Total Libra Lunar Eclipse, its affects

I wanted to focus on the Astrology of this Eclipse and how it affects you and the world.

The Total Lunar eclipse at the 15th degree of LIBRA reactivates and counterbalances the 7th Crown chakra opening of  Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn cardinal square on the EMOTIONAL, UNCONSCIOUS and MENTAL levels. 

Guess which country is being exactly impacted by the eclipse with their Natal Saturn at 14 degrees Libra?  Yes, if you guessed the U.S. of A. you get the cigar. Plus the U.S. natal SUN at 13 degrees Cancer creates a Grand Cardinal Cross out of this for America. Waking up in the U.S.A.?

The areas where the eclipse is fully visible are affected the most.

Libra is all about the “other”; the other person, country, them, their stuff. There is reams to write just about that psychologically. LIBRA Lunar eclipse is to help us all get some much-needed balance- hopefully. Libra is always pulled in two opposite directions and the point is to find the fulcrum, the middle way that the Buddhists so fondly speak of.

LIBRA is EQUAL RIGHTS, marriage, the alchemical Inner marriage.We need to have equal rights for women on every level, and its coming, its evolving. The Uranus Pluto conjunction in the 60’s was the beginning of the Feminist movement,now it is taking real shape.

All relationships are coming into a KARMIC balance especially in a number 8 year. You will need to make choices, something Libra energy finds difficult as it wants to appear NICE. It wants to have its cake and eat it to. Something has to be sacrificed, you can’t do both at once. One side will have to take less in order to balance things out. I have four planets in Libra I know this issue.

Women

For women I think this Eclipse hits a very deep part of every woman’s life. Women been bought off  to believe that competing in the corporate world like a man is far superior than to being a woman or a mother. Women have been forced to give up listening to their intuition and expressing their femininity in their careers. They are forced to give up their mothering time which is an atrocious loss on so many levels and so unenlightened. European societies recognize the importance of stay at home mom’s and dad’s who get full pay for staying with their children for a year. Women will have to make their needs met and to bring work vs family into balance. 

THE SUN is conjunct asteroid PSYCHE and URANUS  pointing out the need to listen to our own inner authority, our souls/psyche and let ourselves shine with authenticity, out own bright light, our Uranian need to be free, to be true individuals who can protest the current fascist order en masse.

We also have to remember Uranus is Technology and we can’t allow it to completely isolate and overwhelm us in virtual land. Real relationships, LIBRA Moon is where we need to bring our lives into balance. Fixed star Algorab is conjunct the Moon and it is a nasty star. We may find ourselves in a difficult hopeless place if we neglect our relationship balance.

PLUTO is bringing fascist government policies into our lives at incredible rates. Internet surveillance, human rights issues- Libran ones are being highlighted now. The Aries/Uranus sun also symbolizes those Muslim extremist fighters, trying to take over in many parts of the world. We need a balance quickly.

LIBRA Lunar Eclipse is ruled by VENUS at the 21st degree of TAURUS where she is firmly, sensuously embodied in her full beauty and seductiveness. But she is 5 degrees away from ALGOL the most feared star-Medusa’s head. Medusa was originally an Amazon warriores much feared by the Patriarchy. They originated in LIBYA, which is a country also in the news these days. The Muslim extremists seem to be embodying Algol . Saturn will backtrack close to opposition to this star in mid summer. It will get more intense.

I feel this is also a foretelling of an economic slump or crash when Saturn backs up into Scorpio from mid-June until mid- September. 

SATURN is Retrograde in  a nice hot GRAND FIRE TRINE with Jupiter still Retrograde but not for long and the SUN. All of the “meat” is being cooked but we won’t be able to eat any of it till later.

MARS, the Sun’s ruler and Uranus is sleepily dozing in Taurus on Venus’ turf. Well this promises some peaceful negotiations, and a less aggressive attitude. 

MERCURY is also in Aries so speed dialing, and lots of new ideas are being generated. 

NEPTUNE is squaring SATURN and this will continue until Saturn backtracks into Scorpio,which becomes exact in November 2015.

WTF is real and what isn’t is a huge issue.

People are really waking up to all the lies, how they have been drugged by the food they eat, media, the culture, the lies of the governments, the health, medical and banking systems. This is good. Keep pinching yourself and keep asking what is really real and what isn’t. Spiritual energies will be considered as more or equally real to the material world but it may be confusing and quite a trial until we achieve a balance with that.

CHIRON in Pisces and PLUTO are in a YOD to JUPITER in LEO. The FINGER OF GOD, points to our need to stay in our hearts, LEO, our will power, our own leadership. to be courageous, fearless, protecting our children and our inner child. Playing more. This is a big drama.

Winter Solstice and 2015 preview

Solstice. The word means Sol=Sun, stands still. The Sun appears to rise and set at the same location on the horizon for three days. It really should be spelled SOULSTICE. It is an ancient wiccan/ pagan/Germanic tradition called YULE. Al indigenous peoples celebrated in the participation of the turning of the wheel of time. It is the REBIRTH of the LIGHT, in the northern hemisphere. The Christian religion couldn’t eradicate the ancient practice, so they made this into the day of Jesus’s birth -Christmas. This time also marks the ancient Roman festival of Saturnalia.

The two major solstices of the year are extremely powerful times to download new DNA encodings and contemplate new beginnings for the next 6 months. This is the real New Year to celebrate. 

The second 2014 solstice IS LIKE- YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHIN’ YET

As with all Void Moons, it is a very spiritual time, a good time to do mundane things.

The NEW MOON occurs ten minutes later at 5:35 pm PST/8:35 pm EST/ December 22 at 1:35 am GMT at Zero degrees 6 minutes..

The 2nd of three SOUTH NODAL eclipses in a row. 

 spells I-N-T-E-N-S-E!   This is NO BULL.

Solar Eclipses are Super CHARGED NEW MOONS

This annular Solar Eclipse occurs at 19+ degrees TAURUS and will display the beautiful RING OF FIRE, much sought after by eclipse seekers.

 

It will ONLY be visible from western  AUSTRALIA  across most of the Northern Part and passing very close to New Guinea and out over the Pacific Ocean.

No we wont’ see it here in North America or Europe or most of the world. All solar eclipse effects last about a year afterwards.

Australia was also in the shadow pathway of the November 2012 Total Solar Eclipse in Scorpio. The area where the eclipse shadow passes is highlighted.

Where the planetary lines criss cross is where the effects of these planets will be felt the most. Ottawa Canada is one of the prime ares in the world. Moon Sun and Neptune cross here indicating the people and the government will  be at cross purposes especially over false illusions, debt, oil. I believe the PM Harper will be outed.

Cambodia is a highlighted prosperous area for mining and expansion as well as Myanmar. Vietnam are also highlighted for old wounds that need to be healed.

NUMEROLOGY is one of my passions. I see symbolic number sequences as coded messages from the cosmos. Thousands of people have reported seeing 11:11 and other multiples of the same number regularly since digital clocks made this aparent. Everything is symbolic, life speaks to us as images, that is the Soul’s language. Dreams speak in images, and all of life is a dream from the soul’ s perspective. Have I lost a few of you already?

This Sat March 3 is the next in another higher frequency integration. I feel that this next one will happen on 3 12 12 which feels more integrated, the 3rd is an appetiser. More on that later.

Moon mooves into Cancer sign of the milk of human kindness. Moon makes lovely TRINES, nice harmonious aspects to dreamy fantasy riddled spiritual soul mate-ville planet of creativity and escapism NEPTUNE. Neptune rules oil and with Moon also Trine Chiron the wounded healer in Pisces later this day, we’ll be weeping into our gas tanks, pocketbooks and at home in our stomachs from higher food prices. Moon also squares Mercury in Aries and Uranus this day. So feelings, thinking and unconscious reactions of irritability will be in the air.Conflicted feelings thinking about that revolutionary change or home sweet home.

3/3/12 is an important day Numerology wise but it is also MARS OPPOSITE THE SUN

Mars Retrograde is very big in the sky. The warrior God opposite the sun brings conflict out into the open arena and fans the Fires of War.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going to Ottawa,  Canada‘s capital on March 2 and 3rd before going to meet President Obama in Washington. Canada’s Prime Minster Stephen Harper has pitched Canada’s support for Israel, so this is clearly a push for Canada to help Israel protect itself from the continued strengthening of Iran’s nuclear program. Harper is  a very conservative leader, and it seems he has bee, to my mind an obvious patsy of the U.S. {ever since Prime Minster Mulroney} sending thousands of Canadian troops to  fight on the front lines in Afghanistan when Canada was always a peace keeping and not a front line defense since World War II which has resulted in Canada’s reputation as a peacekeeping nation falling off that role in the world’s eyes.  Here’s a link to the article

With Mars Retrograde at 13 degrees of  Virgo opposed to the Sun at 13 degree of Pisces BOTH square the  U.S. Natal Uranus at 8 degrees of Gemini and the U.S. natal Mars at 21 degrees of Gemini. I see this as unusual, unexpected rash words, sucker punches,ego posturing  {the sun}  and calling out, but  still a war of words as it is ambivalent energy as Mars isnt going to act YET. The Pisces Sun is usually very compassionate and Mars in Virgo  is slow to nit pick but will still insist on perfecting and  tallying up all the reasons why it should act hawkish and not dovelike.

Israel has its natal Mercury, how it communicates, at 10 degrees of Gemini so the Mars/ Sun opposition activates its mouthpiece and thinking through Mr. Netanyahu, all talk, smokescreens and shadows at this point. Mars will go direct April 13, then the situation will begin to BURN.

CANADA

has its North Node, its highest spiritual Goal at 17 degrees of Virgo which Mars has just passed, its South Node, symbolizing its past, is at 17 degrees of Pisces near to where the Sun is and will be on March 7th . Canada also has its natal Uranus {individuality, technology, freedom} at 8 degrees of Cancer right opposite where Pluto is right now. This signifies a huge unexpected revolutionary change in how Canada wields its Power. Pluto rules the shadow, where we blame THEM ” the other” for what we ourselves are doing but hiding from, in denial of and won’t accept. Pluto is all things  nuclear, power, weapons, generators. Pluto is death and destruction.

Canada’s Jupiter, its’ bigness, compassion,optimism,risk-taking and expansiveness is at  7 degrees of Pisces. Chiron, the wounded healer {symbol looks like a Key}  is sitting pretty close to that. Will Canada finally feel confident enough, because it’s always felt insecure, to come out of the Pisces backrooms to loom large on the world’s stage?

Canada’s Mars is at 5 degrees of Virgo directly opposite  Chiron so definitely feeling insecure in spite of its great showing economically these days that point makes it defensive in extreme and so just like a bee when threatened it will sting in defense but lose its life in order to do that. Jupiter in Pisces opposite Mars in Virgo with this image reminds me of Muhammed Ali’s famous line that he “Floats like a butterfly but stings like a bee.”

In terms of negotiations, peacekeeping, relationships and talks, Canada has Venus at 15 degrees of Gemini, so they can talk till the cows come home, but won’t take sides. They can be great peacekeepers and ambassadors.  Mars/Sun Xactly squares Canada’s Venus too. So there may be economic pressures and hidden agendas and incentives for Canada to stir the pot.

Interestingly enough Canada’s Venus is exactly at the degree where Venus will eclipse the Sun June 5-6.  The Venus in Gemini X spot indicates that Canada will play a significant and major role in negotiating this situation.

My. Netanyahu will then speak with President Obama about what to do with Iran, Obama definitely has his hands full these days. He is going through his Saturn square Saturn, and his role in history is pivotal. His karma is beying writ large now. I am on his side.

Interestingly enough Mars turned Retrograde at 23 degrees of Virgo in January. Obama’s Natal Mars is at 22 degrees of Virgo exactly conjunct the U.S. birth charts Natal Neptune. Neptune rules oil remember. So we are going over the territory again and its all about fighting for oil.

The Moon on this day at 15 degrees of Cancer is conjunct the U.S. Sun at 13 degrees of Cancer. It symbolizes a New Moon cycle for the U.S. The Moon represents the people’s moods and they need emotional securityand  protection for their homes and native land. But most importantly the  Moon in Cancer is all about WOMEN and their rights to shine and be the source. Women’s issues need to be re-assessed in light of the ultra conservative GOP stuff being shot off in the Republican party presidential election. Women will rise up and oppose this ultra conservative  birth control issue and backlash/whiplash the GOP  in the election.

Pluto at 9 degrees of Capricorn is beginning to oppose the U.S. Sun. The Big Bang is on its way. Pluto, the force {with Saturn} behind 911 as they were in opposition is once again being felt throughout the land. This is the Plutocracy {the ultra-rich and powerful} attempting to defeat the U.S. democracy, its light, what it stands for and the destruction of  big bisuness. Capitalism on the way out. Fascism in danger of taking over out of fear and wanting total control. Pluto and Uranus begin their series of 7 squares this year. Pluto and Uranus when last conjunct in late 60’ss seeded the Flower Power movement, the summer of LOVE, a cultural revolution. Now those seeds will begin to Grow. The revolutionary energy that began in Egypt, Tuniasia, Libya, is ongoing in Syria, snuffed out in Iran is not going away anytime soon. The OCCUPY WALL STREET movement { a Canadian invention from Ad Busters} is also just the tip of the iceburg. A groundswell of revolutionary ch- ch- ch- change is upon us with a force with technology behind it infintely greater than what happened in the 60’s. This time it will be economic,about individuals, fierce, warlike. But such is the nature of the world and its cycles.

Saturn Retrograde and stationary at 29 degrees the always critical degree of Libra. symbolizes the the LAST of MR. NICE GUY. Saturn is the cosmic cop and we have enjoyed him being rather gentle and trying to bring balance into our lives since late 2009 so this is the last of it for the next 28-29 years to be exact. Saturn has inlate 2011 and will again in April and again in September move into an exacty Square the U.S. Natal Capricorn at  27 degrees { Retrograde} when the country was founded. This is a karmic axis if there ever was one. President Obama has his natal Saturn at 25 degrees retrograde when he was born so his fate as well is in the hands of Father Time, the karmic cop. “As you sow so shall you reap.” is Saturn’s slogan. SATURN aka the cosmic cop is RETROGRADE @ 29 degrees, “slowly he turned step by step inch by inch…”

of Libra. The very last and Critical degree in the sign of Relationships, Balance, Karma,the Arts, the judicial system, beauty, the sign of marriage and relationships. All things in relationship to each other, which is in essence ALL THAT IS are being weighed in the Egyptian Great Goddess Maat’s scales of Justice. All relationship issues especially marriage are being revamped, repealed, revealed, re-enacted, renewed, renovated, reinvigorated, resting,reset, reviewed. The cosmic Doctor Saturn is giving us all a big prescription, a time for tonic.  A general Rx time as this is the Retrograde glyph.

Interesting that as Saturn went Retrograde and  The California upholding of  Gay marriages law was reinstated.

Saturn, also known as THE GRIM REAPER will bring endings for many relationships that aren’t in balance on all levels to fold during this time period. Expect things to be harsh, tough, leaden,heavy, weighty, difficult, slow.  So a lot of literally hanging in the balance, waiting with bated breath, waiting for the shoe to drop, so quiet you could hear a pin drop kind of thing.

Then Saturn will revisit that 29th degree from September 27-October 5th when Saturn then enters SCORPIO! And a new era begins.

Think of it like this, the modern metaphor for Saturn Retrograde is just like going through Security at the airport. You have to wait in line for aeons, you have to take off your shoes,surrender your belongings, maybe get searched, patted down, invaded, x-rayed, etc. If you don’t past muster with the powers that be, you may be tasered, and hauled off for interrogation on suspicion of being a terrorist {substitute wall street occupier, political activist, revolutionary.}

But, there are other factors at work now like higher consciousness PLUS the influences of the infamous Uranus, planet of Revolution in early Aries squaring Pluto now one of the major hallmarks of 2012. Remember that Saturn is the Ancient ruler of Aquarius, until that  planet was discovered in 1781 by Hershel, the symbol looks like an H.

Vedic/India Astrologers only use the 7 traditional “planets” so Saturn does rule revolutionary Aquarius to them. So this brings in added meaning. Just breathe. Follow the breath in and out naturally deeply slowly in through your nose into the belly out through your mouth. Say to yourself who is it who is breathing? over and over and over, Saturn brings discipline, routine, realness.

As you do this every day, you will go deeper and deeper into your Self.  Simple be aware of your ingrained old outworn karmic patterns of thought, the behaviors, the patriarchal lead weight of rules that you were indoctrinated with.

If you are in a relationship the criteria to ask is Do you each honor the other? Are you equals? Whats the balance point?

Simply ask your Higher Self, your Guardian Angels to come and oversee you, simply let go of all the excess weight you are carrying. Ideas, beliefs, emotional weight that isn’t yours, your children’s issues, your parents, the weight of history.

Do this every day, write down what you have learned at the end of each session. It’s basically a whole month of the 29th degree. Be your own interrogator, get to the truth, the truth will set you free.
