Retronado,Double trouble advice from Tara Greene

Yes it’s a virtual Retronado as Saturn joins Mars turning Retrograde March 2,

one day after Mars goes Retro on the New Moon in Pisces March 1.

SATURN turns Retrograde @ 23 degrees 19 minutes Scorpio until  July 19 turning Direct @ 16 degrees 39 minutes. 

MARS & SATURN were traditionally known as the two “MALEFICS.”  Meaning bringing difficulty, originally supernaturally.

So these two Retrograde Planets double deal us the heavy hard stuff. Bad cards, ill omens.

It’s like “THE GRIM” in HArry Potter

Saturn is Trouble, obstacles, the third dimension, the tax-man, Father, Corporations, Patriarchal Authority, elders, karma.

Saturn Retrograde reminds me of the Myth of Sisyphus, who was a deceitful King who was punished by having to push a huge boulder up hill all day, which rolled back at night so he had to keep repeating the same thing for eternity.

It may only feel that way. And it won’t last  for ETERNITY.

MARS turns Retrograde March 1 at 27 degrees 32 minutes of LIBRA until MAY 19.

Mars Retrograde is anger turned inwards, it can affect your health, be careful of not getting too wound up inside.

Exercise is very important to release the steam that  can’t get out. It will help increase low energy.

MARS in LIBRA Retrograde is VERY INDECISIVE.  So don’t expect clear cut answers.

I tuned into the fact that her father had died a couple of years ago and she was so busy care taking everyone else that she hadn’t had time to fully mourn herself. She had 5 planets in Libra. I told her to go directly home to cry, to mourn fully in the Jewish tradition for one solid week, To sit shiva for her Dad. I predicted that her symptoms would go away. I also recommended Homeopathic remedies which support grief.

Saturn in the 12th house,coping strategies, Card of the day

I am sick with a cold and should be sleeping my fine friends and readers. I’ve been up all night in fact, writing obsessively for this blog daily for months now. I love it and knowing so many of you are reading it makes me feel like I am fulfilling my mission. But I need to slow down a bit.  I am having Saturn in Scorpio in my 12th house and that’s a tiring, did I say OBSESSIVE? transit. Are you going through this one?

COPING STRATEGIES 

If you are, you know how Saturn tests and limits you. The 12th House is always a natural PISCES house, this is the most secret house, the house of origin and return SPIRIT, Bliss, the Unconscious, self undoing, illusion, delusion ,fantasy spirituality, enclosures, ashram, gurus, creativity, dreaming, psychology.  Cocooning. Awaiting rebirth. With SCORPIO, 8th house issues in the 12th it combines both these emotional, watery, dreamy, energies. It  is very deep, intense, facing the shadow, power,control, sex, money, jealousy, revenge, spite, obsession issues on top of it. Being ground down by Saturn, grist for the mill, the ego, the Unconscious self is turned to dust. Saturn is earth, it’s like dying before being reborn. Dust to dust as they say. It’s hard to keep the outer worldly ego up and parading about in the 10th house of career when all the energy is pointing inward, Hermit like to the 12th. VISION QUESTING is what is called for. 

Saturn in the 12th represents a long ending to a journey begun when Saturn crossed your Ascendant, 28-29 years ago. If you have a 16-20 degree SCORPIO Ascendant then the REBIRTH happens as SATURN crosses the line shortly into the 1st House and a WHOLE NEW LIFE CYCLE begins. My son Elijah was a baby, I was into being a new mom, nursing on demand, having a family bed, and running my first husband and I, crafts business and a house.

As Saturn crosses the Ascendant it is  literally like the first breath of air that a baby takes upon being born..

So the prep is very important.  Saturn moves from 16 degrees Scorpio – ZERO degrees Sagittarius in 2014. SATURN will backtrack into Scorpio again, finally entering  Sagittarius in June 2015.

This card portrays PSYCHE (soul) who must journey into HADES/Pluto;s realm to retrieve a pot of Persephone’s beauty cream which Aphrodite {Venus} has ordered her to do in order for her to achieve true love. That must be one awesome beauty cream.

This card describes the most difficult stage in the journey that PSYCHE or SOUL makes in its quest for real relationship. The symbol of entering death’s realm which no living mortal ever escapes symbolizes, abandoning all hope. Psyche goes willingly because she is so committed- it’s just like Saturn in Scorpio,

This is where most people when confronted with the fact that a relationship is over, that there is nowhere to go left, go into denial, refusing to acknowledge that their situation is over, no matter how much pleading, begging and wishful thinking they indulge in. That only prolongs the pain.

By surrendering willingly, the opportunity for change arises.

Depression is SATURN territory. The cure is in feeling the hopelessness in a way that doesn’t lead to suicide, and hopelessness, and has a holistic overview. It’s just a necessary balance, just Part of the journey, the downside needed to recognize and differentiate the UP side. Yon and yang. Saturn in Scorpio is heating this energy and issue up.

Most people are given drugs for depression which are dangerous and a temporary cure but really only serve to worsen the situation as the suppressed unintegrated feelings get stronger, more wild until they cannot be contained anymore. Witness all the shootings Navy Yard, everywhere in the U.S. now and so often.

It’s like the leaking radioactive Japanese reactor Fukushima is a metaphor for the world’s undigested Psyche which is pouring out in to the Pacific ocean and contaminating the largest ocean in the world and which can never be contained and will take thousands of years to reach neutrality.

Pluto is Atomic energy, and Pluto in Capricorn- is contained in a secure structure. Saturn in Scorpio- which is the sign Pluto rules are in mutual reception now. 

Lets have a more integrated holistic sense of soul needs. Not fantasy, glamour, addictions of one type or another and illusion, that is Neptune in Pisces, also training Saturn ad Pluto. 

The cosmos is pointing out the major players and what the cure is. Venus in Scorpio is TRINE Chiron in Pisces exact yesterday all sextile Pluto in Capricorn.

Have faith, and abandon all hope.

CRISIS ? Depression, how to cope, Angels advice

I’ve had client’s call me in major crisis mode the last few days.

WHAT’S YOUR  CRISIS LEVEL LIKE NOW on a 1 to 10 scale?

One is going through her 2nd Saturn return and a very nasty divorce proceeding going on for four years now.

Saturn the great teacher tester, grinds us down to dust. Saturn is the bones, Dust to dust, ashes to ashes.

Are you going through your 1st Saturn return those of you born 1984? If you are 28 1/2 or 29 then this is you.

If you are around  57 or 58 then you are having your 2nd Saturn return.

Saturn is the great teacher. TIME. Limitations obstacles, the 3D world. 

Saturn is depression. Saturn is LEAD. You could say it is like getting lead poisoning from all that heavy reality.

James Hillman wrote a lot about depression and how one needs to go into the depression and not avoid it or medicate it.

That’s a Neptunian approach in astrology, avoidance, up and out, away. The  delusions.  It’s dangerous.

Into the shining ego state. The SUN in the Tarot.

This stage  is called the negrido, the blackening, stage in Alchemy. Like The void, darkness. The no place to go stage.

It’s like being back in the womb at the end of the pregnancy when the baby is getting too big and uncomfortable.

As scared and as suicidal as some of my clients get, I guide them to go into their own inner knowing.  I work with Higher guides and angels

Be Like the Hermit in the Tarot,stay alone, listen to your inner gut wisdom. The Hermit is also Virgo territory,

It is into the darkness that we must go. Saturnine.  Like Little red Riding Hood, she goes into the woods.

She meets the wolf, the shadow, the fear, and she is strong. She gets help-The woodsman.

He is her own inner heroic ego that can slay the dragon or wolf.

It is complex. When the wolf disguises himself as her granny, she knows that she is also the wolf.

Stay in the underworld with your shadows but you need the guardian on the threshold. You already have all the answers,I help guide you.

Call upon Your inner guardian Angel to be with you.

Call upon them. Listen to them. Know that it is all a reality test. Insist on staying real and knowing your higher self completely.

Saturn and Neptune are still in a healthy  Trine  although Saturn is moving on.

Saturn and Pluto are in sextile still so use this time well.

find your Self, make peace with your past, forgive and forgive 

until your secret closet is empty, your 12th house Scorpio or Libra soul is empty

waiting to be fulfilled at your  Rebirth
