There are two very karmic symbols at this New Moon.

VENUS AND SATURN are in conjunction in Sagittarius. Exact Jan 8 at 12 degrees Sagittarius, in effect until Jan 11..  This is a beautiful karmic symbol of love, solidarity and honesty.  Love and maturity.

Venus and Saturn in Sagittarius is the pursuit of TRUTH and JUSTICE. Sagittarius speeds the energy of Saturn which is usually very heavy and leaden and takes time and requires patience. 

We want the changes now.

The Transiting North Node is the collective’s highest goals. In VIRGO these are; the harvest, food, to be of services, humility, communities, grass roots, health, discipline, budgets, intelligence, discernment, hard work. It is a feminine earth sign ruled by Mercury. 

Jupiter and North Node are opposite Chiron in Pisces conjunct to the South Node. There is a great healing happening.

This is a call to release old addictions to all things Pisces: religion, fantasies, glamour, drugs, gurus, projections on to STARS, living a vicarious life by watching reality shows. Letting go of whatever your addictions are: chocolate, sex, gambling, porn, yoga, work, the bible.

The devastation from Hurricane Sandy throughout the Entire East Coast of the U.S. is a huge wake up call. Seeing New York City partly submerged is a shock. A rude baptism.

Many thousands of Lightworkers have been sending protection, strength and comfort to all the people who are experiencing the devastation from Mother Nature.

So Mayor Bloomberg seeing the devastation Oct 30 says “must look into Climate change.” DUh.  It wasn’t mentioned at all by President Obama and Mutt Romney. I remember noting that after the last presidential debates blah blah blahs.

How many slaps does it take to wake people up?

The devastation from Nature is going to get stronger. The economic costs and consequences to people’s lives will be vastly multiplied over the next 10 years. Dr. David Suzuki has been warning us about this for the last 40 years.  No insurance companies will be able to cover the damages. Buildings will have to be built sustainably in reverence to Mother Nature.

 Millions of people have been affected, hundreds of thousands have died world-wide. Even more powerful storms like these will be the norm.

I have been seeing very bleak images of the next 10 years from Natural disasters and the  financial mayhem and  devastation of low-lying coastal cities, New York Miami, Los Angles, and other cities in the world being hit the worst.

Climate change, caused by  man-made pollution, driven by Corporate Greed will create a world so incredibly different from the one we take for granted now.

No you can’t fool with Mother Nature and I believe GAIA, the  Earth, our Mother is now forcing  us to change.

Native American prophecies and all kinds of psychics  have talked about EARTH CHANGES for over 30 years. I remember being told about this,and I remember the tsunami wave dreams I had in the early 90’s.

Gordon Michael Scanlon created a new map of the U.S. years ago with most of the U.S. submerged. But as the temperature rises it will be too hot to live in any part of the Southern U.S.

Hurricane Sandy Full Moon Stormy Monday Astrology by Tara Greene

Full Moons always bring High Tides. Hurricane Sandy ripped up the East coast of the U.S. after battering  the Bahamas.  Hitting Cape Hatteras and up the coast, then slammed into New York City on Taurus Full Moon.  Waves 13 feet high destroyed part of Atlantic City’s famed Boardwalk. President Obama declared emergencies in 6 states. The storms put the election campaigning  on hold.

Subways are closed, the Stock Exchange and NASDAC are also closed and will remain so on Tuesday. Thousands of flights were canceled. Winds of 100 miles an hour brought electric power outages to hundreds of thousands of people in New York City and in major New York Hospitals.

FEMA

As earth and climate change created storms, tsunami’s,earthquakes, tornado’s and hurricane’s getting stronger and wreaking more havoc  and devastation than ever before, the U.S. will need more $ to FEMA not less.

A replica of the 18th Century sailing ship HMS Bounty, built for the 1962 Marlon Brando movie “Mutiny on the Bounty” movie sunk off North Carolina.- There’s something symbolically significant to me here. The storm has killed 11 Americans and 1 Canadian so far. As I  am writing this SANDY has  hit Toronto, de-classified but still packing 80 mile an hour winds- that’s 128.7 kms an hour to you CANUCK’s and EURO’s. I can hear and feel the wind, and saw long flashes of lightning. I hope the power doesn’t go out before I get this done.

I do pray for everyone’s safety who’ve been affected by the Huge storm. I have relatives and friends in New York and New Jersey.

May 23 2012 is the celebration of the 78th birthday of Doctor Robert Moog the inventor of electronic music with his new fangled electronic synthesizer patented in 1966 which was filed in October 1969.

It’s 43 years or a Uranus opposition to the time the Moog synthesizer was first patented.  

Dr. Moog worked with early electronic music pioneers John Cage, and Wendy Carlos  an American composer and electronic musician, whose recording in 1968, Switched-On Bach, music by J.S. Bach painstakingly assembled, phrase-by-phrase, on the Moog which was a new and unknown instrument. The album was awarded three Grammy Awards in 1969. He also worked with Rick Wakeman of YES,and  Keith Emmerson of Emmerson, Lake and Palmer fame amongst others.

 Lady GAGA and all of modern music would be nowhere without Dr. Robert‘s invention.

So we see his MARS as  action principle, libido, drive, testosterone was ruled by VENUS and her love of music. It’s all about creativity.

I immediately thought that Dr. Moog was an ancient musician for many lifetimes, I say him wearing a Greek toga, playing a lyre and he worshipped Terpsichore the ancient GREEK GODDESS one of the nine MUSES of the Arts.

At 28 degrees 49 minutes of VIRGO conjunct his MOON { his mother}.

Dr. Moog’s mom must have been playing music all the time when she was pregnant or sang. Or he had a very strong soulforce connection and new what his genius was. He was conscious since before birth I sense, of what Dr. James Hillman calls the Daemon,or Guardian Angel  which he wrote about in his best selling book THE SOUL’S CODE which I highly recommend.

Dr. Moog had his SUN at 1 degree of Gemini, coincidentally close to the May 20th solar eclipse and MERCURY in GEMINI which is very strong in its home sign, plus Chiron at 4 and Asteroid Ceres conjunct the Sun. I bet Mr. Moog was a typical archetype genius but scatter-brained professor, very intelligent, very curious, very young, a great communicator.

NEPTUNE the “HIGHER OCTAVE” of VENUS is at 9 degrees of VIRGO, shows Mr. MOOG again as a symbol of a VENUSIAN, creative, diligent, hard-working, making NEPTUNE practical. NEPTUNE which rules spirit and all creative inspiration comes down to earth, is a useful time-saving VIRGO  tool.

indicating he was meant to be a very radical independent modern technology inventor, someone whose invention would bring freedom liberation, self-expression to. 29 degrees is also a critical or karmic degree,,,

He must have had a lot of difficulty with women,or was attracted to very powerful women. I sense that the Moog synthesizer, the prototype of all modern electronic pop music, had this LILLITH driving energy coming through Moog’s Soul behind it. As if Lillith Herself instructed him from the unconscious or super conscience to create an instrument of radical freedom,modern liberation… exactly where would LADY GAGA be with Mr. Moog or Rhianna or any rapper?

Why did GOOGlE choose tohonor DR. MOOG’s birthday now? Well the planet MARS is exactly on his Natal NEPTUNE now at 9 degrees of VIRGO.

We hail you and thank you Dr. Robert MOOG for your new fangled in 1966 invention. You gave the world a great invention.
