Lilith enters Gemini July 18 2021 until April 14, 2022 where we learn to question assumptions about history, truth and justice.

Ceres in Gemini July 31-turns Rretrograde Oct. 8 @ 12 ° 8’, December 21, 21 re-enters Taurus

January 14 2022 Ceres turns stationary Direct at 27 Taurus conjunct Algol.

Feb. 9 Ceres re-enters Gemini and leaves May 15, 2022.

Right now Lilith and Ceres are only 1 degree apart in Gemini. The energy of these 2 sides of the same coin primal archetypes can be fully understood and examined now. Lilith is the original woman,the Death bringing Goddess, Ceres is the ancient Great Mother, archetypal birther of all life on earth. Ceres and Lilith in Gemini engender endless questions about sex, love, mothers and whores.

This is a feminine dichotomy. These feminine archetypes are complimentary opposites but made into a split sexuality in man’s projection of women as mothers or whores. They are squaring angry perfectionist Mars in Virgo at 2 degrees and embolden by Jupiter at 29 Aquarius opposing the South Node past life memories in Sagittarius with Juno the goddess of marriage and the feminine form of genius. Giving us a multiplicity of ways to question women’s sexuality independence and roles.

This is a hot mess as duality born Gemini creates Endless questions about the nature of equality, sexuality, relationships,nurturing, family, friends, dating, flirting, independence and power struggles.

The present critical cross with perfectionist Mars in Virgo which is Ceres natural sign and erratic Jupiter in Aquarius, with the karmic south node in Sagittarius accesses by the multi dimensional wisdom of Juno is a big deal.

There’s something called psychodrama. It is a type of therapy where you act out all the parts of yourself , your inner conflicting dialogues such as this astrological one I just laid out for you.

August 1 is celebrated as one of the 8 spokes of the Turning of the year in the ancient nature calendar. Lammas is a pagan Harvest festival

This is the original Burning Man Festival where John Barleycorn the original wheat/corn man was burned as an effigy. It’s traditionally a time of celebration of the harvest. John Barleycorn or a corn man figure symbolizing the sacred grain and most especially a sacred loaf was baked and offered to the four directions and to the earth Mother Ceres/Virgo in gratitude. 

The Goddess CERES/ Demeter would be honored as the giver of abundant grains. Lughnasad is its other name. We are halfway to the AUTUMN Equinox now. It is an Air element festival traditionally celebrated as the wake of the Sun KING, who is a star,  is dying now in the waning of his own Light. Cookie people figures and star cookies are baked in celebration. It is a time of anxious waiting, we are not yet assured of a harvest which will keep the people alive. It is time to free oneself from FEAR.  A snake dance is created going counter-clockwise, bread figures are thrown into the bonfire to symbolize the burning up of one’s fears. Then one says what one hopes to harvest.

August 2019 we have help from the Stars with Venus trining Chiron the wounded healer.

Symbols of STARS are held up. The High Priestess would say,

Ceres is conjunct the Great Attractor at 14 Sagittarius and the sextile helps Venus in Aquarius which is very cool and detached warm up a bit. There may be important women teachers, colleagues or those you network with who will act as a warm supportive mentor. Issues of trust are important to forge right now.

Groundhog Day /Candlemas I got you babe

February 2nd in modern secular times we have the mash up of Candlemas and Groundhog day. 

What’s candlemas?  

Originally an ancient pagan holiday.  At the beginning of February, in honoring of the myth of spring, wherein Pluto stole Proserpine/Persephone, and her mother Ceres/ Demeter sought her in the night with lighted candles. The custom was to walk around the city with lighted candles in honor of the Goddess. Because the Christians could not destroy these ancient customs, they called it Candlemas  and made it in honor of the Blessed Virgin.

February also takes its name from Februa meaning “religious purification”, and means “the month of purification”, or “the cleansing month”.

Candlemas is celebrated as the 40th day of Jesus’s birth where he was presented in the Temple in Jerusalem for blessing by the Rabbi.. Mothers stayed in their homes with newborns until  the 20th day. Simeon then prophesied to Mary: “Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against. Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed” it is recorded in the Gospels.

In modern archetypes, Groundhog Day has become an icon for the literal theme of the movie about “seeing your shadow” which the groundhog may or may not do on Feb 2.  The Movie, starring Bill Murray from  1993 directed and written by Harold Ramis. has the protagonist in a karmic time loop. He woke up every day experiencing the same things over and over and he cannot die.

The message is: WHAT KARMIC LESSONS are you still stuck on and repeating over and over, like Phil Connors in the film? 

 

Think about this during Mercury’s Retrograde in Aquarius.the sign of liberation. 

Make this your Groundhog day mantra.

All FULL MOONS are BiG FAT FULL TIMES of completions and thanksgiving.

The SUN is in CANCER and Moon is opposite in detriment, as a Capricorn Moon is dry, barren not emotional. Dry as a bone, as Saturn rules the bones and Capricorn.

This is the rebalancing of the Mother/whore/Sacred Priestess SPLIT.

These 2 are INITIATING MARS the sacred Masculine warrior to re-educate him on how to treat the FEMININE with respect, love and honour. Mars is at 23 degees Libra.

THEY ARE ALL SQUARING the SUN AND MOON and Jupiter at the very last CRITICAL degree -29 of CANCER.

Opposite the N.N. VESTA CERES AND MARS in ARIES is Eris the Goddess of DISCORD and the SOUTH NODE with URANUS close by at 16 degrees ARIES.  URANUS is bringing in NEW PASSION, revolution and shaking out the old paradigms of MASCULINE domination.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HEALING scenario. USE IT WISELY.

MEDITATION TO THANK and RELEASE old emotional family baggage

ON the FULL MOON- be by water, a lake river ocean or in a bath or shower. Or simply use a Bowl of water and some earth.

Use 4 candles for the 4 directions, incense.

Create sacred space, call in the 4 elements and spirits always moving clockwise. Breathe and center yourself.

With JUPITER at the last degree of CANCER, old emotional baggage, the childhood wounds and resentments can be most easily released. We need to get the last years lesson that Jupiter the Master Teacher has been showing us..

 The hurts, the tears ,the fear of “not being a Man”  pleasing Daddy, all the emotional insecurities that your mother also gave you, can be felt fully on a FULL MOON when our feelings are under sway of the MOON like the tides, when we are all pregnant and heavy “with child.”

The sequence is to fully feel all that you have held down and suppressed. No matter how terrible and scary it is all the “sacred wounding” that each of us must endure to heal ourselves.

Use this auspicious time to get the help of these Goddess Asteroids and bring a balance to you within. Capricorn rules the body, the bones, the skeleton. We need to rebuild a new emotional and physical body.
