It’s a Ram On Deja Vu this Easter Weekend 2021 as Mercury the Fleet footed messenger God just entered ARIES April 3rd for a brand new quick thinking begin again.

The questions are: Why do I fool myself about how I feel? Why cant I decide on one thing? What do I really value?

from Ashbridges Bay on Lake Ontario Toronto, my husband artist Napoleon Brousseau captured the Venus/Sun transit with a Canon Rebel camera, a 250 telephoto lens and welder’s glass in front of the lens Tuesday June 5 2012.

I co-led a ceremony by the lake to celebrate the Venus transit. I called in the directions, we had a fire,  sang Goddess chants, drummed, danced, ate apple pie- Venus’s fruit. There was a wide age group from 14- 78,  felt nice to run the gamut. It felt very intimate,wiccan, very celebratory. We made wishes. It did get cloudy but that improved the cameras’ ability to see Venus. It was awesome with the condo-full CN tower dominated Toronto skyline in the background, we felt in nature surrounded by the Lakel. We only glimpsed part of the transit but the energy felt exquisite.

Then the Capricorn MOON rose, that looked more magnificent than the May 5 Super Moon!  Moon was huge, one day past Full, occulting PLUTO, a rare phenomena these days as well. The Moon was brilliant red illuminating a large swathe upon the lake. There was a young couple in their 20’s with us who were romantically entwined standing on the rocks by the lake with the red moon behind them. My husband Napoleon snapped magnificent pics. of them, which  felt so right so romantically Venusian.

After all Venus and the Sun had just made love with the whole world watching! The feeling is Love infectious, A good virus!

It was magical. Then later, the huge moon was hidden by low clouds leaving an amazing round spotlight on the lake the likes of which I had never seen. Awesome.  How was your Venus/Sun transit?

The ancient Fish-centaurs, Aphrodites’ healing helpers are also being reborn into Consciousness with the Venus/Sun transit.

All things from the sea, are primordial, are the unconscious. All mythologies are Archetypal stories told in different forms in various cultures world wide. Venus {Love} comes from  the Unconscious, she is born of the Sea.

The Pisces Centaurs are equivalent to and have the same energy as Chiron in Pisces, meaning that healing comes from the depths of your emotions, from your unconscious memories, from birth and pre-birth, past life karma. The Asclepius, the Ancient healing temples which Chiron is associated with used dreams as a form of healing, way before Sigmund Freud.

April 23 is World Book Day, chosen by UNESCO to coincide with Shakespeare’s birth and death and Cervantes‘ death. 

World Book Night is an annual celebration which intends to spread the love of books and reading. Successfully launched in the UK in 2011 in April.

In the U.S. alone twenty-five thousand volunteers will spread the word literally,by giving away  half a million World Book Night paperbacks.

It’s Halloween for bookies,giving that old-fashioned name for illicit bet takers a new spin.

I just found out about this through synchronicity and as I love to read, this is a great idea, despite kindle and all that people are buying and reading more books than ever. But there’s nothing like a physical book to read, ah the smell of the paper .

MERCURY GOES DIRECT finally

Mercury goes DIRECT at  23 degrees of Pisces , it turned Retro at 6 degrees 49 mins of Aries so will actually take until April 23 to get back up to speed fully. Its been a trying time, use this slowly we turn step by step, direct motion to really think out where you are going as Mercury will re-enter Aries March 16. Mercury is still in the DREAM TIME in PISCES.

Moon is in Virgo since April 3 and Venus entered Gemini yesterday to stay for four months.

My first visit to Chicken Itza Pyramid in Mexico. It was December 21, 1977. OMG that’s 35 years ago now. My first cousin Carol Karasik had moved to Chiapas to San Cristobal de Los Casa, the year before with her husband, I came to visit them for Christmas. I happened to be at Chichen Itza on the Winter Solstice as I had met two very nice, young, well off  Mexican men who showed me around. In those days you could drive right up to the ruins. A beat up old American  car showed up just long enough for me to shoot this photo and drove off. I used this picture as the poster for an art show I did in 1978 called NEOTERIC and ARCHAIC RUINS which showed in Toronto.

This photo has always symbolized for me that the ancient Mayan culture was very strong, and that modern American culture was decrepit and falling apart. Hey how did I know that on that fateful day 35 years before THE BIG ONE!
