humble Virgo accountability.

Virgo, sign of “servants” traditionally,  humble, salt of the earth hard-working folks. What all great empires are built on.

It’s been a Hard day’s Night.

The Republican’s Get the brilliant idea to shut down the government

Mercury, the fleet-footed one is already in shadow territory slowing down before turning Retrograde on  October 21.  Mercury, Virgo’s planetary ruler is in Scorpio now- being silent, watching, uncovering secrets, researching, pulling power punches, and

on October 1 -Trine Neptune- ruler of DEBT, wouldn’t you  know. Ding. Ding.

The Markets will plunge but they do this each and every October. So don’t jump out of any buildings yet. I was in L.A. on Black Monday in October 1987, it was horrible walking around Beverly Hills. But we recovered.

Then Virgo- hard working nitpicking perfectionistic Moon opposes Neptune -the real vs. the unreal, unseen, unaccountable, illusion.. Who is counting? 
Virgo moon sextiles Mercury- ok lets get down to this accounting, accountability thing. In your personal life too.

Then SUN Squares PLUTO in Capricorn. Libra Sun needs to strike a balance, be fair, to incorporate corporate Plutocrats. Squared off means- no side budges/budgets.

But tomorrow is another day said Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With the Wind. Libra is a an AIR SIGN.

Oct 2 Saturn Trines Chiron – Scorpio is insurance, which is lobbying against Obamacare and ruthlessly raking non tax payers over the coals till they weep.

Virgo Moon Trines Pluto- get a goal and stick with it for 5 years straight.

Virgo moon opposes Chiron- cry all you want that doesn’t fill the debt coffers.

Virgo Moon sextiles Saturn- well we can try to rationalize some solution.

Virgo Moon quincunx’s Uranus- those Darn republicans are so staunchly conservative, They don’t believe in caring for your fellow citizen.

SUN quincunx Chiron-Lots of give and take, but no prize yet…

Virgo Moon sextiles Jupiter in Cancer- float a higher debt ceiling, pinch some pennies here and there but children still need care.

On a personal level. Saturn Trine Chiron can produce beautiful new transformational healing journeys. Let yourself cry, unburden yourself. No one has to be a martyr.
