Lilith conjunct Mars in Libra, sex, transgender

BLACK MOON LILITH, the DARK GODDESS, the death bringer, the shunned dark side of the Feminine, the “other half” which Western Patriarchal culture tried to kill off and suppress is  back with a vengeance. She is not a vampire as is popular portrayed. She does not suck blood and kill people. She sucks semen from sleeping men and impregnates herself with it. The Patriarchy twisted this into her being a demoness who gives birth to and then kills 100 of her own children every day. Of course this is just a metaphor for “wet dreams” and against masturbation, which the Jews prohibit. The Egyptians, their bosses for three hundred years worshipped male masturbation. That’s where the dislike of it comes from.

Lilith is represented by Black Moon Lilith which in Astronomy is not a planet but the Moons furthest point in its orbit around the earth. The Moons orbit is elliptical and therefore its path around the Earth each month has two distinct points. One point in the orbit is the closest distance to earth, called the Perigee and the furthest point in the orbit, called the Apogee. Some Astrologers only work with the True, oscillating Lilith point or the  “mean Lilith” which is a balance point. There is also an Asteroid named Lilith to further complicate matters. 

Historically one treatise on Lilith comes from the Left emanation,  mystical writing of which predates the Zohar a book of Jewish mysticism. It  states that Samael {Satan or Lucifer whose name means the Light Bringer} and Lilith, who must actually be VENUS as Venus Lucifer when she is in her Morning Star aspect, are in the shape of an androgynous  being, double-faced, born out of the emanation of God, and corresponding in the spiritual realm to Adam and Eve, who were likewise born as a hermaphrodite “were like the image of Above” of an androgynous deity.

Black Moon Lilith {Mean Node} will be in Libra from August 25, 2015 to May 21, 2016 

Lilith conjuncts Mars exact  December 1st at 10+ degrees of Libra. 

Lilith was the first woman and her conjunction to Mars in Libra may bring out men’s fear of women being equal. But to me it is a sense of JUSTICE in the Tarot #8. 

Lilith the  Dark Goddess deserves to have her rightful place reinstated to balance out the imbalance in women’s roles. Men have lived out of balance in rigid roles as well. 

This is a strong marker of Equality of the sexes. New Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau immediately created his Liberal cabinet of half men and half women. “Because it’s 2015” he said. 

This is very apt aspect with the issues of transgender, gender neutrality and fluid sexuality being Hot martial topics.

 Lilith is the stronger here as Mars is in Venus’ sign and weak. Many LGB are not accepting transgenders posing as women most famously because of Caitlyn Jenner being given womanly status.Many feminists are also rejecting transgender male to females as being accepted as women or lesbians.

This is a very political debate and for me it is totally based on the pharmaceutical industry crating and controlling the issue and is therefore another version of the status quo, another Patriarchal Frankenstein monster, creating a better woman from a man. My husband artist Napoleon Brousseau is writing a book about this. This debate will go on for a long time. I respect people feeling like they may feel like they were born in the wrong body but being androgynous, which is originally the way we were created ,is a perfect thing in itself.  It is the symbol of wholeness.

Be both sexes in one,  be yourself don’t change anything. Transgender in its present status furthers stereotypes about men and women. 

We are all seeking that magical equal relationship. This is a very powerful potent aspect of that. 

If you have planets with in 5 -15 degrees of Libra this aspect may help you to take more action to balance both your male and female sides. All Cardinal signs at those degrees Aries, Cancer, Capricorn which is the Cardinal cross degrees are also ignited by this aspect. 

Many strong women have Lilith Mars aspects in their astrology charts.

Caitlyn Jenner transgender Astrology

Bruce Jenner, Olympian athlete revealed his new transgender name and identity June 1, 2015. A new twitter account appeared @ 12:17 pm  EDT. That’s a public birth announcement and a birth chart. I was writing a Bruce Jenner birth chart article, which I will still do, post and compare. Let’s investigate who she/he is through her astrology chart.

 Cailyn Jenner is a GEMINI of course, what else could she be? Ruled by planet Mercury, she is, like the planet, a hermaphrodite, an androgynous, twin-sexed being. Gemini is the sign of the trickster who always keep us guessing, messes with our minds and never wants to grow up or get old. Mercury is communications, analysis, the media, loves to talk, and is mutable, ever changing, like the wind.

The Sun symbol of the self/identity/ego is conjunct to Fixed Star Aldebaran at 9 degrees + Gemini. This is one of the Four Main Archangel Stars, Michael. It means the Eye of God, or Stella Dominatrix. With a Mars like nature, this Star confers, firmness, courage, integrity and strength all of which Caitlyn has had to use.  

The 11th degree Sun in the Sabian symbols means, “newly opened lands offer the pioneer new opportunities for experience.” The meaning is “we find the human being essentially engaged in his {or her} personal and particular struggle for full and effective individualization.” Perfect. 

Caitlyn’s Gemini Sun is ruled by MERCURY RETROGRADE where it is the most powerful according to Ancient Indian Vedic astrology. Mercury Retrograde natal peeps always “think differently, outside the box” whether that box is gender, or Wheaties. Caitlyn loves to talk and to play, with people’s minds and ideas about who she/he is. There may be many replays or rewinds in this identity journey. Caitlyn is a karmic re-identity.

Caitlyn’s Moon is in Scorpio at the next to last most critical degree. The Moon is the most feminine of all the planets. Indicating feelings, intuition, moods, Caitlyn/Bruce’s own mother. The Moon indicates our deepest emotional needs for security and home. Scorpio Moons always speaks of Death, Transformation, and Rebirth. Scorpio Moon is Fixed, obsessive, all about power, control, deep desires which have been hidden, sex, and charisma. Her Moon and emotional needs are heavy.

You will see Caitlyn’s beauty, vanity and wealth  first and foremost. Venus in Cancer is very emotional, sensitive, and sentimental with family being everything. Didn’t Jon Stewart nail it perfectly? Of course you are going to be known for your appearance. Venus is square to Uranus indicating the technological basis of the beauty and the revolutionary new  image. SATURN rules Capricorn which is C’s Descendant where she/he interrelates with all others. There is something strictly business going on here. Yes Caitlyn’s transformation will make the already wealthy = $100 million smackers Jenner even wealthier.

Saturn also rules the 8^th Aquarius house in traditional rulerships. Saturn is the physical world and Aquarius is technology which is the means whereby this sex change is made possible. All transgender people depend on drugs, hormones, surgery, all modern technologies bringing Aquarian freedom. Aquarius is beyond gender, unisex they used to call it.

MARS is in Gemini in the 11^th house also Aquarian natured along with the Sun and Mercury. Mars is the planet of everything male, action, defenses, sex, and passion. Makes sense that Mars is also dualistic. Mars is conjunct the asteroid EROS as is Caitlyn’s Sun making her an erotic object of millions of people’s attention and discussions. Like Caitlyn/Bruce or hate/him everyone will have an opinion about what she is and what she means.

MARS rules Caitlyn’s ARIES MC, career or world’s stage position as well as the 5^th house. She is a gender-bending warrioress an Amazon. There is also an acting, creative self-expression, vanity, ego, being the drama Queen, open-heartedness.  Saturn and the Moon occupy the 5^th house as well. There’s some serious shit drama being told here.

JUPITER, planet of expansion is in LEO in the 1^st house of ME. “I AM” selfie, ego. Jupiter in LEO is the courage to live from your heart. Enormous will power, strength and charisma. Caitlyn’s identity is rich, royal, powerful, dramatic, vain, ego driven, selfish. Jupiter is conjunct asteroid JUNO the Goddess whose name was given to the month of June. Juno was the “long-suffering wife of Zeus {Hera in Greek myths}.  Juno symbolizes the perfect wife, feminine symbol of the masculine’s image of a passive servant of patriarchal, a Trophy wife or woman, larger than life image.

NEPTUNE planet of spirituality, dreams, illusion, glamour, delusion, fantasy, denial, addictions, Hollywood, is in Pisces in the 8^th {Scorpio-like} house of sex, money, power, transformation and secrets. Neptune is square to the Sun of Caitlyn’s identity so there is something ephemeral and not totally real or substantial about her identity. Much of it is fantasy, Hollywood, creating illusions and drug based.

NEPTUNE is squaring Saturn Retrograde, the Sun, Mars and Eros. Desire may be an obsessive fantasy, a past-life memory and obsession. The image feeds popular culture’s desire to deny serious reality and to talk about {Gemini} glamour and illusion, plastic surgery, nothing very real in the name of reality TV. 

URANUS, planet of individual freedom, revolution, chaos, technology, invention, and change is exactly at the High Noon position of Caitlyn’s chart waving its flag or freedom.  Uranus symbolizes Aquarian liberation for all. Caitlyn certainly shocked a lot of people and will always do so.Uranus is squaring Venus bringing a revolutionary new feminine identity.

PLUTO, Lord of DEATH, rebirth, sex, and transformation is at the 15^th and most powerful degree of Capricorn, which is physical reality in the 6^th house of work and service. Pluto is square to Uranus and the Mid-heaven. This transformation is also very career based. It is meant to boost Caitlyn’s career.  Pluto rules Scorpio, the 5^th house of the will, actors, creative-self-expression and heart.

Pluto symbolizes archetypes, the unconscious and Caitlyn is definitely carrying an Archetypal energy. All famous people embody Archetypal presences. As Bruce was an Olympic champion he already belongs to the home of the Gods and Goddesses.  Zeus was forever shape-shifting, and taking different forms.

There is also a “FINGER OF GOD” or inconjunct aspect between Jupiter and Mars to Pluto. It is Caitlyn’s education and the expansion {Jupiter} of her ego, pride and privilege [Leo} to be aggressively aiming {Mars} to be living from the Soul’s- Pluto’s desires and dictates.

LILITH, the first woman, is in VIRGO in the 3^rd house of communications opposite CHIRON in the 9^th house of philosophy and teaching and square MARS in GEMINI and Asteroid Pandora in the 11^th house of wishes hopes and dreams. By embodying the wounded, rejected Dark Goddess, symbol of authenticity, power and needing no one in a relationship, Caitlyn will always be at war with the patriarchy, will always be rejected in some way at the same time acting as a teacher and wounded healer. She may look happy, Mars in Gemini, but deep down the wounds will never heal.

CHIRON at 21+ degrees PISCES is in a GRAND WATER TRINE with Venus in Cancer on the Ascendant and the Moon in Scorpio. Chiron is the wounded healer, and Chiron is the vulnerability, the wound that heals. Chiron is the animal, wild untamable instinctive part of our natures. Chiron in Pisces is deep soul wounds, spiritual wounds, self-undoing and Moon in Scorpio is obsessive, sexual, deeply controlling, into being in power. Caitlin is a wounded soul, a feminine soul, although soul is beyond gender, who has waited till maturity to transform into her desired sexual identity.

Pluto is conjunct the asteroid named Caitlyn. You can’t make this stuff up. 

Pluto and Uranus were in Virgo, a feminine sign involved in the sexual revolution of women in the 60’s when Feminism became broadly based because of the new technology of birth control pills. Interesting that Uranus is now in Aries, ruled by Mars, a masculine sign and Pluto is in Capricorn a feminine sign known for the Patriarchy and corporate halls of power and wealth. The modern Uranus/Pluto square is producing a radically different type of sexual revolution.

The NORTH NODE is in LIBRA symbolizing, being an ambassador, a go-between and balancing the opposites. Libra is extremely social and needs to be noticed by others, Libra is in the 3^rd house, Gemini- natural house of information. North Node in Libra is ruled by Venus, Goddess of beauty, love, harmony, the arts, and relationships.

The South Node in Aries in the 9^th house is leaving the Masculine, Mars ruled aggression behind. The 9^th is a Sagittarius type house, symbolizing being a teacher, a philosopher, a traveler, having honesty and integrity. Caitlyn brings the past forward with her transforming it into Libran.

The asteroid Loke the closest name for Loki the Norse Trickster God who could become female, is at zero degrees Virgo in the talk talk 3^rd house exactly square to Saturn in Sagittarius and square Asteroid VESTA at the 29^th last karmic degree of Pisces. This symbolizes that Caitlyn is carrying deep archetypal role-playing through this incarnation. Vesta is the Goddess of focus, sacred space internally and inVESTments, literally $. There a trickster element to Caitlyn’s identity.

Caitlyn’s VENUS is importantly Out Of Bounds beyond 23 degrees 26 minutes. This means that Caitlyn is a person who had walked away from situations which more conventional people might consider prestigious. She has decided to escape from the rules and norms of society which she was born into. She is ignoring society’s expectation in relation to gender, age and stereotypes.

Caitlyn’s trandgendering is modern shape-shifting. Shamans traditionally do this in spirit and in physical flight. She is an androgyne, that is also a scientific and mythic term.  I think we need new language. Caitlyn to me is in-between sexes and states, still transitional or liminal. Why not call this state an inbetwixt or a twain?  How about femliminal? Or simply androgynous, it is an alchemical term. 

Love her, hate her or totally indifferent to the hype, the state of transgender is a hot topic. Naturally there are a very small percentage of the population who feel born into the wrong sexual body, as are hermaphrodites. Transgender does occur naturally, there is a group of people who naturally change sex at puberty, a genetic mutation of sorts. Much of the issue has to do with Patriarchal cultural stereotyping. Language anchors us in culturally based stereotypes. What do you think?
