Fated shift, into Motherlode in Cancer 2018-2020.

The True North Node of the Moon, a Fated highest collective directive, our “True North” leaves the fiery, dramatic, leadership sign of Leo and enters the emotional, nurturing, watery, feminine sign of Cancer, the Mother, November 6th for the next 18 months until June 4, 2020.  The Nodes always move Retrograde, backward in the Zodiac as do the Procession of the Equinoxes. The shifts repeat every 18.6 years.

We will want Cancerian motherly support and feelings, a mother-centric not patriarchal corporate everything for profit values.

Some astrologers use the ‘Mean Nodes” this doesn’t mean these Nodes are bitchy or nasty. In that case, the Mean Nodes change on November 15th. There are 9 days of a discrepancy.

The North Node is a symbol of emotional growth and of evolving Dharma. The South Node symbolizes unresolved karma, our past lives, or actions that we individually and collectively accrue through our DNA. Karma is merely cause and effect. The symbol of Karma is JUSTICE in the Tarot, the scales of which lawyers still use today. The Universe seeks balance.

When we are living from our South Node we are largely unconscious of our actions, past lives and deeds and blindly tend to repeat the same negative behaviors over and over again recreating the same old, same old effects leaving us wondering why this is happening to us. Has someone cursed me? Is it just our own dumb bad luck?

When we become aware and conscious and investigate our behaviors by asking ourselves how we really feel, and why is this same thing {effect} happening to us over and over, we begin to take responsibility for ourselves and stop blaming outside influences. This karma then becomes our dharma, our living from a freely created destiny-the unfamiliar new territory of the North Node.

For the last 18 months, we’ve been seeing the South Node effects of Aquarius, a detached collective sign of rebellious individuals seeking freedom from those in power, the Leo North Node-the sign of Kings, leaders, the superwealthy. 

What will the immediate effects of leaving the Aquarius South Node behind look like? People will want emotional contact and will not be content with virtual, detached Aquarius hi-tech social media we’ve been living through.  

The South Node in Capricorn helps all of us remember a long montage of all the long cold hard winters our ancestors spent just trying to survive, or the difficulties thousands of soldiers faced in the endless trenches and wars for the machine of Government or duty; or the endless hours of work billions of people have endured as slaves. The South Node in Capricorn brings strength, practicality, and endurance.  It symbolizes work, hierarchies, careers, corporate structure, history, time, traditions, and the lure of the physical world which we need to reaccess now.

And most importantly Capricorn symbolizes the Patriarchy, the forefathers. The PATRIARCHY and all of its religious dogma of control by the fathers must be reassessed now. We are leaving behind Capricorn old Patriarchal Corporate power and world domination themes. We will be letting go of being ruled by the tyranny of linear time, the focus on the material world, capitalist accrual, leaving behind the iron rule of the Patriarchal God- the punishing, controlling, jealous, angry, manipulative Father figure, separated from the Matrix and the earth whose sole purpose has been to dominate Her and all women.

We must evolve towards the loving nurturing of the Cancerian Great Mother now. We are all tired lonely and worn out from so much hard work and being enslaved to the Patriarchy- women and men too.

Let the Children Play

We all need to allow our inner children out to nurture and to play and to simply be and not do. We must simply allow absolute unconditional love for who we are and to be nurtured by the Living Goddess which is the Milky Way Galaxy we are always in her. We must bring children back to a state of innocence and trust. Too much child-trafficking and mind control has been allowed.

We need to fill ourselves up with and become the Mothers of Compassion, like Kwan Yin, Green or White Tara or Mother Mary to Christians, the Shekinah to the Jews, to all the children of the earth- that is our prime survival directive now. 

Cancer is associated with food, and with water. Issues around having enough food and pure Non-GMO foods will become primal. Preserving and having good clean nonlead, non-fluoridated, uncontaminated clean water will also be absolutely essential. The Oceans will also take a central role for the world’s attention as the oceans will soon have 1 ton of plastic to every 3 tons of fish in them. Our oceans are dying and their importance on the climate in the world is huge. 

Restoration of the Innocence of the child

Cancer is all about family. A return to old-fashioned home-cooked meals and the traditional Sunday night dinners as our parents and grandparents used to have will be revived but also with friends.  

Many women will choose to leave corporate careers to establish more feminine valued centered ways to work. Job sharing, community daycare, food dispersion, workstations, and nursing each other’s babies. Having children will become very popular as life will be valued in itself. women rush to get pregnant and have larger families. Water births and old-fashioned home births with midwives will be hip. Nursing babies in public will be the norm. As will all functions of women’s bodies- menstrual health, sexuality and aging. The Crone is also a Cancerian aspect of the Mother, the wise elder or Grandmother.

We will choose to feel our feeling with the North Node in Cancer. We will cry whenever we feel like it, whether it’s our party or not. 

Our homes, our roots, and ancestors become very important. We will want to know where we come from and what our foremothers felt and did. Many millions of women’s lives have been overlooked overshadowed and ignored by history. Their lives will not be in vain and this will be restored.

We will recognize the wisdom of the child who naturally dances, makes art, sings, and plays. We will enjoy living in the Moment, of being continuously awed by the universe and its miraculous nature. We will be innocent and naive and believe in fairies, unicorns, magic and unseen friends. We are open to feeling all that is around us in every dimension. We learn to trust our intuition and our feelings fully. We will learn to live and love as fountains of wisdom.

This is a very emotional sentimental traditionally mothering nurturing time. We want to head to the waters to our place of emotional safety and refuge.

Interesting that Venus will be in CANCER during the August 21 Great American SOLAR Eclipse in Leo. AMERICA is signified by MOM and Apple pie. Very Venus in Cancer things.

Home is where the heart is and the heart IS  home. This energy turns our hearts and our stomachs homeward bound.  This is very feminine energy, highly sensitive moody energy.

Do beautify your nest, put in a water feature, renovate a kitchen or bathroom or find a place you will love to call home.

This is the nurturing, plentiful, bountiful, beautiful Mother Goddess. The way to anyone’s heart with Venus in Cancer is literally through their stomachs.  Eat, eat like a stereotypical  Jewish Mother. Children will express more emotions and will need to be especially nurtured and cared for during this time.  

Venus, was born from the ocean,  the source of all Life,  as in the famous Botticelli painting. CANCER, is the ocean, the protective womb, the ocean.

FOOD + LOVE

Cancer is nourishment, Venus is quality. Venus in Cancer loves to eat, loves gorgeous presented food that is highly comforting and nutritious.  There will be lots of cooking going on. Do take a cooking class to learn how to prepare and cook food and as a social means too. Cancer can be crabby and defensive and this also point out to eating disorders, eating for your emotions. 

Venus in Cancer will highlight our need to protect our food from destructive GMO’s and MONSANTO’s hell-bent on destroying the food supply. Venus on the half-shell. The value of all creatures in the ocean is important, Whales, dolphins, sharks, narwhals, seals, fish,  crustaceans, these all need to be protected. 

WATER

Spend time near water, swim if you can, meditate and reflect on water. Do stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water. Do a water puja every day. A water puja is a ritual where you offer water to a Goddess as a thank you. Water symbolizes consciousness as well as emotions. It can be done every time you wash your hands.  

WATER is also our most precious commodity. Water shortages in California, in Brazil and in many parts of the world highlights our need to save, protect and value Water. Nestle’s CEO says humans DO NOT Have the right to water!!!! Such arrogance, such demonic energy. If we don’t have water there is no food, and no nothing else. The fashion excesses of our modern cultural show how values {Venus} are totally askew. There is technology that can make water out of thin air literally. These technologies need to be funded and brought into public usage.

PSYCHOLOGICALLY

It will be easier to express and be receptive to emotions during this month. Water dissolves all hardness so both men and women will benefit from this. Tears will flow way more easily, so use these cleansing tears as a release. 

HOME

Do beautify your nest, put in a water feature, renovate a kitchen or bathroom or find a place you will love to call home. Go visit your Mom, sisters. Appreciate your “sisterhood.”  Volunteer to help a women’s shelter, raise money for homeless people, volunteer at a food bank, or become a big sister.

July 4, Oceans of love, Cancer New Moon,

The New Moon in Cancer July 4th at 4:00 am PDT/ 7:00 a.m. EDT/ 11:00 am GMT is conjunct to the very famous and brightest star in the Heavens, SIRIUS. This Star is famous in the myths of the Ancient Persians, Indians, Polynesians, Chinese and Dogon people in Africa. The great star heralded the flooding of the Nile to the ancient Egyptians where it was worshipped as Sothis and associated with the Great Goddess of the cosmos ISIS. Sirius is also known as the Dog-Star in the Constellation of Canis Major.  Native Americans call it the Wolf or coyote star.  Dogs are mans best friend and wolves are considered teachers and connected with the moon. 

SIRIUS is considered to be a very spiritual star. According to Theosophy it is believed that the seven stars of The Pleiades transmit spiritual energies of the seven Rays from the Galactic Logos to the Seven Stars of the Great Bear then to Sirius. 

July 4th is also America’s 240th birthday!  The Sun at 12+ degrees Cancer is almost on the U.S. Natal Sun at 13+ degrees Cancer. July 4th was symbolically chosen as the Nation’s birthday by the founding father’s who were Masons so that the important Star SIRIUS would empower the U.S. identity. 

240 is an important number because 3 x 24 or 240 = 72 which is a mystical and powerful number in astronomy. It takes a “Fixed Star”  72 years to move one degree. The Sun is 2 degrees wide. The symbolic number 144,000 is a doubling of 72.  240 is also twenty, 12 year archetypal Jupiter cycles. 

Coinciding with the New Moon is also NASA’s historic unique spacecraft JUNO which will get very close to JUPITER for the first time ever on this day. It is hoped. There will be live broadcasts of Juno’s findings. Juno is the Roman name of Zeus’s wife and an Asteroid which is presently at 29 critical degrees of LIBRA opposite Uranus and Eris and Ceres. Things may not go as planned.

This a very watery, emotional, sentimental NEW MOON. The U.S. has long been associated with Mom, apple pie, patriotism, home and “family values.” 

There are a total of 9 planets The South Node, and an asteroid in WATER SIGNS. 

The SUN and NEPTUNE are in an exact trine July 3rd and that energy is still in effect. It will feel very spiritual, dreamy, romantic, sentimental, warm and fuzzy. This is very creative energy for Hollywood, image makers, musicians, and artists and everyone who tunes into the subtle flow of loving energies.. 

The SUN MOON MERCURY and VENUS are all within 11 degrees of each other. This is a quadruple Cancerian energy. Mars now moving slowly direct is in Scorpio at 23 degrees, trining Venus. VENUS and MARS trine exactly on July 6th.  Athena, Goddess of wisdom and war strategy is in Pisces conjunct to Neptune, the South Node of the Moon and Chiron spread out over 19 degrees. They all form a very very powerful GRAND WATER TRINE.

We may feel totally awash in feelings, in that kind of shiver that I just felt when I tuned into the power of the unconscious emotional Karmic connection that all humanity shares.  Drink lots of water to aid the process of washing away anything sticky, gritty or unecessary.

The South Node in Pisces indicates a time of letting go, of surrendering, of releasing old outworn self-sabotaging unconscious habits, of addictions that keep us bound by fear, of old patterns of martyrdom and co-dependency.  

JUPITER and the NORTH NODE in VIRGO are sextile to the SUN And MOON in CANCER + Mercury and Venus. This is where we need to aspire to, the North Node, in earthy, practical,humble, budget conscious, hard working, being of service to the earth, to our harvest, our health, our food and our work. 

SATURN Lord of KARMA is inconjunct to the Cancerian New Moon and square to Neptune Athena and the South Node in PISCES, indicating that there is some heavy challenges from the past to be dealt with which we cannot overlook. We must take responsibility for any addictions we and the culture has been using to avoid dealing with the truth at hand. We cannot drown out through any means, by consumerism, mass media brainwashing, sex addiction or eating our way to numbness to ignore them. Saturn in Sagittarius insists on the truth, of the highest ethics, of going to the highest courts of spiritual law and true justice. The square to Neptune indicates secrets, hidden subterfuge in organizations, addictions, smoke screens, false trails and delusion, false idol worshipping which will come out in the wash from the dirty laundry. 

ATHENA can help us be brave as she is squaring Saturn in Sagittarius. Interesting that the focus is on the largest planet in our solar system JUPITER, as Athena was the first goddess to be born not from a woman but birthed fully grown and armored from Zeus’s head. This is a symbol that she was an idea, a thought form, definitely a father’s daughter, usurped by the Patriarchy from an earlier myth.  If we need to stand up to the Patriarchy in its hundred fold armed grasp then Athena is ready to do battle. 

ERIS the Goddess of shit disturbing and Uranus and Ceres the earth Goddess are in another posse aligned in ARIES and squaring VENUS and very widely squaring the SUN and MOON.

Eris and Uranus are ensuring that chaos reigns every day, their purpose is to provoke change.Ceres on the other hand is the Great Mother and very much aligned with the sign of CANCER, symbol of the personal mother. Ceres square Venus is seeing how much power and strength women have. The power of love and unconditional nurturing and support is the most powerful tool we have.

URANUS and PLUTO T-SQUARES

These two outer planets are still in a square aspect even though their seven exact squares between 2012-2015 are over they will remain within 10 degrees of a square until 2020.  They are in a separating square which will be less than 4 degrees apart at the end of 2016.  

From June 30- July 7 VENUS in CANCER is in a T-square with Uranus and Pluto adding an economic and very feminine clout to their square.  

MERCURY in CANCER also squares Uranus and opposes PLUTO from July 7-11.the SUN in Cancer also does the same from July 7-16.

If you remember those exact squares and T-squares with other planets you will recollect how much more intense the energy of each planet involved becomes. 

If you have NATAL planets or angles between 16-24 degrees ARIES, CAPRICORN, CANCER and LIBRA you will be feeling the evolutionary pressure of the changes impinging on you in a myriad of ways.  

I have noticed with my own clients that some have not already gone through the major “slash and burn” of a Uranus in ARIES Pluto in Capricorn square yet. This extra ingredient of Venus the Sun and Mercury may be the straw that breaks the camels back. This is a good thing.

Our feelings, relationships, homes, emotional security needs and families are being challenged as Venus enters the Mix. Women in general are called to step into the Divine Feminine power. The SUN in Cancer challenges our identities in the world and Mercury in Cancer challenges us to open and to change our minds and our ways of thinking.

Water is receptive, with all of this water. Make sure that you are near water, in a big soak at the New Moon or using water in a ritual of going back into the Divine WOMB.  Spend time receiving, listening and attending to your innermost feelings and intuition. Let the spirit of water wash you clean in a cosmic Baptism in a rebirthing time.

Connect with the Divine Cosmic Mother of us all and feel her unconditional love for every man woman and child, creature and living thing in existence. Sit with this energy until you feel totally cleansed and renewed.

There is three days from the New Moon when the Moon is not visible which is considered to be sacred Red Tent time, a real and a metaphorical bleeding time. Let old things pass away. Listen to your dreams over the three nights.  The Moon remains in Cancer until the 5th. Stay as still and quiet as you can for three days.  Send healing energy to all the waters of the earth as the Oceans are endangered.

Cancer moon tunes us deeply into our emotions. It is a sentimental, caring, nurturing,mothering, time. Yes Cancer Moon also makes people put on their armor to protect their underlying sensitivity. You may feel like staying home because home is a Cancerian place to be.   Cancer is all about family, especially the mother and children.

1. Be near water.  Cancer is a cardinal water sign so it is a must too spend time in water, near it and take lots of baths.

2. SCRY Meditate with a bowl of water. Scrying is an ancient method to enhance intuitive skills. Use a candle in the dark and gaze at the water’s surface, unconscious images will arise.  

3. Family get togethers. Call your mother at least.

4. FEED your stomach well. Cooking and improving nutrition Cancer rules the stomach. 

5. Volunteer,  some time to helping under privileged mothers, older women and/or children or at a Food Bank.

6. CRY, It’s your party and you can cry if you want to. Anywhere, anytime. Crying is healing. Let those emotions out. 

7. Remember your ancestors . Cancer is all about your roots, ancestors, honour them for their lives brought you here.

It’s a relatively easy Monday with nice dreamy, spiritual, creative, romantic, aspects from Neptune late in the day PDT/next morning EDT.
Do incubate a dream or two. I have had very in-depth dreaming the last few weeks.

Tuesday’s big news is JUPITER entering Virgo until September 2016. A whole new earthy, practical, accountable energy. Yes Virgo it is your year ahead.
