A smoking lead pipe, Saturn in Sagittarius

Nov. 18  Moon is still in Aquarius. and makes a funky qunincunx to Jupiter in Virgo.

Jumpin Jupiter is jiving in Virgo just want to get the work done not revolutionize the organization.

Neptune turns DIRECT TODAY:

I have noticed my dreams being very strong the last week or so. Have you?

Last night i was having Lucid Dreams:

I was dreaming about my mother who passed away in 2009, She as young and lovely. My husband was putting on third eye protection gear though. I also dreamed of a new spirit guide. She was a beautiful indigenous looking older woman with snow white hair A gorgeous wise Chrone.

I had a lucid dream on November 16th 2015 about a great plague which will hit Mexico in the next year or so.

Neptune rules plagues, viruses and the like. And Saturn always bodes ill, even in Sagittarius.

Moon squares Sun later tonight

we are moving into a Full Moon in Gemini  Nov. 25

Mercury will enter the sign of Sagittarius on November 20th until December 9th.

The Sun makes its annual trot through  Sagittarius on November 22.

Saturn is already at 6 degrees of Sagittarius and is already locked into a first square with planet Neptune next week on November 26th,This means HEAVY DREAMS.

It’s Thanksgiving in the U.S.  Yes we have much to be thankful for.

Sagittarius is the 9th sign, and the third and final fire sign. Sagittarius is the sign of the truth, of foreigners, travellers, philosophers, teachers, history, judges, airlines, churches and religion, thighs, trials, Higher Law, optimism, animal rights, sports, the military, justice, abundance and humor. All of these things will be forefront in the news until 2017.

Sagittarius also rules places: Arabia,  aliens,  Chile, Australia,  Czechoslovakia, France.

Jupiter is the planetary governor of SAGITTARIUS and also PISCES, his ancient feminine planet..

Jupiter in Virgo now governs both Saturn and Neptune in Pisces  as its final dispositor.

Saturn square Neptune is rather like smoking a lead, opium filled pipe and drinking absinthe in a romantic cafe in Paris circa 1907. Or a smoking gun.

What was happening in the world in 1907? One hundred and eight years ago.

Neptune was at 13 degrees Cancer, right on the U.S. Sun and square to Uranus at 12+ degrees Capricorn. Similar to the Cardinal Cross degrees we have been seeing in the past three  years.

This was the beginning of Neptune’s rulership of cinema, Hollywood and photography, the first color photography process is marketed. Einstein predicts gravitational shift.

Uranus bringing freedom, chaos and new technology into the public. Marconi’s company begins the first commercial transatlantic wireless service between Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada and Clifden, Ireland.

Finland is the first European country to give women the right to vote. There was a big market crash in 1907.

Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud met for the first time on Feb, 27.

Suffragette movement was starting. UPS is founded. The Plaza Hotel opened in New York.  The world first air force was established.

How did I get into that time warp? I like history. I am a triple Sagittarius.

Saturn is maturity, practicality, hard work and discipline .Neptune is dreams, delusions, magic, the unconscious, art, imagination, alcohol and addictions, soul mates, yogis, dreams, endings, oceans.

Saturn is almost sitting on my 6 degree + Sun and I am feeling very tired. So I will leave you with this.

I try to stay optimistic, Saturn can also make those dreams heavy and leaden. This is Saturn’s test of time.

You are in it for the long haul and it will be work.

Death Valley Scorpio place, star scapes landscapes painting and film

Badwater, Death Valley by Napoleon Brousseau 1998

Death Valley sounds like a Scorpio Goth place. It  is a beautiful awe inspiring place. My husband Napoleon Brousseau turned me onto it. He used to go quite often and camp before it was a National Park. The landscape is varied, with names like “Devil‘s Cornfield.” There are mesmerizing salt flats, feels like you are walking on the Moon. Surprisingly there is also water and a species of tiny fish that thrive in the super salinated waters.

Death Valley is a misnomer- it was intended to keep prospectors away as it was believed there was gold there. There is a lot of silver and abandoned silver mines litter the valley. Borax- you know 20 mule train borax– was mined from Death Valley. It is a flame retardant and cleanser. Nowadays there are modern hotels, date palms and lotsof tourists. The night skies are amazing as no inerfering city lights.
For an artists view of Death Valley- see Napoleon’s contemporary landscapes at http://www.napob.com

Mr. Brainwash move over, meet Mr. Bitumin art eidolons

I love art. Everyone has a secret desire to be an artist. Admit it. To be an artist is to live creatively, to live life freely. I started out as an artist, I went to Art High School and Art College. I had shows in New York , Los Angeles and Toronto.

Everyone Loves Banksy, he is a very  clever man, Did you see the film Exit Through the Gift Shop? Banksy made it about Mr. Brainwash. This is not about street art but about an artist who does amazing work.

this is a promotional ART Blogpost.

Mr. Bitumen 2012 Painting
Napoleon Brousseau

Napoleon Brouseau’s talents are enormous. He lived in New York years ago and knew Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. He met Frederico Fellini, worked on the Pee Wee Herman TV show building props. He was an art director at Area Nightclub for some time.

Napoleon has paint in his veins. He is the real deal, he has lived the artists life fully and has wonderful and funny stories to tell. He should have been killed about five times already and survived because he has a destiny as an artist to keep creating to keep bringing his soul into manifestation. It takes tenacity to really live like a true artist. Plus he is that very rare artist who is also a nice guy.

His talents are vast and deep, he is always pushing his own edge. Collector’s need to find him, because his time is NOW>

At the opening of this show other artists and gallerists were exclaiming that each painting was museum quality.

So get up to Toronto Canada asap the show runs till December 8 2012

They really need to be seen as the layers of surface are scintillating. They are like modern Rembrandt portraits. Really!

Yes the Frida Kahlo show is on at the Art Gallery of Ontario, she is my female art heroine. Napoleon is my art hero.

Trance paintings memory idol portraits

“Returning: Le Fantôme de la Mémoire”

 November 8 – December 8 2012

A series of 19 portrait paintings of apparitions

from the imaginal realms

inspired by Walt Whitman’s poem “Eidolons”

                                                                         I met a seer,

Passing the hues and objects of the world,

The fields of art and learning, pleasure, sense,

To glean eidolons.

Meet Mr. Bitumen

The poster boy for the show, Mr. B. appears from a dream dimension of his own, portrayed as a bulbous reflective death mask floating ominously over a ghostly Michael Jackson skull. Mister Bitumen is the phantom of future passed inspired by the environmental damage caused by the Alberta Tar Sands.

Each portrait contains a powerful presence and reveals its’ subjects’ own idiosyncratic essence. Brousseau spent several years painting in what he calls trance and meditation states stalking these eidolons and phantoms that he has pinned down in his paintings.

 Jesus apparition

There is the eidolon of Jesus Christ; in another, Abraham Lincoln appears and disappears through a chain link fence, the dividing poverty line. Other portraits are of beings from realms unknown. They appear to be looking curiously at the viewer, pushing forward from their space, trying to enter into our dimension.

 Abe Lincoln eidolon portrait

Brousseau created the works through a long meditative process. The painting are created using his own applied techniques.  He used many types of hand cut rollers with repeated images and applies multiple layers of paint to find the ghostly images. Once they reveal themselves, they are sealed in epoxy. The painting surface, is ground down then he rolls, grinds and brushes over and over in layers in search of more details. It’s like an archaeological dig.

Each painting is a dazzling show stopper. These beguiling phantoms and memories enchant the viewer, leaving an indelible impression.

Napoleon Brousseau is well known in Toronto for his giant ant sculptures that adorn the Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art in Toronto and The Cameron House, a famous local art bar.  Brousseau continuously produces astonishing new bodies of work in various mediums. He explores many themes -gender, politics, eroticism, and nature. His works always confronts the viewer with his distinctive perspective of seeing the world.

For the last seven years Brousseau has been the Art Director for his new media eco fundraising project “SEED”, which transforms cell phones into interactive artist tools. The public co-creates virtual trees with their phones which directly contributes funds to planting real trees in urban settings. Seed has been presented at the Winter Olympics 2010, Canada, the U.S., China, Australia and at The McMichael Art Gallery in Kleinburg 2012. A dedicated artist, he is a world traveller and is producing several books from his drawings of exotic explorations.

See more of the artist’s works @ website – http://www.napob.com

This is a must see show, the small Bloor Street West gallery barely can contain the energy and the presence of the work.
