The eclipse is Penumbral and wont fully cover the Moon. ALL eclipses carry high voltage energies. Tibetan Buddhists say that during a lunar eclipse, our actions, whether good or bad, are multiplied one thousandfold. 

According to tantric Buddhist cosmology, the energies that are lost during eclipses, cannot be recovered. This means that every time there is an eclipse, there is a gradual diminishment of energy on the planet. Over the course of decades, centuries, and millennia, this gradual decreasing of energy is what is known as ‘the degenerate age.’ This manifests as the gradual lessening of the power of the five elements – food and herbs loose their potency, there is less oxygen in the atmosphere, diseases and pollution increase, there is a worsening of natural disasters and suffering. This process of elemental degeneration is largely created as a result of these continual cycles of eclipses, until finally we reach the end of the kalpa when only one element predominates and consumes what is left.”

Gemini, the 3^rd Zodiac signs’ constellation was imagined as twin human brothers and the battle between opposites in the West.. The twins are an ancient archetypal symbol in almost every culture. In the Bible, Cain and Abel were the first children of the earth and they feuded. This is the Ancient Gemini myth.

In INDIA and in CHINA the Twins were seen as the Divine Couple, or Lovers, Isis and Osiris. Gemini literally symbolizes the twin halves of the brain and our two lungs. We also live in an apparently dualistic universe. Everything has its opposite, day/night, south/north, male/female, yin/yang, heaven/earth, light/dark, good/evil.

GEMINI is the first Air sign and symbolizes the first breath of life at birth. Gemini is consciousness itself, communication, thinking and information. Gemini rules our lungs.

The Gemini Full Moon and sign is ruled by the planet MERCURY, or Hermes, a hermaphrodite, {Hermes/Aphrodite] is dual sexed Archetype. Mercury is the Mercurial, fleet-footed winged messenger of the Gods. As Hermes, he is THOTH to the Egyptians who taught humankind the secrets of immortality and to whom the famous “As above, so below.” maxim is attributed. Mercury rules Wednesday. Mercury is also known as a Trickster in mythology, and is known as Coyote in Native American tails. Does your mind play tricks on you?

In the Tarot, Air is symbolized by swords, which cut through the tangle of distractions. All heroes and heroines must battle with their sword of discrimination, severing Hydra’s heads, battling dragons or negative thoughts.

The word magician comes from the root word Magus, Magi, whose root word is Image, imagination. The Magician/Mercury is everyone’s internal magic wand. Just like in Harry Potter, your intention, your thoughts/sword, is your mental focus, your consciousness. Combined with desire/intent creates whatever you wish. This the Law of attraction. As you imagine or think, so mote it be. Consciousness is all that is, is everything that exists.

BREATHING MEDITATION ON THIS MUTABLE FULL MOON

Gemini is associated with #6 The Lovers, and the King of Swords. All suits of swords or Air. If you have a Tarot deck pull out these cards to act as Guides and Mascots for this meditation.

This is a DUAL INTENTION

1. Remembering to breathe and using the Mind as a magic wand.
2. Questioning our ego assumptions and embodying the Lovers.

MEDITATION

Set up a sacred meditation space, alter or mesa. You can pre-record these instructions with pauses to listen to as you do the meditation.

Begin by smudging yourself first. Light your candles. One for each direction. I always work EAST to SOUTH to WEST TO NORTH. Always move clockwise. Call in the four elements and the four direction into your sacred circle.

Call in the four Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, Ariel, Raphael in the same order.
Center yourself by breathing, sit or lie down, close your eyes.

Sit upright. Begin to breathe, slowly, naturally and deeply. Let all your thoughts dissipate as you breathe in and out. Pay attention to your breath moving in through your nostrils filling up your lungs and then being released as your lungs empty, breathing out through your mouth. Pause after you exhale for a few seconds then slowly breath in for the count of four and be aware of the air, pneuma, the breath entering your lungs and filling them. The deeper you breathe, the more oxygen enters your body and brain. This expands your consciousness and awareness. The more air comes into your body the more your entire body relaxes.

Be aware of your solar plexus, this is the 3^rd chakra, the MANIPURA, meaning jeweled city. Seed symbol is Ram. Vowel Sound is Ah.

This chakra is like a blazing yellow SUN. This is your spiritual will center. Two fingers-width below your navel, extending your will out into the cosmos. Feel your 3^rd chakra lighting up, getting brighter, sunnier, and glowing. Keep doing deep mindful breathing as your mind gets emptier and emptier.

This chakra also related to the 5^th Visuddha. Seed symbol is HAM. Vowel Sound is EEEEE.

Keep breathing naturally and deeply, and begin to use your breath to sound, chant or sing. Sounding is very healing. Sound the Vowels for the 3^rd and 5^th chakra.

Then beginning by sending your breath down your spine to your root chakra. Sense being rooted to the earth and work up through each chakra one at a time until you get to the crown chakra whose colour is white. The thousand petalled lotus.

As you sound and fill your lungs with more breath, breath after you have reached your crown chakra then send the breath down your spine and through each chakra through your root chakra into the earth. Send it past the rocks, and crystals, deep down into the very center of Mother Earth. Feel the connection of your breath to the fire and earth and water elements of the earth. Then bring your attention back up from the earth through the root chakra back into your lungs.

CALLING

Call upon the Archangel Raphael to bring healing into wherever you need it in your mind and thoughts. Look at what choices you have made and how they have put you where you are in your life now.

Mercury travels between the realm of the Gods and Goddesses, Your Higher self and you. Ask him the major questions you need to further your progress. Ask Mercury if he has any messages for you. Ask Mercury to tune up your mind, to have it work clearer, purer, and to hear directly the conversation with your Guardian Angel.

To embody the Archetype of Gemini through the Lovers.

By marrying your masculine and feminine side you become whole. Become aware of the right hand being associated with your logical masculine side connected to the left side of your brain. Then become aware of your left hand being connected to your intuitive, emotional feeling, feminine right side of your brain.

Bring both your hand together and clasp your fingers together. This physically and mentally combines both sides of your brain and makes you into a hermaphrodite. Bring your intertwined fingers up to your mouth and lower your head. This is a prayer position. From this place of prayer and unity, feel how you are whole, united, you have both masculine and feminine within. The Lovers is about self-love, wholeness, Oneness. Feel this Inner Lover. Feel your love for them and them for you. Give and receive. This is the unconditional love of the Beloved. Rumi wrote thousands of love poems once he felt the presence of the Beloved within. When you do this magical inner work with your Beloved, love appears everywhere around you. With this knowledge you can go into the world and speak love, discriminate with love. Be a Lover in the world.

At this Full Moon Eclipse be Grateful and give thanks for all you have in your life, say it aloud. Come out of your meditation. Write down whatever images, gifts, words, sensation came to you. Stay with this energy over the next two weeks until the New Moon in Sagittarius.

At the end of every ceremony thank the spirits and elements for coming to be in your circle. You must release each one back to their direction, starting in the East or South, whichever direction you began. Thank each one out loud is best, for participating in the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony say, “May the circle be open but unbroken. May the love of the Goddess be ever in my heart. Thank you. It is finished in beauty. Aho.”

Rare Super Galactic luck and love Full Moon

The Sagittarius Full Moon, June 17 is exact At  1:30 am PDT/ 4:30 am EDT/ 8:30 am GMT is at 25+ degrees.

Ruled by the planet Jupiter which is at its greatest strength in his own home sign of Sagittarius. The Full Moon is conjunct to the Galactic Center at 26+ Sagittarius now is a Super rare occurrence. This opportunity once comes by once in 12 years with Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center at a Full Moon. Jupiter is 7 degrees from the Moon and 8 degrees from G.C.

There will be a second opportunity on November 26 on a New Moon in Sagittarius at much earlier 4 degrees with Jupiter at the 29th and most powerful Degree of Sagittarius and still conjunct with the Galactic Black Hole.

This June Full Moon is known as the strawberry or Rose Moon, to Europeans. Roses are the prime symbol of Love, the Vagina/Yoni and is Venus’s symbol too. Use this Magical Rose Moon to your best advantage. June is the month dedicated to the Goddess Juno, and committed relationships or marriages.

All Full Moon’s are times of the greatest emotional intensity. This one in fiery, honest, optimistic, truth and justice-seeking Sagittarius also peaks four days before Litha or the Summer Solstice on June 21. I’ll write about that separately.

Here’s why from the planet’s perspective.

The Moon is Conjunct the Galactic Center, the supermassive Black Hole or Cosmic Yoni as the Mayan people saw it, at 26+ Sagittarius by 1 degree.

The SUN at 25 Gemini is conjunct the North or Pole Star 

The North is always considered to be the guidepost. As Neptune in Pisces is squaring Jupiter in Sagittarius many of are feeling lost, having difficulty with addictions, feeling drained. The Sun on the North Star can help light our way and set our directions straight again. 

JUPITER SQUARES NEPTUNE

 Jupiter, the largest planet, governs two signs, Sagittarius and Pisces in traditional Astrology. Both planets are in their home signs at their strongest and Jupiter is exactly squaring Neptune in Pisces. This is a high-pressure aspect, combining much faith, optimism and spiritual energy. 

Jupiter = Big, optimistic, faith risk-taking and trust.

Neptune = psychic, dreams, magic and illusions.

This formula says: Make Big Magic, dreams, have faith and trust the Universe.

But be aware of overindulgence and too much of a Too good to be true thing

All planets have an upside and a downside. Jupiter can be overconfident and too risk-taking. Neptune is the planet of illusions, delusions, false gurus, debt and addictions. SATURN/PLUTO conjunction opposite Mercury, Mars and Juno 

The Heavy change up planet karmic Saturn and soul searching Pluto are conjunct in earthy Capricorn weighing us all dawn and making us feel exhausted. These 2 heavy heavyweights are opposite the warrior Mars in Cancer and the Trickster Messenger Mercury in Cancer. This is a sink or swim time.

JUNO the Asteroid Goddess who June is named in honor of is at the last critical degree of Cancer opposite Pluto, Lord of the Underworld. I believe Juno is the Feminine form of Genius. Her symbol looks like a magic wand. She symbolizes the need to tap into our deep primordial oceanic memories to sustain and guide ourselves.

CHIRON in ARIES trines Ceres in Sagittarius 

Reminding us to take action to protect the earth. She is hurting.

LILITH in PISCES Squares CERES in Sagittarius

Lilith and Ceres are in a tighter longer square. The archetypes of the Mother Ceres/ Demeter and Lilith the Sacred Sexual First Woman will be battling it out. Lilith’s energy is emerging in women’s unconscious and in their dreams as well as the collective unconscious. Watch for images of snakes, owls, harpy’s and anger and rage for not being treated as an equal. Female rage over patriarchy is reaching its peak as we see the rape of Mother Earth is equal to the rapes and sex trafficking of innocent women and children worldwide. Sagittarius, the 9^th sign is known for distant travels, truth, justice, freedom, higher education, philosophy, humor, religion, politics, teachers, optimism, risk-taking, trust, adventure, faith, and mysticism.

The root of the word Sagittarius is related to the word sage. A sage is a venerable, older, wise teacher who inspires and passes on valuable information. Sagittarius is the last and most mature of the fire signs. The Sagittarius mission is to inspire and to point its arrows of truth higher towards the Galactic Center. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, King of the Gods. Jupiter also rules the sign of Pisces traditionally. 

Sagittarius is connected to the Greek Goddess Diana, the wild virgin huntress, Goddess of the Moon. The wolf or the dog is also associated with Sagittarius. Call upon her wild independent “women who run with the wolves” energy and spirit for wisdom if you need.

The Tarot Major Arcana for SAGITTARIUS is #14 Temperance /ALCHEMY or ART

This is the card of balance and Transformation. It is related to the Philosopher’s stone which symbolizes turning lead {Saturn, matter} into Gold {the Sun or spiritual Light}.

SMUDGE WITH SAGE or lavender

Center yourself by breathing, sit in a lotus position if you can. You can do this ritual outdoors. It would be good to be barefoot and sitting on the earth. Light your candles and incense and close your eyes.

Set your intentions on expanding your ability to connect with your Holy Guardian Angel and the Higher Master Teachers which Jupiter governs.

Breathe in through your nose naturally, breathing and sending your intention to your root chakra. Connect your breath down by growing a tail with each breath that grows down from the base of your spine, down into the earth’s molten lava iron core.

When you feel the connection to the earth’s fire, breathe it up through the rocks and crystals back up into your root chakra and breathe it up in sequence from the lowest 1^st root chakra up to the 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, 6^th and 7^th chakras. You can also send your energy breath and intention out and beyond your crown chakra to the 8^th and 9^th chakras. The 8^th is your Higher self, it is Gold about 1 foot above your head. The Peruvian shamans send energy to a 9^th chakra which symbolizes the Galactic Center and beyond, the Viracocha. Direct your energy out there, and call upon your Holy Guardian Angel and Michael and Uriel and the Master Teachers to come and connect with you.

Now direct your attention within. See your inner feminine and inner masculine sides. Sense their individual energies. Watch them yearn for each other and sense them pouring into the other. Watch the masculine become feminine and the feminine becomes masculine. Sense and feel this new essence, this TEMPERANCE energy of #14 Tarot Arcana, sense this unified golden wholeness within your being that has been transformed into a completely new you. Feel yourself radiate the Gold. Sound AUM or OHM.

Send this energy out into the world. 

For those of you who are single and still longing to find your soulmate, doing this exercise is mandatory to magnetically attract your “other half” to you.

Ask your Holy Guardian Angel or Higher self to converse with you. Allow, joy, ecstasy and laughter to erupt inside of you. It may feel like a total body orgasm. This is your natural state.

Mothers Meditation Cancer Christmas Full Moon

The Full Moon, December 25, Christmas Day @ 11:11 am GMT is a very rare occurrence. It hasn’t happened since 1977 and the next Christmas Full Moon won’t happen until 2034. The message is be in the now and don’t miss it. At 3+ degrees Cancer it is the sign of the Mother, the Great Mother, receptivity, family, nurturing, food, the stomach, instincts, intuition, the oceans, nourishment, emotional safety, security, Home, roots, foundation, the womb, protection, the matrix.

Cancer is a cardinal water sign governed by the Moon. This is a beautiful Full Moon synchronicity as Christmas is all about celebrating birth, family, giving and children. This Christmas will be a very emotionally loaded situation. The connection to the Divine Mother and her Divine Child brings unconditional Healing love for all the children of the world and we do so need to receive that now. Call upon the Moon Mothers, Egyptian Goddess Isis, Diana, Kwan Yin, Tara, there are hundreds of them, to show you their love and to heal your heart, womb and soul so that you may spread your love to all the children, the oceans and rivers. This Full Moon is a time of fertility. The Full Moon in Cancer will exert event stronger pulls on our emotions and the tides. The Werewolf myth symbolizes the wild, unconscious, instinctual responses we have to the Full Moon. It is naturally a time of strong sexuality and the only time during the month when our ancestors would be out at night, safely enjoying a moon bath.

This Full Moon will greatly exaggerate our emotions, our hearts and our unquenched thirst for love. We all have inner children whose need to be loved, accepted and appreciated never diminishes. Cancer rules the stomach and all eating disorders are connected to the lack of being breast-fed, bonding with the mother, or lacking a sense of emotional safety as young child. Of course this Full Cancerian Moon will be stirring our moods and upsetting our tummies. Be mindful of over-eating as emotional compensation, to numb out stressful feelings

In the Tarot the sign of Cancer is symbolized by Major Arcana #7 The Chariot.

The Chariot is a very spiritual card as it relates to the emotional body being the vehicle or chariot that the soul uses. To navigate the Chariot one must have total emotional control. The Charioteer dressed in armor of gold and encrusted with jewels in the Thoth tarot holds the Wheel of Time/Karma/ Fortune in their lap. This Card signifies that if one can control their emotions they control and guide their karma/future/ fortune.

The obvious questions that come up:  Are you in the driver’s seat? How will you stay in equanimity when you are with your family and all the old childhood triggers happen? Of course this Full Cancerian Moon will be stirring our moods, and upsetting our tummies, which Cancer rules. This may be a Christmas of over-eating as emotional compensation, to numb out feelings.

Cancer 4. People watching fireworks in the distance.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Weeping willows by a pond.” The fronds of the trees reach down toward the water. Knowledge (as symbolized by trees) seeks connection with the emotional and intuitive realms. At the other extreme – high in the sky – are the fireworks of the Omega Symbol, and unlike the closeness of the fronds to the water, they are at a distance. They signify spiritual glories, the fiery, free, and beautiful energies of the ethereal realms. These are the two places where we need to focus our attention – deep inside ourselves (the pond) and far outside ourselves into the infinite. The more aware we become of these two realms the more we see they they are reflections of each other, and that ultimately they are the same – there is no inner or outer, only the oneness and unity of self.

This is the best time to bring out your crystals to be washed in the full Moon’s light. Also making tinctures for women’s reproduction is done under this Full Moon.

Set up a sacred meditation space, alter or mesa.

You can pre-record these instructions with pauses to listen to as you do the meditation.

MUSIC: soft flowy, watery sounds, whale sounds, or heartbeat rate drum beat.

Begin by smudging yourself first. Light your candles. One for each direction. I always work EAST to SOUTH to WEST TO NORTH. Always move clockwise. Call in the four elements and the four direction into your sacred circle.

Call in the four Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, Ariel, Raphael in the same order.
Center yourself by breathing, sit or lie down, close your eyes.

Sit upright. Begin to breathe, slowly, naturally and deeply. Let all your thoughts dissipate as you breathe in and out. Pay attention to your breath moving in through your nostrils filling up your lungs and then being released as your lungs empty, breathing out through your mouth. Pause after you exhale for a few seconds then slowly breathe in for the count of four and be aware of the air entering your lungs and filling them. The deeper you breathe, the more oxygen enters your body and brain. This expands your consciousness and awareness and your entire body relaxes.

Breathe into and be aware of your womb. Put your hands on your 2^nd chakra. Men also have a spirit womb. We want to go back into the unconscious memories of being in our mother’s and in the Great Mother’s womb.

Feel how you are totally loved and inseparable from the physical, spiritual and emotional ground with your mother. You are One with the Universe who is your Mother.  If you had a difficult relationship with your mother, or if you were unwanted emotionally while your mother was pregnant, or you were abandoned, then this is the perfect time to heal those issues by connecting with the Divine Goddess.

Imagine that you go back in time to before you were born in this life. See and sense yourself as a small baby in utero. Listen. You will hear the pounding of the heartbeat of your mother, as a steady drum beat.  Ba boom, ba boom, ba boom. This was the constant rhythm that accompanied every child every moment before birth. It is pitch black and you are weightless, floating in the amniotic sac. You have no thirst and no hunger, your needs are automatically cared for, continuously fed through your umbilicus and the placenta. Feel the sense of total ease, joy, connection, warmth, safety and security.

Imagine the Great Goddess, you can see her as Mary if you are Catholic, or as the Great Mother, Demeter, Yemaya or Kwan Yin.  Feel her take you magically into her womb. Feel yourself having a joyous easy ecstatic birth. Feel the Great Mother take you to her breast and nurse you. Taste the ambrosia, which you eagerly gulp down and which makes you feel dizzy with joy and bliss. Your tummy feels filled and satisfied. Feel her gazing into your eyes and your soul. Feel her heart totally embracing you with unshakable love. Your body will begin to relax, to trust, and to feel nurtured as you receive this unconditional love like a hummingbird drinks nectar. Do this and allow whatever feelings and sensations of peace, contentment, and relaxation arise.

Soak up the love for as long as you wish. You may fall asleep, that is ok. Remember that the Divine Mother has always been and will always be there to hold you, protect you and nurture you. You are safe, loved and secure. When you are filled with unconditional love then you have more than enough love in your heart to share to give unconditionally to others.

Come out of this meditation feeling content, blissed out, relaxed and satisfied. This is the peace. Do this meditation daily. Thank the Great Mother.

Pregnant mothers: this is an excellent moon to really connect with your unborn child. Think about giving birth in as natural a way as possible. It is the most important transition in anyone’s life. Water births are very safe and labor is easier for the mother and child. Get a midwife, she will empathize in a way that no doctor or gynecologist will. Home births are the safest and easiest for mothers.
