Gemini and Virgo are both ruled by MERCURY also planning to go RETROGRADE AUGUST 30 in VIRGO at the very last degree. Mercury is very slow and powerful plodding along rather slothfully being turning Retro.

Retrogrades are good things and not to be feared as our minds need to rest and review. But a Mercury Retro in VIRGO will be rather hellish as Mercury is in his own sign of order, logic, OCD, accounting, health, work and worrying. Step back and review everything. 

Friday the GEMINI MOON true to its nature flits like a butterfly from a square to Chiron in Pisces to a Sextile to Uranus in Aries which triggers flight or flight energy OMG we’re not getting close to being vulnerable are we? and  how to find the fastest exit/excuse/ need to change the plans.

JUPITER has entered 27 degrees VIRGO and will square -a 90 degrees pressure point to the Galactic Center, at 27+ degrees SAGITTARIUS exactly. It’s one of my favorite and most powerful of spiritual and metaphysical spots.  Since Jupiter rules Sagittarius and PISCES, this makes this square particularly strong as Mercury and Venus are also drawn into the focus of the Galactic Centering.

Our minds and our values are interconnected with the source, the Cosmic Vagina as the Mayans revered it. It is a “black hole” of vast Galactic resources.

CHIRON the wounded healer has been opposite to JUPITER since AUGUST 12 and is now also drawn into the Galactic bridging of universes so that we may acquire a rainbow body and transmute our pain and suffering into galactic Bliss.  This is a necessary shamanic practice. A “Rainbow body” means your 7 chakras are open. This is a heavenly symbol of a bridge between worlds dimensions and understanding. Simply visualize and breathe into each chakra slowly one by one from root to crown to open up. Using a plain crystal is also advisable to open chakras.

Too much of a good thing? Inspirational Card of the day

When is a Grand Trine not Grand?
Astrology usually states that Trines, 120 angles between planets are beneficial and easy aspects. A Grand trine is when three planets form, what looks like a pyramid shape to each other. They can occur in any element, earth, fire, air and water.

A grand trine is like an all you can eat banquet.

Yesterday there was a sequence of Grand Water trines, involving Neptune, Jupiter and Chiron with the SCORPIO Moon. Water is emotions, Neptune rules illusion, addictions, dreams. Jupiter-… overdoes, magnifies, rules politics and laws. Chiron, the wounded healer makes us feel  vulnerable. Scorpio Moon rules the shadow, the underworld, psychology, death and rebirth. It is the most INTENSELY soulful emotional moon time there is. I usually try to be optimistic and point out the positives. As i did the other day.

But a GRAND WATER TRINE which includes the Moon in Scorpio, like the one we had yesterday { as opposed to moon in Cancer or Pisces } can also be TOO much of a good thing.

Too much UNCONSCIOUS emotion. Too many Pisces wounds, Too much Scorpionic Revenge mode. The unconscious wounds from Chiron in Pisces can come up from the muck of the depths,these may be totally of a past life origin repeating in this life and are amplified by Jupiter and make it easy for projection to run amuck.

Yes for a test of your awareness you could call it a grand opportunity to work on these issues.

DAEMONS

Wrestling with your daemons as the Ancient Greeks called it. Psychologist James Hillman wrote about your Daemon/demon/angel at length. LUCIFER/ SATAN was and is an angel. He never lost his status, just unplugged his connection to source heart consciousness and grew an ego.
LOL in that context we are all “unplugged” until we plug back into SOURCE /ALL THAT IS.

Cancer NEW MOON Serious EZY grand soul birth Astrology

Jupiter has been in Cancer for 13 days now. Jupiter is considered exalted in Cancer, expanding family, our emotions, our homes, fertility, women, children, food, water, basic primal needs for shelter, safety, security.

I’ve been feeling much calmer and more emotional, more in the body, haven’t you? Jupiter in Gemini for a year had my hyper. I’ve also been reminiscing and had  two good cries about my Mom and Dad who passed away in 2009 and 2011 respectively.

CANCER NEW MOON July 8 features SATURN turning Direct in SCORPIO + a GRAND TRINE

Retrograde since Feb 18, Saturn ends his trip from Hades, the Underworld, turning DIRECT 2 hours before the New Moon in Cancer in EDT. That aspect  happened Sunday night in PDT. Planets are extra STRONG as they turn direct.

When a planet changes direction it appears to be moving very slowly in the skies, often hovering at the same degree for weeks at a time. Saturn is reality, responsibility, maturity; in Scorpio it is death rebirth and transformation of the Psyche/the soul. We’ve all been below the surface collectively for this past time deep into our souls, into root causes, karmic causes in our intimate 8th house {Scorpio} of relationships, which are both personal and financial. Saturn in Scorpio is THE TAX MAN.

Saturn moving forward allows us to flush all the old stuck karmic contents for a deep soul cleansing and renewal that we’ve all been stewing in for the last 4.5 months.

4 candles, smudge or incense, 4 bowls of water, rose-water or rose petals if you have them, a journal.

READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST

This ceremony is to cleanse the stuck karmic emotions now. You can start on this Cancer New Moon and do it once or every day for 30 days. It may take that long to really carry out the change.s There are deeply embedded emotional and karmic patterns being released. True emotional freedom is waiting for you.

Water always symbolizes emotions and wealth. Set up a ceremonial space. Smudge yourself first. Always start with the East, FIRE, call in the direction and element, turn SOUTH and call in the spirit of water and the heart, turn WEST and call in the spirit of EARTH, the Goddesses, death and change, turn NORTH and call in the spiritus of AIR, learning.

Breathe and feel your emotions, your heart and your stomach, Cancer rules the stomach. Be with the feelings and the Unconscious or more conscious territory that you have been mining emotionally. Pot your fingers into each bowl of water and feel and sense your emotions being released and cleansed. Do this for as long as you need. Take your time. Tears may flow, that’s good. Allow yourself to release as many emotions as you can. After you are finished, take the rose water or rose petals and apply it to your chakras from the Crown 7th chakra down to the first.

Write in your journal, those old karmic patterns which you are releasing on the New Moon with ease.

Take the water and throw it outside if possible into the earth If not down the drain, but with prayers of intent. Always thank all the spirit elements and directions for being with you and release them back to their spaces as an end to the ceremony.

Check in with yourself regularly.

As you change, people around you will change, This is how you can gauge your own progress. Do this ritual daily if it feels right. You are being reborn, like a new babe.

GRAND Trines and how to use them to build those dreams

The Saturn Neptune TRINE in SCORPIO PISCES was exact June 11 with both planets RETROGRADE but its far from over. The aspect is ongoing, as the two have more exact Trines with JUPITER in CANCER joining in the magic making creating  a VERY GRAND TRINE on July 17 and then another SUPER HOT GRAND TRINE with MARS in CANCER too, on July 20 one degree earlier at 4+ PISCES/SCORPIO.

SATURN TURNS DIRECT on JULY 7th

So this dream building  energy will change at the next TRINE, EXPAND monumentally with JUPITER and Saturn going direct and then MARS firing it all up. 

Now its time to do all the RETROGRADE dream building stuff,what I call the RE- thing. Review, rebuild, rewind, reflect, refinance, relegate, etc.

It’s a world cleans and the mother earth needs it. Mars and Jupiter entering the womb means the Masculine sky God- Jupiter/Zeus/Yahweh will be immersed in the cauldron of the Great Mother.

A word of caution about GRAND TRINES

The astrology cookbook on Grand Trines is that they are an easy  beneficial blending of two or more planets. They can’t be taken for granted though. You have to help make ’em work. Midwife them. It depends on which planets, what signs they occupy and how they are affecting you in your personal chart. Too much of a good thing may not be that great either. For example JUPITER in a water sign makes people put on weight.

4th house is home, womb, mom, unconscious, instincts, emotional security, the stomach, endings, roots, real estate, birth, nurturing,nourishment

I had an amazing dream year ago. PISCES is all about THE DREAM

This LUCID dream occurred in the early 90’s.

In it I went to visit my first cousin Carol Karasik, she is a writer who used to live in Washington D.C. I was walking through the street and went to her house, it was full of beautiful old antiques. This was a dream house, not her actual one. I walked through the house, but she wasn’t there. I sat down in front of a TV set and turned it on. It is very rare to be watching TV in dreams because it is another level of visioning, at least for me. I was watching a show on MTV and it showed Bette Midler wearing black, singing and dancing.

In the next scene Andy Warhol is lying on a bed, sort of catatonic. Bette gets into bed with him and makes love to him and they exchange sexes. She becomes Andy and Andy becomes her. Then Andy/Bette  gets up and walks out through a wall.

The 3rd scene in the play is Bette Midler wearing a black tux, top hat and tails like in the old 1930’s movie musicals. She has a chorus of women also  dressed in  black behind and around her. It is a courtroom with a judge on a stand and a jury.  Bette Midler sings and then says “I stand before you to plead my case” .. There is  a pause, it seems the jury has to decide her fate.

The next scene is Bette Midler dressed in white smiling and beaming saying I WIN! Trumpets sound and  everyone is dancing around. And then the narrator appears and says Bette Midler don’t you just love her?” It was a LUCID dream and I felt elated. I’d passed my own judgement day and won.

I wish for YOU to feel the same elation.

AND all this PISCES energy will ebb and flow away momentarily, later that same day!

Hugo Chavez, dictator or socialist leader,Astrology tell all

I find it fascinating to look into a public figure’s astrology,I seem to do quite a lot of these obituary readings.

Chavez rule was characterized as being extreme. He was popularly voted for and was no dictator, most Venezuelan’s lives benefitted greatly from Chavez’s rule. What’s the problem with that?  He is hated just because he socialized and nationalized his own countries resources? We should do that in Canada.

He is loved and hated in equal measure. Not bowing down to U.S. supremacy, Chavez was a leftist socialist pragmatic idealist, with strong ties to Cuba, and  Bolivia, he accomplished a Herculean task for the ordinary Venezuelan citizen in his 13 years at leader.

When elected in 1999 he called a public referendum with indigenous tribal groups to rewrite the Nation’s constitution.Something pretty unheard of in the world.

The country was renamed the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in honor of Simon Bolivar.

At the beginning of 2000 Venezuela was the 5th largest Oil producing country in the world. since Chavez took office the state nationalized more than 50% of the oil companies in Venezuela.

He criticized the U.S. policy on Terrorism. After 9/11 Chávez showed pictures of Afghan children killed in a bomb attack on his own local television show. He commented that “They are not to blame for the terrorism of Osama Bin Laden or anyone else”, and called on the American government to end “the massacre of the innocents. Terrorism cannot be fought with terrorism.”  These remarks were widely publicized and made him into a popular American enemy. He was only telling the truth.

Chavez did not ruin the Venezuelan economy. He was not a dictator. That is lies spread by American media who want Venezuela’s oil rights back. He was a total populist leader who instituted fraud proof modern voting.

IN 2002 there were mass rallies against his regime. In spite of shutting down tv stations that opposed him and cozying up to certain despots, Chavez tempered down his policies in response.

Despite these criticisms, . Under the Chávez presidency, rates of poverty in Venezuela were slashed; education, public infrastructure and health services were dramatically improved; the economy improved and unemployment declined rapidly. Infant mortality rate declined. 22 state universities were built. The GNI went from $3,763 in 1999 and by 2011 it had risen to $11,820. a three-fold growth per-capita wealth in the space of 12 years is amazing. No country on earth has ever amassed a better life for her people in such a short period.

I don’t have an exact birth time but use Noon for  a public figure. Chavez was born in a small town to a working class family.
