April Poetic Astrology Musings from Tara Greene

“April is the cruelest month” these are the opening words from T.S. Elliot’s The Waste Land 1922.

These words popped into my head as I’ve been thinking of different ways to help guide you through this INTENSE  April Grand Cardinal Cross to the Max, 2 Eclipses this month,the 5th of 7 stations of T- Squares.

I always have known that our consciousness  and the Universe is linked up, “the as above, so below.” Thoth’s famous Hermetic maxim. The Universe is always sending us bits of information, symbolic crumbs and threads on the trail, if we see them and follow them. We all get the clues. None of us is clueless. 

 I’m trusting my guides to lead me through my desire for images, dreams, connections, textures with which to wax poetically and informatively on the revolutions of the planets on their axis, planes, nodes.. I am trying to find a context a connection and guidance from Elliot’s poem to our present situation, using it like an oracle. Hey lets just try it on for fun. 

I must confess I’m not a Literary Major. But I have always loved poetry, symbols, archeology, ancient history and mythology. The poem alludes to the Holy Grail, Ezekiel,Ecclesiastes, Tristan and Isolde,

I’ll just use the headings of T.S. Elliot’s poem for intentions and instructions.

1. BURIAL OF THE DEAD 

This is PLUTO in CAPRICORN.

Death of the old corporate Patriarchal structure, banking system, the PLUTOCRACY.  Pluto in earth sign of the world is shaking up governments, in many places and literally shaking up the earth-Earthquakes, mudslides, etc.

On a personal level, it’s the death of the old ways that do not promote new life. What do you need to let die in order to be reborn? Pluto is directly opposites the United States Sun at 13 degrees Cancer now. Rebirth of the U.S. of A.

ESPECIALLY peeps with CAPRICORN  born January 2-6 and those with planets 11-15.

I went to a shiva yesterday. In the Jewish religion, this is the seven days of mourning immediately following the funeral which must be observed. A cousin of my mother’s passed away suddenly at 83. That’s one complete cycle of Uranus.

11. A GAME OF CHESS

Isn’t life a game of chess? How about we see this as just part of the game.  MARS RETROGRADE in LIBRA. – calculating your move, it’s always a game of opposing partners. Are we moving in the right direction? Maybe the “right direction’ was wrong. Question your motivation especially in relationships.

LIBRA peeps born October 5th-10th this means YOU, and also any planets here get Retrograded- steamrolled.

111. The FIRE SERMON

URANUS in ARIES – speaking in flaming torches, firing up,inspiring the crowd- is this the U.S. backed protests in Venezuela?Uranus is squaring PLUTO and JUPITER inspiring the new LIFE FORCE, the spark.

ARIES peeps born MArch 31- April 6- you are to wake up and wake others up. Also check your chart for planets and houses.

IV. DEATH BY WATER

JUPITER in CANCER opposite PLUTO in CAPRICORN and squaring MARS and URANUS

Emotional deaths, breaking old emotionally negative contracts, those that do not support us . Letting the old emotional ties die allows us to be  more whole emotionally,  bestows upon us self esteem, unconditional love, emotional security and safety. Literally drownings, floods, over reacting emotionally. 

CANCER peeps born July 3- 8th emotional rebirth for you. Also any planets at these degrees-same thing.

V. WHAT THE THUNDER SAID

This symbolizes both Jupiter- the hurler of Lightning bolts Zeus and Uranus is the Heavenly Storm God.

Uranus the awakener, he symbolizes Higher Consciousness. Uranus in ARIES is new technologies and inventions FREEDOM and revolution.

Thunder can mean bombs, bad weather, earthquakes, awakening.

Uranus previous cycle through Aries began in 1929-1930 the Great depression, the Stock Market crash.  We are starting a new cycle built on that past.

 Also in the poem- I’m excerpting about the seer, 

“Madame Sosostris, famous clairvoyante,…

is known to be the wisest woman in Europe,

With a wicked pack of cards. Here, said she,

Here is Belladonna, the Lady of the Rocks,

the lady of situations.

Here is the man with three staves, and here the Wheel.”

The meaning I get from these lines:

Sosostris – means S.O.S.  EMERGENCY,  ostris means oestre, the pagan name for EASTER- timing!!!

Be clear- the wise woman is the anima, the intuition which every one of us has.

Belladonna is a hallucinogenic plant, or awakening the pineal gland, Inner visioning, MEDITATION.

Beautiful Lady is again the Goddess, the Soul,

Lady of the Rocks, Mother Mary, the Madonna, the Divine Feminine, our grounding.

The situation. 

These are actual Tarot Cards – the 3 of wands, which rules this exact time of year March 31- April 10.

My interpretation: This is a very fortunate opportunity. The karmic wheel is turning. Use the time wisely.

2014 HAPPY NEW YEAR 

I have meditated, did my Super New Moon ceremony.  I have connected with the Sirian and Pleiadian entities that I work with. I have some channelled information to share with you.

The primary key in 2014 is working with SIRIUS the DOG STAR at 13 degrees CANCER in Tropical astrology which will be a major player in the April 2014 Cardinal Grand Cross. Many people channel the SIRIANS entities.

It’s time to RECEIVE TEACHINGS FROM THE HIGHER MASTER TEACHERS

Jupiter is exalted in CANCER- where it is right now. Fifteen-15 degrees of Cancer is considered to be the “centre of the Universe” in ancient knowledge. Jupiter, the Planet of the HIGHER MASTER TEACHERS  will cross this degree on JANUARY 2-9th Retrograde.

So it is optimum time to tune in every day NOW. The Jupiterian master teachers will come to you if you ask. They are the Law makers and keepers.

Jupiter will conjunct these 15th degrees on MAY 1-7th. NOTE this is MAY DAY an ancient PAGAN Fertility festival and the DIRECTION of the SOUTH-EAST,place of the Ancestors, on the 8 spoked directions in the wheel of the  YEAR.  Jupiter is the Planet which rules the Wheel of Fortune- the wheel of Life itself.

The FIXED STAR SIRIUS -one degree away, is the degree of the U.S. SUN which of course why the Declaration of Independence is connected to July 4 as this is the day the SUN conjunct this Star in the Constellation of Canis Major.

SIRIUS is Connected to the Ancient Egyptian God OSIRIS, ISIS, and HORUS, the STAR CHILD,to the teacher THOTH,

to the Masonic teachings, to Pinocchio,- {when you wish upon a Star}  to the movie 2001,  to the Tarot the #17 THE STAR, is SIRIUS, symbolized by 7 stars.

2014= 7.  

The message I am getting is that we need to tune into these SIRIAN Higher vibrational energies coming through now. The Sirians are ancient gods/Goddesses which seeded humanity and created the human race. We do come from the stars, our DNA was manipulated. 

THE TAROT PLAYERS

I woke up with directions about working with the COURT cards for each CARDINAL sign which are all QUEENS. 

The DIVINE FEMININE is manifesting big time. I have alway s known I needed to work with a Sisterhood, to help empower the Divine Mother Goddess/Earth energies again. It’s very important women to work with the Moon’s cycles. The New Moon or Dark Moon is the most intense, its the Archetypal natural MOON TIME. The bleeding time, time of the Moon lodges, the RED TENT, honoring of  women’s menstrual blood for its magical alchemical properties. I will also start leading online FULL MOON ceremonies. stay tuned

and adding in the minor cards and the decans as well to consider and gather more symbolic info.

The UNIverse always speaks in symbols, icons, archetypes.that’s UNI meaning ONE verse.

Here are The 4 COURT cards or characters, personality cards which symbolize the signs of the 4 main planetary planetary players in the GCC. 

ARIES –  is The Queen of WANDS, FIRE- where URANUS is. In  the 2nd decan, is ruled by Leo influence,   also associated with

the 2 of WANDS as minor card, called DOMINION or SPIRITUAL STRENGTH.

CANCER – is The Queen of CUPS -WATER – where Jupiter is. In the  2nd decan ruled by SCORPIO influence,

also associated with the 2 of cups- called LOVE.

LIBRA-is The Queen of Swords-where Mars is -AIR. In  the 2nd decan, ruled by Libra, and the the 2 of swords,called PEACE.

CAPRICORN- is The Queen of Discs/Pentacles, where PLUTO is, EARTH. In the 2nd decan ruled by Virgo, and the minor card, the 2 of discs, called CHANGE.

I think the guiding words are right there. 

Spiritual strength, Love, Peace, change.

If you have a Tarot deck take out these 4 or 8 cards and gaze on them, ask the Queens to speak to you. Use each of the #2 minor cards as tools to help you.
