Women, Kavanaugh and the Burning Path

October’s highlight is Venus Retrograde, of course, October 5-November 16 throwing old relationships, values, women’s issues and the economy into a tailspin.

October 5: Venus stations retrograde: 10 degrees 50 minutes Scorpio

Venus turns Retrograde squaring Mars and Lilith and the South Node in Aquarius 

This means: The revenge of angry women who have been denied their natural power for too long. If you’ve been watching the U.S. Supreme Court nominations you know what this is all about. The November elections are on November 6 when Venus is Retrograde back in Libra at that point.  This Retrograde will have much longer ramifications than just the 40 days. 

Lilith and Mars were exactly conjunct October 1st and will continue to be BFF’s in effect as one until Halloween when Venus moves back into Libra.

VENUS Retrogrades on the Burning Way or Via Combusta October 7-November 7

Striking a balance

August  14, post  solar eclipse the energy felt lighter in the 13th. VENUS =Women and Love is in the darkness. Darkness has always been associated with magic, mystery, the feminine, the unknown, the void, the womb, death, rebirth. The Dark was always considered sacred and safe up until Patriarchal times.  With the ascent of SOLAR GODS like Apollo, who were once the Goddess’s consorts or brothers, the SUN, the Masculine Light of Consciousness, and literacy, dominated the magical, intuitive, feeling nature of the heart and the Feminine.

Love shifts, Venus into Virgo

Gaia has been raped by oil companies, mines, her rivers damned and rerouted, her oceans radiated and plasticized. We have laid waste to our only home. The fantasy of going to Mars doesn’t cut it. Virgo Mama is angry at her children for abusing her. As a mother this makes perfect sense to me. Watch any mother dog with her pups. At some point she gets mad, shakes them and leaves them to fend for themselves. It is not cruel. Nature is  necessity. If Gaia refuses to nurture her ungrateful children then that is our karma.
