Mick Jagger, grief, condolences and compassion.

I was reading through Mick Jagger’s Face Book page for the first time yesterday where he had posted a photo of his beloved L’Wren Scott on March 18, the day after he was told about her suicide. He posted…

“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.
We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves.
She had great presence and her talent was much admired…, not least by me.
I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received.
I will never forget her,

I certainly felt for his loss. A suicide is always a terrible shock. The interesting part was reading through some of the twenty eight thousand plus condolences and comments on Mick’s statement by many who shared their own tragic experiences of loss, suffering, grief, compassion and understanding because they too had been touched by the suicides of lovers, friends, family or children.

Out of L’Wren’s tragic suicide some good can come out of this which binds and unifies people’s hearts together through their understanding and compassion born from sharing their experiences of  mutual suffering. We know that no one is intrinsically different than anyone else. No one, not a King or Queen no matter how rich, beautiful and famous is immune from being human and all the good, bad, beauty and uglies, highs and lows of experience of which  life on earth is about. Sir Mick is mourning his loss as are the families of those on Flight MH370 and thousands and millions of other human beings in the world. It feels like a time of great grieving.

The Moon is also in Scorpio since the 19th which tunes us  more easily into feeling our losses, mourning, death and depression.  It’s good to go with that heavy flow.

The bottom line is we all share the same human characteristics and fears. No one is immune to this. To love, to lose, to suffer, to joy, to risk, to win, to experience, to be lonely, to not know, to be in the dark, to feel guilty, regret, betrayed, abandoned.  A famous person’s suicide is the same as any other person’s. No amount of money can bring them back from death. Nothing can replace those we’ve loved and lost. To live is to die.  To give love and to receive it. If Mick could trade his multi-millions for his beloved’s life, I am sure he would do it. Life is precious and beautiful and sometimes tragic.

We can only live fully in the present, appreciating each moment of eternity to the fullest and be gratefull for each breath of life. To love is all we can do. As the old saying goes, To love and to have lost is better than never to have loved at all.

I’d never looked at Mick Jagger’s Astrology chart before so just wondering why he was being struck with tragedy now. I know he is also going to be a Great grandpa as well as have his fifth grandchild soon.

Neptune rules all artists, and creative people and this he has in spades. He is a very, very, practical creative dreamer and worker. Can be a nit picker. This is hugely powerful. Mick’s soul dances with Lilith the Dark rejected taboo Feminine. He would live out his soul and unconscious, his Feminine side through embracing LILITH as Queen of the Night, of the dark ,of all things taboo and forbidden, and Lilith would also be all the women in his life. Lilith’s hallmark is to suddenly leave without warning, being whole and complete unto herself.

Saturn is also in quincunx- an aspect of incommunications to his Natal Saturn in Gemini in the 1st house. This is very depressing for Mick as is understandable, a devastating loss. It wil not be easy for him to recover from her death. It shakes his own sense of mortality and ageing. Saturn is also squaring Mick’s Chiron. The Moon in the 12th is very psychic she will come to Mick through his dreams.

CHIRON the wounded healer in PISCES is exactly opposite hid Venus and squaring his Ascendant/descendant

Venus in Virgo is the woman in his life. Chiron opposing this indicates a great wounding from his love. His persona and identity is terribly wounded and vulnerable. If he embraces his grief and suffering he will learn a huge spiritual lesson about forgiveness,compassion and knowing that people never die. Perhaps Mick will raise funds and donate money in L’Wren’s name to create a charity, school for mental illness research or support facilities for women having difficulty thriving in various ways.

Shock, chaos, revolutionary change, spirituality, dreams, illusions, delusion, fantasy, guilt, martyrdom.

Jupiter will enter Leo in late July and will conjunct all of his planets this year. He may be drawn home to his 4th house to be with his family to recover and recuperate. He will be feeling more positive and stronger then.

Retro Spring, Equinox Astrology from Tara Greene

After one of the hardest, coldest, snowiest and longest Winter’s on record in Canada and the northern parts of the United States and Europe SPRING FINALLY ARRIVES in the Northern hemisphere on March 20 @ 9:57 am PDT/ 16:57 UT/12:57 pm EDT. Winter begins at same time Down Under the Equator.

The Equinox chart is the beginning of the New growth Year in 2014. It is the Natural New year as the Sun stands still on the Equator creating equal day and night. The Sun will gradually move northward to touch the Tropic of Cancer which marks Summer Solstice in the North.

The Equinox chart governs the next 3 months and we already know what a powerful period it will be.

So lets check it out. -see below. The chart with  Astrodienst software is off a minute. The chart should have a 13 degree + Cancer Ascendant which is the degree of the UNITED STATES SUN, showing the U.S. as the primary prow of this next 3 months. Also the degree of the major Star SIRIUS, the brightest Star in the Sky, the one the Ancient Egyptians and the Masonic founders of the U.S. worshipped. Sirius is Isis the Great Mother.

JUPITER exalted in CANCER is EXACTLY on the ASCENDANT

This shows great promise, abundance, optimism, luck. But Jupiter can often be overly confidant, too traditional, secretive and crabby. Jupiter is involved in a heavy T- square with Pluto and Uranus. There is an expansiveness a fast track growth.

 The 4th house is the SELF, the roots, the most private, mothering, nurturing, protective house. Where we seek emotional safety and security. It is the womb, our Mother’s. Mars Retrograde in Libra which I wrote about previously, is making us Review how out of balance we are in our relationships on all levels, most especially with our mothers, the Feminine, emotional security where we get it from, how much or little we feel it. Which includes self pleasuring and self love.

The Goddess Asteroid VESTA is conjunct NORTH NODE and Mars which will be  involved this time in the Grand Cardinal Cross on April 15-23..

VESTA is the ancient Goddess of sexuality, passion and focus. The Vestal Virgins were a specifically TANTRICALLY SEXUAL group of Goddess worshippers which were later inverted by the Church as being celibate.   Women need to reclaim their ancient sexual powers to heal men. One of my teachers ,Deena Metzger wrote a book called “The woman who slept with men to take the war out of them.” describing this type of energy in a modern context. The North Node is our highest current spiritual goal. Women can shape shift the world. A new sexuality is being born. One that honours women and REbalances our old institutions. CERES the Great Mother is also nearby at zero degrees Scorpio in the 4th house. She makes everything in Nature grow.

The North Node, our highest spiritual goals, is to rebalance the MASCULINE, aggressive, angry, competitive, energy {Mars} within ourselves. Within and without. Libra the Balance.  Ultimately to have the Marriage which LIBRA symbolizes, we must have equality in relationships. Mutual respect, which must come from within ourselves.

URANUS in ARIES is in the 10th house with JUNO Goddess of Feminine genius. Juno’s ability is to keep things in harmony. REVOLUTION is the Plat du jour, everywhere in the World. Ukraine, Venezuela, and more. Uranus in Aries is of course involved in the Great CARDINAL GRAND CROSS which is coming in mid April. Uranus is the most visible planet and this is a Capricorn overtone house. We need blastingly new governments, and freedom in careers, in goals, in direction.

The Dark Rejected Feminine and the Great Mother’s energy are tied together. Lilith in LEO is Queen Lilith taking her rightful place on the throne. The Goddess who refuses to bow down to any disrespect or Patriarchal abuse is strong, passionate, sexual, energized. Ceres is in the death and rebirth sign. There may be trouble with food supplies as she is the Goddess of the grains. This combination suggests drought conditions, and we know there has been severe droughts in California which may continue for some time.

In Ancient times at BELTANE on MAY 1st youths would make love to strangers in the fields at night in the dark wearing masks. This was an ancient Fertility festival. The bringing of wild sweet abandon to celebrate fertility conception and growth was a way of participating with the Natural cycles. We need some rain dances for sure.

This chart shows some great energy but with MARS RETROGRADE until May 19 don’t expect anything to really move forwards till then. Use this time to incubate new growth, finish off old business on all levels. Saturn Retrograde also slows the progress. As Mars rules Uranus and in the GCC it will be much more internalized. the SUN which has always been symbolized by GOLD met with and SATURN who’s s symbol is LEAD today. This is an initiation, a sacred marriage of the Light and the Dark. That’s called Alchemy.

Their annual SERIOUS meet and greet this morning was at 14 degrees, 14 minutes of the shady sign of SCORPIO.

Nature will have the last laugh on us, but we are doing it to ourselves.We have to protect the earth’s resources.

EVERYTHING YOU WERE TAUGHT IS WRONG and mainly a lie. You have been used. Yes Life is like THE MATRIX movie, it’s a great metaphor. We are supposed to awaken collectively. We are sleeping beauties.  We have the choice. We have the power.  Are you a slave? Why do you keep listening  to what others expect or tell you to do? YOU most likely don’t even know what you really want genuinely or why. These important questions are what these squares are all about.

Philosophy, history, ethics, spirituality, respect, love, balance, beauty, caring, creativity, self- knowledge. There is much to be occupied with that matters to your survival. Not the fluff, the games, the pop culture, the stuff, clothes, makeup, competition, the gadgets.  

The nightmare or unconscious action of these two aspects would be a repeat of the Nazi’s, with powerful technology which controls the weather, the mind, all the computer technology. End of story. Who wins then?

2014 preview, THE CHARIOT, Tara Greene Astrology Tarot

I’ve been meditating and asking my higher guides about what 2014 will be like. I am usually asked by the media for my predictions and I felt like sharing these early insights with you.

2014 in NUMEROLOGY is 2 + 0 + 1 + 4 = 7.  Seven is  a very powerful number. It’s  a primary number, divisible only by itself. It is the number of the Universe. There are 7 days of the week, 7 chakras traditionally, 7 Heavens, colors, notes of the musical scale, 7 seas, 7 planets traditionally which the days of the week are named after.

In the TAROT, Trump # 7 is called THE CHARIOT.

Let’s use the symbols of the Chariot as a  description  of the qualities that this year will unfold. 

The Chariot symbol is  a vehicle, wherein sits a Charioteer, traditionally a Prince wearing a crown. It symbolizes action, movement. The Chariot is usually seen as a  conquerer  full of strength. He can be the Sun God Apollo  in his Solar Chariot , or Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita driving Arjuna’s chariot, or a warrior of the Holy Grail. The Chariot is prominent as the Merkabah in Jewish mysticism.

I feel that the Chariot is most powerful in its Astrological reference to the sign of CANCER. 

The first water sign, it signifies emotions, the Mother, the womb itself, the Unconscious, nurturing, security, shelter,foundation, home, memories.

The Chariot is the VEHICLE which the soul uses to embody itself in the physical plane with each incarnation. 

The vehicle is our emotional bodies which we armour as the Chariot. The shell or Chariot is the outer physical body/vehicle but the Inner hidden core, the Eternal SOUL is more important.

THOTH TAROT # 7 Sign of CANCER

The 4  Fixed Stars, or Archangels are pulling the Chariot. 

For me 2014 will be symbolized by BEING IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT of your own life, taking full responsibility for creating every emotion that you feel. 

On the Road is a good phrase to remember for this upcoming year.

The Chariot speaks to me of the 7 chakras and the need to keep these open at all times through meditation and allowing emotions to flow .

I am finalizing my Guided Meditations with the chakras.

The Chariot is the physical body and safety. We will need to have secure spaces and to attend to our physical vehicle really primarily.

How are we feeling and what are we sensing will be primary means of transport.

It’s about the flux and flow of the emotions and the need to ride the waves, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Are you a wave or a particle or both? It is a return to the safety of the womb.  We will need to feel connected, protected, home. And the only safe place is within your own heart and the Divine Heart of the Mother.

We will all need to be conscious of our SOUL, our essences, living within the protection that is The Chariot, the Merkabah, the psychic energetic spiritual vehicle of Ascension.

Yes it may be a very bumpy tempestuous ride. We will need to be able to go with the flow, to not stop it or damn it up.

2014 will encourage us to feel like children; trusting, innocent, playful, spontaneous. This will be wonderful, a return to Innocence.

Everyone’s emotional sensitivity will be heightened too. We will be speaking from our hearts more. Water will be a powerful metaphor.

Much oceanic activity. March 2014 stands out to me particularly as a huge breakdown economically.

Water is a cleanser, which washes away all hardness.

The Sign of Cancer will be highlighted till mid year with Jupiter’s presence. 

The Great Mother, the great nurturer and giver of all life will be more primal and we will need to feel spiritually connected to Her  unconditional love and acceptance to thrive. We will be opening our hearts more and more and giving and caring for others as if they were our own children.

Of course the four Cardinal signs ARIES, CANCER LIBRA and CAPRICORN will be very important in the ongoing Grand Crosses which are crucifying or creating a new foundation for us.
