May 13  I wanted to look at my trusty THOTH Tarot deck

Card # 8 ADJUSTMENT/JUSTICE/KARMA,  LIBRA

INTERESTING…

Traditionally the TAROT TRUMP #8 is called STRENGTH and under the influence of  LEO in most Tarot decks. It shows a woman holding open a lion’s jaws, having the strength to conquer fear and our animal instincts. 

The THOTH deck  has # 8 as JUSTICE, or ADJUSTMENT and is assigned to LIBRA and has STRENGTH as # 11 which is Leo ruled.

 The two card are  interchangable and different Tarot decks often show 8 as Strength or Justice and 11 as Justice or Strength. The Thoth deck changed the progression for metaphysical reasons.

Number 8 is wealth in China, all 8 directions on the karmic wheel and in Feng Shui.

This  card shows the scales of JUSTICE or KARMA. Justice is Blind because she need to be perfectly neutral, unattached. LIBRA is an air sign.  Libra is all about committed relationships.

Number 8 turned on its side is INFINITY- ETERNITY -NOW

In the ETERNAL NOW- where hangs your karma?

We are hanging in the karmic balance.  EQUANIMITY, poise, non attachment are the best ways to proceed.
