Mercury Turns Retrograde May 29 at 3:33 pm PDT/6:33 pm EDT 11:33 pm GMT at 24 Gemini. And it will make your life a living hell for a few weeks. Especially in Gemini.

Do not fear or dread Mercury Retrograde. I was just kidding. This popular nonsense about Mercury Retrograde being hellish, horrible and time to lock yourself away until it’s all over is all misguided and overwrought. It would be good to do a social media break though.

Mercury is also known as Hermes the Olympian messenger god of commerce, thieves, travelers, sports, athletes, and border crossings, fish, wits, gamblers, and guide to the Underworld. He is the only God who is allowed to travel into the Upper Worlds of Heaven and the Lower Worlds of Hades or Hell. He is also a hermaphrodite, a dual sexed symbol of our brain itself which has a right and left hemisphere. Mercury is considered to be The TRICKSTER, a shape-shifter, and shaman.  Mercury is based on the ancient Egyptian God Anubis who also carries a serpent wand. Mercury is THOTH the scribe.

The Main thing to do when Mercury is Retrograde is RELAX.

Yes, the rule is not to start anything new because we time and communication are in a regressive moving backwards, review phase.  Everyone needs time to pause, reset, renew, review, repair, rewind, rescind, regard, regress, relent, etc. etc. 

Just chill. Expect that communications will go awry and redouble your efforts to manage this. Yes, even Amazon packages may get lost. Many things will get lost in translation. Expect communications snafus and you won’t be disappointed. But it’s not the end of the world. Do take this Mercury Retrograde as a chance to give your overwrought mind a rest. It desperately needs it.

 Mercury moves Retrograde on average about 1/3 of the year. We need to sleep 8 hours a day which is also 1/3 of our entire lives.  Nature always does everything in balance. Even though Mercury Retrograde is an apparent illusion, it appears real and the planets are also symbolic indicators for us to take our cues from. Mercury Retrograde is a natural time to rest whenever it occurs. All you drilled in non-stop worker drones need to chill.

Make Mercury Retrograde work for you by playing by the rules of doing everything that has the prefix Re. Mercury Retrograde’s symbol is Rx it is good medicine.

A princess is born Astrology

May 2 2015 a Princess was born to Duchess Kate and Prince William at 8:34 a.m. London U.K.

She is a Number 6 in Numerology with her “Destiny year” being in 2022 when she will be only seven years old.  The symbol of the sacred marriage and the 6 pointed Star. She has a Gemini overtone which is born out in her Astrology. 

 I had predicted a Princess waaaay back when. As was Court fashion, the Court Astrologer would predict the character and future of the New royal.

The chart has a number of Fixed Stars as well as the Asteroid DIANA for her Grandmother in it. I will look at  the stand alone chart then compare to Mom and Dad.

A solid strong 8 pound 3 oz. earthy sensuous Fixed nature Taurus baby girl with the Sun in the 11th house which makes her  a rather unconventional Aqaurian-like Taurus. She will want to be on a level playing field with the people. She is ruled by Venus which is in Gemini right now and in her Natal 12th house. She may be rather chatty, immature, curious, charming and unconscious of her beauty.

The princess is born with VENUS OUT OF BOUNDS. This is very significant because this makes her an unconventional person.  She will be a hard child and woman to deal with as she is extremely stubborn.

Her Moon which symbolizes her mother Kate, is in Libra in the 5th house of creativity, leadership, love affairs! and passion. She sees her mother as a beautiful, charming, strong, people pleasing woman. Moon in Libra will give the Princess beauty like her mother and Grandmother Princess Diana. She will have a flair for  art and fashion, with finer tastes in everything. Charming, flirtatious, a people pleasing Princess. She will be known for her ambassadorial skills and her flair for legal matters. But it will be hard for her to decide what she wants.

With Mercury at 1 degree Gemini in the 12th house and opposite a Retrograde Saturn in Sagittarius in the 6th house. The Princess may appear to be a slow talker. She will be a serious thinker who would be analyzing things quite precociously at a very young age.  Her parents may not know what she is thinking. She will find it hard to make up her mind and get easily frustrated and be prone to temper tantrums. Dad {Saturn} will be able to balance her out. She may find the duties of being a Princess Royal very boring and escape into a fantasy world with Neptune squaring Saturn. She will have a rich artistic imagination. She may have a difficult time accepting reality.

Neptune in the 10th house makes it natural for her to want to be a charitable leader which will be part of her role in public life. She is compassionate, kind and self-sacrificing and will love animals, with Saturn in Sagittarius, they will definitely need to get her a kitten or puppy or pony. She will be very sensitive to any drugs or medication and may have allergies.  

She has Mars in Taurus in the 12th house conjunct Algol

This is one of the heaviest, nastiest stars in the Heavens. Algol symbolizes the gorgon Medusa, who was originally extremely beautiful and an Amazing warrioress. Mars is debilitated and this could present itself as her being extremely stubborn. She can be prone to having nightmares, fears, phobias, and health problems. The first atom bomb had Mars on Algol! Mars is her drive, passion and defenses. It is close to Eros in the 12th house she may have many secret love affairs.

Fixed Star expert Bernadette Brady says his about Algol: “Algol represents a strong consuming passion that may devour you with anger and rage. If one can contain an unconscious compulsion to take revenge, and from that passion return a more productive outcome, Algol is one of the most powerful stars in the sky. Whatever planet it affects in your chart will be charged with strong, intense sexual energy that has the potential to be wonderful, of if repressed, to lead to rage or violence.”She has a lot of repressed energy bottled up in her unconscious. As Algol is also opposite Saturn she is carrying some heavy past life karma related to Prince William, and the royal house. Saturn is ancestry. 

Jupiter the planet of Royalty is suitably in LEO in the 3rd house of communications conjunct to asteroid Juno. She will be an exceptionally smart woman. Juno symbolizes Feminine genius as well as the Traditional “perfect wife” image. She will have a big heart and  a childlike passion her whole life. She can be vain spoiled and self-centered and very demanding with Jupiter square her Sun.

Saturn is Retrograde in Sagittarius and she will love horses and may be a champion rider when she gets older. She may have some health issues as the 6th house is the house of ill-health. Mercury rules the lungs and Pisces rules circulation in general.  Saturn Retrograde also indicates to me that she will have to be severely restricted almost broken to comply with Royal rules which she will hate. She will most likely abdicate her royal title. 

URANUS is in ARIES in the 11th house opposite her Moon and square Pluto Retrograde in the 7th house of marriage. She will be an unconventional free thinking independent woman with a strong desire to change the world. She will balk at restrictions and duty. She will want to be free to live and love her own way. 

Chiron the wounded healer in Pisces in the 10th house of world fame is square to Venus in Gemini. She will talk- a lot in public and be a very self-sacrificing person.She will be very spiritual in her own way. 

She has LILITH at 17 degrees Virgo opposite Chiron in Pisces and square to Asteroid DIANA, I couldn’t help I had to put it in their out of curiosity. Diana is also conjunct to the Princess’s Natal Venus in the 12th. I would consider this symbolic of Diana’s literally being reborn and being  embodied in this child. She will talk like her dead grandmother and have the same mannerisms. She will be extremely psychic and could be prophetic, very sensitive and very independent.  She could have difficultly with her digestion and refuse to follow orders. 

The Princesses’ IC or roots of her chart is at 1 degree of Virgo. Very close to the ZERO degrees Virgo mark of the Royal Star REGULUS, the traditional star of Kings and Queens which is now in earthy, being of service to the people, Feminine Virgo. Her MC or highest career Goal is PISCES. She will have a constructed public person, an image which she will be forced to carry, it is square Saturn in Sagittarius. 

A very powerful little blue-blood has been born today. We will have to see how she lives her destiny.
