The 1st woman champion of the Olympics was Cynisca, A Spartan woman who won the four-horse chariot race twice, in 396 and 392 BC. YULE is one of the four major gateways in the 8 spoked circle of the Pagan/ Druid year.
It’s CAPRICORN time. Ruled by Saturn, the planet/God of Time, testing, maturity, old age. The ancient Romans celebrated this tradition as the Saturnalia. A time of revelry, when slaves were free and became the masters, everyone was celebrating the Return of the Light, the King, in infant form. The Christians overlaid the story of Jesus onto the ancient worship. Everything we associate with Christmas are ancient pagan symbols -the holly, the mistletoe, the Yule log, the tree.
Paganism is the fastest growing “religion” in the U.K. and the U.S. Actually it is not an organized religion at all per se, it is a practice of spiritual immanence with Nature, the Goddess and the God, with All That Is. Paganism is more of a group spirituality which can be practiced alone. It has nothing to do with devil worship. The popularity of Harry Potter has also certainly brought back its popularity. Pagans worship nature, Druids worshipped trees.
So it’s Capricorn time. The sun is on the Tropic of Capricorn 23.26 degrees South of the Equator. The Tropic Of Capricorn has many countries worldwide which it runs through. Five in Africa, North of Alice Springs, Queensland, Australia, and four countries in Brasil.
YULE pronounced EWE-elle is the name for the shortest day of Light in the Year, the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. It is when the dark half of the year dies to the light half. Starting the next morning at sunrise, the sun climbs just a little higher and stays a little longer in the sky each day. Known as Solstice Night, or the longest night of the year, the sun’s “rebirth” was celebrated with much joy. Our ancestors celebrated the rebirth of the Oak King, the Sun King, giver of Life. From this day forward, the days would become longer. As the people participated in the mystique of the turning of the wheel of Life, their participation and prayers to honour this propitious time was all important. For if the Goddess did not bring rebirth to her Son the sun, and the Sun’s Light did not return then that signalled the death of all life on the earth.
Bonfires were lit in the fields, and crops and trees were ‘wassailed” with toasts of spiced cider. Children were escorted from house to house with gifts of clove spiked apples and oranges which were laid in baskets of evergreen boughs and wheat stalks dusted with flour. Apples and oranges represented the sun. The boughs symbolized immortality (evergreens were sacred to the Celts who worshipped trees because they did not “die” thereby representing the eternal aspect of the Divine). The wheat stalks portrayed the harvest, and the flour was the accomplishment of triumph, light, and life. Holly and ivy not only decorated the outside but also the inside of homes, in hopes Nature Sprites would come and join the celebration. A sprig of Holly was kept near the door all year long as a constant invitation for good fortune to visit the residents. Mistletoe was also hung as decoration. It represented the seed of the Divine, and at Midwinter, the Druids would travel deep into the forest to harvest it.
The ceremonial Yule log was the highlight of the Solstice festival. Traditionally, the log must either have been harvested from the householder’s land or given as a gift… it must never have been bought. Once dragged into the house and placed in the fireplace it was decorated in seasonal greenery, doused with cider or ale, and dusted with flour before setting ablaze by a piece of last years log, (held onto for just this purpose). The log would burn throughout the night, then smolder for 12 days after before being ceremonially put out. Ash is the traditional wood of the Yule log. It is the sacred world tree of the Teutons, known as Yggdrasil. An herb of the Sun, Ash brings light into the hearth at the Solstice. The World Tree, Yggdrasil is the one in which ODEN is suspended from in the tarot Image of the HANGED MAN. This is where the Nordic RUNES came from.

The Sun is in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius indicating that this is a rare and revolutionary “bolt out of the blue” occasion to change and radically grow intellectually. Brilliant, unusual insights into our mind/body/emotions is what’s happening at this Full Moon. It may radically free and change us and humanity’s consciousness.
The Water Bearer, the 11th sign, is an Air sign. Aquarius’s symbol shows higher consciousness as the stars as the waters of life. The Star in the Tarot, the 17th Trump card shows this energy of the Goddess as the Stars, as cosmic vessels of divine light flowing down to the earth to quench our human cosmic desire to be connected with source.
We are bringing to light and completing lessons about our Light, ego, and sharing our riches, self-expression, our childlike ability to play, our passions and dramas, our leadership, our roles, our hearts, our abilities to share power and our higher consciousness where we are all in fact ONE.

MEDITATION for the rare Blue Moon
If you’ve been doing previous Full Moon meditations gather the four candles, color related items and incense.
We are connecting with AIR and the stars. The Full Moon occurs in the middle of the night Pacific Time. Imagine you are under the Stars at night.
Smudge yourself first, cleanse the area you are in. Center yourself and BREATHE. Aquarius is AIR.
Light your four candles one by one starting in the East for fire, this is the cosmological system I use but if you are pagan you begin in the South with Fire. Always move clockwise, wherever you start. Call in the four elements and directions. Call in the Holy Guardian Angels and your own and the Angel of this Moon, Umabel {oomabell}.

With your eyes open or closed look up into the vault of Heaven and see the sky filled with thousands of stars. Each star represents an ancestor watching over you. Every person is connected with a star. Seek out a star that attracts your attention. In your mind’s eye travel out from your crown chakra at the top of your head to this star. When you reach this Star you will have a higher perspective. Look back at the earth, a tiny blue planet on which seven billion individuals co-habit. See how tiny your issues are when faced with the vast expanse of Space.
From this higher perspective it is easy to detach from any emotions, people and situations that have been keeping you feeling stuck, stagnant or blind. Sense the freedom! The E.F.T. emotional freedom technique or Tapping, can be brought in and used if you know it. Know that you are a pecious individual and always a Star in your own right.
Now connect with the spiritual consciousness of the specific star. You don’t have to know which star it is. Open your mind to a new adventure, a new learning curve. See, feel or sense the Soul of the Star, the Guardian of it, its essence. Ask its permission to speak with you. Open up to dialogue with it. You will have an extraordinary experience if you seek, ask and open your mind. You are always safe and protected.
Ask the Soul Star what your higher mission is if you don’t already know it or are seeking clarity. Be patient, wait. The Star, just like the Tarot trump’s mission is to pour down cosmic wisdom.
All you have to do is ask, be open and receive. Always give thanks and be grateful for the information, new ideas and breakthrough consciousness you will experience. Many inventions are triggered from these stellar interactions. From your Starry perspective make a Fixed vow that you will follow through and earth that new experience, energy, invention and freedom which you have received. Bring your consciousness back down to earth and know that you can connect yourself anytime you wish to the Star and make wishes on it too.
Slowly come out of your meditation. Look up at the Stars. Write down or record your experience on your tablet, phone or other device. Make an 8 point action plan to manifest your new consciousness.
You can keep doing this meditation daily and I would recommend it until the next New Moon in Leo August 14.

It is Friday night, it is the day of the Sabbath for the Jewish People.
What came to me was the Shekinah, the Feminine Face of God, the Females aspect of the LIGHT. Her Divine presence whispering to me. I should be asleep. But I cant sleep. I have to offer my services to you and to the world.
As the Divine Feminine She is the Great Mother pouring out unconditional love, nurturing and protection for all of her children. Originally we were and are still are all of Her children. She is Gods right hand side and She descends to earth every Sabbath to protect, comfort and embody the Light for those who praise honor and welcome Her presence.

The word God in English from Genesis 1:1 is translated from the Hebrew word Elohim. Elohim is plural and includes both masculine and feminine. There is only ONE God/Goddess, they have both aspects in One. The Shekinah is the Divine Feminine aspect of the Elohim. Islam is also based on the Hebrew and Christian tradition. Any religion which does not honor the Feminine half of God is half way to being atheism.
Her names mean indwelling. She has other names. Stella Maris – I had a dream about a boat on the ocean with the name Stella Maris in Golden letters. She is Mother Mary to the Christians, the Woman of Light. Reminded me of Paul McCartney’s beautiful prayer song LET IT BE. See below. He names his daughter Stella. It means Stars, She is the Lady of the Stars. She could also be seen as Mary Magdalene or the Holy Grail.
We use the prefix SHE to denote women, it is a sacred prefix, from the Shekinah. She is the way we experience the Goddess in our every day lives. Her name is identified with the final Heh of God’s name YHVH. She is the primordial ground of life.
In the Kabbalah, on the Tree of Life, she is said to be the daughter of the Supernal Mother Binah, #3 or the Empress in the Tarot, who means Understanding or Wisdom. She is known as Sophia to the Greeks. The Shekinah is designated to Malkuth on the Tree of Life, the earthly sphere. Symbolizing all the disks, or clubs, roots of trees. The number 10.
The Shekinah is associated with speech and prayers.I send prayers through the Divine Goddess of Love and Light presence to the earth to ALL her children. Jews, Christians, Muslims, atheists, Indigenous peoples all alike.
