Moon Jupiter in LEO is emotional strength, will power. Leo is also pride, anger, courage and Jupiter expands everything he touches. This produces inflamed passion of both types, it can be positive heart opening and furiously enraged in tooth and claw, berzerker energy.

Mars also quincunx to Jupiter Feb 4 indicates irritated energies, frustration and scapegoating.

We are Retrograding over old feuds with Jupiter still Retrograde. For Muslim terrorists this is an 800 year old revenge.  The savage burning alive of  captured Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kaseasbeh shows the depths of barbarism being dragged out onto the worlds stage. The key is how do we respond to such barbarism?  An eye for an eye when we are dealing with extreme terrorists is all they will understand. We cannot appear weak against this kind of terrorism.

On a personal level, these questions are pertinent as Jupiter will remain in Leo until August 11.

These are the two biggest objects in the solar system. The SUN the source. Jupiter- the God King, LEO is ruled by the SUN.

STRENGTH/LUST in the Thoth Tarot 

I meditate before I pick each card.  Tarot Trump # 11 is called LUST in the Thoth Tarot and STRENGTH/LEO in most other decks.

This is LEO the LION STRENGTH, PASSION,   pride, courage, daring, drive, leadership, power,

the taming the beast within which is what the card shows. The naked woman is holding the Holy Grail.

Also called FORTITUDE- in older medieval decks- the focus and moral courage to fight for the good, the righteous.

LEO is heart chakra energy, it’s being strong and courageous enough to open your heart, to wear it on your sleeve,

to fight and defend what is in your heart and those who are most dear and treasured by you.

Leo’s protect their families and anyone they truly care about.

Think about the kind of strength, passion and will it would take to force open a lion’s jaws. This is the usual symbol on the card.

In many Tarot decks the number 8 – Justice and 11 are interchangeable. It is complicated, but suffice it to say that  various Tarot authors and adepts saw different pathways and used different modes to get to the same place. In Numerology 8 is a karmic number when turned on its side it is INFINITY. The lemniscate or INFINITY SIGN is always shown floating over the woman’s head traditionally.

I just realised it is June 11th. So it’s an 11:11 kind of thing. A wake up call.

Number 11 is a MASTER NUMBER, the number of memory, the twin gates or pillars of the ancient temple. 11 is the resonant point between # 20 Judgement/Rebirth and # 2 the HIGH PRIESTESS.  11 is a very powerful number.
