The South Node of the Moon also known as the Fated Nodal point also called KETU, the Dragon’s Tail in Vedic Astrology. Is in Capricorn now, where we need to let go and it signifies Past collective karma. South Node has been conjunct to Centaur Pholus since Covid-19 began to be in the news, and it is now trine to Uranus in Taurus, a sign of chaos, radical change and revolution and in Taurus, also the body, tangible values, money, and the stock markets at 4 degrees.
I’ve been sensing that Pholus is a big factor in the world wide lockdown in the process because of Covid-19. Let’s find out more. I really have not studied Pholus or worked with this Centaur in depth until now.
Pholus was the second Centaur discovered on January 9, 1992 by David Rabinowitz at the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona The very reddish object has an elongated shape and a rotation period of 9.98 hours.
Chiron was the first Centaur discovered November 1, 1977. The planetary class of Centaurs was defined by Pholus. The criteria being small objects which cross the orbital paths of other planets and which were not in any previously known orbit.
On Pholus’ birth chart of discovery, the Sun was at 17 Capricorn,
Moon in PISCES connected to Viruses, Mercury at 28 Sagittarius connected to the Galactic Center, Venus at 10 Sagittarius, Mars at 29 Sagittarius,

Pholus orbital period is 92+ years and it crosses the orbits of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Just As Chiron is Considered to be a key to Saturn and Uranus, Pholus is considered a key to Neptune.
According to astrologer Melanie Reinhart Pholus is “small cause, big effect.” Pholus uncorks, very literally a point of no return situation. It’s like a genie coming out of a magic lamp. Traditionally jinn’s or Genie’s, like fairies and mermaids were not good, they were evil tricksters. Like an experiment that takes on a life of its own, Pholus indicates a point of no turning back.
Pholus relates to three generations, back so literally look at a situation which started with great-grandparents, or any ancestors.
Pholus relates to addictions and their healing and hence it’s association with Neptune planet of addictions, denial.
As a major catalyst or a catalytic converter, Pholus initiates rapid changes, which radically affect the collective in a landslide or domino effect way. Pholus exaggerates energies in their raw state. We certainly feel like we’re “ caught in a landslide, no escape from reality” like in the Queen dong Bohemian Rhapsody.

As Pholus is conjunct South Node it is a past karmic lesson we are dealing with now. There are indications of major change as a result of the Covid-19 at every level of society. It can indicate a major revolutionary energy as the result of Neptunian secrets.
