It was on this day February 22, 1979- 39 years ago!!!! that I experienced my first real physical enlightening awakening. I had witnesses who experienced something similar.

The actual backstory of my Star Bird sighting experience  

The Star Bird is an actual steller messenger, a harbinger of Hope, Peace, Love, Unity, Infinity consciousness. I personally witnessed and experienced the Spirit Eagle/Dove of Light on Feb. 22 1979 in Isla Mujeres Mexico in the Yucatan with two other people, a woman who I had just met who was a German woman a spiritual seeker, a follower of Bhagwan Rajneesh, later known as Osho and my fiancee/ now ex.   

The backstory is we were all totally sober, no drugs, no alcohol of any kind on that fateful night Feb 22, 1979.  I didn’t know that Isla Mujeres which means Island of Women in Spanish actually had a Goddess Temple located on it. I was told the pirates used to keep their women captives on this island, hence the name. The German woman whose name I only knew as Gila which is a spiritual name for a devotee of Baghwan was enroute to see Maria Sabina a famed psychic shaman healer who used magic mushrooms as part of her prophesying. Gila was going to ask the oracle whether she should leave her husband and two children in Germany to devote herself to a spiritual life. My fiancee Larry and I had gone to Mexico at my insistance to see if we could travel together first and I directed us to go to Isla Mujeres which I had visited a year before. Gila Larry and I had met at a restaurant and started talking. I suggested going down to the beach to see if we can see any falling stars. I love to watch falling stars.  Standing on the sand gazing out at the ocean  Gila is on my left and Larry on my right. I don’t remember which one of us saw it, either Larry or myself said Look there’s one, there’s a falling star.

If you’ve ever seen a star falling, you will know that they aren’t stars but actually they are meteorites which come into the earth’s atmosphere and usually get totally burned up. Many tiny fragments of meteorites or tektites are scaterred on the earth’ surface, rare larger ones are very valuable and sought out by collectors.

So to our collective left we see the star doing it’s usual arch across the sky, usually we see a “falling star” lasting a second or two in our field of vision as they usually burn out rather quickly. This “falling star” went across the sky covering about 45 degrees then STOPPED. So we saw a star in fast motion arch across the night sky and come to a full stop! What? The star looking like a very bright clear large star against the backdrop off other distant stars, began to wobble, and began to get slightly larger. I have recently compared notes with my ex-husband about what we saw on that night and he agreed with me on almost every detail in our retelling of our experience.  
I distinctly remember that the star then turned left and made a downward curved motion then curved around and came back to the central point, paused for a moment then moved to the lower right then wheeled up and made a curved higher turn back to the center again from where it started. The star described a perfect INFINITY SYMBOL, or lemnescate.

The Star Bird is also similar to Quetzalcoatl who was both a human man and a divine being, a Christ-like figure who preached peace in Mexico, his return is part of the Mayan prophesies.

Wherever you are on February 22nd in the world please take the timeout at 2:22 pm at your Local time. If this time is not possible as it is a working day, I then propose 11:11 pm in your local time zone as the optimum time to meditate. 

I feel its more important for people to meditate on receiving the Star bird energies at all times rather than I specific time.

Nirvana Day, Libra moon, cardinal crosses

I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s day. 

FEB 15 is known as NIRVANA DAY. Not the grunge band with Kurt Cobain, it is sacred to Buddhists and Hindu‘s.

What is NIRVANA? In Buddhism, it is a transcendent state where there is no suffering, or desires, and no ego or sense of self. Once reaching that state of awareness, one is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. It represents the final goal of Buddhism.

In Indian religions, nirvana is synonymous with moksha. In Vedic culture, moksha conveys a notion of immortality, and also of a timeless, “unborn”, or “the still point of the turning world of time”.  It also means a timeless structure, the whole underlying “the spokes of the invariable but incessant wheel of time”.  The hope for life after death started with notions of going to the worlds of the Fathers or Ancestors and/or the world of the Gods or Heaven and liberation.  All Indian religions assert Nirvana to be a state of perfect quietude, freedom, highest happiness and along with it, the liberation from samsara, the repeating cycle of birth, life and death.

Buddhism is not a belief system, it is a practice that enables us to stop struggling and to be liberated.

Nirvana is no place

The various schools of Buddhism understand nirvana in different ways, but they generally agree that nirvana is not a place. It is more a state of existence. The Buddha said that anything we might say or imagine about nirvana will be wrong, because it is utterly different from our ordinary existence. Nirvana is beyond space, time, and definition, and so language is by definition inadequate to discuss it. It can only be experienced. Samsara or illusion is a process of creating places, even whole worlds, (and then wandering through them, the Buddhists call this, birth. Nirvana is the end of this process of mind forms.

There are two types of Nirvana.  One type describes a living enlightened being, or arahant. The arahant is still conscious of pleasure and pain, but he or she is no longer bound to them. The second type is final,complete Nibbana or Nirvana that is “entered” at death. The Buddha taught that this state is neither existence because that which can be said to exist is limited to time and space-nor non-existence. This seeming paradox is because ordinary language attempts to describe a state of being that is indescribable. 

Mahayana Buddhism and Nirvana

One of the distinguishing characteristics of Mahayana Buddhism is the bodhisattva vow. This is something I have taken many times. Mahayana Buddhists are dedicated to the ultimate enlightenment of all beings, and thus choose to remain in the world in assistance to others rather than move on to individual enlightenment. 

On the apparent real levels;

The LIBRA MOON of fairness and balance, and hopefully some peace lines us up with those CARDINAL CROSSESS again. Which we feel and know yet they are also an illusion but a symbol and guidmap. 

The Moon is conjunct PLUTO at 2:58 am EST, opposes Uranus and conjuncts JUPITER all before noon in PST and EST. That’s the feel-good transit. Don’t get too overly optimistic though.

Pumped up kicks, March Astrology preview

Hi I am under the weather and behind in two important writing deadlines. So I tried something new. I shot a spoken word video on my crummy old cell phone. I don’t believe in Brands so Goddess forbid I should ever get an iphone. Anyways after a few tries and in much March winds kinda haste I felt I had to get this out. I will fill in as I can.

The BIGGIES: MARCH comes in like a lion and it’s HUGE in evolutionary intensity

The 7th and last of the URANUS PLUTO exact Squares is on March 16-17 with both planets moving DIRECT which neither have done at the same time since the entire square dance. So its full speed ahead now. The 7th chakra is the thousand petalled lotus. It’s the 7th chakra awakening. A full kundalini global awakening from our sleep as humans without full consciousness. We must be meditating globally on this date and at the exact time. 7:53 p.m. PDT/ 10:53 pm /2:53 a.m. on March 17 GMT.

Enlightenment may be at hand. Before you throw your hat in the air shouting YAY that’s it it’s all over. This is not the end of the big changes but only the beginning. We’ve just had out chakra pipes pumped to be flushed open and ready for action.

Venus and Mars join the dance kicking everyone to the curb on March 4 and the 11th respectively to bring Women and Men into this revolution. Scorpio Moon, 50 shades of pain

Feb 10 The Moon is in the Scorpio sector. 50 shades of emotions, Sex, power.

In my chart that means that the Moon is travelling through my 12th and most private house. The 12th house is the sign of endings, spirit, the source, void, God, dreams, the emotional ocean of the Unconscious, the ephemeral, untouchable, nonphysical world of imagination, visions and creativity.

You would look to your own natal chart to see where Scorpio is, it could be in any one of the 12 houses. What sign is in the 12th house in your own chart. 

The energies have felt very intense. I have been really feeling that vulnerable Venus Chiron in Pisces energy.  This energy puts in touch with the deep, deep ancient wounding at the core of our souls. Somehow I am crying and typing this at the same time. 

Moon in Scorpio until the 12th makes this soul wounding felt even deeper, and  more powerful. Crying is very healthy. You need to get down to where it really hurts. I know it also triggers Scorpio type secretive defenses and huge anger resistance to cover up the fear of the truth of that pain.

Remember the FISHER KING? The key question to get the Holy Grail is “What ails you?”

 

MEDITATION  on PAIN

Ask yourself that question. And keep asking it. Sit down and breathe and ask and listen to your body.

 

Acknowledge your pain. Let your pain guide you. Write out what the pain has to tell you. It has a positive intention. Do focussing. A method I was taught in my early psycho-therapeutic studies. 

What we resists persists. This message also came up in a phone reading I did. I said it is what you haven’t dealt with yet which is holding you back from;

a. finding a job. b. growing beyond past limitations and hurts which haven’t been felt.

 

Carlos Castaneda talked about a shamanic practice called Recapitulation, in his books. Shamans spend  a long time doing breathing and specific movements to release all old memories until they are clear and can be fully present. That;s a definition of Enlightenment.

 I was also watching  a very powerful Youtube video earlier suggested by my friend and spiritual songstress Pamela Gerrand. “A way out of pain” by Matt Kuhn who seems to be a very down to earth enlightened spiritual channel. Links below

“The healing is through the pain.” Accept it. Be with it. Allow it. Love it. That’s what heals. That is alchemy.

MEDITATE on TIMELESSNESS

I went to a special meditation and sadhana which is a Tibetan Buddhist ceremony/ritual of the transmission of the energy, wisdom, and power from my old Teacher’s lineage. It was awesome and deeply moving. The meditation had been taught in the 70’s at Urubamba Peru,on May 10 1974,  with a Star Group, a group of  students meditating together on outer space and inner space.  I felt transported.  In the tradition I must recite 10,000 mantra or 100,000 mantras to distill and incorporate the energy of the Transmission. So its special to also have the # 22 as this day’s symbolic energy.

22 is the end and the beginning the ALpha and THE OMEGA. 

What struck me is the Lama speaking about- You have Never been born,and will never die. Ultimately nothing has ever been born or died.  

MEDITATE on that state-

Go into a deep meditation breathe deeply, and say to yourself, I have never been born and I have never died and sit with it. You could have amazing insights with that. That my friend is transcendence, if you can grok it. YOU can have instant enlightenment.

THE CARDINAL CROSS TIMES  

 Aug 6- 7^th 2010  Tara Greene’s  Astrology Updates and advice for the ongoing continuous stress of Uranian Plutonian revolutionize and change now or soon die and maxxed out Cardinal crosses including a number of planets!  

Since the June 26 Lunar eclipse Grand Cardinal Cross which instigated these 2010-2012 CArdinal Years there’s now more energies applying again, more hits to get us up and moving. 

These days there is now Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, The Moon in early degrees of Cancer, Venus just entered Libra, her Home sign, cozying up to Mars and Saturn in the scales of Karmic Justice. Producing, count ’em  10 squares and 7 oppositions! That’s a whopping tension.  

That number of new beginnings-early Cardinal Sign planets in Grand Cross formation hasn’t been seen in about 2,000 years!!!! What happened back then? 

   

The Jupiter Pluto square will be in effect for the nest 6 weeks!  Jupiter is Mr. Big, Jupiter rules foreigners, airplanes, religious fanatics, higher education, travel, philosophy, legal matters, risk tasking. Jupiter is THE Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot. Pluto is Hades lord of the Underworld, Soul presence, shadow, Pluto if used very consciously is power and riches. Negatively its’s secrets, power and control over others. But its all good,as its’ purpose is all about destruction  or de-construction & resurrection.  So how’s your personal D & R. going?  

How Phoenix do you feel?  Or how close or far are you from that event horizon? 

Pluto rules riches and worldly power in Capricorn and Jupiter is BIG, so large market falls are possible, big new laws which may limit people which then brings Uranus also in early Aries into the picture as the revolution is beginning to heat up. 

Cardinal crosses- who cares?

 

It all adds up to MUCHO STRESS! These  planets  Jupiter and Uranus, Mars Venus and Saturn all squared by Pluto and now opposed by the Cancer Moon are rubbbing against each other at 90 degrees angels and 180 degree -tug of war oppositions. With the newish Venus and Mars action with Saturn in Libra it’s supposed to be about Balance, fair play, equality, right? Jupiter and Uranus in Aries say its a whole new ball game, innovate now or forever kick yourself in the butt. This is just the preliminaries.  

Jupiter and Uranus are both Retrograding back to Pisces – Uranus on Aug 13th, Jupiter on Sept. 9 right after the mid Virgo New Moon and the beginnning of the Jewish New Year, Jupiter is Yahweh, so some kind of a spiritual karmic replay with Israel is forthcoming. Perhaps war!!  

These’re KArmic Times all right!  

ARE WE PRODUCING PEARLS YET?  

I feel the planet to work with – albeit quickly as she will only be in Cancer from Friday Aug 6th at 2:50 pm PDT till Aug 8 4:23 pm. But La Luna goes Void of Course on the 7th at 11:46 am and that’s the best time to do meditations or ceremonies. Sat Auh 7th around noon until Sunday Aug 8 at 4:23 pm PDT. Interesting its 88 again. 

 in this mix is the Moon, as she is once again in early Cancer as she was on June 26 the newcomer in this Grand cross. Squares can be liked to sand in the proverbial oysters, irritating as hell to the bivalve but what’s the oyster do? puts some spit and saliva on it to mitigate those outchy hard edges and what’s the outcome? a Pearl!    

Venus and Saturn are both at their best in Libra, Venus rules it, Saturn is exalted there.  This promises more harmony, equanimity, balancing and peace for a short period. Mars is weak in Libra the sign opposite the one he rules Aries. Moon rules Cancer in this cardinal cross. These are the ongoing Cardinal Cross years 2010-2012.  

We are at a Cross Roads,Cardinal refers to beginnings. This is the shift of the world ages.  

Planets are near where they were at the Great Depression of 1929. The 60’s generation that was seeded by Uranus and Pluto in Virgo with Saturn opposite in Pisces is having their collective mid life crisis. Things are tense, the forces of old established Patriarchal Capricorn corporate authority is being overhauled and restructured and recycled and destroyed by Plutonian influences. But not until they try to initiate fascism and the New world order, everyone is chipped and watched and police state politics, GMO, mad cow, brain meltdowns etc.  

The Catholic Church is falling apart, their known abuse of young men, the Church’s  homosexual shadows, it’s unholy piosness and callous cruelty in the false name of righteousness and blashepmy of Jesus is being uncovered for all to see. The church is responsible for burning and torturing over nine million people, mainly women in over 300 years,taking over their property over falsely accusing them of being witches and consorting with the devil. All lies. The churches is one of the richest most powerfull Institutions in the World. It is almost infallable. But fall it will,as people wake up and learn to see with their own eyes as Jesus said.   

This is one of the purposes of these Cardinal crosses, to raise awareness.

On a personal level:  

I know people are overracting, over stressed. My experience with all this- dumping, shadow spitting and all the dark parts that no one wants to own comming out in the clear blue light of day is a cleansing. Dont react to any of  it. It’s like a fire drill. Remain calm, it’ll all blow over like smoke, like ashes.  See it for what it is. That’s how you start making pearls of wisdom.  

It is a g reat clearing and cleansing. It isn’t necessarily pretty. My sense is everyone really needs to go into their hearts, and ask what their own personal truth is to cultivate and be in a place of love. The new frequencies and dimensions incoming are very high. We are walking on a knife blade. All there is is now. People are sick of too  much information, false reality, over complexity. Slow everything down and simplify your life.  

Neptune and Chiron are still inclose proximity. Chiron re-entered Aquarius July 20, he stays in Aquarius till 2011 and closely aligns with Neptune again at years end. The Wounded Healer Chiron and Neptune the planet of egolessness, spirit, Bliss, dissolving into Oneness, dreams, artistry, illusion, delusion, fantasy, denial, oil, addictions are showing us the cosmic signature.The Gulf oil crisis is the negative side of their cheek to cheek dance. The positive side is Healing of one’s soul, of the spiritual wounds. Be joyous.  

Aug 8th Venus and Saturn conjunct. Time to get serious in binding relationships. Many relationships end now, it is a karmic turnign point. How in balance is your life, love, finances and artistic endeavours? How much beauty do you create,appreciate, own?  New art forms will come out of this cardinal cross.  

With Moon in Cancer – be nice to your tummy. If you need to crawl under the covers in a fetal position and suck your thumb or hold your blankie that’s ok  too. And let the tears fall as well.
I find crying to be a great release from all the tension. Security needs and issues come up in all relationships very strongly. Power backlashes are the result of insecurity. Remember that.  

 Meditate and breath in the Light. Powerfull spiritual master teacer are nearby and hovering in very close waiting and watching and coming if you ask. Dont be afraid. remember where you came from. We all come from the stars.   

I was visiting friends of mine up in the Bancroft area in Northernish Ontario the other day. They mentioned a lot of UFO sightings in the country and Pleiadian sightings. Call in the ones who love you who are in the Light to help you navigate through these turbulent times.
