 There will be a Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo, an especially powerful time to set new intentions. We will meditate, chant and drum. An especially strong New Moon which is always Red Tent time. We will give away our sacred blood for the healing and regeneration of the earth and our own wombs. We will do Womb healing and cleansing ceremonies. I am a High Priestess and a Crone. It would be wonderful to have bleeding women at this ceremony.  

Venus in LEO, Sekhmet has just begun to move ahead Direct again, reborn as the Morningstar, Inanna emerged from her ordeals in the Underworld. There are many auspicious planetary alignments to work with.

Sept. 16.  Jupiter, the planet of expansion, opportunity, higher learning, truth and justice and esoterically the Master Teachers planet is in Virgo, the Virgin Goddess sign and opposite to Neptune. This is a very big, creative, spiritual, practical, dreamers grand aspect. Feminine energy, earth and water. We will awaken to our Sacred Dream, our personal dream and our collective dream. 

September 17. Saturn enters Sagittarius for the next two years. Saturn was originally the Great Mother, Binah in Hebrew. Saturn in Sagittarius is the sign of Diana the Huntress, and all warrior,Amazon Queens. We welcome Saturn, the great teacher and set new intentions and arrows of truth, humour, inspiration and connection with all our relations. Ignite your Shakti energy.

Taurus New Dark Moon, healing the demons

A Taurus New Moon brings out our laziness and that is why I am a bit late here this month.

NEW MOON May 17 @ 9:13 pm /May 18 @ 12:13 a.m. EDT/ 4:13 am GMT @ 26 + degrees of Taurus 

It is an INtense sensual in the body New Moon, with a wicked kick of potential healing and exorcising of fear around women’s sexuality and awakening Kundalini energy. We are riding the bull and riding the snake. Note Taurus and Scorpio opposition.

All New Moon’s are new intentions. We are back where it all began in the dark VOID of all potential.

New Moons were traditionally the time for all women to be menstruating in the world.  Before electric lights threw women’s natural rhythms off, women always bled in synchronicity with the Moon’s cycles. All the women were gathered  in the Red tent, the moon lodge, yurt, cave or temple. This was the holiest of holy times. The word Tabu originally meant sacred. The women would bleed onto their mother the earth giving back the life-giving blood which creates all life.  

The New Moon is exactly on the star with the blackest reputation of all  ALGOL, Medusa’s head. A very DARK delicious New MOON indeed. This star symbolizes the patriarch’s greatest fear of women’s sexuality, of her sacred menstrual blood and her erotic power to destroy a man’s ego with sacred sexuality.  Which is what he fears and what he needs most to touch soul.

Fixed star expert Diana K. Rosenberg says the star is associated with ” Violence, beheading, hanging, choking, asphyxiation, electrocution, murder, mob violence.” so be aware of this over the next month.

This very physical Taurus New Moon will take us deep into the darkness of the caves within ourselves where we create our own realities. We will have to battle the shadow, the monster, the dragon, the Gorgon, our personal shadows in whatever form it manifests.

Medusa was originally an Amazon warrioress from Lybia. Her dreadlocks or snakes symbolize  her spiritual or Kundalini transformative powers. Women warriors were fighting back against the advancing Patriarchy. 

KUNDALINI energy

This sacred force which rises form the base of the spine up the chakras to the head awakens cosmic consciousness. This powerful regenerative force has always been symbolized by a snake and many cultures revered -or like Christianity and Judaism feared snakes for this reason. Kundalini energy clears old traumas, and brings enlightenment. Sacred sexuality, symbolized by the snakes was the major initiation path that men received in the Holy Temples of the Goddess, which all women served at before they married. Especially after war this rite was Holy to clear the men from profane bloodshed which we now call P.T.S. D. into sacredness and oneness again.

Algol has many symbols yet she has a Saturn- Jupiter ruling. This star also has positive attributes. Capulus the star proceeding Algol is the handle of the sword which Perseus used to cut off the demons head. But if you know the story it was using the mirror which enabled Perseus to get close enough to slay the demon. ALgol is not Lillith do not get them confused.

The name Algol comes from the Arabic for ghoul or demon. It also means alcohol which Muslims are forbidden to drink. As Psychologist Carl Jung realized the word alcohol or spirit is the same name as spirituality. The soul speaks in metaphors and puns as it does in dreams.The thirst for alcohol to quench emotional pain is an outer bandage against the pain when what the soul needs to heal is spiritual healing.

Algol points out our need to escape from pain through drugs, TV, sex, money power, shopping, whatever your drug of choice is. That escapism is fear and a refusal to listen to the inner pain for the soul’s cry for healing and redemption by the Source. 

With Mercury turning Retrograde May 18 we will definitely be looking back, looking inwards.

Use this New Moon to Full Moon time to

ensure that you are in your body and that your heads are not separated from our entire beings. Taurus energy is brave and we can ride the bull to stubbornly face our shadows, by seeing them reflected everywhere. By doing the great work we will be less critical, rejecting, racist, and we can learn to give the demon the love it is truly needing. We will learn to love ourselves as or neighbour.

Women need to embrace their sacred menstrual blood and their bleeding times as Holy, to be in their bodies. The modern Red Tent movement is hugely successful as it reminds woman of what they need to be whole.  Start at this New Moon.

 Mercury Retrograde is square Neptune 

this is the perfect time to see how faded out people are. How little you are in touch with your body instincts and reality and to change this.

Mars in Gemini is also square Neptune

We can use the sharpness of Mars in our minds to cut through the denial and deal with our addictions.

Venus opposite PLUTO over the next week is very powerful.

Unconscious family power struggles erupting, secret love affairs, passion, erotic fantasy, healing in the family, tenderness or power? Women struggling against the patriarchal structures.. Passive-aggressive. Stock market can be erratic.

so tread lightly. It is also  involved in a large T- square of Sun conjunct Mars opposite Saturn square Neptune. 

This aspect can be very positive and creative. It will be a challenge to stay on your highest heights.

CERES is the great Mother and all heroes pledged fealty to HER. The north node in Libra calls for equality, fairness, balance, judiciousness, wise thinking and a big overview.

A Blood red moon reveals the honoring of women’s menstrual blood as sacred. Before there was animal sacrifice, thousands of years ago, women’s menstrual blood was honored as a holy sacrament.  The BLOOD OF LIFE and DEATH. The apparent oppositions. That Libra thing again.

A FULL MOON is a pregnant fertile image. That is the Holy egg of Life waiting to be fertilized. The red tinge of the eclipse  indicates the balance- the red and white , life and death as perfectly balanced.

Traditionally menstrual blood and semen were mixed together to form the alchemical elixir of life. Used on the Thoth Trump #14 called ART and Sagittarius rules.

Also fits in with the GRAND FIRE TRINE of Uranus in Aries, Jupiter ruler of Sagittarius in LEO and Mars in Sagittarius.

I see the blood moon as symbolic of Trump # 14 Alchemy because it is about the sacred Marriage of the opposites. This is the great and holy work, the art, the higher knowledge. Ultimately we are all one. 

If you want to create your sacred other in your life you must have the #14 energies working internally first.

The numerology base of 14 is the number 5 which is the Pope, masculine spiritual authority. It is Taurus, so can get to be stubborn, disconnected from the intuitive realms. Some systems use the same base number which is 4. Fourteen is 4 at its base. Four  +10= 14.

The 4 is the EMPEROR THE KING-ARIES ENERGY. The eclipse sign.

MARS in Sagittarius, where the action is, exactly trines Jupiter at 1:43 pm PDT/ 4:43 pm EDT I can feel it guiding me.

AIM higher, look back at history or rather herstory, it’s not what the “authorities” have allowed you to know about.  

Moon will qunincunx Saturn later today. If you feel somewhat deflated you’ll know why. You need to incubate too. ECLIPSES are powerful on the adrenals and emoations.

Libra New Moon Sedona Inspirational Intentions

Happy Autumn Equinox to you in the Northern Hemisphere and Happy Spring to those of you down under.

Did you feel the PLUTO changing direction THUNK? Don’t think about it.

Here in Sedona I led a wonderful intimate ceremony on the red rocks. There were four women which was perfect of course, because we each held one of the four directions.

Two women I had never met before in the physical, we had connected on the web and thanked the world-wide web for providing such magical synchonicities. One of the women had read this blog and contacted me. They who had just arrived earlier that day from Florida.

So I said we need to thanks SPIDER WOMAN. She is the original creatress. There is a lovely song to her. Both of these women are very spiritual ,one a yoga instructor, and tour leader and the other an acupuncturist and Taoist and both Reiki Masters and Lightworkers. My new Soul sistar and friend Julija from Melbourne Australia who started the Cosmic Intelligence Agency is also an awesome star-spangled spiritual lady who has stayed here with me for the past week, was in the circle as well.  

STARGAZING ARCHANGEL GABRIEL

We had been stargazing and had seen Capricorn and the Fixed Star Fomalhaut/the ARCHANGEL GABRIEL so clearly the other night.  I am literally very connected to this star as it is conjunct my NORTH NODE in my natal chart. and Neptune is still closely conjunct wit in 2 degrees to it now. So we are all being blessed by the announcing angel.

NEW MOON BLEEDING TIMES

We are all mothers, between the 4 of us we have 7 children I believe. I sang a song of Bleeding for the New Moon as well. Ladies if you are “on your moon” on the New Moon then you are in synch with the natural cycles. Time to go to the RED TENT.

We had wonderful prayers for the planet and sent light to where the U.S. had just started airstrikes against ISIL.  We sent prayers to the Middle east and to all the countries that need it. We blanketed the world. We set intentions for the next 3 months.

All of the 8 stations of the year, and New moons are always great intention setting times. We get two opportunities virtually together now.

The Moon is Void of COURSE today Sept 23 until 11:14 pm PDT when it enters LIBRA and not till Sept 24 @ 2:14 am.

In my ceremony last night I called in 8 directions.  The four Cardinal direction East South West and North which are stable and the Non-cardinals which are the movers of energy. In the Twisted Hairs Medicine teachings which I was taught. The directions means this;

The South East, is about self- love self-knowledge and self- acceptance

The South West, is about healing and the dreamers

The North West is the place of Karma and Dharma,of Raven and Crow and power places on the earth. Being in Sedona I feel very Blessed to be in one of the big power spots.

and the North East is the place of MAGIC, sourcery as in being connected to source energy.It is the place of new images and archetypes.

Each of these non-cardinals hold different healing energies as well. I will write a more in-depth article about that separately.

It’s a dark, dangerous, shadow laden voyage where we witness and own our own depravity, greed, excess, glamour, false power. Love it and let it go.Then she can rise again as a more real, fulfilled, initiated GODDESS Women.

Won’t happen again for years. The ancient pagans/wiccans would have called it a BLACK MOON as it was a very sacred time.

The BLACK MOON, not the same as Lilith, but associated by the darkness aspect.

The BLACK MOON is the Moon’s most traditionally FEMININE, most mysterious, magical,time.

Before electricity and when women lived closely in small towns or tribes they all menstruated at the same time,

during the BLACK MOON. This was the time of the RED TENT, moon lodge or menstrual yurt hut or cave usage.

Women would retreat together, to honour their sacred blood and feed and nourish the earth, with their sacred flows.

It was a well known fact that all women were considered SACRED, the origin of the words “taboo” when bleeding,

and at the height of their psychic powers, so men were in fear and awe of their sacredness. 

SACRED PRIESTESS Would make love to men to cleanse them on the time of the Black Moon,

therefore its reputation as being “dark” sinister and associated with later Patriarchal put downs.

THE BLACK MOON TIME is SACRED to the GODDESS HEKATE she of the three crossroads.  

HEKATE is an  ANCIENT chthonic, pre-Olympian Goddess

she rules over the earth, the sea and  the sky. A VIRGIN GODDESS, she belonging to no man.

She has the power to create or hold back storms,

she rules magic, spirits, the dead, sorcery, the DARK MOON,childbirth, often accompanied by dogs, and horses, 

she sits in judgement of Kings, those who worship Her are gifted.

So use this time wisely over the next 7 days, a sacred number to prepare for this auspicious SUPER BLACK MOON.

September 1-8 back to school, this is what we always do here on earth.

It’s a holiday. Labour day. I was thinking about women’s sacred menstrual blood, I was telling one of my clients about it. Women do not know this great truth. I used the metaphor for a friend’s reading about his  being squeezed during labour, during his rebirth. Labour day makes me think of women’s labouring not just male  workers. If you’ve had a child you know what this is. Many women actually miss this or have a partial experience through having cesarian’s. What are you labouring to give birth to?

Virgo time feels more focussed and organized. Gotta get my diet and exercise routine back on track.

NEW MOON VIRGO lucky 13 degree + HARVESTING DEEP HEALING

We’re in the menstrual period of the Moon. 13 is the number of lunar cycles in a year. Moon is shedding her sacred moon blood, SOMA, the substance that all humans and mammals are created from. The Moon, called Selena, Isis, ALuna, has retreated to her  dark cave, pit, hut, yurt, RE TENT, tipi, MOON Lodge for 3 days.

Up until the advent of electricity around 130 years ago and when women lived in smaller tribal groups or work together, they would all bleed on the NEW MOON, together. Women know this for a fact that when they live together their menstrual cycles all come into harmony with each other. Virgo being a body sign, an earth sign makes me think of being very much in an embodied zone. There is only 4 EARTH new moons a year.

The  NEw Moon is opposed by CHIRON the wounded healer. This to me is about healing shame. 

Menstrual blood is still a huge taboo.  It is a scared wounding. Chiron opposite the New moon feels like a great time for women to learn about and heal their Femininity, their sexuality, their health.  Pisces is the 12th house of secrets addictions, the things we have forgotten about. Sexual, emotional, physical, mental abuse. The shame that binds us and keeps us from freely expressing our souls.

Chiron, though wounded himself was a great teacher and healer. So admit you shame, feel it in your body. The pain it taints your love. It will never hurt you, only the repression of it will, Make ya crazy, neurotic, psychotic.  Like A.A. the first step is admitting the problem, surrender, make amends. Rebirth. Forgiveness. Compassion.

I see Miley Cyrus’s overtly sexual – we won’t stop -twerking performance was part of that Lilith T- square energy being released.
