Jimi Hendrix also called my home! I had forgotten about this until recently. He had asked me and my girlfriend for our phone numbers. He called looking for my friend Linda. My mom gave me the message.

I met Jim Morrison twice- backstage in Toronto.

I spent the afternoon watching Bobby Kennedy’s funeral on Tv at the Royal York Hotel with Eric Clapton and discussing art, politics etc.

I met the Who at a party in Toronto, the Moody Blues, the list goes on and on.

I was backstage at every major rock concert in Toronto. 

Robert Plant ripped my black lace see-through shirt off backstage at the Rock Pile -the old Masonic Temple  at 888 Yonge street in 1969 at their first Toronto appearance.I was shocked. 

I Met Frank Zappa at the Rock Pile. Saw Neil Young play there every Friday night with his band Crazy Horse there. 

I saw The Kinks, Julie Driscoll, Dr. John, The Band when they backed up Ronnie Hawkins all play on small bars on Yonge Street.

I saw the Beatles play four times but never met them.

I met the boys in U2 in Phoenix when they filmed their Rattle and Hum film. But not BONO.

Mick Jagger, grief, condolences and compassion.

I was reading through Mick Jagger’s Face Book page for the first time yesterday where he had posted a photo of his beloved L’Wren Scott on March 18, the day after he was told about her suicide. He posted…

“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.
We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves.
She had great presence and her talent was much admired…, not least by me.
I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received.
I will never forget her,

I certainly felt for his loss. A suicide is always a terrible shock. The interesting part was reading through some of the twenty eight thousand plus condolences and comments on Mick’s statement by many who shared their own tragic experiences of loss, suffering, grief, compassion and understanding because they too had been touched by the suicides of lovers, friends, family or children.

Out of L’Wren’s tragic suicide some good can come out of this which binds and unifies people’s hearts together through their understanding and compassion born from sharing their experiences of  mutual suffering. We know that no one is intrinsically different than anyone else. No one, not a King or Queen no matter how rich, beautiful and famous is immune from being human and all the good, bad, beauty and uglies, highs and lows of experience of which  life on earth is about. Sir Mick is mourning his loss as are the families of those on Flight MH370 and thousands and millions of other human beings in the world. It feels like a time of great grieving.

The Moon is also in Scorpio since the 19th which tunes us  more easily into feeling our losses, mourning, death and depression.  It’s good to go with that heavy flow.

The bottom line is we all share the same human characteristics and fears. No one is immune to this. To love, to lose, to suffer, to joy, to risk, to win, to experience, to be lonely, to not know, to be in the dark, to feel guilty, regret, betrayed, abandoned.  A famous person’s suicide is the same as any other person’s. No amount of money can bring them back from death. Nothing can replace those we’ve loved and lost. To live is to die.  To give love and to receive it. If Mick could trade his multi-millions for his beloved’s life, I am sure he would do it. Life is precious and beautiful and sometimes tragic.

We can only live fully in the present, appreciating each moment of eternity to the fullest and be gratefull for each breath of life. To love is all we can do. As the old saying goes, To love and to have lost is better than never to have loved at all.

I’d never looked at Mick Jagger’s Astrology chart before so just wondering why he was being struck with tragedy now. I know he is also going to be a Great grandpa as well as have his fifth grandchild soon.

L’Wren Scott life and death Astrology by Tara Greene

Always sad to hear of a young person committing suicide.  L’Wren Scott, former model and fashion designer,  who I must confess to not knowing much about, the 13 year partner/girlfriend of Mick Jagger has apparently committed suicide by hanging and was found on the morning of March 17 in her Manhattan apartment dead. There was no suicide note.

Mick Jagger in Australia to launch a new Stones tour was totally in shock and devastated by the tragic news . His Press statement  said that L’Wren his best friend and lover and he couldn’t understand how she could have chosen such a tragic end to her life.

Miss Scott’s fashion business was 6- 7 million dollars in debt. She  had missed Paris fashion week recently because she couldn’t afford to go. Mick Jagger whose wealth is in the hundreds of millions had financially helped her out in the past.

Adopted by a  Mormon couple L’Wren grew up in small town in Utah. Six foot three with 42 inch long legs she was spotted by  photographer Bruce Weber and appeared in  a photo shoot for Calvin Klein at 17. She scraped up babysitting money and bought a one way ticket to Paris knowing that fashion was her true love. She did runway work and designed costumes for films. She was a well respected designer of her own line which was the favourite of Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker and others. Her death came as a tragic shock for many famous friends.

A TRIPLE TAURUS with Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde and lucky optimistic trusting JUPITER, she was triply stubborn.
