Attaining enlightenment, Mars at last degree of the Zodiac

The warrior has reached the end of his journey. His weapons fallen, his armor broken, useless to protect him anymore. His trophies and medals tarnished and inconsequential. All of his worldly belongings destroyed and worth nothing. All of his former loved ones abandoned him. His children and grandchildren want nothing to do with him, they have all renounced him. All his great, grand ideas of conquering, of controlling, oh having, of living, of dominating, of plundering, of avoiding death, old age and taxes, of being the King are seen for what they are. Illusions and delusions. The warrior realizes he is alone and frightened. He realizes that everything which he fought so hard for is absolutely meaningless and wrong. 

The warrior realizes he is alone, weak and he is frightened.  He realizes that he is a failure, not a hero at all. He has failed to love others, he has failed to do good. He has failed to be compassionate or kind. He has only thought of himself. Now his ego is finally destroyed, this life review makes him realize, at this last breath in his feeble male body that he has totally wasted his precious time on earth. He realizes he has created mountains of harm and bad karma. He has debts which will take millennium’s to repay and to rebalance. The warrior weeps on his death bed alone. He weeps for his wife and children, for his parents, brothers and sister, his friends and neighbors, colleagues and for every person he ever met. He weeps for himself, now seen as pathetic, weak, scared, a little boy who never really grew up to be a human being, a real man. He has been disconnected from his true self, and his heart, his entire life. It’s at this very moment, that a miracle can occur.

 MARS is at the 29th critical degree of PISCES  Jan 26-27

While Mars has been in the great ocean of PISCES we’ve been treading water unconsciously. The exhaustion, grief and repressed anger so many of us have been feeling has a great deal to do with this. It will be a relief to be freed from this 12th house Prison, soon.

This is also the critical degree of attaining Buddahood or enlightenment.

The last degree of the Zodiac is a very very spiritual degree. It is said that the aim for all souls is to reach the last degree of the Zodiac through experiencing many, many lifetimes and to earn dharma and be released.  Try to connect with this energy today. Mars is the driving force, this is a very powerful symbol. 

Think of Buddha who has been sitting under the Bodhi tree for so long,

immovable, fighting off all the demons, the seductresses, the illusions, and delusions The Buddha sees and experiences all of his past lives, he witnesses everything that has happened in all time and space, until he sees through the illusion of it all. His mind is free of his ego, it expands, he is free from all emotional cravings, and aversions, and sees that everything is always changing, is in relationship and as he reached enlightenment or clear mind, he touches the earth and states that he has attained enlightenment and the earth is his witness. He looks up and see Venus as the Morning Star and heart is filled with love. He then is compelled through compassion to help assist others to attain enlightenment too.

Become one with this energy. It exists in all time, for all eternity. Breathe it in. Become the buddha. 

Use Mars at this last degree, in these very trying times to be a BODHISATTVA

A bodhisattva is a male or female human being who has already attained enlightenment but as they are consciously leaving the earthly existence behind, this incarnation on the meat wheel of Saturn/time they look back at the earth. Out of compassion for all the suffering and ignorant beings, they give up their own liberation and come back to teach enlightenment to help all beings reach enlightenment.

Here is the famous Bodhisattva vow:

“Just as all the previous Sugatas, the Buddhas
Generated the mind of enlightenment
And accomplished all the stages
Of the Bodhisattva training,
So will I too, for the sake of all beings,
Generate the mind of enlightenment
And accomplish all the stages
Of the Bodhisattva training.”

In Mahayana Buddhism, the bodhisattva vows to work for the relief and liberation {nirvana}of all sentient- beings as long as samsara or cyclical rebirth exists.

With Venus so nearby to Mars allow her compassion and unconditional love to help the warrior King transform himself from a tyrant into a Knight who serves to respect as an equal and to support and honor the Divine Feminine. His actual role.

Mars in Pisces is also like the famous story of the Fisher King. It is part of the Tales of King Arthur and the Holy Grail. The wounded king has a serious sexual wound, his kingdom which he symbolizes is a total wasteland. The King can only be healed and the wasteland restored to life again after the innocent Parsival, screws up a few times, and then finally utters the magic words to the King. ” What ails thee?”  This is the voice of Venus in Pisces speaking. If we have compassion for the wounded masculine, he can be healed.

Happy Quan yin day, blessings of compassion

Prelude. The post- Total Lunar eclipse energy had me feeling  down, with so much dark energy coming up. Yet I was also feeling my angel and spirit guides presence too. I felt like I was living with both feelings at the same time in parallel universes. A friend of mine,who does very high level spiritual work called me yesterday saying she was feeling overwhelmed and down and crying. I said I was feeling it too. I told her that it is very Libran to feel that polarity, the whole point is to feel it all and to hold the tension of the opposites. That is what Carl Jung said the great work is.  We need to make both feelings transparent not try to pretend it is all light.

The Moon is also in Scorpio which also brings up deep deep emotions. So it feels totally synchronous that…

 April 7 Billions of people are celebrating the birthday of  the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion Quan Yin/ Kwan Yin today. She is the Divine Mother Goddess and the most worshipped Goddess in the world who we need to call upon to end suffering . She is a Goddess of Love and Light. 

All Buddhists,  love and pray to Quan Yin. Chinese Taoists consider her an Immortal. Her name means “observing the Sounds of the world.” She is worshipped through Eastern Asia under different names. 

She is known as a Bodhisattva.  This is a Buddha, an enlightened being who has given up their own liberation from the wheel of karma and who volunteers to come back into the world to help alleviate the suffering of all sentient beings until everyone is liberated. It’s a very serious vow to make.  As White Tara in Tibetan Buddhism, she was the first Buddha to take a Female form. 

She is also shown as a male aspect inTibet.”Avalokiteshvara” which means “the lord who looks upon the world with compassion”.

In China she is shown as a beautiful woman in white, often shown riding a dragon, or a dolphin.  She holds a willow branch, which was used to heal people’s illness and to bring fulfillment of their wishes. This can indicate dowsing with willow and a magic wand? Witches used willow.  She also holds a vase with water and a lotus flower.  Water is the dew of compassion and it has the qualities of purification. She is also revered by vegetarians. 

Sometimes shown with eleven heads and thousands of eyes on the palms of each hand, a symbol of seeing all the suffering of sentient beings and having thousands of arms to help them.

There is a sacred place to worship Kuan Yin, Putuo Mountain in China. It is an island near Ningpo in Zhejiang Province. She has made miraculous appearances in this place. 

I have prayed to in her  in her aspect as White Tara and she has come to me in meditations and is a spirit guide for me. She is like Mother Mary, White Bufallo Woman to Native Americans or even as the same emanation as Jesus. She would be considered like the Shekinah in Judaism. 

Anyone can pray to Kwan Yin, She forgives and comforts us as a Mother. She teaches us to forgive ourselves, and to love ourselves. She is said to appear to anyone who calls upon her. 

I didn’t realize that April 7 was considered Kwan Yin’s birthday. My mother,  may she rest in peace was born on this day. I am crying because I really gave her a hard time when I was a kid. When she died it was on a Holy Day and we were told that only very auspicious spiritual people die or are born on these days,and I didn’t know that either until it happened.

If you have guilt around your mother, for not respecting or dishonoring her, or the Feminine in any way shape or form, use this day to shed tears of purification for yourself and to ask for forgiveness through Kwan Yin and to have compassion with yourself.

Her mantra is OHM MANI PADME HUM – which means, Hail to the jewel in the lotus.

Usually a pure crystal mala or prayer beads are used to repeat the Buddhist mantra 108 times to Kwan Yin. You can use a clear quartz crystal and send your prayers into the crystal, Meditate on Kwan Yin. 

Anyone can be like a Bodhistavva, like Kwan Yin. The best thing to do today is to “Be the Goddess you want to see in the world.” Tm. With your kindness and compassion you can bring peace and tranquility into the world.  Listen to Lisa Thiel’s beautiful song about Kwan Yin, which I have listened to  for almost 30 years now.

Scorpio Solar Eclipse Descent of Love Astrology

The Second Solar Eclipse of the year on October 23 is at Zero degrees of Scorpio @ 2:56 pm PDT/ 5:56 pm EDT/9:56 pm GMT is a partial one. 

Nevertheless it will be INTENSE, OBSESSIVE, LOVE vs. POWER, SEX, CONTROL ISSUES DYING

It’s very special, as the Planet/Goddess Venus is conjunct to the Sun and the Moon, THE GODDESS Venus is our Cosmic guide, way shower initiatrix and hostess as the world descends with Her into the Underworld for the death of the ego to be rebirthed as a purified Love sourced identity as Quan YIN, Avalokitishvara The Goddess or the Feminine form of compassion.

I’m calling this Eclipse a QUANTUM YIN transformation

The DIVINE FEMININE exists in all beings hearts whether in form as a man or a woman. 

Venus was embodied as the original Sumerian Goddess Innana who was worshipped over 5,000 years ago in Babylon where present day Baghdad is and the ancient city of  Uruk. Inanna’s archetypal mythic descent into the Underworld is the story of Venus’ 5 fold cycle from an Evening star to a Dawn Star. Inanna supposedly went to the land of the dead to mourn for her sister Erechkigal’s husband Nergal who was the God of Plagues. I thought this was an  interesting detail in relation to the current EBOLA virus scares.

Inanna goes through 7 stages or levels of initiation.  As she descends she needs to drop another item of power, until she is naked, stripped of her ego. Inanna is sentenced to  die by the spirits of the underworld. She is turned in to a rotting corpse and hung on a nail. But she had sent helpers to come to her aid beforehand. Her life is bargained for and Inanna is the only being who rises from the dead reborn. She sends her consort Damuzzi as her replacement to the Underworld, as he has abused the power which she gave him.

We are all being initiated like INANNA into the Underworld now. No matter how black, dark, fearsome, plague filled, it seems. We must be regal, queenly, Goddess-like and hold our heads high. Inanna/Venus is a clever warrior Goddess. with escape methods in place. We too must have escape plans, friends, supporters and Plan B ready to go.

You must be ready to leave all of your ego attachments to your stuff behind. Your title, trophies, cars, credit cards, education, salary, addictions, all your material things and your stories which  identity you behind to truly die and be reborn. Solar Eclipses always carried fated deaths of famous leaders historically.
