 known as a “FUN da MENTAL”  sign. I made that up years ago.

Its a  fast monthly mind games romp while, changing partners, doe see doe-ing, and smiling with charming flirtyness.

GEMINI is Ruled by that fancy fleet- footed messenger  of the Gods – MERCURY, also the planet.

MERCURY is  consciousness, intelligence, analysis, communications. The SOuRCE in some senses.

GEMINI has what is called PEUR mentality and actions, for the more psychologically minded. There may be much mental Ado about not much during  Gemini times. Gemini is a light-headed air sign, dare we say Air head?

But ya gotta love ’em, They  move too fast for you to pin them down. Yes social butterflies those Gemini’s are.. NEVER EVER TRY TO PIN THEM DOWN. Their charm will win you over, they can sell refrigerators to Inuit folks. They shine in public speaking, disseminating info.

When I first started to study the tarot seriously about 22 years ago. The connection of Gemini to the Lovers drove me crazy, I couldn’t get it. From studying Astrology I knew Gemini as the most immature, ambiguous, curious, detached sign of all. Not what I would think of associated with the qualities of Love.  Libra would be the sign I would first associate with love and marriage. I won’t go into all the correspondences of the Tarot and the Tree of Life, the Kabbalah etc.  suffice it to say the Lovers is #6 which is Tifferet in Hebrew at the center of the Tree of Life.

the Lovers and Gemini are about Choice, duality. The opposites, masculine and feminine, yin and yang, up down, Heaven and Hell, Good and Evil, right and wrong, us and them,Light and Dark  etc.

Gemini symbolizes consciousness itself, and our dual natured brains. VENUS in GEMINI loves to learn  and for the next four months the focus is learning lessons in LOVE.
