If you were watching The Grammy Awards Feb 8 with millions of viewers, you, me and everyone in the audience’s jaws dropped as Beck was awarded Album of the Year for “Morning Phase” and Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Everyone expected Beyonce or Taylor Swift or Sam Smith to win. Kanye pranked Beck by jumping on stage pretending to protest the win like he did infamously with Taylor Swift. That look on Jay-Z’s face was priceless.
For those under 18, Beck Hansen has written and performed his eclectic blend of music since the early 90’s. He has had been awarded 5 Grammy’s from 16 nominations. He comes from an eclectic family, his Mother was an Andy Warhol superstar and his grandfather one of the Fluxus art movement founders. Let’s check out Beck’s chart as I just wanted to point out why,beside his awesome talent and dedication he won this Surprise Grammy award now.
Beck is a Cancer born July 8 1970 in Los Angeles at 11:59 pm. He is a triple Cancer with Mercury and Mars conjunct to the Sun in the 4th house which the Moon rules. He is a very shy private person, very sensitive, emotional, tender. He is a nurturing man, and probably has sensitive tummy issues.

Beck is having the URANUS- SURPRISE! transit to his Sun with Pluto opposite his Cancer Sun- big power and corporate recognition. Neptune has also been transiting his North Node in 2014 when the album came out. He is creatively and spiritually at a peak now.
Saturn in Sagittarius is also Squaring his North Node. This is karmic reward time for his hard work and the maturation {Saturn} is his creative inspiration.
Saturn has also just crossed his Neptune in November 2014. His Neptune in his 8th house is rewards from other people. Saturn conjunct Neptune is physical, reality, rewards for working on your creativity and dreams. Saturn will backtrack in the summer and conjunct his Neptune again in the summer of 2015.
