Mars and Pluto Retrograde Reboot, by Tara Greene

MARS Retrograde is so important, it’s a rare, every two-year event. MARS is the planet of men, energy, action, war, sex, testosterone, passion, drive, competition, aliens and it’s turning RETROGRADE April 17- June 29 at 8 degrees Sagittarius conjunct the Archangel Ariel. 

PLUTO planet of soul,the collective unconscious, the shadow, depth psychology, power, control, PLUTOCRATS, sex, money, taxes, secrets, is also turning Retrograde for his annual trip back home to Hell/Hades his own TURF on April 18 @ 17+ degrees of CAPRICORN until September 26th.

As with all RETROGRADES it is not a good time to start anything purely New. But anything that you have been working is fine, for retooling.

This will be a time for major SOUL-SEARCHING in the world. The Masculine is seriously looking at itself and wondering if it wants to keep up the macho warrior image anymore. The Plutocracy is getting challenged. People are pissed off. This a regroup of resource before the war starts when Mars goes Direct.  A ton of deep-seated anger which has been seriously repressed by the Plutocracy will be spewing out. This is a veritable volcano waiting to explode at the end of June as Mercury turns direct. Britain is also planning to leave the EU at the same time. Interesting isnt it?

Literal earthquakes could be very likely as well. We have just seen a bunch in JApan.

MARS is the traditional ruler of ARIES and SCORPIO. PLUTO is the modern ruler of SCORPIO.

The partners in crime are both RETROing together.  MARS is taking us back to their co-owned sign of Scorpio May 27 util August 2nd. The points where MARS turns RETRO and DIRECT carry quite a clout. We’ll examine these. 

This is a  REBOOT, REACTIONARY TIME. It will get very feisty with lots of fighting and nasty underhanded power plays. We will be seeing RED.

Remember last summer of 2015 when Saturn made his last Scrape through Scorpio? This one could be even stronger. more, deeper, heavier shadow and Soul work coming up. 

ARIES and SCORPIO peeps you will be most affected by this transit although we all will be. Look at your natal chart to see which houses Aries and SCORPIO are in your natal chart to see how you will be affected.

Mars going Retrograde through your 12th house has a very different effect than Mars going retrograde in your 10th house or 4th house. 

EVERYTHING will rewind, change, redefine, will be reviewed, during Mars retrograde. Mars Retrograde has an element of rooting for the underdog, the weakling, the one you didn’t think was strong enough. 

MARS Retrograde is repressed anger and actions, that will bounce back.  Mars Retrograde energy turns inward, like a self-inflicted wound. This Mars Retrograde will make us feel lethargic, like we have no energy, no momentum. We could be feeling hysterically competitive, cruzing for a fight, war mongering, kicking and screaming like a spoiled child having a temper tantrum over loss of power and control issues. Mars Retrograde’s rulership of Scorpio indicated past reviews of  taxes, other people’s money and secrets. Sounds familiar. 

A quick check on those Presidential candidates:

HILLARY CLINTON: 

Mars will RETROGRADE from her Natal 6th house of work, service, “humility” health, back down into her 5th house of leadership, creative self-expression, children, love affairs, willpower; cross her natal Jupiter at 0 degrees Sagittarius where she is supposed to be telling the truth. Mars turns DIRECT and stations exactly on her KARMIC SOUTH NODE at 23 degrees SCORPIO! This is where Hillary is the weakest. Everyone’s South Node represents the karma of the past. 

I do believe that Hilary will be getting a karmic kick in the ass because of her secrets, lies, taking big corporate money. Something will be hacked out and end her run for president or severely slow her progress and cripple her. Remember Hillary has SUN CHIRON VENUS MERCURY and the SOUTH NODE in Scorpio.

DONALD TRUMP:

Will have MARS RETROGRADE through his natal 4th house of his childhood, roots, foundation, his mother, his unconscious. Mars turns and stations DIRECT right on his I.C. his 4th house which also affects his HIGH NOON Worldly FAME/ M.C. his highest power in the world. Mars also squares his own natal Mars in his 12th house at 26 degrees but on his Ascendant in LEO. This could mean Donald could gain a lot of momentum after Mars turns direct, although he may have to do it independently of the powers that be lobby against him. He has already said he would run as an independent.

BERNIE SANDERS

Has Mars going Retrograde in his First house and turn Direct there as well. Mars goes Direct very close to Bernie’s ASCENDANT at 19 degrees SCORPIO. This gives him rebound power as Mars turns Direct at end of JUNE. Mars will twice oppose in Retrograde and Direct Bernie’s Natal Uranus at 0 degrees Gemini in his 7th house, {directly opposite Hillary’s Jupiter  BTW} in conjunction with his natal SATURN at 28 degrees TAURUS also in his 7th house of “others.” He will be taken seriously {Saturn} as a revolutionary { Uranus} higher consciousness leader. He will have to bring on all of his Natal Martial fighting mad energy to embody leadership. The people will be fighting mad too. 

MARS turns direct at 23 degrees SCORPIO which will also inconjunct {quincunx, 150 degrees, a difficult aspect } his own NATAL MARS  in ARIES  at exactly 23 degrees in his 5th house of creativity, will power, self-expression. Bernie’s Natal Moon is at 19 degrees Aries conjunct his MARS. This is a difficult aspect, Bernie may be much under fire during this time. he must show his capabilities as a leader and his strength if he can stay the course. 

In AMERICAS NATAL SIBLEY CHART,

MARS goes RETRO in the countries own 12th house of unconsciousness, addictions, self-undoing, oil, secret enemies, delusions, mental illness, institutions, fear, false prophets, glamour. Unravelling all of that. 

MArs turns DIRECT  squaring the U.S, MOON at 27 degrees AQUARIUS in their third house of communications, The Moon always symbolizes the people. Very interesting. The people want a revolution, they want change, they want enlightened higher consciousness, and equal rights for all.  

The people will clamour for Revolution and a civil war make break out. There will be more and more resistance and upheavals. The time has come.

July 1 starts out with a bang, and we may get more bang for our bucks than we expect which could be good or bad depending on where you are coming from.

Jupiter the King of the Gods, Zeus/Thor /Yahweh, called The Greater Benefic, the planet of expansion, optimism, faith humor trust and all good things is conjunct to Venus planet of love, values, luxury, money, relationships,called the Lesser Benefic in Regal Leo, sign of drama, actors, big egos, gold, vanity, pride, partying, over the top excess stuff. Jupiter rules International trade, justice, teaching, expansion, his down side is over-confidence and risk taking.

The DRACHMA DRAMA

We can see this excess over the top as symbolic of Greece’s current drachma drama. They are defaulting from excess, living like Kings, Jupiter in Leo, spending- Venus rules the gelt. They are at the point of no return. Although they can’t legally be thrown out of the EU apparently. That drama Leo’s favorite word, is unfolding about the $ and who has the power, the IMF? Modern day clash of the Titans.  It is very interesting that Ancient Greece was the foundation of modern Western society. Yes they pushed the Persians out and freed up the West. We owe the ancient Greeks an invaluable debt culturally. In a world increasingly being threatened by Islamic State Terrorists similar to the original Muslim scourge of the West,history may be repeating. Every great civilization falls, due to an invading foreigner or from its own handiwork.

Greece’s fall from Grace, a Jupiter theme, may signal a huge crisis once again in the world banking system and it is 7 years since 2008. I know about the Shemitah, these cycles are always based on the planetary cycles. The seven year cycle is Saturn’s. The 12 year cycle is Jupiter’s. The 60 year cycle is 5 x 12 = 60 Jupiter again.

Sun trines Neptune, rules debt,

Shining the light on the debt, on the illusion of money. The IMF prints electronic money it doesn’t exist, it is fancy hocus-pocus, it isn’t backed by GOLD, which is the SUN.

A good day to get married or to do any serious commitments or contracts which also involve pleasure, beauty, the arts, women, men, dad’s, authorities or long-term career.  This can also symbolize an end to a big financial drain.

an auspicious positive day. Love and Archangel Raphael and La Luna come together. Virgo is the land, servants, hard work, budgets, accountability, the environment, the harvest, intellectual, humble. We need to be thinking and caring and loving the earth. we are the earth. 

July 18 Mercury squares Uranus 

thinking radically pushes the buttons of the emotionally fearful. 

July 19 Mercury trines Chiron

The need to be compassionate, in mind and word. Healing comes easily. Time to forgive and move on.

July 21 Cancer SUN trines SATURN in Scorpio

brightening up the somber, death throws in the financial outlook. Serious commitments are favored. 

July 22 Sun enters LEO  Mercury Trines Saturn

Leo energy is proud, loud, dramatic, big-hearted, royal. Think Big, and focus on long-term career changes, and goals. 

July 23   MERCURY enters LEO  conjuncts the SUN

Very big positive speak your mind and heart day. Say it loud and proud, A day of demonstrations. BIG DRAMAS.

JULY 25 VENUS TURNS RETROGRADE at 00 degrees VIRGO *****

this is a big turning point on many levels. Yes Venus Retrogrades every 1+ years. VENUS in VIRGO is initiating a new brand of fashion based on intelligence,  frugality, practicality and realism.  

MARKET CRASH DAY! In the sign of balancing the budget we must go back and attend to the overextending. Relationships back up and break up. Who has the power?  Old ego issues must be dealt with.  Economy goes Retrograde. Time to tighten our belts now to get used to it when Jupiter enters Virgo on August 11 for a whole year of penny-pinching.

MARS squares URANUS + new initiation into Cardinal CROSSES at 20+degrees Cancer/Aries

The Cardinal Cross energy hasn’t occurred at this degree yet. The revolution is sparked. Protests, marches, battles, the people are angry. 

July 26  Mars trine Chiron in Pisces

the people want spiritual solutions, or they want escapism and denial. This will be a major topic over his year and into 2016.

URANUS turns RETROGRADE at 20 + degrees ARIES

The revolution is fought from within. Back to the designing board for a few months. 

July 27 Mercury in Leo inconjunct to Neptune in Pisces

Pride comes before the fall. Admitting our addictions helps to open the heart. Thinking from ego destroys the spiritual process. You can’t fool the people with fake illusions of spiritual content. Using your heart mind gets you to the truth. 

JULY 29 Mercury in Leo inconjunct to Pluto in Capricorn

Inconjuncts are like foreigners trying to communicate. No comprende is the order of the day.  Power struggles stalemates. 

JULY 31 BLUE MOON- FULL MOON in AQUARIUS @ 7+ degrees 

VENUS re-enters LEO 

Blue Moons happen once every three years. 

Lots of fire trines on this Full Moon. Goddess ATHENA , ancient patroness of Greece is the mover and shaker here. Name destiny, the planets ARE the Ancient Gods and Goddesses. Sun Mercury Jupiter and hours later Venus are in Leo. The South Node, Vesta-Goddess of INVESTMENTS, Uranus and Eris Goddess of Strife are all in a GRAND FIRE trined by ATHENA. That’s a 9 alarm FIRE!!!!! Money market meltdown……

AUGUST preview August 1st PDT

SATURN turns DIRECT at 28 degrees of Scorpio on LAMMAS Pagan cross-quarter day. We are half-way to Autumn.

Aug 2 in EDT.  SATURN IS SUPER POWERFUL on this day.

Ruler of reality, death, the cosmic cop, the tax man, SATURN collects his karmic dues. Saturn has been Retrograde since March 14.  Father Time, the great leveler will stay in Scorpio until September 17.  The Hell will be unleashed, Saturn has been held back all these months.

Aries New Moon, Pluto Retrograde, death, births

Every New Moon is a new beginning. The Aries new moon at the potent 29th degree really begins the year according to the natural calendar.  Aries initiates a new beginning in the circle of life.

I am feeling a huge energy shift, aren’t you? Things are happening very spontaneously and you need to be ready in the moment to act. Very Aries like. Spontaneous combustion. Keep you wits about you.

The New Moon activates at 2:56 pm EDT near that fateful critical 29th degree which is conjunct to the nearest spiral galaxy to us, Andromeda.  Her myth gives us the secret key to this New moon. She is 2.5 million light years away. 

MYTHOLOGY OF ANDROMEDA

Cassiopeia boasted that she was more beautiful than the sea-nymphs of Neptune. Neptune was so angry he demanded that Andromeda,Cassiopeia’s daughter be chained to a rock in the sea to be eaten by the Titan sea monster which Neptune commanded. Perseus, the dashing young hero, was sent on a mission to destroy  Medusa, which he did, flying on Pegasus. He spied Andromeda before the monster got to her and married her. All of these myths are psychological. If we boast about how beautiful we are- like Kim Kardashian, we are setting ourselves up psychically and soulfully for a fall. YEEZUS IS NOT PERSEUS.  Would you like that on a T-shirt?

 The hero is always the masculine active part within ourselves which must battle our own inner demons in order to receive love and balance. 

Mars is the ruler of Aries and he is in Taurus now, Venus’s sign and so Mars is much slower, purposeful,  peaceful and earthy than usual. We need to remember to slow down and be in our bodies, aware of the spirit {Aries} burning within.

Two significant events preceed the new moon and add their alchemy to the mix.

April 16 PLUTO turns Retrograde @ 15 degrees 32 minutes of Capricorn @ 11:56 pm EDT.  Turning Direct on  September 25 @ 12 degrees 58 

Pluto will revisit the degrees of  the last few years worth of Uranus Pluto squares and reactivating them like a junkie’s track marks, that’s the vision I get. Addictions issues to work out there folks? 

We must have death to have live.

Check which houses and aspects Plutos Retrograde will drag you back down into. This is very important stuff to deal with- Pluto/Death is your guide.. If you want to continue to grow you must finish all your dirty regressive past life Scorpio issues now.

This is Pluto’s annual 5+ month sojourn to his own turf, the Underworld.It will take until January 15, 2016 until Pluto crosses his latest Retrograde path and advances once more.

Light a candle for Hades/Pluto/DEATH in honor of these months to visit your shadows and especially when Saturn revisits Pluto’s domain of Scorpio June 14- September 17.

Mars squares Jupiter in Leo the day before the New Moon

Jupiter and Mars are high-octane fuel, so you should be feeling pretty jazzed up and raring to go. 

Mars is conjunct to Mercury in Taurus and trining Pluto-

very powerful earth Trine. Virgos can benefit.

Venus in Gemini is opposite Saturn in Sagittarius Retrograde-

this is a seriously sober tug of war with lots of laughs. 

Jupiter and Goddess JUNO in Leo are conjunct and squaring Mercury and Mars.

Zeus and Hera in Greek were the Head God and Goddess of all Greece, they are in dispute with their child and messenger. Who can you trust to deliver the message?

NEPTUNE and Goddess VESTA are conjunct in Pisces { exact April 16}

Vesta is the Goddess of spiritual focus who kept the fires ever-burning. Vestal Virgins were not sexual virgins at all, that is totally Christian propaganda. They were  sacred tantric sexual independent women who served as living embodiments of the Goddess  in her temples. Neptune is the all-encompassing Dream of life. Neptune holds the energy as all time is now, for us to remember we have a unified field of consciousness with all of life. Remember this golden age. Women healed and focussed sacred sexual energy to bring balance into the world. We need to bring that energy back now. Women need to relearn and reclaim it. The world would be totally reborn anew, being lived from a spiritual focus of love first. 

Neptune and Vesta meet only once every four years. Neptune’s transit takes 168 for a complete revolution. These two were last together in Pisces in  1852-1859. The time of the Civil War in America. Interesting parallel. I did predict a civil war coming in the U.S.

Attunement with cosmic  consciousness. Faith in the order and meaning of life.
