Boxing day, Jupiter opposite Uranus, Mars on South Node

The Moon is in shooting straight from the hip, wild, freedom-loving Sagittarius. This is Big Bronco busting Boxing Day energy.

 JUPITER in LIBRA exactly opposes URANUS in ARIES @ 10:35 am PST/1:35 pm EST/ 6:35 pm GMT. This is the first of three exact squares which continue in 2017. JUPITER is the ruler of both SAGITTARIUS and PISCES and these two Zodiac signs feature prominently today.

This is wild opposing energies at the 20+ degrees which features these days. Pluto makes it a Cardinal Cross from 16 degrees CAPRICORN.

Freedom, fairness, justice, outspoken honesty, revolution, dropping out and running away to unknown adventures beckons with these two planetary influences.

MARS brings in further tension as he makes a 135-degree, sesquiquadrate aspect with Jupiter in LIBRA and a 45 degree semi-square to Uranus in ARIES just before the exact square. These are irritating aspects like flies annoying a horse.

Mars conjunct the South Node at 5+ degrees ♓ PISCES.

This indicates a completion of karmic cycles. Especially those begun 19 years ago and nine and a half years ago.  Do those cycles ring any bells? This energy can work two ways. Mars can enhance and empower the negative side of Pisces through denial, avoidance, self-medicating, spacing out and passive-aggressive behaviors. Martial energy can also boost our drive and desires to release these old karmic patterns which have kept us stuck in those repeating co-dependent, victim or martyr patterns.

 Mars lets down his guard in Pisces allowing him to work for the greater good of all, as individual egos are put aside. At its highest, most spiritual side, Mars in Pisces dissolves all hardness and resistance. Our energy unites with the source. Mars in Pisces is the Grail Knight who serves to defend and protect the Divine Feminine.the Holy Grail.

By synchronicity I just watched Mad Max Fury Road which is all about the Warrior who protects and defends and frees the Divine Feminine.

Have you seen this movie? My son Elijah brought it. It’s super adrenaline, hard rock, macho energy but it is all about saving the Feminine. A modern Knights tale. As Joseph Campbell famously wrote that the modern hero archetype morphs and changes but is eternally alive. 

Use this time wisely. A new year is dawning, The Cardinal opposition of Jupiter and Uranus repeat in 2017 on March 2 @ 22+ degrees and September 28 of 2017 @ 27+ degrees Aries/Libra.

Questions to ask:

Where do I need to stop conforming to societies dictates and appearances? Where do I need to liberate myself in my relationships? What new adventures do I need to seek? What do I need to let go of first so that I can live more authentically and feel freer?

This is powerful energy. If you have planets around 5 degrees PISCES/VIRGO or GEMINI and SAGITTARIUS the NODAL energy of choice is more powerful for you. The North NOde is at 5 degrees VIRGO.  My North Node is 4.59 degrees PISCES. For me Mars is exactly on my natal North Node with the South Node reversal in transit. I need to let go to move forwards.

More importantly for long-term issues is MARS conjunct to the South Node in Aries
