This is a very emotional sentimental traditionally mothering nurturing time. We want to head to the waters to our place of emotional safety and refuge.

Home is where the heart is and the heart IS  home. This energy turns our hearts and our stomachs homeward bound.  This is very feminine energy, highly sensitive moody energy.

Do beautify your nest, put in a water feature, renovate a kitchen or bathroom or find a place you will love to call home.

This is the nurturing, plentiful, bountiful, beautiful Mother Goddess. The way to anyone’s heart with Venus in Cancer is literally through their stomachs.  Eat, eat like a stereotypical  Jewish Mother. Children will express more emotions and will need to be especially nurtured and cared for during this time.  

Venus, was born from the ocean,  the source of all Life,  as in the famous Botticelli painting. CANCER, is the ocean, the protective womb, the ocean.

FOOD + LOVE

Cancer is nourishment, Venus is quality. Venus in Cancer loves to eat, loves gorgeous presented food that is highly comforting and nutritious.  There will be lots of cooking going on. Do take a cooking class to learn how to prepare and cook food and as a social means too. Cancer can be crabby and defensive and this also point out to eating disorders, eating for your emotions. 

Venus in Cancer will highlight our need to protect our food from destructive GMO’s and MONSANTO’s hell-bent on destroying the food supply. Venus on the half-shell. The value of all creatures in the ocean is important, Whales, dolphins, sharks, narwhals, seals, fish,  crustaceans, these all need to be protected. 

WATER

Spend time near water, swim if you can, meditate and reflect on water. Do stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water. Do a water puja every day. A water puja is a ritual where you offer water to a Goddess as a thank you. Water symbolizes consciousness as well as emotions. It can be done every time you wash your hands.  

WATER is also our most precious commodity. Water shortages in California, in Brazil and in many parts of the world highlights our need to save, protect and value Water. Nestle’s CEO says humans DO NOT Have the right to water!!!! Such arrogance, such demonic energy. If we don’t have water there is no food, and no nothing else. The fashion excesses of our modern cultural show how values {Venus} are totally askew. There is technology that can make water out of thin air literally. These technologies need to be funded and brought into public usage.

PSYCHOLOGICALLY

It will be easier to express and be receptive to emotions during this month. Water dissolves all hardness so both men and women will benefit from this. Tears will flow way more easily, so use these cleansing tears as a release. 

HOME

Do beautify your nest, put in a water feature, renovate a kitchen or bathroom or find a place you will love to call home. Go visit your Mom, sisters. Appreciate your “sisterhood.”  Volunteer to help a women’s shelter, raise money for homeless people, volunteer at a food bank, or become a big sister.

A few things to be sure to focus on with Mercury in VIRGO

1. HEALTH

Health is wealth and very important to Virgo. You are what you eat. Beneficial time to do a cleanse, especially as we are going into season change time. You will find it easier and more beneficial to stick to a healthier, more nutritious natural wholesome diet. There is more cognisance of the mind/body connection. Virgo is the harvest, the plants and herbs of the earth. Try using a homeopath, naturopath, Chinese acupuncture or ayurvedic specialist. Virgo is the body, always tune in and listen to your body as it never lies. 

2. WORK

Virgo’s are the workaholics of the Zodiac. They love to be of service and are traditionally the servants of the Zodiac. Questions to ponder with Mercury in Virgo. Are you working too much?  Are you too afraid to ask for a raise or speak up about your rights?  Are you truly loving your work? How can you master your work? Think about ways to reinvent your work environment and innovate new ideas in your work. If you are bored to tears then move on. 

3. SERVICE

Virgo’s need to feel they are being of service. Do you feel that your work and your gifts are being used in the right service? What is your higher purpose for serving? Whom do you serve? Are you being of service to your own body, your own environment? How can you improve this?

4. ORGANIZATION

Mercury in Virgo can help all of us, especially those who are neatness challenged to get their acts together. Gemini,  Pisces, Sagittarius- listen up. Virgo energy is perfectionist.
