We’re in the MERCURY RETROGRADE SHADOW ALREADY since May 23

MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE on  JUNE 7 at 3 +degrees of CANCER and will scoot backwards until JULY 1, CANADA’s BIRTHDAY which  indicates some reviews, repeals, recalls there.  THE MESSENGER turns direct at 24 + degrees of GEMINI . But it’ll take until JULY 16 for Mercury to regain all those degrees before mind matters march forwards once again. But DO NOT PANIC.

MERCURY RETROGRADES I find are very positive for the statistically 33% of the population who are born under their effects. Why?

Because most of the time these folk’s brains simply don’t operate by the same OS as the majority of us who are stuck in the one direction forward only.

Has nothing to do with that boy band ONE DIRECTION.

MERCURY RETRO’s are highly creative, I know my husband is one. They are like the lefties of the world, creative, left brain oriented. Their minds are always taking a walk on the wild side. They groove to a different melody and march to a different drummer.  Kind of like honorary Aquarians.

Don’t be afraid of Mercury Retrograde. It is a mind rest time. REmember everything that stars with Re- is what to do during any Mercury REtrograde. RETRY. Especially going backwards in GEMINI re-reeling in the mind games people play.

The KNIGHT of Swords is a warrior of words. Lofty ideas is one of his realms. Swords can cut and kill and also discriminate, they separate the wheat from the chaff.  With Mercury Retrograde in GEMINI especially we must be careful of ungrounded thinking; it’s all too “up in the air”. Mercury Retrogrades can make us feel as if we are losing our minds. It can be used as a great time for REcapitulation. Carlos Castenada claims this is an ancient TOLTEC or Yaqui Indian method which the nagual Don Juan taught him for erasing your emotional history and clearing oneself of old emotional charges. Sounds like that poor boy Rodgers s desperately in need of recapitulating his own emotional issues. I wish the world worked that way. Don’t you?

Given the recent events, there will be much talk about MENTAL STABILITY,  gun laws and regulations, weapons availability swords and knives are the favourite weapons in China, in the U.S. it is guns.  Women and men are outraged at these women hating sites. How many women need to be purposely stalked as animals? Why is this happening? We need a higher perspective such as this Knight offers.

To find true balance one must be constantly, minutely moving,

in order to balance the scales until they naturally and slowly come to a standstill point.

So adjustments are always necessary.

Think about this, in life nothing  is absolutely still for long unless you are dead.

Atoms molecules are always in constant motion, flux, change.

LIfe requires constant shifting, delicate nuances of adaptation to every situation.

We are always shifting, adjusting, shucking and jiving at this, especially in terms of our relationships with others.

September 11Revisited, Tarot, Astrology from Tara Greene

It’s hard to believe that it’s 12 years since 9/11.

I remember my family were headed to L.A. in August 2001. I cast a Horoscope chart and said something really cataclysmic is going to happen by the next New moon. All Astrologers knew that the Saturn in Gemini,- Saturn is the architect, reality, buildings, in Gemini- the sign of the Twins- it was so obvious in hindsight!  and Pluto in Sagittarius opposition was happening. Pluto is death and destruction, secrets, and in Sagittarius it rules airplanes, foreigners, religious fanatics. Put them together and we see what we got.

I feel and felt very sad for the tragic loss of thousands of innocent people and the lives of all their families who have to live with their losses for the rest of their lives. I send blessings to the all who were affected.

12 years is a complete Jupiter Return so let’s look at where the planets were then and now.

Here’s a large chart. The inner chart in blue is the 2001 9/11 chart and the outer in red is the 9/11 2013 planets.

As you can see JUPITER in 2013 in RED is in Cancer again right at the MC, of the original event. The 10th house is the HIGH NOON position,  JUPITER-brings higher meaning, inspiration, history, philosophy and hypocrisy. According to Native American teachings Jupiter rules SACRED LAW, higher law, and is igniting the same situation now. Jupiter aspect involves, foreigners, religious freedoms, homeland security being upper most in the nation’s eyes which 9/11/01 spawned of course.

9/11 had a mid degrees Libra Ascendant with Mercury right on the Ascendant. Mercury has just entered Libra and is in the 12th house or the unconscious shadow of the event. Peace has not been found. There has been no decisive answers. A nightmare is still locked in the collective psyche.

URANUS planet of Revolution, freedom, the Internet, is directly opposite where Mercury was sitting on the Descendant and is also in the T- square of Jupiter then and now. Pluto with Mercury falling into line shortly are going to create another Grand Cardinal cross starting on Yom Kippur Sept 14 -19th culminating on a Full Moon in Pisces. 9/11 is ready to ignite again in a different place.

Saturn and the North Node in Scorpio- famous for spying, secrets, death, torture, hidden power trippers, ruthlessness, controls, is squaring where Neptune was in Aquarius. All the spying by the government on people, all the Edward Snowden revelations began with Neptune in Aquarius here-  delusion, smoke screens. Mars also opposes Neptune.Karmic time.

The transiting Moon is in Sagittarius conjunct to where Pluto was.The Moon is the people, their moods and it is opposite where Saturn was in Gemini. So a very emotional collective, sense of limitations, destruction, despair, waste, power, hopelessness/hopefulness.

Chiron is in Pisces now  is squaring where Pluto was- 12 degrees of Sagittarius and in range of Saturn at 14 degrees Gemini. The U.S. is still hurting, even more than 9/11. Chiron is the wound, where the situation is the most vulnerable. In Pisces this is about the smoke-screen, the illusion and delusion, the false flags that were around 9/11 which I knew intuitively, when I saw the 2nd Tower go down live on TV.

THE TOWER in the TAROT # 16 is the archetypal symbol of what happened on 9/11/2001

The Tower of Destruction

The destruction of the Tower,Trump #16  is a necessary part of awakening the ego collectively or individually. It must always be this way. I remember thinking that if the world was just initiated into the lessons of THE TOWER, then where was it going, up or down the Tree of Life? In the Tarot you can work its magic backwards from 22- 0 or forwards from 0-22. ascending or Descending.

The Trump preceeeding the Tower is THE DEVIL #15 and the Trump after it, is the STAR # 17.

       Did we blame our shadows on our “enemies” and vice versa?

Did we go to a higher perspective and innovation of The Star and look at the collective, individual freedoms, Higher purpose, cosmic consciousness? Or did we choose to bind ourselves with technology?

 

It’s easy to see Al- Qaeda as the enemy as the Devil, but the U.S. is also a part of its creation. We and them- shadow projections. DUALITY this is how the devil works.

The Star, Aquarius-new technology, breaks down any boundaries between people and sees everyone as the same with the same rights. The rest of the world and we are trying. Lots of individuals are proposing revolution from the Old bondage of Saturn, to whatever Saturn represents- Patriarchy, government, sexuality,  old-time religion based on limits to expressing freedom. We are evolving. The technology of the Internet has allowed for major freedoms. 

It’s a complicated world.

Can we detach? Aquarius from the old ways, the bondage to matter which the Devil represents. The hierarchies, the power trips, the blaming others rather than taking stock of ourselves and our own faults?

I vote for Aquarius and the Aquarian age. Sometimes I wish some outer space higher spiritual authority would land and put these foolish earthlings in their place like The day the earth stood still. so we can get on with it.

To start the week off. I asked what do we need to guide us through the tumult in the world?

THE HANGED MAN TAROT TRUMP # Xll

The Hanged MAn is one of the most powerful cards in the 22 Trumps. It is one of  3 Initiatory cards.

What’s Hanging you up these days? This card shows the metamorphoses of SURRENDER.

The Hanged Man is usually shown hanging from a tree, or in more modern illustrations, he is part of the Tree, which is the Tree of Life Itself.Traditional symbolism shows him with his hands bound behind his back and his left leg is bent at the knee behind his front leg. His hair flows down and touches the earth, and he often is shown with a powerful AURA of golden light around his head.

Yes Most people always want to turn the card upright when they see it. It is the only naturally reversed card there is.

In a Tarot immersion weekend I attended years ago. The participants got to act as the TAROT Trumps. I got to be the Hanged Man. Yes, I was strung up by my ankle hanging upside down on a big branch held off the ground about 6 inches. Yes there were pillows below me in case i slipped, but it was very scary and painful to be hung upside down even as the sacrifice which the Hanged Man symbolizes even for a short time.

The Hanged Man was traditionally scene as a thief, or a scapegoat. But the origin is that of Odin from Nordic mythology. The God is hung suspended on the World Tree. With his usual point of view inverted, Odin’s consciousness is tuned to the instinctual earth and that is how he receives the images of the Runes. It is not punishment but a voluntary letting go and allowing in order to receive. As in the A.A. prayer it is about letting go of the ego’s stranglehold and letting G*d or a Higher Power do the work for you.

When you really let go and surrender then you are well hung.

MEANINGS

Looking at your situation form a different perspective allows you to gain new insights.

If you feel like you are beating your head against the wall, stop. Let go. ALLOW,  whatever it is that needs to happen.

This situation is also like a caterpillar in the chrysalis waiting to be transformed into a butterfly. To the caterpillar it is a death, but the same caterpillar by dying to its former nature becomes transformed into something much more than it was with incredible new gifts, wings to fly.

Resistance is futile. Trust that the Universe knows more. You do not know everything, surrender and keep surrendering. It is a moment to moment practice. No one really knows much about anything.

A Royally karmic Leo New Moon and the Nodal Axis

Each New Moon every month is a new beginning in the Lunar cycle that affects our emotions, the flux and flow of  the oceans, our feelings.

The 3 days of the New Moon, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction are the darkest time of the month. The Moon rests and renews Herself.

In Leo, the Sign ruled by the Sun itself, the 5th sign, Fixed Fire, is our feelings centers, our wills, our hearts, our strength, pride and courage swell and shine brightest. In the Tarot the Symbol of LEO is STRENGTH.

A LEO NEW MOON is where our egos and feelings are in the dark, gestating, hidden, full of new potential waiting to be born. The Lions sleep tonight.

The August 6 New moon at 14+ degrees Leo is actually on the 15th and most powerful degree of any sign, the exact midpoint.

This further strengthens and empowers the heart, and the childlike nature of Leo, the role playing, the strut, the Ego.

LEo is the sign of ROYALTY, Kings and Queen’s- either real ones, and we’ve just had the birth of a new Royal Prince

or pretend ones, petty tyrants  those who strut around like everyone else owes them.

POWER is Leo’s middle Name.

One of the most powerful features of this New Moon is its’ T- Square to the North Node at 12 degrees Scorpio and the South at 12 degrees of Taurus.

THE NORTH and South Nodes are considered to be Karmic points which transit around every 18.6 years in their cycles. The N and S Nodes  create eclipses of the Sun and Moon on average 4 times  each year when the Luminaries align close to them. They have been considered very important points for thousands of years.

The North Node, whether in a Natal chart or in a collective chart such as this one, always symbolizes the  highest spiritual goal, what we are evolving towards. The South Node is always the past,  what we already know and what we need to leave behind. The South Node is the point of least resistance. This hard aspect indicates we are at a cross roads and must choose now to leave the old Taurus resources  behind.

Relationships, marriages, Royalty, ego’s, children, and everything symbolized by LEO, and leaders  of all kinds must leave the old familiar basic down to earth, survival instincts of Taurus and evolve to create a deeper, more encompassing SOUL/psyche Scorpio, 8th house form of shared resources.

The New MOON is conjunct the GODDESS ASTEROID VESTA exactly. Vesta was the GODDESS OF FIRE, the hearth flame, whose name is originally Sanskrit for “Shining”. She was originally worshipped at Delphi,Greece as a heap  of living coal, known as the Omphalos or Navel of the World.  In pre-patriarchal times all women served as Priestesses in her sacred  temples.  The Priestesses healed men  after they had been to war and had shed blood through having Tantric Sex which cleansed and purifed them before they could be integrated back into society.  These women were seen to be holy Hierodules, human forms of the Goddess Divine.  The Vestal “virgins” meant that they were whole and complete unto themselves and belonged to no one man. This became corrupted into what we now think of as Vestal Virgins, celibate women, like nuns, who were dedicated to religion.  Vesta symbolizes dedication to our sacred work. 

SCORPIO, where the North Node is leading us, until the Spring of 2014, is the SIGN OF SOUL, of birth death and transformation, it is sex, power, money, resources, taxes, secrets, finances and it moves from the 2nd house of Taurus which is personal resources to Collective resources, the World soul of the 8th house.

In other words our ego’s, our sexuality and our work must evolve past the literal and fundamental, the mere survival level  to incorporate a SOUL inclusive perspective.

CHIRON at 12 degrees Pisces is Quincunx to the NEW MOON and VESTA.  Pride must fall before real healing compassion and forgiveness can take place. Like and Addict who hides their addiction behind an act or a role, they cannot begin to get real until the actor admits to their crutch. Sexuality that is divorced from the soul, such as addiction to pornography or defiling the sacredness of sex needs to be healed.  so that our bodies and especially women’s bodies are considered the most sacred. where the body is considered SACRED body  .

Venus at 18 degrees VIRGO also opposes Chiron to indicate that  our bodies and especially women’s bodies are considered to be the most sacred.  Venus in Virgo serves and cares about her work, the work force, health, food and the environment that needs to be healed. Ongoing protests against MONSANTO need to be kept up vigilantly until they are outlawed in the U.S. and Canada as in Europe, Peru, Bolivia and other countries.

So I would start on August 3 to mediate with Jupiter to manifest your soul’s wealth.

MEDITATION

If you’ve read my blog before you know how to set up a sacred place to do a ritual.

You will need 4 candles, they can be green, yellow  or purple for Jupiter for the 4 directions.  Smudge or incense.

I would suggest working with Jupiter’s stone which is a YELLOW SAPHIRE or a CITRINE a similar crystal used for wealth attraction.

You can meditate on this image of one, or use citrine which is similar.

Starting at the first Moon/Jupiter conjunction on the 3rd do this each day every day for 5 days

You will create a sacred space and smudge yourself first. Then light the 4 candles in turn from the EAST

which is the element of FIRE, always moving clockwise to the SOUTH with water, to the WEST with EARTH to the NORTH with AIR.

 aAll on each direction element and each Archangel-Michael in the EAST, Gabriel in the SOuTH  Ariel in the West, RAphael in the North.

This is the ARCHANGEL ANCIENT star alignments, very old.

Then sit in the center ,meditate on the yellow sapphire or citrine if you have one. BREATHE SLOWLY AND DEEPLY.

As this MEDITATION RITUAL spans 5 days. The first day Aug 3 you will work with the element of FIRE.

Fire is spirit, inspiration, action, the LIGHT, Gold, the source.

CAll Jupiter the GOD Of prosperity and good luck to bring you golden opportunities,wealth and health.

Also you must give away something in order to gain wealth.

As Jupiter is in Cancer and protecting the innocent ,the women and children, the homeless,food  and water

You must vow to donate time and/or money to help a homeless shelter, food kitchen or similar charity which helps children and water.

When you do the ritual think of all the good you will do for others with the wealth that you have.

It’s about giving away. MAking others happy, improving other people’s lives.

After you sit and meditate on this, see it being done. 

When you really truly feel it. You say out loud, SO mOTE IT BE!

Do this every day as it will climax on August 7th.

On the 4th you will do the same but work with the element of WATER- you would bring in 4 dishes or cups of water into your ritual.

On the 5th you will call in and work with the element of earth. You will bring in 4 copper pennies or 4 pots of earth.

On the 6th you will call in the element of Air. You can use  the 4 candles as usual.

On the 7th you will work with your Higher Self, you are the element in the center.

I will post a reminder for  you to do this and add additional tidbits.

You can add your own, personal signifiers. If wealth is symbolized by photos of beautiful places, flowers, Nature or loved ones then bring these images into your sacred circle with you.
