I made a vow in 1992 during a weekend all women’s shamanic retreat with Oriah Mountain Dreamer at a retreat center in Caledon, that I would work with women teaching them about the beauty and power of their Periods. I had a very powerful experience while on my period and leaning on a tree that was a huge epiphany for me. This was after a weekend of intense ceremony. I announced that vow at the end of the weekend in front of about 30 women.  I have done some work around this through workshops, writing and telling women about this but I am feeling the need to write a book and to do more. Perhaps an e-book as I am currently juggling about 3 books to be finished.
