In the Tarot the Fool is the wisest card in the deck. The Fool is numbered ZERO and 22 a Master Number. Zero symbolizes enlightenment. It is wholeness completion- a round a cycle of infinite movement.It is nothing or the Void of total potential.

The Fool is the first and the last. The Alpha and the Omega. As in the Book of Revelations ” I am the Alpha and the Omega the First and the Last the Beginning and the End.” Which was always the ” Charge of the Star Goddess” I am that which has been with you from the beginning and will be with you at the end.” 

The Fool symbolizes the soul embarking on a new journey into incarnation. The Fool symbolizes Trust and innocence. The very first time a person has a Tarot reading they are embodying the energy of the Fool. 

SUN conjuncts MERCURY RETROGRADE in ARIES at 12 degrees

Relight your mind. Focus the Sun’s light to burn the old scripts. Revisit old mental grooves that do not compute to who you are and with what you are growing into and where you are going right now. 

All new beginnings need to be revisited. Mental frustration is high. Aries hates to stop slow down or be told what to do. 

MARS and SATURN conjunct April 2 at 9 Capricorn squaring Sun/Mercury 

 Mars rules Aries and he is in Saturn’s rulership.This is a fated heavy end and beginning of a new cycle. Be very clear to release old karmic debts and scripts and take responsibility for what you have created. There are always two sides to karma- and Mercury is dual natured. 

There is a trickster aspect going on here as well. Don’t let your mind play tricks on you. Use the Sun’s clarity to decide what is yours and what is theirs and where you responsibility lies and what you can do to build a new foundation.

Don’t let it bring you down Annie Lennox 

Andreas Lubitz Germanwings pilot, psychological Astrology profile

I waited a few days for the dust to settle a bit over the tragic Germanwings Flight 9525 crashed March 24 at 10:41 am CET. killing all 150 people on board over the French Alps. I have sent blessings to the multinational passengers and their families.

The media is claiming that co-pilot Andreas Lubitz had psychiatric ad emotional issues and crashed the plane on purpose as a suicide mission. Captain Patrick Sondenheimer was locked out of the cockpit after going to the bathroom and the black box recording reveals he tried to smash the door open with an axe. German flights don’t require two pilots in the cockpit at all times.

In another strange twist to this crash there may be a co-incidence between the  crash and an Argentinian black comedy co-produced by Pedro Almodóvar’s “Wild Tales” which was nominated for the Foreign Language Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards. In it a pilot crashes a plane on purpose.  

It would take a “pathological degree of anger” or depression to deliberately crash a plane with 150 people aboard, says a Hamilton psychiatrist.

An ex-girlfriend of Lubitz, identified only as Mary W, said he had told her last year: “One day I will do something that will change the whole system, and then all will know my name and remember it.” In hindsight it was clearly this horrific event that he will be remembered for.

Let’s look at Andreas astrology chart to investigate who he was and if he had that pathological degree of anger residing within him from birth. Mental illness would show up in his natal chart. Companies really should have astrologers check over their employees thoroughly before hiring and keeping tabs on them through knowing their stressful astrology transits. The planets don’t lie- you can quote me on that.

There are two birthdates published for him. One is December 18, 1987, the other  December 28 1987, both with no exact birth time, noon is used along with the time of the crash. I will use the December 18 chart.

Andreas had a “stellium” pf four planets  grouped together, the  SUN, MERCURY, SATURN and URANUS in the sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is prominent in the sign of pilots, risk takers and travel. He may have appeared as an easy-going Sagittarian type who laughed easily and liked sports. Saturn Uranus Mercury and the Sun together in Fire sign of Sagittarius reveal a strong individual, who goes against the status quo,  a person who never felt he fit in. Lubitz marched to his own drummer. His mind was always overheated, he talked a lot, he had high energy. These planets together symbolize unexpected actions, chaos, shock, explosions, freedom, liberation, quick changes, impulsiveness, mental chatter, radical actions. If this is taken as an accurate birth time it fits well as the Sagittarius planets are in the high noon position of worldly fame. He also had Jupiter, planetary ruler of Sagittarius in Aries another fire sign. Jupiter in Aries is literally a “high-flying” energy, reckless, immature, spontaneous, trusting, and naive. Jupiter is conjunct to recently discovered dwarf planet ERIS. Eris is known as the shit-disturbing planet, she is the energy of revenge, the trouble making planet.

Lubitz  had a very difficult PLUTO, MARS, MOON conjunction in SCORPIO- his natal Moon is opposite the demon star ALGOL- see below. His Moon is also conjunct to another dangerous Fixed Star Alpha Serpentis at 22 degrees Scorpio known for suicide, accidents, a fall after success and forgeries.

This aspect alone would be a huge RED FLAG for any employer. Mars rules Scorpio and the planet is at its most powerful here. Mars in Scorpio symbolizes anger, revenge, a sado-masochistic personality, power-hungry, repressed emotions, secrets and control issues. Pluto brings in deeper, darker, psychological territory. The Moon Pluto conjunction brings in suicidal tendencies. Pluto rules death and destruction,  moodiness, depression, brooding, obsessiveness from never letting go of an issue. His psyche was a place of terror, which could stem from past life issues along with present life re-occurences of his patterns with this placement.

Lubitz was apparently going blind from a deteriorating eyesight condition which would have ended his childhood dream of being a pilot.  A variety of sources — official and unofficial — state that Lubitz suffered from depression, had had some kind of “burn-out,” and was being treated for an unspecified illness that should have prevented him from flying on that fateful day. He had torn up sick-notes in his apartment. There was no suicide note found. The taking anti-depressants also makes one suicidal. The black box recording  reveal that Lubitz sat calmly after locking the Captain out of the cockpit and setting the plane onto its collision course. 

His Venus was in earthy Capricorn. He was a responsible orderly conservative person. He could work hard and seemed practical. Close to his family, especially his mother as CERES the Mother planet is conjunct to Venus. This points to mothering issues. Perhaps an overly strict mother, or smothering one.

CHIRON the wounded healer is involved in a Mutable Grand cross as it is squaring his North and South Nodes at 28 degrees Pisces/Virgo respectively and opposite to the stellium in Sagittarius  which are also conjunct to the Galactic Center the black hole at the centre of our Galaxy. This split wound was something he could never get away from. It plagued him. This is another of the main indicators of mental illness in his natal chart. Lubitz was a deeply wounded man. CHIRON at 26 degrees Gemini is conjunct to the North Star. His wound is what the world will know  him for.  Chiron is the focal point of a “finger of God” or yod aspect between his Moon in Scorpio and Venus and Ceres in Capricorn. This points literally to a person with a  “splinter in his mind”  a detached split personality. He had that Jekyll and Hyde thing going for him big time especially in his relationships with women.

Lubitz had LILITH and Vesta the Goddess of focus, in LEO natally squaring that difficult Pluto Mars conjunction in Scorpio.This is interesting, describing a man’s inner LILITH. The rejected Feminine archetype works in either sex. Lubitz’s psyche identified with the rejected, scorned feminine, the dark feminine,  the death-bringing Goddess. Lilith refuses to be in relationship to anyone who does not respect her needs, the soul’s needs first. This does not mean she is evil or bad as she has been portrayed. For a man it means his inner feminine is very strong, proud, courageous, daring, independent, needing to be in control. If Lubitz as a child was taught to behave, to comply,was  spanked, beaten or punished and was forced to be in servitude to the father,or other controlling image, then this Lilith of his would stay obsessively plotting revenge. This is a very deep psychological wound. Not what it appears to be at all on the surface. Natal Lilith is also inconjunct { 150 degree aspect } to Lubitz Neptune in Capricorn, indicating that the outlet of his revenge would be through his career.

Lubitz was mean to aspire to embody his North Node at 28 degrees of Pisces, which symbolizes forgiveness, compassion, being a charitable spiritual person. The negative side of Pisces, is mental illness, self- sabotage, delusions, illusions, fantasies, paranoia, addictions. Pisces at the 2nd last degree in the Zodiac symbolizes that Lubitz was almost completed an entire karmic cycle. BUT… Lubitz  North Node was also conjunct to a bitch of an unfortunate Fixed Star called SHEAT at 29 degrees Pisces considered traditionally to be a true-black malefic. People with planets or important points at this degree are prone to murder, suicide and extreme misfortune through hubris and pride.

Lubitz South Node at 28 degrees VIRGO indicates a perfectionist, hypochondriac, a workaholic, an uptight, very self-critical person. This energy can express as very uptight, OCD, appears humble.

TRANSITS AT THE TIME

The TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE on March 20 was at 29 degrees of PISCES within a degree of his North Node which is connected to a very powerful and unfortunate Fixed Star SHEAT as described above was already involved in Lubitz’ karmic choices.  I believe the eclipse pushed him emotionally and unconsciously over the edge. His suicide mission followed his denial of his higher spiritual goal/as a delusion of “One day I will do something that will change the whole system, and then all will know my name and remember it.” unfortunately.

His Jupiter in Aries was directly in the line of Fire of the Cardinal Cross energy, of Uranus and Pluto in Capriorn, their last and seventh square was March 16. His Jupiter ruled all of his Sagittarius planets and his North Node.  The unexpected chaotic, freedom loving, thrill seeking, revolutionary energy of Uranus in Aries explodes through his Sun- his identity, Mercury- his mind,  Saturn- his work, karma and his natal Uranus in Sagittarius. Pluto in Capricorn affecting his Jupiter meant he had the time and patience to plan, to wait, to set it up and then go for the “glory.”

Jupiter Retrograde was sitting on his Natal Lilith and Vesta making them extra dramatic in their expression. Lubitz needed to be seen, center- stage known at any cost.

Mars had just touched off his natal Jupiter on March 18 igniting his headstrong, reckless, angry, childlike, spontaneous, energies.

Saturn Retrograde in Sagittarius is squaring his natal Juno, Goddess symbol of the perfect ‘wife” or partner. She symbolizes feminine genius. Apparently his girlfriend is pregnant about two months with his child. They were going to get married. Perhaps his inner insecurities about becoming a Father, Saturn’s realm conflicted with his inner sense of inadequacy, Juno in Pisces.

TRANSITS ON DAY OF

On the day of this terrible event the MOON is at 27 degrees of TAURUS conjunct the terrible demon star ALGOL, always at 26 degrees Taurus or the Medusa’s head. This Star is considered to be the worst and most evil star of them all, and has a connection with death and pain. Lubitz’a Natal Moon was directly opposite this degree. This was like an intense Full Moon for him and as with all Full Moon’s it affected his unconscious memories and his emotions bringing them to a frenzied peak of uncontrollable power.

The MOON was Void-of course from Taurus to Gemini.

IN SUMMARY

Such a tragedy. In all humility I do feel that Astrology can be a great revealer of character as it has been used to delineate personality traits and potentially strong times of difficulty and “fate” for any person for over ten thousand years. Employers should wish to try and use every means at their disposal to help discover the hidden aspects of a person’s psyche to try to prevent any future accidents of this type. Astrology can be one superb method.

How to use Saturn Mars for positive transformations

I’m in  a Virgo New Moon mode. Did a lot of sorting, cleaning and de-cluttering. Felt much more focused. It’s good.

Paid homage to serious Saturn in Scorpio conjunct Mars in ceremony with my husband. It felt good. We have been doing New and Full Moon rituals for 18 years together now.

Mars is HOT. Pure masculine libido, testosterone, drive, daring, spontaneous. Saturn is COLD. Ancient wisdom, seniority, plodding, depression, serious, father, death. Two polarities. Marshall McLuhan Toronto’s media philosophy guru used to talk about mediums being Hot or cold. But they can work together. Saturn slows down Mars hot headedness. Mars brings passion and new life to seniors or depression.

“Youth is wasted on the young. ” George Bernard Shaw  said. But energy always be accessed, manifested, held molded and intended for powerful, long-term, practical goals, through patience and persistence. Like the embodiment of  the “superior Man” of the I Ching. We can create  a middle polarity balance point.

I feel that Mars has taken Saturn hostage temporarily. Mars is the dispositor being Scorpio’s ruling planet.

The warrior and the tax man together. Life force, sex and old age and death. The young action hero, like Luke Sky walker and Obi Wan Kenobi in Star Wars  and the wise old sage. The young punk and the cops. Pure energy and a wall of lead. There are many ways to think of these two planets.

As Saturn literally represents your father and if your dad has passed on like mine has, use this three days of the Dark Moon to connect with him more easily. I had a very powerful dream last night and my Dad was very present and spoke to me very clearly.

L’Wren Scott as a model by Rex the longest legs in Britain 42 inches.

Always sad to hear of a young person committing suicide.  L’Wren Scott, former model and fashion designer,  who I must confess to not knowing much about, the 13 year partner/girlfriend of Mick Jagger has apparently committed suicide by hanging and was found on the morning of March 17 in her Manhattan apartment dead. There was no suicide note.

Mick Jagger in Australia to launch a new Stones tour was totally in shock and devastated by the tragic news . His Press statement  said that L’Wren his best friend and lover and he couldn’t understand how she could have chosen such a tragic end to her life.

Miss Scott’s fashion business was 6- 7 million dollars in debt. She  had missed Paris fashion week recently because she couldn’t afford to go. Mick Jagger whose wealth is in the hundreds of millions had financially helped her out in the past.

Adopted by a  Mormon couple L’Wren grew up in small town in Utah. Six foot three with 42 inch long legs she was spotted by  photographer Bruce Weber and appeared in  a photo shoot for Calvin Klein at 17. She scraped up babysitting money and bought a one way ticket to Paris knowing that fashion was her true love. She did runway work and designed costumes for films. She was a well respected designer of her own line which was the favourite of Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker and others. Her death came as a tragic shock for many famous friends.

A TRIPLE TAURUS with Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde and lucky optimistic trusting JUPITER, she was triply stubborn. Taurus is a straightforward, grounded, very hard working, sensual sign ruled by the planet Venus which rules the FASHION beauty and socialite world. L’Wren had big dreams but maybe doubts about her own intelligence with Mercury Retrograde. Yes big dreams indeed with NEPTUNE planet of dreamers, idealists, romantics and creatives opposite her Sun at 16 degrees Retrograde of Scorpio.  Neptune in Scorpio is spiritual, idealistic and deep. Can be perfectionists and controlling but in very subtle ways.

As I don’t have a birth time the question of where the Moon was on her birth is very important. I will rectify it back into late SCORPIO probably at 25 degrees which would be at midnight. A Scorpio moon woman knows what she wants and goes and gets it, she would be extremely emotional, passionate, powerful, deep, mysterious, very sexual, controlling, and attracted to men in power and high places.

We have to remember she was also Mick Jagger’s long time lover. She would have to be a very alluring woman to keep him interested.

This indicates a sorrow of the soul, disappointment in love, Feminine dreams unattained, the inability to deal with her feelings deeply and to talk about them. She was deeply wounded spiritually and in her self-esteem. This could be a direct unconscious {Pisces} result of being adopted and the mystery {Pisces} behind her own background. She was adopted and I do not know if she ever found out who her biological parents were.  She was brought up in a strict Mormon religious household. Saturn represents her adopted father and the masculine authority principle  as well as her karma in her life. Saturn in Pisces makes for confusion, doubt, addictions in her past that she may or may not have known about. Saturn rules depression, and in Pisces it could be well disguised, hidden, turned into workaholism or some form of perfectionism. It was written that she was a perfectionist and orderly.

SATURN OPPOSITE URANUS AND PLUTO in VIRGO

L’Wren was born at the beginning of the  60’s revolution which was created by the conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in Virgo. This is a generational influence. But for L’Wren the two transpersonal planets are squaring the Goddess Asteroid Athena at 3 degrees of  Sagittarius. Athena was an Amazon from Libya who was then Patriarchalized as Zeus’s daughter of war.  She would have been very defensive about her work. L’Wren also had Uranus and PLUTO Retrograde in square to her LILITH at 11 degrees of Sagittarius.

Lilith was the original woman, powerful, independent, bowing to no man, refusing to compromise. Women with strong Lilith’s are proud and would rather leave a situation than have to give in, in any way. With Lilith in fiery Sagittarius her impetuous  nature would get the better of her. It’s like a permanent adrenal alert, fight or flight.

PLUTO in Virgo OPPOSITE CHIRON in PISCES

This is a hard aspect, a difficult one. Chiron is where we are the most vulnerable and wounded. In Pisces it can be many lifetimes of  soul struggle, hard work, no recognition, no dreams fulfilled. Her life may not have appeared this way, perhaps this was her own internal dialogue.

Her North Node at 3 degrees of Cancer indicated her longing to be a mother, for family, home, traditionally nurturing and caring for others. She never had children although it was reported her apartment had a nursery so this is something she must have wanted and didn’t get. She was very feminine and liked to nurture others. Her South Node in Capricorn indicates a former life of public fame, hard work, being in business. South Node was conjunct to CERES the Great Mother at 7 degrees of Capricorn. In the past she was an earth  mother,merchant, farmer, herbalist or midwife.

AT HER DEATH

L’Wren was approaching her CHIRON RETURN. Something everyone experiences at around 50. For a woman it can bedoubly hard as she may have been going through menopause, or peri- menopause. It is a time of feeling extremely vulnerable, wounded, desperate, All the old emotional baggage comes up for one to deal with.. In Pisces it can swamp a person, drown them in old unfinished business.Transiting Chiron was also square to her Natal Venus in Gemini- again the theme of vulnerability, hurt, defenseless, split.

L’Wren had NEPTUNE planet of escapism, debt, delusion, illusion on her SATURN for the last while now and moving in to oppose her natal Uranus planet of chaos, unexpected events, and the desire for freedom.

Neptune conjunct Saturn in Pisces is literally needing to pay your debts.

But its energies brings  fog, doubt, delusion around dealing with the hard reality of Saturn. Neptune calls one back to spirit to escape Saturn’s difficult karmic lessons. Neptune was square to her Athena. She felt at a loss from her usual arsenal of defenses, stripped bare by Neptune.  Saturn in Neptune is dreams, and Neptune conjunct to that makes all one’s hard Saturn work evaporate. It all turns to mist and fog, ephemeral, nothing.

MARS RETROGRADE takes our actions passions and defenses backwards, Like being raked over the coals. Mars was opposing her Natal Mars in Aries. Mars in Libra weakens ones energy or business in fashion especially, which is Libra territory. She felt caught in a tug of war.

SATURN RETROGRADE CONJUNCT HER MOON

I believe that she had her Moon at 23 degrees of Scorpio and Saturn went retrograde when it is the strongest, directly on her Moon. Saturn conjunct the Moon is HEAVY, extreme depression. Yes it’s a virtual Retronado as Saturn joins Mars turning Retrograde March 2,

one day after Mars goes Retro on the New Moon in Pisces March 1.

SATURN turns Retrograde @ 23 degrees 19 minutes Scorpio until  July 19 turning Direct @ 16 degrees 39 minutes. 

MARS & SATURN were traditionally known as the two “MALEFICS.”  Meaning bringing difficulty, originally supernaturally.

So these two Retrograde Planets double deal us the heavy hard stuff. Bad cards, ill omens.

It’s like “THE GRIM” in HArry Potter

Saturn is Trouble, obstacles, the third dimension, the tax-man, Father, Corporations, Patriarchal Authority, elders, karma.

Saturn Retrograde reminds me of the Myth of Sisyphus, who was a deceitful King who was punished by having to push a huge boulder up hill all day, which rolled back at night so he had to keep repeating the same thing for eternity.
