Truly rare, this hasn’t happened in 492 years.

On October 7, we will have a truly rare cosmic occurrence that you should know about. I know all of the sites that tout ” very rare.. black moon ” as click bait when it isn’t true at all.

Firstly Mercury crosses the zero degree LIBRA point which highlights all the zero degree CARDINAL points indicating many new beginnings.  A pivotal consciousness shift preceding the rare event. Mercury in Libra puts the conversation onto relationships, love, justice, balance and women.

The Sun will square PLUTO at the 15th and most powerful degree of LIBRA and CAPRICORN on October 7th @ 12:33 pm PDT/ 3:33 pm EDT/ 7:33 pm GMT.

Sun squares PLUTO/ Shiva, the supreme “creator, destroyer, and regenerator”

The 15th degree is the exact middle of all 30-degree signs. It is the most powerful.

The last exact square between the Sun at the 15°degree of Libra and Pluto at 15°degrees Capricorn happened on September 28th, 1524- 492 years ago!  The last one closest to those degrees was with the Sun at 14 degrees Libra and Pluto at 14 degrees CAPRICORN on October 6, 1769, 247 years ago. 

The island of Manhattan was sighted for the first time on April 17, 1524 by Verrazzano. 

1769 was the Venus transit observed from Tahiti by James Cook along with a Total solar eclipse. California missions are founded in San Diego, San Francisco, Monterey and Santa Barbara. Napoleon Bonaparte was born.  James Watt gets a British patent for developing what would become the steam engine which starts the Industrial revolution.

Clearly these degrees and the rare square by Pluto and the Sun mark very powerful turning points in our collective unconscious, which Pluto rules. 

The Moon is Void of course at the SUN PLUTO square, indicating that we need to take time out and meditate on what the ghost of these potent degrees signifies for you and your part in the ongoing evolution of consciousness.

The MOON enters CAPRICORN at 1:40 pm PDT/ 4:40 pm EDT/ 8:40 pm GMT and aligns with the CARDINAL point again. 

This about new beginnings on all levels. Align yourself with the four elements which the Cardinal points anchor. 

These are pivotal times we are living in. We must bring the Light of the SUN, Christ Consciousness, Divine Light energies,”the woman clothed with the SUN” as spoken about in Revelations and balance it with our souls.

We must align our highest inspirational, life-affirming consciousness with the entropy of the Universe as well as the death and rebirth constants and still know ourselves as infinite.

We need to shape-shift with the Collective Unconscious and our souls focus here on the earth plane that Pluto in Capricorn represents.  We must balance the light with the dark, that is Libra’s challenge. It is the challenge of all duality. What is your part in the great balancing act?

Very rare Aquarius New Moon karma

I was waiting to write about this Aquarius Ingress and about the New Moon at zero degrees of the 11th sign which is on Jan 20 @ 8:14 a.m. EST.

I received a channeled message about this New Moon. “I sing the body electric” which is a Walt Whitman poem- see below

Aquarius, means River of  Stars. It is not a water but an Air sign. The symbol of the water-bearer is based on Hyas who was killed by wild beasts while fetching water from the river. His sisters make rain when they weep for him, hence the sign’s association with air.

Here is part of this epic poem;

“The man’s body is sacred and the woman’s body is sacred,

No matter who it is, it is sacred—is it the meanest one in the laborers’ gang?

Is it one of the dull-faced immigrants just landed on the wharf?

Each belongs here or anywhere just as much as the well-off, just as much as you,

It sounds very Aquarian. Each one has their own place and are all equal. Don’t you think?

AQUARIUS’s message of Higher Consciousness, seeing the BIG PICTURE is looming large in the Stellar firmament these days for a number of reasons.

There is  VERY RARE Karma to this New Moon.

Firstly, URANUS, the planetary ruler of Aquarius is in an exact conjunction to the SOUTH NODE of the Moon and still in a tight square to Pluto in Capricorn.

Conjunctions to the Nodes mark evolutionary karmic turning points.

In Aquarius these are initiations into new higher levels of consciousness and awareness.

The last time Uranus conjoined the South Node in Aries was  June 2, 1847 at 17 degrees. Pluto was also in Aries at 26 degrees then. This coincides with the California Gold Rush in 1848.

The last time Pluto in Capricorn squared the South Node in Aries was on November 14, 1772 at 19 degrees. Uranus was in Taurus at 22 degrees at the time.  This was during the American Revolutionary War. -Revolution is Aquarius’s middle name.

The last time Uranus was conjunct the South Node in Aries with Pluto squaring the South Node from Cancer was on Jan 17 1680 at 12 degrees. The Pluto placement is exactly opposite of where we are now.

The great comet of 1680 which was spectacularly bright. We are having Comet Lovejoy amongst many others.

But the last time this particular alignment of Uranus with the South Node and Pluto in Capricorn hasn’t happened in more than 2,600 years! The rarity of this specific event  suggests that this year could be one of the most pivotal times in human history.

The New Moon also squares the degree of the last Solar eclipse on October 23 2014 at Zero degrees + of Scorpio. This New moon amplifies the energies that were seeded then. Check out where that degree falls in your natal chart. 

This New Moon features Mercury and Venus cheek to cheek in Aquarius with the Sun and Moon.

Mercury is spending twice as long as usual in Aquarius from Jan 4- March 12.

Oscar Wilde astrology

October 16, 2014  is the 160 anniversary of infamous Irish writer and poet Oscar Wilde. Most famous for writing The Picture of Dorian Gray in 1890, he was jailed for homosexuality in Victorian England and his since become a gay icon. Born into a wealthy family his father was Knighted for being a doctor.

He  refined his ideas about the supremacy of art in a series of dialogues and essays, and incorporated themes of decadence, duplicity, and beauty into his work. He was an avid lecturer on art and modern life.

Oscar is famous for his plays: The Importance of Being Ernest 1895 was a stage hit in London.He wrote Salome in French in Paris but was refused to allowed to perform it as Biblical subjects were forbidden in Victorian England. The famous actress Sarah Bernhardt was in rehearsals to play the lead role. Aubrey Beardsley famous Art Nouveau artist designed it.

Oscar was a brilliant student. He went to Oxford and also became a Master Mason. He was a supreme individualist and aesthete.  He lived very fashionably partying to excess.  He may have been  bi-sexual as he had previous female love interests. He also always wanted to be  Catholic.

In 1882 he came to America to promote his poems and to read. The tour lasted a year and was very successful.  He married Constance Lloyd in 1884. They had two sons together.She continued to support him financially for most of his life.

He was the editor of Lady’s World Magazine in 1887 in London England.

Wilde believed in art as a redemptive value. “Art is individualism, and individualism is a disturbing and disintegrating force. There lies its immense value. For what it seeks is to disturb monotony of type, slavery of custom, tyranny of habit, and the reduction of man to the level of a machine.”

Wilde met Alfred Douglas in 1893 and they has a  tumultuous affair. Oscar started to hang out with gay prostitutes who were young working class, blackmailers who were dangerous and thrilling to Wilde.

In May 1895 Wilde was sentenced to two years of hard labour for being a homosexual for enticing younger working class men into a life of degradation and male homosexuality. “The love that dare not speak its name” is what Oscar Wilde is famous for.

 Prison broke him physically, financially and spiritually. In reflecting on his life he wrote. ..’.I wanted to eat of the fruit of all the trees in the garden of the world… And so, indeed, I went out, and so I lived. My only mistake was that I confined myself so exclusively to the trees of what seemed to me the sun-lit side of the garden, and shunned the other side for its shadow and its gloom.”

released in May 1897 he went to live in France. Totally impoverished, he died November 30 1900  after being given a conditional Baptism and the last rites by a Catholic Priest. He was buried in a tomb outside of Paris but his ashes were transferred to another cemetery.

Oscar’s legacy lives on.Lets look at his astrology chart…

Oscar was a Libra with Venus ruling in her own sign. Libra’s are social addicts. They need relationships, beauty, art, refinement,they see both sides of any issue.

Oscar’s MOON was of course in LEO at the 15th and most powerful degree in his 11th house of receiving love, The moon has an  Aquarian overtone, he was naturally charismatic, charming, powerful. A rule breaker, revolutionary, STAR, proud, vain, the King, creative, expressive, self indulgent, immature, over the top emotionally. He loved drama.

A 15 degree Virgo ASCENDANT means Oscar was an intellectual, a writer, very perfectionist, hard-working, “salt of the earth” or fascinated with the poor, he dallied with working class men.

Mercury planet of communications is in SEXY SCORPIO in the 3rd {GEMINI} house of communications, writing, short journeys. He was an obsessive thinker about sex, danger, secret liasons, power. Very charismatic personality. Mercury rules his Virgo ascendant and his GEMINI career Mid heaven. A natural intellectual, writer and communicator.

VENUS in Libra is powerful in her home sign in the 2nd house of  values, the body, resources. Venus rules flirting, love affairs, the arts, romance, creativity, beauty, good taste socializing. Oscar came from a wealthy family and beautiful aesthetics were his main focus.

MARS is in Sagittarius indicating his spontaneous passions, love of travel, learning, lecturing, being a gypsy. Oscar was a philosopher and he loved to communicate. Mars in the 3rd house of communications he could write very quickly and become inspired easily. He was always curious and naive.

JUPITER at 19 degrees of Capricorn on the 5th house cusp indicates a hard-working person. He accomplished a lot and had much career success at quite a young age. He died at only 46 years of age. Jupiter in Capricorn indicates luck, wisdom, expansion on many peaks. 

Oscars chart is very complex with many inconjunct planets in his natal chart.  You can see all the dotted green lines forming almost a  pentagram.

JUPITER is the YOD or Finger of God point between Saturn in Gemini Retrograde, the highest elevated planet. Saturn is his father, authority figures, men in general, career, structure, obstacles, karma. The Moon in Leo is the other part of the Yod but is also the Finger of God between Jupiter and Neptune Retrograde in Pisces on Oscar’s Descendant.  He was an idealist, a dreamer, a person who got caught in his own projections.

SATURN in Gemini indicates a dual nature. Oscar could be the most sophisticated intellectual and intelligent of writers and communicators and also the lowest of the low in relationships. He had his karma cut out for him with Saturn Retrograde at the noon position in his chart. Every authority figure or man he was involved with was someone he came to finish karma with. He was a Peter Pan, an eternal peur, a boy who never wanted to grow up or old just like the Picture of Dorian Gray.

URANUS is also at 15 degrees of Taurus in the 9th house is square to his Leo Moon. A natural rebel, a trouble maker. Uranus in the 9th is revolutionizing and teaching new values through philosophy, lecturing. speaking. He was extremely sensual and breaking societies rules. He did not respect tradition. Uranus square the Moon indicates a fickleness, a changeable temperament. He was unpredictable emotionally. His life was filled with emotional chaos. He was proud and vain and yet mocked society and the ruling class. This was his undoing later in his life.

NEPTUNE in PISCES Retro on the Descendant

Oscar was an imaginative genius but also deluded, debauched, someone who projected his fantasies onto others men and relationships in general. He was a dreamer, an artist, very sensitive, psychic, empathic. He was an addictive personality, and indulged himself sexually to his own detriment with Neptune square Saturn. Neptune was also quincunx the Moon in Leo. He had insatiable appetites.

PLUTO at 2 degrees Taurus Retrograde in the 8th is quincunx Mars in Sagittarius. Pluto is the soul, the unconscious, the shadow. Pluto in Taurus is the SOUL as BODY,  being ruled by your body’s sensuality sexuality and desires. For Oscar his soul transformed through the body and sensuality.  Oscar’s shadow was consorting with men who were foreign, exotic to him. Ultimately for those Victorian times this was his demise. 

His North Node was 22 degrees of Taurus in the 9th house. Oscar’s highest spiritual goals is to embody and teach a philosophy of freedom, higher consciousness, honesty, metaphysics, sensuality arts and justice.

His SOUTH NODE in Scorpio in the 3rd house would imply past lives as a philosopher, a teacher, traveler, someone with secrets, power, who need to be in control. He could have been a powerful, manipulative, very sexual. debauched Roman in past lives. We come into our present life with unconscious memories and impulses from the past. Oscar brought through his intense sexual desire which wasn’t appropriate for Victorian repressive times.

Saturn is also in quincunx to his Scorpio South Node indicating old revenge from former liasons who were out to get him in trouble.

He was a wounded healer, His body desires, his vanity and ego were his undermining. It was his karma to fall from grace, to be targetted by the establishment.

October 9 is the anniversary birthday of John Lennon ,one of my and millions of other peoples’ heroes. John, the true Libra peacemaker would have been 73 years young.

Gee I wish he were here to comment on the current state of the World,

so I tuned in and I asked him- Here’s what I received in a channelled message.

“Bloody hell, its more fooked up now than it was in 1980. Britain is totally on camera and it’s a shameful waste of affairs. Even though there’s a black president he acts like a white zombie. He’s just a puppet of the corporate New World Order, Monsanto’s, ya know. Don’t believe anything you read in the newspapers or on that world-wide spider webbots. Ya gotta learn to think for herself, wasn’t that a song one of the Beatles did years ago? It’s easier to think for yerself these days, if you can see past the false flags and chem trails.”

“Totally panderized pap ,designed by big designer producers, auto- tune and all that, can’t even sing, pretty face adverts, a total sell out. These young kids just want money fame sex and drugs and are willing to bend over and suck whoever’s dick to make it happen. Maybe only one or two interesting people. Music needs more risk- takers, stuff that’s not guaranteed to sell at all. Lotta mindless dance music.”

“Marina and the Diamonds- she’s got irony, and a good voice. The Black Keys are a good old rock band. Lady Gaga’s OK. she’s artsy, I like that. Bjork too, she’s not so new.  I like trance music and house not so fond of that hip hop stuff. Liked the politics of that Thrift Shop and the Gay love one. Forget Justin Screiber and those other kids -Miley,the pretty Latina-Selina. There’s always been teeny-bopper,bubble gum music but it didn’t sell the most records all the time. That Psy guy, that Korean horsy thing. that was fun, off the well trod path.

Happy Lammas, Wiccan holiday, you Look marvellous dahling

August 1 is known as LAMMAS in the wiccan/pagan calendar of the 8 rounds of the wheel of the year

Lammas is aChristianized version meaning “loaf Mass.”

Lughnasad is its other name. We are half way to the AUTUMN Equinox now.

This feastival honors the Grain gods. IT’s a very very ancient festival. From the races before the Celts.

At this time of year, The Bees are Buzzing, or should be. Where have all the bees gone? Monsanto?

It is traditionally celebrated as the wake of the Sun KING, who is dying now in the waning of his own Light.

British witches celebrate it on August 6 this is a cross quarter station in the round of the year.  It occurs in relationship to Leo the Lion, the Royal watcher related to Archangel Raphael and the heart chakra and the deep emerald-green colour.

It was a time for communal festivities, crafts, jams, plays, dances, what we think of as a Renaissance fair.

A highlight of these festivals was a wheel set afire and rolled down a hill called  “Catherine wheels. ” Based on a mythological figure, her worshippers were the CATHARS or Cathari= heretics who were routed out by the Catholic Church. The word catharsis comes from the same Latin root.

BONFIRES are always part of this festival perhaps to give the Sun more light.

Celebrations include making cookie people figures and star cookies are baked in celebration.  It is time of anxious waiting, we are not yet assured of a harvest which will keep the people alive. It is  a time to free oneself from FEAR.  A snake dance is created going counter clock wise, bread figures are thrown into the bonfire to symbolize the burning up of one’s fears. Then one says what one hopes to harvest.

Symbols of STARS are held up. The High Priestess would say,

“MAY THE STAR OF HOPE BE WITHIN US ALWAYS.”

The coveners would eat the star cookies and celebrate.

RIP Neil Armstrong, Astrology of a Moon Walker from Tara Greene

Neil Armstrong the first man to walk on the Moon, a man whose footprint on the lunar surface, literally, may be long in surpassing, has passed away Aug 25 2012 at 82. He has transitted from Moon walker to true Sky Walker, Star Walker, stuff of legends.

“That’s one small step for man, a giant leap for mankind” the whole world, or as many televisions or radios sets as could receive the signal from space that July 21 1969 was watching. An estimated 450 million people were listening.

So how were the stars aligned when Neil Armstrong was born? Lets look at his Astrology.

YES I would say Neil definitely signed on to being a legend being  a LEO, he was a natural HERO and leader, fond of being the center of attention, one who likes the drama of being on the worlds’ stage is certainly a quality one would need to accomplish such a task.

The Moon at 25 degrees of SAGITTARIUS is conjunct the GALACTIC CENTER showing him to be a man who aims higher, seeks freedom, knowledge, wants to understand purpose and philosophy, the higher truth is what his Moon signifies. The G.C. Moon confers a special connection to GALACTIC Source energy. Literally it is an emotional yearning to return to the mother, source, the Unconscious, outer space.

GEMINI ASCENDANT

and Mars at 14 degrees Gemini in the 1st house shows Neil’ s “fly boy” persona. Charming, curious, quick minded, fast learner.

MARS is drive ambition, and he definitely had that. His ambition, his machismo was powerful. Mars is speed, risk, and thrills. In the 1st house it’s all about “ME.” He most likely had that infamous dual nature. Could be shy and retiring but also sought the spotlight and fame.

Neil’s Venus was also in Virgo; he loved and valued precision, order, organization, being detached and most of all being of service.

Jupiter was in Cancer {family man, traditional, sentimental, close to his mother} is opposite Saturn Retrograde in Capricorn in the 8th house of transformation, power, secrets, control. This is a strong work hard, play hard aspect. It must have been difficult for him to worry about dying on a  mission and not being able to be there for his family if anything happened. It was a very risky mission.

Saturn Retro in Capricorn indicated that his karma was one where he already knew how to assume worldly power, hold the mantle of authority from previous lives.

Pluto is in Cancer , old fashioned American values, serving his country as his duty. Never questioning or rebelling against established authority. Pluto in Cancer rules the stomach and Neil died as a result of stomach related operation.

Pluto squares Uranus so his souls’ mission was to change the world.

Jupiter the planet that rules Sagittarius, airplanes, flight, freedom, higher learning, sacred law, expansion, understanding is transiting exactly on his Natal Mars indicating it is time for Neil to expand into the Galaxy and truly fly free.

Neptune planet of spirituality, dreaming, is also exactly opposite his Natal Neptune, again a very powerful image of a spiritual upload to the heavens.

Venus at 16 degrees of Cancer is exactly square to his Natal Uranus on the cusp of his 12th house, and close to Neil’s natal Pluto. The love for freedom and for his soul’s purpose is evident here.

Pluto is just passed his natal Saturn, and this is very karmic, the soul Pluto, and the physical body {Saturn in Capricorn} have united for the 3rd and last pass of this transit. Pluto is also opposite his natal Jupiter, a true expansion.

The transiting South Node has just crossed Neil’s Ascendant, and is square to his Natal Neptune. His past is done, he will wear a new form. The right place for Neil to be is in bliss in the Oneness.

Interesting  that the recent SATURN/ MARS conjunction fell exactly on Mr. Armstrong’s SOUTH NODE, opposite his North Node in indicating that his work on the earth in this lifetime was done.
