Earth Day, 50 years

EARTH DAY Earth day is 50 years old. Started in 1970 by Jose Arguelles and as one of the originators of the Earth Day concept (due in part to the influence of astrologer Dane Rudhyar), Argüelles founded the first Whole Earth Festival in 1970, at Davis, California. 

The first EARTH DAY saw 20 million Americans came out to demonstrate for environmental protection and awareness.  Since 2009 it has been celebrated as INTERNATIONAL MOTHER EARTH DAY now celebrated in 192 countries with over a billion people world-wide participating. Reality check, Saturn Square Neptune 2015-2016

I am getting a deja vu writing this. I believe I have had a dream or several dreams about writing this. 

The thought that my yesterday title the end is near was too negative seems to have fit right in with the World Markets big slide “correcting itself.” No, sorry  the markets bubbles is bursting. Be forewarned. 

We are in new energies now from the planets as Jupiter is already in Virgo the sign of the harvest. You know the saying ” You reap what you sow.” And that is planet Saturn’s motto, the Lord of karma.

Jupiter is considered to be “DETRIMENTAL” while in Virgo as the planet is opposite his original ruling Feminine sign Pisces. All planets are considered in detriment when opposite their ruling signs, They are disempowered and weakened. So the big rewards are less big, and adventurous as befits humble, on budget, practical grounded  realistic Virgo. 

Saturn will also enter Sagittarius September 17

Which totally changes the reality principle. Saturn in Sagittarius is much more honest, forthright, ethical than we have seen while he has travelled through secretive, power-hungry Scorpio since October 5, 2012.

I would check out where these degrees fall in your natal chart because it is where the shit Saturn/Reality hits the Fan, Neptune in Pisces. The BIG Bubble bursts. Many people will run to hide their heads in the sand, in denial. Many will get high and drop out on drugs, pot, Prescription meds, video games, porn, alcohol,or your drug of choice; Kale smoothies, yoga, veganism, shopping, hipsterism, gurus, romantic delusions. The dream is over. 

These are major long-term cycles. The effects of both these planets will burst many bubbles and usher in a cleansing around belief systems, faith, higher education, and laws. 

Talk about a reality check.  Dues will have to be paid.

There will be major protests against corruption in the justice system. Government lobbyists will be stopped from controlling the entire system.   

While Jupiter is in Virgo the largest spiritual movement will be PAGANISM/EARTHING..

Back to the land, another Hippie return. NOTE that URANUS And PLUTO were both in VIRGO when the 60’s revolution was started by these two planets. Jupiter will touch these degrees again.   practical, grounded religion, practical philosophy, hands on , DIY, simpler, slower, living. Worshipping the earth, the land, the food, REAL FOOD, no GMO,plastic fast food. Simple pleasures. 

HEALTH and NATURAL HERBAL HEALING, super foods for cancer cures, eating your medicine. Exotic medicines – Chinese, Ayurvedic, Amazon jungle cures become widely accepted. 

Your life’s work must be of service to others, not about career, status or big bucks first. Being grounded, HUMBLE,-forget it Kanye and Donald.  There will be a surge in literary groups and circles of helping hands. Health is number one. GMO’s will be banned.

A pioneering lifestyle, downsizing. People will realize that living on credit is not real. There may be inflation as a counterpoint. SAVING is the New Black!  Saving? what’s that to most of the younger generation. 

Neptune in PISCES is faith, intuition, psychic energy, trusting what one knows within oneself to be authentically true. Oneness, dreaming. The truth will out about organized religions, promising “Heaven” bible belters,  ISIL, Tea party, the fraud yogis, the religious zealots from all religions, swindling the innocent for billions of tax-free dollars, will be OVER. The masses will see the illusion of the rhetoric.

The term the waking dream means that this life,what we think of as  reality { Saturn} is actually an illusion { Neptune in Pisces}.  There is a famous Chinese story about Chuang Tzu dreaming that he was a butterfly, flying about enjoying itself. Was the butterfly dreaming  it was Chuang Chou? We want to wake up from the dream where some never actually wake up their entire lives. Wake up to your eternal self dreaming it is experiencing the 3-D dimension. 

Neptune in Pisces

is Hollywood and the cultural illusions, these motifs will also change. The tools are in the hands of the people. Everyone is an artist, a creator. Painting, salons, poetry, singing, sound healing, spiritual healing, faith healing,will become commonplace.  There will be a more spiritual and educational nature to entertainment not just empty fluff.

” We need that to happen now. All of us “children” need to see what is really going on and speak out with that innocence from the place where we feel wounded by the Plutocracy.

My intuition told me to check out where TransPluto or ISIS is in the chart. TransPluto was the famed planet X,a hypothetical planet. With the misnomer ISIS for the Islamic State taking the name of the Great ancient Egyptian Goddess in vain i felt I needed to see how it fits in.

Saudi Arabia, predictions from Tara Greene

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, the biggest producer in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, passed away January 22 at age 90. King Abdullah was a U.S. ally who fought al-Qaida and sought to modernize the ultra conservative Muslim kingdom, even nudging open greater opportunities for women.

Kingship in Muslim dynasties tends to pass between brothers. Who should inherit? Ottoman sultans used to solve this problem by murdering their brothers. Saudi Arabia is in the midst of crashing oil prices and having to confront Iran as well as fighting against Muslim extremists allying itself with the U.S. and other countries. The 2nd largest Arabic country, 30% of the world’s oil supplies originate here as well as the most beautiful horses.

Pluto and Saturn are in a Cardinal T-square to Uranus at 22 degrees of Aries in the 10th house of worldly fame. Very interesting. Saudi Arabia was born with the kind of energy that is being re-formed now. Uranus symbolizing revolution, freedom, independence, new technologies, electricity, higher thought. Venus is at the 15th, the most powerful degree of Leo in the 2nd house of resources. Yes royalty, big wealth, we are Kings.

Mars is in early Leo in the 1st house of self-identity. Like their flag, this shows they are a nation of fighters, militant, macho, always on the defensive. The country identifies as feeling divinely empowered.  Mars is conjunct Pluto and opposing Saturn. This is a very heavy, conservative Plutocracy, Oligarchy, heavy-handed, controlling place.

Chiron at 28 degrees Taurus is conjunct the 7 weeping sisters, and I have taken the symbols of Astrology literally lately and they work! Women weep behind the curtains because they are disempowered.

The North Node or highest spiritual goal is in Pisces,ruler of oil, illusion, delusion, debt, spirituality in the 9th house of foreigners, higher education, freedom, religious tolerance, teachers.  Saudi must aim to be more inclusive. Pisces is the sign of Oneness.

2015 and beyond

Saudi Arabia is being transformed by Uranus and Pluto on its Ascendant/Descendant squared by Uranus now. A new identity and way of relating to the world is occurring.  

Saudi will have its Uranus Return which only happens once very 84 years. It starts in October 2015 and becomes more powerful in 2016. It is a harbinger of rebirth, revolution, freedom, big changes, new technology, innovation, breaking with the founding of the country.They may be much bloodshed. I see it as fundamentalists vs. liberation.There will be reformation, fomentation.

Uranus will be squaring the country’s Pluto in 2016. This will really rock the boat. Uranus is in for power plays, espionage, attack. 

Chiron, the wounded healer comet is conjunct to Saudi’s North Node this year. They will be feeling vulnerable, insecure, adapting to survival mode. This only happens once every 50 years.

Jupiter will enter Virgo on Aug 11 and will conjunct Neptune Jupiter south Node and Mercury by the end of 2015 and into 2016. Jupiter expands, but it can also be too much of a good thing. Jupiter symbolizes foreigners, justice, education, honesty. Saudi may have to diversify its products and change the way it communicates.

Saturn in Sagittarius will be squaring Neptune and Jupiter in 2015 which is Saudi’s fortunes. Neptune rules debt, even though they have been made super rich by America using its’ oil, they may have blown it all. 

Saturn will Retrograde back to 28 degrees during the summer of 2015 and be directly opposite Chiron in Taurus. This falls in the 5th house  indicated definite limits on self- expression. Chiron/Saturn is wounds of the father, so there may be huge infighting. Saturn will enter the 6th house of lean times, hard work and discipline. 

Neptune is almost now opposed to the natal chart at 8 degree s of Virgo from the 9th to the 3rd houses. Neptune rules oil and the 50% drop in oil prices in the last 6 months is almost unheard of. The party may be over! Neptune rules debt and illusion. You’d think they would have shored up some dollars for a rainy day. But you know how often it rains in the desert. 

Saturn will be opposing the countries Natal Moon in 2017 which indicates tough times and a sense of retreating or having hidden agendas in the world, of being like the Hermit.

Jupiter’s Cancer is very close to major Fixed star Sirius also 2 degrees from the U.S.  SUN at 13 degrees. China and Russia just signed trade agreements, for Russia to export cheap oil to China.

On Dec 14, China’s Premiere Li Keqiang went to Kazakhstan to sign cooperation agreements with  Prime Minister Massimov. China has already signed on to revive ancient Silk Trade Routes with a $40 billion infrastructure plan to link markets across Asia. Libra rules DIPLOMACY, grace, karma, balance; equal relationships which China does NOT have. Hidden enemies is a key word in China as well to watch for.

China is having a KARMIC CARDINAL CROSS as Uranus Pluto and the Nodes of the Moon are conjoining its natal Nodes. China’s North Node at 16 degrees Aries symbolizes its highest spiritual growth in the 2nd house of Money, values, resources and innovation, new inspirational energy and leadership is being aspected now and especially in 2015 at the last square on March 16 2015.  Yes China is once again the largest populated and economic force in the world.There may be a big shakeup coming in China in 2015 -2016. 

TURKEY

Turkey has now become a future player in Russia’s oil dilema.  Russia has surprisingly dropped a $45 billion south stream natural gas pipeline and is reaching out to Turkey to draw it in by building a Trans- Anatolian Pipeline running under the Black Sea to the Greek border, making Turkey an energy hub.  But the two countries do not agree on Syria, the Crimea or Cypress. We shall see. This will be a hot bed for a while.

TURKEY              

has Venus at 11 degrees of Cancer in its 4th house. So trying to keep its own values and resources safe and protected is a major issue. Turkey is a very ancient culture and stronghold. Turkey has Uranus at 8 degrees Aries in its 10th house of worldly status and an 8 degree Cancer Ascendant. With a 16 degree PISCES MID HEAVEN Turkey is very vulnerable and wounded by religious factions and being able to maintain its secular stance.  Religion will be a major political and economic problem and force over the next year as Chiron transits that point. Jupiter will hit the IC or roots of Turkey in October 2015 which may cause a mass exodus from here or an invasion from another country.

Yes sometimes the transits do exactly synchronistically coincide. The crash of the markets in October 2008 was exactly only 8 days after Pluto entered Capricorn.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you in advance.

I woke up this morning feeling inspired about Saturn entering SAGITTARIUS. There is a count down going on..now till December 23. I had a 24 line poem. Mercury in Sagittarius is known to be totally honest, and shoot their mouths off. Even though Mercury is weak in Sagittarius,and Jupiter, the 9th signs’ planet is also Retrograde, we can see this as shooting some positive arrows off into the Higher Courts of justice especially over the CIA Torture report and Bill Cosby, and police being held to task in the U.S. over racial murders.

For me it is 3 years on December 14 that my dear old dad, Harry Greene passed away. My Dad was 96 years old  when he died, so he lived a very long life and was clear mainly right till the end. I should live to be in as good shape as he was. My Dad never exercised or watched what he ate at all. He was a very fast walker though. He never complain about getting old, or any physical pain until he was 90 and his knees started to hurt him.  My Dad was  a Virgo, the messiest Virgo you could ever meet actually, but he had every stock from the market in his head- he was a broker. The knees are Capricorn’s most vulnerable body part.   I continuously make this subliminal slip and always write Dada which I have to fix when I write about him. I was Daddy’s little girl and his only child. I miss you Dad. I will light  a candle. We will watch old videos and drink a toast and tell some jokes in his honour. My Dad loved comedy and he was my “funny Daddy” when I was a girl.

Winter Solstice and 2015 preview

Solstice. The word means Sol=Sun, stands still. The Sun appears to rise and set at the same location on the horizon for three days. It really should be spelled SOULSTICE. It is an ancient wiccan/ pagan/Germanic tradition called YULE. Al indigenous peoples celebrated in the participation of the turning of the wheel of time. It is the REBIRTH of the LIGHT, in the northern hemisphere. The Christian religion couldn’t eradicate the ancient practice, so they made this into the day of Jesus’s birth -Christmas. This time also marks the ancient Roman festival of Saturnalia.

The two major solstices of the year are extremely powerful times to download new DNA encodings and contemplate new beginnings for the next 6 months. This is the real New Year to celebrate.

Its just a few days after the 6th exact Uranus Pluto square. We are already walking on broken glass and shattered dreams.

VENUS, the beautiful planet of women, love, wealth, beauty, relationships and balance is in Capricorn at 14+ degrees and SQUARING URANUS which may be just as painful as it sounds. She is also conjunct to PLUTO at 12+ degrees of the practical sign of reality, wealth, power and corporate structures.

WOMEN will lead the revolution! They are ready to take back their power in the world and confront old PATRIARCHAL- Plutocratic platforms which rule every single aspect of our world- religion, culture, beauty and take them down to build a new world in the upcoming revolution.

Venus rules $$$$ Bling and PLuto is the SUPER BIG BUCKS, The Koch brothers, Federal reserve, etc. The two planets are opposite the U.S. Natal SUN and also square to its natal Saturn at 15 degrees of LIBRA- you know what that means-KARMA, laws, justice, balance. Venus rules Libra BTW.  I would expect another  major financial crisis to hit the fan or to start an avalanche.

Mars is also sextiling Uranus from Aquarius,they are in mutual reception.  Mars is in Uranus’s home sign and Uranus is in Mars’s home sign. This further puts the speed to: LIQUEFY.

URANUS turns DIRECT in motion after being RETROGRADE since July 21. Planets are always at their most powerful as they station to change direction. Can you hear the screeching?

URANUS rules protests, liberation, revolution, freedom, chaos, Hi- tech inventions and there have been protests the likes of which we haven’t seen since the 60’s over Ferguson and the Staten Island killing of a black man negligently by police who weren’t indited for murder. The revolution is just going to get bigger with Uranus moving direct. I am so happy about this.

The Winter Solstice occurs during a Void of course Moon, since 4:35 am EST.

As with all Void Moons, it is a very spiritual time, a good time to do mundane things.

The Moon enters earthy, patient, practical, mature Capricorn at 5:25 pm PST/8:25 pm EST.

The NEW MOON occurs ten minutes later at 5:35 pm PST/8:35 pm EST/ December 22 at 1:35 am GMT at Zero degrees 6 minutes..

 

Of course all Aries, and Capricorns with planets at the middles degrees are getting personally affected by these energies. Also those born on the first few days of all of the Cardinal Signs- ARIES and LIBRA.

SCORPIO born at the very last days are also feeling much pressure as are all LATE FIXED SIGNS- TAURUS, LEO, AQUARIUS too.

GEMINI is getting quincunxed from early to mid degrees by the Capricorn energies.

LEO’s born August 13-17 are also feeling hard hit with Jupiter’s Retrograde as are AQUARIANS born Feb 13-17. Leo is also Qunicunx to Venus and Opposite Mars. You Lions may be feeling it financially, in the heart and of course the chaos.

THE NODES of the Moon are squaring Venus and Pluto and the South Node is conjunct Uranus.

Uranus/South Node to Venus, women and power, PLuto is a a huge green light signal to jettison the past. All the old scripts, the religious make belief stories about Eve, which define women as lesser than man, as his subordinate, chattel, just sexual orifices for male satisfaction, objects, feared and scorned will be shredded. 

Saturn, the ruling planet of Capricorn is at the very last “critical degree” of Scorpio, also indicating an end to a sex and money cycle about misuse of power, secrets,control, manipulation, the psyche, the shadow. Saturn in Scorpio is dealing with all the sexual fear, and unconscious emotions which govern us until we become conscious which is Uranus’ role.  The Uranus Pluto squares are to make us humans with real higher consciousness of ourselves each other and our world.  We have been acting mainly unconsciously.

The Sun Descends through Fairbanks Alaska, right through the ALBERTA TAR SANDS and Fort McMurray. I predict there will be major protests here against the Tar Sands and with the Canadian government. This Continues near Edmonton Alberta,the Sun cuts a swathe south through America exiting at NEW ORLEANS. I feel there is a serious earth shake up coming to this entire Mississippi area. The Sun setting on the Tar sands indicates it is calling it quits time and moving to SOLAR power.

Sun descends through CANCUN Mexico, through ECUADOR, BOLIVIA and  PARAGUAY the new conscious and politically aware,fastest growing economies in South America relatively and the Sun’s path travels near Montevideo and finally exits at Mar Del Plata in Argentina.

The Sun Ascends through Indonesia, Singapore and Macau and up norther eastern China.

PLUTO VENUS with Uranus nearby meet in the Guyana Highlands. Pluto and Venus cross in Raleigh North Carolina and north near Detroit,Buffalo, Thunder Bay in Canada and up through FLIN FLON, yes that a real place in Manitoba. Travels North to Fort Good Hope up in the Far Northern Territories of Canada, Land which will be challenged as to ownership as the arctic ice melts. They travel through Finland, Belarus, Romania and Bulgaria.

Jupiter and Pluto cross near Yellowknife.Venus Mercury Mars the Moon and Pluto are all applying pressure to the oil and mineral rich territory of the northern parts of British Columbia. Saturn is sitting on VALDEZ ALASKA, OIL SPILL ANYONE?

URANUS AND VENUS cross exactly through ISTAMBUL TURKEY indicating economic unrest here. Venus continues west of Alexandria Egypt.

THE NORTH NODE travels through Ankarra Turkey and right through Cairo Egypt.

MARS travels through Uzbekistan and Mashhad Iran. 

Saturn and the Sun cross in Saudi Arabia, Saturn going right through Iraq and up through Georgia.

Saturn Ascends through the Maldives through central India and Nepal  and crosses with Chiron in the Xinjiang area of China.

Uranus goes right through the UKRAINE indicating more turmoil in this entire region. 

URANUS And the Moon cross in Zengxhou China.The Moon is the people so expect protests, and revolution in this area.
