This very powerful eclipse has been written about by many. This is a New Moon initiation of Galactic Proportions. It also represents the closing of a cycle that began 18 years and 11 days ago on August 11, 1999.  

Leo is governed by the SUN. This New Moon in LEO becomes the black Hole Sun, turning day into night. This will be felt the most intensely on the path of greatest totality, where the the Moon’s shadow falls on the earth; a 70 miles wide swath that bisects America from West to East dividing North and South.  It is being referred to as the Great American Solar Eclipse for that reason.  The last time a total eclipse crossed the U.S. was 99 years ago. Millions of people will be gathering to be in the eclipse path there on the 21^st.

We must look at the synchronicity of this event. America is already divided and polarized and requires a lot of healing. Eclipses were traditionally feared but we know they are powerful initiatory cycles. The Solar Eclipse will help to enlighten not only the U.S. but the entire world.

The Eclipsed SUN is conjunct to FIXED STAR REGULUS, the HEART of the LION and one of the 4 ancient Royal Stars. This star marks the place of  ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL, who heals the heart. Raphael extends a beautiful emerald green ray of light from this Archangels heart chakra which we will fully call into our hearts and extend that emerald healing ray of love to the world during the eclipse. How wonderful.

All eclipses alter the electromagnetic frequencies in our bodies and the earth. During totality, all of nature becomes quiet. No animals make a sound. We need to be still and silent during the eclipse.

The ECLIPSE is aligned in a GRAND FIRE TRINE with the GALACTIC CENTER @ 28 degrees SAGITTARIUS and URANUS the planet of higher consciousness freedom, innovation, and revolution at 28 degrees ARIES. According to the Mayans the GALACTIC CENTER is the source for all souls to enter and leave our Milky Way Galaxy. It is the Cosmic Yoni, the Womb of the Great mother and is the source of great cosmic wisdom and healing.

This Grand Fire Trine is a powerful message from our Central STAR and the void/womb of our Source and Center. A perfect balance of masculine Solar energy and Feminine Galactic consciousness.

We need to connect with all the Leonine qualities. Courage, pride, will power, strength, passion, Love and leadership. LEO is the sign of creativity, it rules the heart, self-expression, drama and the child; our inner and the real children who need protection and unconditional love.

As the ring of fire or diamond ring appears at eclipse totality the “As Above, So Below.” Symbol serves as a cosmic marker that everyone is being crowned in the LIGHT and becomes their own Sovereign authority living from the heart.  This profound symbol of hope tells us that in times of apparent darkness, the light always shines and triumphs.

It’s very important for as many people as possible to gather with sacred intentions in circles during the eclipse to align with these profound energies. We will all download the codes and frequencies in our consciousness on all levels. If you wish to work solo that is fine too. Listen to your own heart.

Remember to never look directly at the eclipse without protective eyewear or you will go blind.

We will honor this eclipse with ceremony because we are an intrinsic part of the turning of the cycles of time.

RITUAL DURING THE ECLIPSE

You can keep your ritual as simple as you like, just light a candle and sit facing the direction that works for you. You can be outside, or in. Read the Meditation Instructions and focus your energy in your heart. Remember that everything is intention.

Be prepared in advance before the start of the eclipse. Settle yourself or your group, get comfortable, close your eyes and take at least 12 deep, full, relaxed breaths, quietening and calming your mind and body. If you must leave the circle for any reason after you have called in the directions, angels and spirit please say. “All my ancestors.”  When you re-enter, the circle repeat the words.

PREPARATION:

Align your space with the 4 Cardinal Direction; East, South West, North. Always move clockwise in ceremonial space. Define the boundaries of your space by walking with a lit candle or sprinkle salt, sand or earth around the area you will be doing your ritual/intention.

CLEANSING YOUR SELF AND YOUR CIRCLE

Use Smudge- dried- not cooking-sage. Sweetgrass and dried cedar is a North American cleanser. Palo Santo an ancient wood from Peru, Copal or other incense. Smudge your aura and chakras and then the space.

1 or 4 Yellow or gold candles to honor the element of FIRE and the SUN.

Bring into your circle if you wish, as many colors, metals, flowers and oils to harmonize with the Leo energy.

A picture of yourself as a child. Some paper a journal and some pastels or crayons colored pencils or paints to create with.

LEO is the sign of the Major Arcana of STRENGTH # 11 or 8 in the Tarot. This card traditionally shows a woman holding the jaws of a lion open or riding a lion with an infinity symbol over her head, indicating that she has learned to control her unconscious animal instincts and that she has achieved enlightenment. MEDITATION GUIDE

 

MUSIC: A trance drum heartbeat, or active meditation music. You can pre-record these instructions with pauses to listen to as you do the meditation.

After you have smudged. Light your candles one by one. I always start in the EAST where the Sun rises and move clockwise. Different traditions, and Pagans use different directions and associations. Start with the direction and element that works for you.

Call in the four elements, the four directions, spirits and Four Archangels into your sacred circle. In their traditional and Zodiacal order:

MICHAEL in the EAST {Taurus}

GABRIEL in the SOUTH {Aquarius}

RAPHAEL in the NORTH {Leo}

URIAL/Ariel in the WEST {Scorpio}

You can call on any Lion spirit animals or Gods and Goddesses. DURGA who defeats all demons should be called into your meditation riding her Lion. Her mantra, HEY MATTA DURGA, repeat 4 x’s. You can find these sacred chants on YouTube.

Begin to breathe, naturally deeply, sending your breath down your spine into your 1^st root chakra, down your spine, ruled by Leo, into Mother earth to ground you. Mother earth also has a heart flame at her center. Go down deeper and deeper past the rocks crystals and minerals and merge with her liquid iron molten core which is her heart.  You can ask Mother Earth if she needs you to do something for Her. Wait and see if something happens. If you feel or sense nothing it’s OK. Trust that you are receiving something on an unconscious level. Thank Mother Earth, Gaia.

Breathe into your 3^rd chakra spending more time here. This chakra 2 finger widths below your navel symbolizes your inner sun and your spiritual umbilicus and will power connecting your spirit to the cosmos.

Then breathe the heart/earth/fire energy back up through your root chakra bringing a fiery warmth up through each chakra, one at a time from the root to your HEART CHAKRA. This Chakra’s color is emerald green, sometimes tinged with pink. You may feel your heart expand open and feel strengthened.

Feel and sense your heart. In your imagination go into your heart. Enter the walls of your heart and note the four chambers. You will hear the loud pounding and the swishing of your blood flowing. Sense the walls of your hearts’ inner landscape. Let go of any mental resistance and allow yourself to be present in your heart scape. Follow your subtle feelings. You may enter any chamber of your heart or just stay centered there. Feel one with the drum beat of your heart. This was the sound we all heard when we were in our mother’s wombs.

If it feels right, you can call for a feline spirit animal to come to accompany you. Be open. A lion or a kitten, panther, lioness or cheetah may appear as the spirit of Leo. If no animal appears, just stay in your heart and breathe love. If there are blocks, resistance or pain, call Archangel Raphael to heal you. If you need to cry, do so, as this is a time to express your feelings fully. It’s a time of transitions and letting go.

At the time of the totality imagine your heart connecting with the Black SUN, and the Grand Fire Trine with the Cosmic Yoni/ black Hole/void of the Galactic Center and Uranus. Call in Archangel Raphael and the Lion spirits. Really open yourself fully to receive whatever impressions, sensations, images or words come through to you. This is a huge galactic download. Feel your heart swell with love and strength. Feel, send and see yourself and the entire planet immersed in an emerald Green ray of Love.

From the healing ray of Unconditional Love and send the intention with your will/ solar 3^rd chakra, that you and every living person lives and acts from their Hearts 100% of the time. Intend that all humans recognize their own spiritual Light and inner authority. Intend that we all awaken NOW to an enlightened consciousness of love, Oneness and unity under the SUN. Intend that Love is the Higher Law; that creativity, passion, bliss, protecting the children and our Mother the Earth are our sacred duties.

Visualize and feel everyone on the earth absorbing the Heart Unity and love/bliss as the electro-magnetic frequencies are altered. Feel tenderness, strength, courage, healing and passion pumping in your veins. Vow to love yourself and others more. Vow to love everything under the Sun as sacred. Vow to be the star in your own life and your own movie. You are Sovereign. Vow to be a sacred artist and to create and co-create. Dance, sing and drum in circles all of the time. Vow to “Follow your bliss” as Joseph Campbell famously said.

At the end of the eclipse close your ceremony thanking the spirits Angels and elements for being in your circle. Release and thank each one out loud back to their direction, from where you began. At the end of the ceremony say, “May the circle be open but unbroken. Thank you. It is finished in beauty. Aho.”

Write down, draw, sing or dance your experience to record it.

WORLD WATER DAY MARCH 22 join in global prayers

We are 70% water. The earth is also 70% water.

All life on earth evolved from the Oceans. All marine creatures, especially sea mammals, whales, dolphins, orcas are our literal ancestors. Even if you are a fundamentalist Christian, you still need to have fresh water to drink.

Every human started their existence inside their mother’s womb in saline amniotic fluid, a microcosm of the macrocosm. Our tears, our sweat, our blood, urine and sexual fluids are water.

MARCH 22 is WORLD WATER DAY

Indigenous people’s will be gathering at various locations in the United States, Canada and other parts of the world to pray  for the precious waters that all life forms are made up of and we all need to live.

Drought in California, Africa and other parts of the world threatens our food supplies and thousands of people die every year in increasing numbers from lack of water to drink or to grow crops.

The FUKUSHIMA nuclear disaster now three years old has severely contaminated the Pacific Ocean and that contamination is reaching the Western U.S. and Canadian coast now. The Pacific Ocean is the largest in the world, and mysterious die offs of fish and whales are being recorded in higher numbers.

The World’s oceans have plastic null spots filled with refuse of modern societies plastics addictions.

Our present technological lifestyle is blindly ignorant to the negative effects it is having on the fresh water supplies of the world which are also dwindling rapidly. Pollution from the Alberta Tar Sands in Canada is creating havoc with the land and water and creating soaring cancer rates. Damming up of rivers endangers fragile ecosystems.

What happens when there is no more fresh clean life giving water to drink? We cannot survive without adequate  water to drink and adequate rain to grow food, and nourish all the plants and animals on the earth.

Our thoughts and intentions create and affect reality on a quantum level. As Dr. Emoto has demonstrated a thought of love changes the structure of water to a harmonious balanced state. As the Indigenous elders pray for rain, and pray to cleanse the waters you can join in your intentions and prayers wherever you are

Send your prayers from your heart to cleanse and purify and make abundant,the oceans lakes and rivers of the world, to your local water, the aquifers under the earth, the springs.  Also pray to the Sky and the air to be cleansed of pollution, so that the clouds bring rain.

The New Moon in Virgo Aug 28-29, 2011– Like a Virgin

Every New Moon is a new beginning, a new cycle, a rebirth in the Great Round of the year.
