December 23/24 a strange and unusual Christmas occurs on the 23rd at 11:17 pm PST/ December 24 at 2:17 am EST/ 7:17 am GMT so expect a chaotic wake-up call for Christmas. People will be celebrating in unusual ways and of course in cyberspace again not in real-time.

Sagittarius New Moon is one of the most optimistic Moons of the entire year. It’s the sign of faith, hope and good humor. We need these qualities when we are at the darkest time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere when the nights are longest and we are approaching the shortest daylight. Sagittarius helps us to regain our passion for truth, justice, learning and far off adventures. 

The North and South Nodes square the Sun, the Light, the life force, our consciousness, the masculine active force and the Moon, equal partner of the sun, the feminine, reflective, mysterious, intuitive,fertile. Virgo is accountable, health, the land, food, digestion, the economy, and our communities and pets. We need to let go of that which does not serve the land or the waters of Neptune. We need to stop using fossil fuels and oil. The recent Dakota Access Pipeline protests perfectly illustrate this crux.  We need to let go of the junk food, the GMO’s the denial, the bling, the illusions, the false highs. We need to choose a very simple, humble lifestyle and work that serves to help our communities, and the whole.

LILITH in SCORPIO has the powers of rebirth, death, change, and empowerment. LILITH sextile VENUS, square Mars can help women, or anyone feeling angry, defiant and who refuses to accept being bullied, establish some grounding and empowerment in their world. The inconjunct or quincunx indicates we need to be careful how we integrate and combine these forces and elements which don’t naturally work well together.  

URANUS CERES And ERIS are conspiring for change, revolution and freedom. Ceres is the earth mother and we need to use new technologies, Uranian innovation to  preserve the earth’s resources and bring equality to all.  ERIS is the Goddess of discord, and we will be living in times of discord, disruption, and protests.  These planets symbolize the Anarchists, hackers, and those who disturb the status quo. Ironically this is what Donald Trump is doing too. By disrupting the corporate cabal, he is creating a revolution although it is especially strange because its ultra -conservative and dangerously alt-right. We must stay vigilant against these dangeorus forces.

We will need to be diplomatic and try to find the middle path, the middle way. VENUS and PLUTO bring wealth, new values, and an end to old corporate cabals.

The energy is about radicalism, freedom, inventiveness, pioneering, resisting the status quo. Be yourself, forge your own path. Mars in Aquarius is individualism and whats good for me is good for everyone. Don’t give up the fight.

When these planets are OOB they are unpredictable, unbounded, pirates, anarchists. VENUS is O.O.B. until December 3rd, MERCURY is OOB from November 18- Dec. 17.  Get out of your head and  listen to your heart to live in a new way. We will overcome all adversity.

I keep thinking about and riffing on Mars in Libra and Venus in Capricorn both doing U Turns soon and into 2014.

Mars in Libra  from December  7- July 25 2014. 

MARS rules ARIES. The RAM symbol. The 1st sign and house. Mars keyword is the “I AM” principle.

The Ram’s head was related to the Age of Aries when the Spring Equinox was aligned with Zero degrees of Aries,when the Jewish Patriarchal religion, whose symbol is the RAM’s horns, began 4,000 years ago. The Age of Christ, Pisces started 2,000 years ago. The Matriarchal, Goddess loving Age of Taurus, when the Bull was worshipped was 6,000 plus years ago. Everything is based on Astrology/Astronomy.

Mars is the male sex. Mars is “ACTION.”  Can’t you hear the director shouting it out as the scene begins? We are all actors on the stage.

Mars also rules Scorpio the 8th house/sign. The key word for Scorpio is “I DESIRE.” Red is his colour.

LEARN ASTROLOGY TERMS

These are ancient terms to describe a planets DIGNITY or power.Planets can be Dignified,  in detriment, exalted or fall.

A planet is Dignified in the sign it rules, is at home, in its glory, its fullest and easiest expression. It’s in control.

Detriment means when a planet is in the sign opposite the one it rules. Mars in Libra for example.

Exalted means the planet is harmoniously expressing its powers in a sign other than the one it rules.Like being a BBF’s home.

Fallen mean a planet  is opposite to the one it is exalted in. It can’t show its true nature. It’s not comfortable.

Heck, a planet can be accidentally dignified. A great term. 

Venus rules LIBRA. Mars’ opposite Sign. Libra, The SCALES of JUSTICE. Karma,  # 8 or # 11 in the Tarot. Libra is the 7th house and sign.

Definitely some GENDER BENDER issues coming up from this. More gay rights equality in 2014.

Libra’s keyword is “I BALANCE.” but its all about “others.” “US”  coupling, togetherness, romance, relationships. Green is Venus’s colour.

The Divine Feminine Goddess Archetype is returning and both women and men need to listen to Her wisdom in your daily life. She exists in a multitude of  forms. In your astrology chartshe is  represented by  4 main asteroid Goddess, Ceres/Demeter to the Greeks,  Athena, Vesta and Juno/Hera in Roman, as Lilith the Dark Moon Goddess she is like Kali the destructive one,and as  Eris the newly discovered minor planet of Discord. LILITH- the First Woman, pre Eve, NATURE herself , the rejected independent destroying Goddess, has returned to bring us lessons about respecting women or enduring her fury. She has been prominent in the last year as she’s been dancing cheek to cheek with Jupiter in Cancer, Notice lots of flooding in the world?

The past NEW MOON in Leo Aug 6 had Jupiter conjunct Lillith in Cancer and Athena goddess of war and wisdom also flanking  Jupiter with CERES the MOther goddess archetype nearby in Leo.

VESTA, the Goddess of focus, divine service and sexual healing,  was exactly conjunct the Sun and Moon. JUNO the Goddess of marriage,partnership and commitment  was opposite Vesta in Aquarius. Career or family dilemma’s?

The Goddess is known by  hundreds of names and attributes. She was and is the original human and spiritual connection for every human who  ever lived. We are all born of woman. SHE has been dormant for the last 5,000 years as Patriarchy moved in and took over religion society and culture of the world and sought to suppress HER.  Goddess worshippers were forced to go underground as the Catholic Church tortured and burned nine million mainly women, children and men they suspected of being “witches” which meant Goddess worshippers, pagans,  midwives, herbalists, or any old women whose property the Church wanted, for over 300 years in Europe and in America.

I remember being burned at the stake with my husband and two children watching me. It was horrible. Most people alive today have reincarnated and unconsciously remember their torture and the hate crimes inflicted by the Church on them. That is why they have largely turned away from the church’s doctrine and practice freedom from organized religion and  tolerance for gays. Doing so means we are spiritually evolving from the past. As Demetra George pointed out in her groundbreaking book Asteroid Goddesses, the Goddess went into her own DARK MOON phase, where she removed Herself from consciousness for the last two precession’s of  Constellation cycles, from Taurus the Age of Bull Worship, to Aries the worship of the Ram- the Jewish people’s symbol, to Pisces in the last 2,000 years, Christs’ symbol is the fish.

We need to understand their Feminine strengths, powers and how they affect us personally.  Most people are just learning about them in  astrology. CERES the Great Mother in LEO also shows us the way to honour the LIGHT,the Source, that we all have. We all came from Heaven it was called our mother’s body. CERES  is nurturing, home, food, the Mother sacrificing for her daughter/children.

JUNO opposite that,is the wife of Zeus {Hera} who he constantly betrayed and cheated on.  As such she is till unconsciously angry and her anger needs to be brought into out hearts {LEO} honored, and made whole, healed and become confident again.
