Muhammad Ali, Life and death of The Greatest

Muhammad Ali, ‘The Greatest” and three-time world heavyweight boxing champ, one of the most widely recognized people in the world, died June 3, 2016 after a most amazing life. My Dad was a huge boxing fan and one of my strongest memories as a child was of staying up late to watch the Friday Night Gillette boxing matches on the black and white TV with my Dad. That’s how we bonded. 

The undisputed greatest boxer of all time, outspoken black rights activist, war resister, devout Muslim and philanthropist was a larger than life personality. Muhammad was as swift with his famous remarks as for his fancy footwork in the ring. He was and will continue to be an enduring symbol for generations. He was a true cultural and political radical, a man who had even greater courage and influence outside of the boxing ring. He became a U.N. dignitary, fathered nine children, many from affairs  and was married four times. 

His Numerology adds up to 1960 the year he won the Olympic Gold Medal in Rome. He was a number 16 personality The Tower, ruled by Mars -very fitting for a man who blew up structures, and his own personality. His soul was a number 7, The Chariot, which is all about nurturing, protecting, mothering. He was  a sensitive caring soul deep down. 

Who was this complex powerhouse of a man? Lets look at his Astrology. Can we find the “floats like a butterfly stings like a bee” characteristics, the political radical? 

Born January 17, 1942

Ali was born in segregated times, in Louisville Kentucky. He was a Capricorn, strong, patient, goal oriented, hard-working obstinate man who wanted to serve his community with a 6th house Sun. This is the house of health, discipline and intellect. His Sun was opposed to PLUTO in LEO Retrograde in his 12th house of the unconscious, past lives, prisoners. Pluto opposed to the SUN is a powerhouse aspect. Leo is the sign of KINGS, courage, daring, loyalty and the heart. He felt like he was a King, and he most likely was in a past life.  Pluto in the 12th is a very spiritual, intuitive, compassionate, psychological place. The opposition joins these two aspects to give him a powerful commanding of respect soul. 

Ali’s radicalism stems from his MOON, MERCURY and VENUS conjunct in AQUARIUS. The airy Aquarius energy is always anti-establishment and uses ideas to fight with. Ali always sought freedom to march to his own drummer. Mercury in Aquarius was his outspokenes for Black power. Mercury is opposite Chiron in his 12th indicating how his wild radical talk would be also how he shot himself in the foot. This also shows Ali’s compassionate side. His Venus is Retrograde indicating past life karma with women, of valuing radical ideas. He was a natural inventive, pioneering person.Venus on the Descendent shows how his Beauty was his way of interfacing with the world. 

He announced his name change and conversion to Islam on March 6,1964 with the Sun at 15 degrees PISCES exactly on his South Node. He was reclaiming a past life religion. Saturn was at 27 degrees Aquarius, squaring Ali’s Natal URANUS -its ruling planet in his 10th house of career. 

April 28, 1967 Ali opposed being inducted into the U.S. Army. “I will not disgrace my religion, my people or myself by becoming a tool to enslave those who are fighting for their own justice, freedom and equality.”  Venus was at 15 degrees of Taurus  squaring his Natal Venus in Aquarius. Uranus-rebellion- is at 20 degree of Virgo in Ali’s 2nd house of resources trining Ali’s Natal Saturn in Taurus- stubborness and his Sun. Pluto is at 18 degrees of VIRGO also involved in that Grand Earth Trine- this position caused Ali to lose his boxing licence for four years when he was at his athletic prime. He became an anti-war hero to young students.

A boxer would have a strongly placed MARS and Ali’s was in Taurus and he was certainly built like a bull. Apparently the force of one of his punches was equal to a thousand pounds. Mars is the highest elevated planet in his natal chart. Ali was sensuous, strong, stubborn, had good taste, was aggressive, graceful and down to earth. Mars is at the APEX of a T-square between PLUTO in LEO and the MOON in AQUARIUS. These are fixed signs and gives incredibly willpower to accomplish anything.

Ali’s Ascendant was LEO, he had the courage of the LION in so many ways. He wore the crown proudly and was never intimidated by anything. Leo’s are leaders, actors, passionate, aggressive, strong, fiery and childlike. 

Ali had three planets in the house of worldly fame.  SATURN and URANUS conjunct in Taurus both Retrograde and JUPITER in GEMINI.

Saturn and Uranus represent history and evolution, tradition and non-tradition, the old Patriarchy structures and the radical new. This is where he stood up to the establishment and refused to fight in the Vietnam war. He was partly old-fashioned and partly radical. Both these planets Retrograde indicate past lives of being both the traditionalist and the freedom fighter. 

JUPITER in GEMINI is famous for expanding communications and giving the gift of the gab. Ali was famous for his rhyming taunts to other boxers. He was very charming and eloquent. His mind was curious and open. He had two names. This also gave him his speed and agility. He had a dual nature, it was hard for him to be faithful, he had four wives ad numerous affairs. 

His NORTH NODE, his highest spiritual goal was in VIRGO at 14+ degrees, the middle degree in his 2nd house of values and resources. The North Node in Virgo pertains to knowledge, health, organization, intellectual capabilities.  Ali used his mind as one of his greatest tool. The 2nd house is traditionally Taurus, the body, physical strength, another layer of meaning. Ali’s SOUTH NODE was in PISCES the sign of spirituality, oneness, the humanitarian, the poet, the morphing shaman, the compassionate one. Ali must have been a very spiritual person in his past lives. The North and South Nodes are square to Jupiter in Gemini indicating his quick mind and excellent communications skills. He wasn’t University educated.

FAITH is known from the planet NEPTUNE, ALi’s was at the last degree of VIRGO in his 2nd house of resources, what he identified as his resource. NEPTUNE is involved in a GRAND EARTH TRINE With his SUN and URANUS in TAURUS. This gave Muhammad incredible strength to move mountains. Neptune in Virgo is a practical dreamer, a person whose religion is their body, their work, a tool for them to work with. Ali had a great imagination and was indeed the butterfly or a natural chameleon. Neptune is also square to the Galactic Center in Sagittarius giving him a natural philosophical, spiritual, metaphysical orientation. He instinctively saw things from a Higher Perspective.

Ali had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1984 brought on by receiving thousands of punches to his head.  His health has been declining for years, although he served as a U.N. Ambassador, and was a flag bearer in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The Mutable Grand Cross of planets were aligned with Ali’s natal planets so strongly. Ali was reported to have said he knew he was going back to God as his brother reported. This is exactly what the planets indicate. Besides transiting Mercury conjunct to his natal Saturn, communicating with death, and the Moon symbolizing the mother, endings, intuition and conjunct to his Natal Uranus planet of higher consciousness and the unexpected. Mars was also opposite Ali’s Natal Uranus indicating this was a fast unexpected end. The transitting nodes are aligning with Ali’s natal positions. He was on the right track.

SATURN planet of death, is directly opposite to Natal JUPITER  in Gemini which the SUN {God, the Light} and VENUS {Love} are connected with. Transiting Jupiter planet of faith, optimism and trust is conjunct to his North Node and Neptune planet of the Faithful, of return to Bliss and Source is connected to his South Node in Pisces. This is indeed one who knows with all oh his mind and body that he is returning to Source. Ali had a beautiful death. May he RIP.

Death, sex, transformation, Saturn returns to Scorpio

Saturn, lord of Karma, the real host of Reality re-enters Scorpio June 14, Flag day in the U.S.  The Sun in Gemini conjuncts and sets fire to Mars today too. Mars rules Scorpio traditionally and this will definitely feel intensely sexual, with angry outbursts of bravado and ego energy amping up our minds and Souls/Sol as we really confront that Scorpionic energy. Wherever Saturn goes that is where reality is and where we are being tested. 

All of our greatest fears and biggest deepest shadows are what we need to wade through during this period. This culture is terrified of death and ageing, traditional cultures honored the elderly and their dead ancestors. 

Saturn is Chronos, Father Time, the Lord of Karma, death and maturity. Pluto is Lord of Death, transformation, refuse, the unconscious, sexuality, power, control, secrets, obsession. These last three months of return to Hades realm, the underworld, Hell, the valley of the shades is huge. We are dealing with Two death-dealing and transformational very powerful planetary Gods. 

I know some people are terrified of this but I see it as a  huge last-ditch literal opportunity to re-immerse ourselves in deep shit shadow work. Saturn is leading us into the filth, rot, refuse, and trenches of Hades, Pluto’s realm again. We should be waving white “I surrender” flags.The underworld is our upper world. 

Everything which we project onto “others” as bad,unacceptable or fearful is our own unaccepted shadow material. To fundamentalist Christians it is everything that is not them- transgender, or gay people. To racists it is blacks, Hispanics, Muslims or Jews, “goyim” ; to vegans it is meat eaters.  We need to move through our own shadows and learn to accept them in order to become whole and balanced.  The shadow is fear itself, fear of the unknown, fear of death, fear of getting old of being alone.

Saturn will spend 3 months till September 17 in Scorpio just before the Shemitah year finishes September 14/15  Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. 

Saturn will be moving at a snail’s pace in Retrograde motion back to 28+ degrees of Scorpio until August 1st/2nd when it turns Direct.  Saturn is lead, and so we will all be feeling Saturn’s heavy weight to everything we do.

We will be getting the first close contact with Pluto as the New Horizons spacecraft makes its closest fly-by ever on July 14. Pluto’s discover Clyde Tombaugh’s ashes are aboard the spacecraft a fitting tribute. The symbolism is also so synchronous.

Previous Scorpio Saturn peeps were born October 1953-October 1956 and the third Saturn in Scorpio generation was born  between 1924-1926. 

Saturn is in mutual reception with Pluto again as they were for the last two years.

Saturn symbolizes the father, any incest and all types of sexual abuse by males is one of the major shadows we need to face. Long buried memories from this life time or even past lives need to be rooted out.   Scorpio is deep emotions, any type of felt emotional abuse by anyone; a parent, teacher, authority figure, or stranger needs to be embraced, cried through and brought out into the Light.

We need to fess up with our secrets, coming clean is healing. Obsessions, rage, control, OCD, our defenses, our projections and hates, that is all shadow material.

Cardinal Cross in effect, Ottawa shooting by Tara Greene

I am so sad to see the terrible shootings and innocent lives taken in both Ottawa and Quebec in the last few days in my country. Condolences to the families of the slain especially to young Corporal Nathan Cirrillo. I will just look at the chart of the October 22 Ottawa shooting and the city’s founding chart.

I have the chart of Ottawa as a city founded on September 29 1827.

The October 22 occurred just before 10:00 am  at Canada’s National War Memorial in Ottawa where Corporal Nathan Cirrillo was shot by 32-year-old Canadian Michael Zehaf- Bibeau, a Muslim,  with a previous police record. The shooter ran into the Parliament buildings where he fired 30-50 shots before being killed by Seargent at Arms Kevin Vickers ,a veteran. Canada’s capital city was on lock down for 12 hours. It made International news. It is now believed that the shooter acted alone and is not connected to a previous shooting in Montreal by a young man who was also Muslim.

Just wanted to have a quick look at whats going on in Ottawa. It was also under the Solar eclipse beams October 23.

You can see from the charts that the planets Pluto and Uranus are in the CARDINAL CROSS effect.

PLUTO in transit is sitting a couple of degrees away from Ottawa’s Natal Neptune at 13 + degrees Capricorn in the City’s own 12th house. What does this mean?

rules death, Plutocracy, fascism, power, Terrorists, control, secrets, war, slander, violence, terrorism, spying, armies. Pluto in Capricorn is literally corporate structures, historical buildings.

NEPTUNE  

rules religion, and the 12th house is the house of hidden enemies, illusion, delusion, fantasy, addictions, drugs, oil, and by liaison oil rich countries.

Pluto is also opposite to Ottawa’s natal Saturn at 19 + degrees Cancer in the 6th house but on the cusp of the 7th.  

SATURN

is also death, limitations, restrictions, order, time, testing, obstacles. Saturn is Father time, all Patriarchal religions and structures, the army, defenses, all organizations, well-disciplined structure.  

Saturn in Cancer is the history of the family, the country, nurturing, emotional safety,  home. 

PLUTO in Capricorn in conjunction to Neptune  and square to Saturn has caused the destruction of  the feeling of safety and national security in this country. Canada has always felt SAFE.

URANUS in ARIES is in the 2nd house of resources, money, values. URANUS is exactly square to Ottawa’s Natal Neptune in Capricorn and is also square to Saturn in Cancer forming a T- square.

URANUS is chaos, radicalism, change, revolution, freedom, electronics, the internet. 

Uranus is also widely opposed to Mercury in Libra which rules communications, and Jupiter in Libra which is International peace, justice, education, religion, fairness,which are in the 8th house of others money, resources, death, inheritance.

 URANUS and PLUTO form a GRAND CARDINAL cross to Ottawa’s natal planets which evoked these sad realities at this time. These two planets which created the 60’s have just changed the safety game and the way our National Security will work from now on.

I have heard that PM HARPER has rushed through an undemocratic surveillance law while in the “terror” of these single lone ” self- radicalized” shooters.  I cannot stand that Harper and his oil tar sand billionaire environmental murderers and his fundamentalist Christian beliefs are exploiting this. He has personally ruined Canada’s  once honorable reputation as a non violent non-intervention country.. 

Tsk Tsk Canada being the U.S. hand maiden and blow job giver. Canada used  to stand alone. This smacks of the same bullying and stealing of democracy as is happening in the U.S.

Canada has always been a nice country. We do always say I am sorry even if it isn’t our fault. We don’t allow citizens to own guns except by registry.  We’ve had universal health care for 60 years. 

Canada has always had an open door policy to refugees and allows 300,000 new immigrants into the Country every year. Some of that is a good thing. I do not wish to see  democratic rights infringed upon because of  this “opportunity” to create a further police state to protect citizens freedoms.  Protecting Peace loving, law-abiding, integrated to Canadian values citizens.  These groups,whoever they may be, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, anti-abortionists whatever that state that they will kill and terrorize innocent people who are not -whatever  their belief systems are have no place living in Canada.  Canada must not support and aid the very people who wish to destroyed peace, freedom and sanity in the name of liberalism and equal rights. It is  feeding a cancer.  Also the Conservatives downsized the budget for mentally ill persons. The times have changed and require different responses. It is very complex.

I wish we could start all over with a totally secular country and policy. Like John Lennon’s song Imagine. Religion would be a quaint antiquated archaeology. 

 Just as the Dutch did when Van Gogh’s grandson was killed by a radical Muslim. Holland in its Liberal sanity immediately set rules to every person  immigrant and otherwise that if they did not want to abide by the freedoms that the Dutch wished to live by such as gay rights and women’s rights, sexual and drug legality, and if they did not speak the Native tongue they would have to be deported. It is simple straightforward logical. As you would discipline a child with proper behaviours.

Canada has to decide what it stands for. What its values are. What does the True North strong and free mean these days?

Honestly I didn’t listen to this interview but have heard his view before,, just wanted to look at who this man is. Astrology tells all.

Anti-Islam film, Astrology of Neptune in Pisces from Tara Greene

You can’t have missed the latest outbreaks of Muslim rage- the U.S. official killed in Libya last week  allegedly over a  low-budget trailer made in the U.S .and aired on YouTube that has fanned unrest around the world, leaving at least 18 people dead.

The film, entitled Innocence of Muslims, believed to have been produced by a small group of extremist Christians, has led to a week of furious protests outside US embassies and other American symbols in at least 20 countries.

Following complaints, Google is now barring access to the video in Egypt, Libya, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Malaysia, while the government has restricted access to YouTube, which is owned by Google, in Afghanistan.

Finally a smart move. It is the ONLY Wise move to make and should be whole heartedly backed. The price of raging and killing innocent people is that Muslim’s DONT get to have their inflamed cake and eat it too.

It is still unclear who made the film, some pin it on an Isreali- American, other say it is extremist Egyptian Copts.

We live in a Democracy in the Western World where freedom of speech is an essential part of that right. In a global society the  Western world’s freedom offends totalitarian Muslim governments and religion’s. We are free, They are not.

Therefore logically they should all stay within their media image safe prisons for their own safety. Why do they allow such things as YOUTUBE in their countries? It should be banned by themselves 24/7!

 It is their right as totalitarian constitutional rights to do that. Why aren’t they? They want their cake and eat it too.  They must love watching porn and then hating westerners because of it.

IT is totally hyprocritical to say the least and innocent people are being killed over something Muslims are prohibited from watching anyways by their own laws.It’s all just inflamed propaganda and insanity on the part of Muslim’s. The whole scenario is a crazy time warp.

Years ago I was travelling through Mali and Algeria it was the first time for me of travelling through a primarily Muslim country. I loved the call of the muezzin and the beautiful minarets and was amazed to watch the men stop 5 times a day, bend down on their prayer rugs and face Mecca and pray. I though it was beautiful.

My friend who was a French film maker who had been living in Cote d’Ivoire and directing films for television told me that Muslims were not allowed to watch movies. Their religion prohibited them from making “graven images” copying the beauty and perfection of the human form was GOd’s job only and like the Jews there is a prohibition on human image making in art which then extended to photography and film. Hence the extraordinary beauty of Arabic design, tile work, geometry.

IMAGE MAKING IS AGAINST MUSLIM LAW

Muslims aren’t allowed to watch movies anyway. The glamour of the silver screen is anathema to their own religious laws. Therefore any film against Mohammed doesn’t actually exist to Muslims. Therefore they doth protest a fantasy. They are all dreaming….

Film, photography, religion, art, fantasy, illusion, delusion, addictions, fog, imprisonment, karma, credit cards  and OIL are all issues ruled by one planet. I am just observing this sad alarming and scary situation knowing full well that the religious fantasies and illusions are only beginning to fog up the entire atmosphere..

GOOGLE needs to prohibit Muslim countries from accessing the information highway because it does include freedom of speech and Build a VIRTUAL MUSLIM WALL around every Muslim country. China does it. That is the price they must pay. GOOGLE treat them like the children they are. YOU dont like it, you dont get to see it. End of story. LOGIC and common sense.

I fear it is all being inflamed and used by Whomever to start new wars in Iraq or Iran…inside jobs too, people who don’t like the overthrow of old dictators.

It’s a sad sad situation. Delusion delusions and more delusion. The Christian Right in America, Romney- is the almost equal opposite to the Muslim’s, they are shadow puppets of the other-as fundamentalists, the energy is the same – scapegoating blaming whatever they fear and each other. As a Feminist both religions and most world religions are all about repression of women. It’s so obvious.

I am projecting in my own Neptunian fashion that all the  world’s major religions will be vanquished by the end of Neptune’s transit through its home sign.

I’ve wanted to write about Syria’s chart and President Assad for months now. The rebels who have been valiantly fighting for 17 months have dealt a major blow to dictator Assad’s regime since July 18 when an explosion killed four members of Assad’s inner circle inside a security headquarters in Damascus, a blow that wiped out much of the top echelon of his military command structure and shattered the reputation for invulnerability that his family has held since his father seized power in a coup in 1970. The reports came in at 7:13 pm EDT via Reuters on that day. Since then fighting has expanded to another city  Aleppo. The rebels have taken the Bab al-Salam border crossing with Turkey on Sunday.

Lets look at SYRIA’s chart for when Assad took over. I will speak about Assad and the country interchangeably.

The Astrology chart of the takeover of the Assad family is set for November 13 1970 at 6:15 am Damascus.

The Assad Syria is a SCORPIO SUN  nation,meaning a country ruled by power, control, secrets, obsession, death, sadism, masochism,all the heavy dark stuff.

The Assad Syria is a triple Scorpio threat energy with Jupiter at 17 degrees of Scorpio amplifying the Scorpionic Sun obsessive energy and Venus Retrograde at 15 degrees Scorpio. The Ascendant is also Scorpio which really makes this what’s called a Stellium in my books. A stellium is a 3-4 planets, or angles all in the same Sign. They are especially very tightly bound together within 6 degrees.

The Sun is on the Ascendant , the face Syria shows to the world, a death mask. The Arabs were master astrologers. I believe this chart was chosen for the power of the Sun rising with Jupiter.  Although Jupiter is combust or toasted by the SUN’s rays which weakens its’ effect. That’s a good thing, as bad as the situation is. This puts Jupiter and Venus in the 12th house of secrets, hidden enemies, prisons, karma and SELF-UNDOING/ self- sabotage. This regime was never meant to last.

The chart has very simple energy but the planet in SYRIA’s chart have very difficult aspects.

The MOON, representing the people, the emotions, moods, temperament and the unconscious, mothering, is in TAURUS  in the 6th house of work, and servitude, conjunct to Saturn RETROgrade at 19 degrees. You have to see the chart of a country as a person, writ large.

The MOON is the people and Assad sees them totally as his servants. Assad thinks/feels that it is his patriarchal right and authority -{SATURN} to lord it over them. Did I mention the TAURUS famous stubbornness? Assad will not back down.  Assad/the moon is someone who does not express emotions, cold, restricted, cut off, doing his duty, all business, no heart. This shows Assad as a wounded, un-nurtured, women hating man himself.

MARS- the drive, action, defenses, warrior energy of Assad/Syria is at 15 degrees of Libra conjunct Uranus at 11 degrees both in the 11th house representing wishes hopes dreams, organizing, groups. This is interesting because it represents a totalitarian takeover, a revolution, unexpected violence. The negative way would be military might used for crushing freedom. The positive way is rebel forces for freedom always fighting against the military.The energy is shifting.

Mercury- thinking and communications, the unconsciousness of Syria is conjunct Neptune at ZERO degrees of Sagittarius in the 1st house.

 The 1st house is self-identity. Neptune conjunct Mercury is illusions in the media. MISinformation.Delusions, addictions. Neptune rules actors,  glamour, false prophets. Assad thinks he’s a real visionary.

Pluto the planet which represents  the Soul, the unconscious, the driving force is at 29 degrees of Virgo. Any planet or point in a chart at the 29th and last degree represents the sum, the max of that signs’ energy. SYRIA, ASSAD is an OCD I bet. A perfectionist who is totally insecure and tries to control everything around him.

The North Node or highest evolutionary point is at 29 degrees of AQUARIUS, again the last “critical” degree. It is exactly conjunct the Root chakra or IC, the grounding of the country’s chart.  It’s roots are in the future. SYRIA is meant to evolve into revolution, freedom, liberation, higher group consciousness,  new technology. Isnt that fascinating?  ALso interesting is that it’s very close to one of the 4 major ROYAL STARS of PERSIA, close to FOMALHAUT the Star  representing the ARCHANGEL GABRIEL close by at 3 degrees of PISCES.
